Abstract

The grid to vehicle context in this report referred to the current status of the vehicle charging system that supported by the grid and its implication to the grid. The electric vehicle also can be exploited and treated as the mobile energy storage that has the capability to inject the power back to the grid. The idea of transfer back power the grid from electric vehicle is commonly known as V2G. In total, the cumulative horse power that millions vehicle have are tens times larger than the total of all electricity generating capacity in the world. However, due to the technical issue, the vehicle potential could not be tap to contribute to the grid until the birth of current concept of so called V2G. V2G is relatively a new technological breakthrough, which not only support the grid but also could potentially accelerate the process of creating a smarter grid.

Abstract

The problem examined was how student learning outcomes in observation text writing could be increased through the use of the concept map strategy in ClassVII-3 of SMP N 2 Peusangan Siblah Krueng, Bireuen. This study aimed to improve student learning outcomes in observation text writing using the concept map strategy in Class VII-3 of SMP N 2 Peusangan Siblah Krueng, Bireuen. The approaches used in this study were the qualitative research hand the Class Action Research (PTK). Data collected in the study came from the pre-testand post test, observation, and field notes. Techniques of data analysis were data reduction, data collection, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the implementation of the Indonesian language learning can enhance the activities of teachers and students. The results of observations ofthe activities of teachers and students in the implementation of the cycle I action obtained an average percentage of 73.7%. However, in terms of the results, the implementation of the first cycle had not been successful because the students obtaining the score of ≥ 65 were only16 students, with the class completeness of 80%. Thus, the researcher conducted arepetition cycle, and was successful. The results ofobservations ofteachers and studentsinthe second cycle earned the average percentage of 83.3%, and reached 89.2% of classical completeness. Further more, in terms ofthe results, the implementation ofthe second cycleshowedthat theimplementation of the Indonesian language learning with the concept map scould improve the student achievement in Writing Observation Text. This can be seen from the percentage of students who received ≥ 65 classically were 89.2%, with the class average of 83.3. Thus, the concept map strategy applied can enhance the activities of teachers and students in learning Indonesian on Writing Observation Text in Class VII-3 of SMP N 2 Peusangan Siblah Krueng, Bireuen district. Abstract

Saluran transmisi udara umumnya menggunakan konduktor jenis ACSR (Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced) yang memiliki batas temperatur kerja yang diizinkan sebesar 90oC. Permasalahan utama dari penggunaan konduktor ACSR adalah timbulnya andongan dan tegangan tarik. Andongan dan tegangan tarik dapat meningkat akibat arus saluran, tekanan angin dan temperatur lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh arus saluran, temperatur lingkungan, dan tekanan angin terhadap andongan dan tegangan tarik konduktor. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan andongan dan tegangan tarik adalah metode caternary. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa andongan dapat meningkat sebesar 0,00012% akibat pengaruh 1 Ampere arus saluran, 0,415% akibat pengaruh 1oC temperatur lingkungan, dan 0,0002% akibat pengaruh 1 m/s kecepatan angin. Tegangan tarik tidak berubah apabila dipengaruhi kenaikan 1 ampere arus saluran, tetapi dapat meningkat 0,000001% apabila dipengaruhi1 m/s kecepatan angin. Sebaliknya, setiap kenaikan temperatur 1oC, tegangan tarik berkurang 0,0407%. Kata Kunci :

Abstract

Lagu daerah merupakan salah satu bentuk dari budaya yang memilki ciri yang khas yang membedakan antara daerah satu dengan lain baik dari segi bahasa, instrumen maupun nilai-nilai yang terkandung dari lagu itu sendiri. Kemajuan teknologi khususnya dibidang informasi menyebabkan mudahnya mengakses budaya-budaya asing sehingga menyebabkan tergesernya budaya daerah. Selain itu, kurangnya minat masyarakat khususnya generasi muda terhadap budaya daerah adalah karena ketersediaan dan kemudahan dalam mengakses kebudayaan daerah khususnya lagu daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat rancangan aplikasi lagu-lagu daerah yang terdapat di Indonesia berbasis android yang memiliki fitur berupa asal lagu daerah, lirik lagu daerah serta arti lagu daerah dalam bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa inggris. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi android yang memiliki halaman awal berupa tampilan pulau-pulau di Negara Indonesia dan setiap lagu memiliki lirik.

Abstract

Abstrak Sel elektrokimia merupakan pemanfaatan arus listrik yang dihasilkan dari sebuah reaksi kimia ataupun arus listrik yang menyebabkan terjadinya suatu reaksi kimia. Pemanfaatan sel elektrokimia banyak digunakan untuk menghasilkan teknologi terbarukan. Sel elektrolisis dan sel Volta merupakan hasil terapan dari sel elektrokimia yang menggunakan media elektroda dan larutan elektrolit. Sampai saat ini, sel elektrokimia masih memiliki peranan penting di dalam kemajuan teknologi modern mulai industri otomotif maupun rumah tangga. Kata kunci:

Abstract

Electrical energy crisis related to the increasing population in an area will increase the electrical energy customers. Besides diminishing reserves of fossil energy that is required of alternative energy from renewable energy sources. The problem is in incorporating a potential source of renewable energy with a generator needs power generation hybrid, the hybrid system with a generator as backup energy utilization is less than optimal because when there was a deficit power generator takes over all of the power wasted in renewable energy generation. The purpose of study is to produce a hybrid system design between the generation of solar energy, wind energy and generator as support (support) when the power deficit in energy of renewable generator. Research Method in the design of hybrid system is a design block diagram consisting of solar panels, wind turbines, inverters, and generator. At this stage it has produced research outputs in the form of models of hybrid renewable energy generation systems and generators, then make a circuit simulation and measurement. The results of this research is a hybrid system that works adaptive- connected the generator to the system when the power deficit or increase the load to provide power support on renewable energy generation. This hybrid system with a capacity of 3.5 kW less power than the previous system with the composition generator 5.7 kW 2.2 kW of renewable energy consists of a 1 kW solar panels, wind turbines 1.3 kW and 1.3 kW generator voltage at 310V DC bus coupling, the voltage on the bus coupling AC 220V / 50 Hz, total load current at 16A. The percentage utilization of renewable energy rose from 11.73% to 24,94% and generator utilization fell from 24.50% to 16.74%.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Project-Based Learning in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Polytechnic in Malaysia. This study was designed with Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) model. Project-Based Learning is a different approach than the traditional learning in the sense that it is a student-centered learning approach based on the principles of constructivism. However, this present paper focused on the input aspect with comparing students’ and supervisor’ perspective. The input dimension assesses the module and supervisor’s readiness. This study involved a random sample of 118 students and 43 supervisors in the Mechanical Engineering Department in Polytechnic Kota Bharu Malaysia. The instrument used in this study were a set of questionnaire. The study found that both the students and supervisors agreed that Project-Based Learning approach is appropriate for the final project course J5012. In addition, both groups of respondents believed that the supervisors possesed adequate technical knowledge and implemented supervisory duties effectively. Nevertheless, students perceived the module content was hard to understand.

Abstract

Aceh province has a myriad of beautiful locations or attractions but still a small part that is visited by tourists both local and foreign tourists. This is due to the lack of promotion of the beauty of tourist attractions in Aceh. Game is one of the media that can be used to promote the beauty and tourist location in Aceh. The use of games for adventure games such as adventure to find tourist attractions is a type of game that can be used as a media campaign. This game is expected to make it easier for the public to get to know aceh from the tourist objects and culture in it so that the curiosity of the people about Aceh province will increase.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang cepat telah mempengaruhi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan, Oleh karena itu, lembaga pendidikan harus mampu mengantisipasi perkembangan tersebut dengan terus menerus mengupayakan suatu program yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik.maka dalam penerapan perlu melakukan inovasi pendidikan, salah satu inovasi pendidikan dengan menerapkan e-learning, Elektronic Learning, merupakan cara baru dalam proses belajar mengajar yang menggunakan media elektronik khususnya internet sebagai sistem pembelajarannya. Harapan atas sistem E-learning di masa mendatang adalah penggunaan E-learning menjadi semakin efektif seiring dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi dan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan. Pengembangan sistem E-learning juga diharapkan tidak hanya memperhitungkan masalah finansial dan profitabilitas, tetapi juga memperhatikan sisi psikologis pelajar dan mampu mengakomodasi berbagai kepribadian dan cara belajar masing-masing peserta. Abstract

Stock is the most popular method today for investing and offers a lot of profit. The profit came from the difference between the prices when you buy it and when you sell it. Even though, the risk for investing using stock is very big. That is why stock investment must be done with correct analysis to maximize the profit and to avoid loss.One of methods for analyzing stock price movement is technical analysis. Technical analysis is a method which is based on stock price movement in the past time. One of popular technical analysis method is Rate of Change. The main concept is to compare current closing price with the closing price x-times periods ago. Using this method, stock broker will know the pace at which price is changing. Tracking the rate of the change of price can confirm trends and forewarn of market reversals. In this final project, I’ve tried to study the process of technical analysis using Rate of Change method, and then I developed software to implement this method. In the early phase, I studied some literature which is related to theories of stock market and technical analysis. After that I did some analyses which involve the analysis of how Rate of Change method works and functional specifications of the software which I would develop. Based on the results of the analysis, I did the design process. The purpose of Rate of Change test is to examine the accuracy of this method on detecting trade signals. And then this final project closed with the conclusion and suggestion for future development. Key Words:
