Abstract

Artikel ini akan membahas tentang ansambel Gendang Beleq yang sangat populer di kalangan suku Sasak Lombok. Data dalam artikel ini diperoleh melalui penelitian lapangan yang dilakukan di pulau Lombok. Informasi tentang Gendang Beleq sangat beragam, tetapi kita tidak akan membahas semuanya di sini. Artikel ini hanya akan membahas tentang komparasi Gendang Beleq dahulu dan kini mulai dari segi bentuk musikal, dan hubungannya dengan fungsinya sendiri. Antropologi dewasa ini sudah berkembang, peneliti - penelitinya tidak hanya melihat seperti apa fenomena budaya saja tetapi juga menimbang masalah tehnologi dan juga ikut dalam perkembangan manusia yang dinamis. Etnomusikologi sebagai cabang ilmu musikologi, meminjam objek formal antropologi untuk melihat kejadian musik secara lebih mendalam. Searah dengan jalan pembahasan artikel ini, tehnologi juga akan turut serta dibahas dalam pengaruhnya terhadap perubahan Gendang Beleq dulu dan kini.

Abstract

Pengembangan musikalitas melalui bunyi-bunyi alam sangat membantu mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan musikalitas yang dimilikinya, khususnya dalam mengembangkan melodi, irama dan harmoni. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan musikalitas mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Musik melalui bunyi-bunyi alam yang ada di sekitarnya. Bunyi-bunyi alam tersebut terlebih dahulu diobservasi, diidentifikasi, kemudian membuat imitasi berdasarkan unsur-unsur musikalitasnya (melodi, irama, harmoni), memainkan dan mengkreasikannya menjadi satu komposisi musik. Melalui pengembangan musikalitas dengan bunyi-bunyi alam, kemudian mahasiswa mengeluarkan ide-ide kreatifnya dengan mewujudkan bunyi-bunyi yang didengarnya. Kreativitas mahasiswa dalam mengembangkan bunyi-bunyi alam dapat dilihat dari menemukan topik atau gagasan, menemukan suara alam sebagai sumber bunyi, mengkomposisikannya menjadi enak untuk didengar dan diapresiasikan kepada orang lain. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada khazanah ilmu pengetahuan khususnya di bidang kajian Pendidikan musik.

Abstract

The concept of beauty (aesthetic) as a central issue to reveal the meaningfulness of the value of a form of art or artwork, can not be done by generalizing. The emergence of the phenomenon of art with the term Sema in the Sufi order Naqsybandi Haqqani Jakarta can certainly be assumed as a transformation of the values of Tauhid education based on the aesthetic concept of Sufism in the domain of Islam, because the existence of Sufi orders in general only offer spiritual teachings (aims) to achieve purification of Tawheed. This research is included in qualitative paradigm with phenomenology approach. Through this research it is revealed that the love of divinity or platonic love based on Tawheed (esoteric) is the aesthetic concept of the Naqsybandi Sema tariqa Haqqani Jakarta as the manifestation of the consciousness of the perpetrators, which is awakened through spiritual training in the tarekat. Sema in the Naqsybandi Haqqani Order of Jakarta is also known to play the role of educational media in instilling the values of Tawheed through its beautiful symbols (exoteric) and meaningful Ketauhidan.

Abstract

Uilleann Pipes merupakan alat musik khas Irlandia (Irish) yang hampir dekat dengan alat musik Scottish Pipes yang terdapat di Skotlandia. Uillean Pipes adalah alat musik yang sering dipertunjukan secara tunggal (solo), selain itu alat musik ini juga digunakan sebagai alat musik pengiring tari yang termasuk ke dalam jenis Jig. The Gender in The Pratie Hole merupakan salah satu lagu yang lazim dimainkan pada alat musik Uilleann Pipes. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil penelitian mengenai analisis teks dan konteks dari lagu The Gender in The Pratie Hole yang dimainkan melalui alat musik Uilleann Pipes. Penlitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode content analysis (analisis konten) yang bersifat deskriptif. Analisis secara tekstual dilakukan dengan membedah penggunaan ritme, melodi serta ornamentasi yang digunakan dalam lagu The Gender in The Pratie Hole. Selanjutnya analisis kontekstual dilakukan dengan cara mendeskripsikan istilah judul, fungsi dan bentuk dari lagu The Gender in The Pratie Hole. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut maka dapat dilihat secara khusus mengenai ciri khas dan karakteristik pada lagu The Gender in The Pratie Hole yang dimainkan melalui alat musik Uilleann Pipes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengapa ritual bulan suro begitu memiliki makna dan filosopi yang penting pada Suku Jawa dengan mengambil daerah penelitian di Desa Sambirejo Timur Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriftif kualitatif. Penelitian ini memaknai subjek dan objek penelitian sebagai pengganti dari sampel dan populasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan studi pustaka.Teori yang digunakan Peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Religi dan Kebudayaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa tradisi ritual bulan suro pada masyarakat jawa  merupakan suatu upacara adat yang diwariskan secara turun temurun pada masyarakat jawa. Ritual bulan suro ini bertujuan untuk menghindari kesialan, bencana, musibah, malapetaka serta untuk mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan agar mendapatkan keselamatan , rahmat dan meminta ampun atas segala kesalahan yang dilakukan. Pelaksanaan tradisi ritual ini tidak terlepas dari berbagai kegiatan yang dilaksanakan setiap bulan suro. Proses ritual bulan suro dimulai pada pagi hari yaitu kegiatan kenduri dan mengadakan pengajian oleh warga masyarakat Desa Sambirejo Timur, kegiatan malam di isi dengan permainan atau pergelaran wayang semalam suntuk. Dalam pergelaran wayang kulit, semua warga masyarakat yang ada di Desa Sambirejo Timur ikut berpartisipasi dalam acara tersebut.

Abstract

This article reviews the form and function of music at the Ketoprak Dor show that grew and developed in the land of Deli North Sumatra as a culture owned by the Javanese Deli community group. Departing from the phenomenon of the existence of the performance of Ketoprak Dor art in several areas inhabited by the majority of Javanese in the villages around Deli plantations, it led the author to begin to explore the problem of musical elements as one of the most important parts of this performance. Based on the study conducted by the author, it is indicated that the elements that form the Ketoprak Dor show have their own uniqueness, and can be distinguished from similar art in the island of Java. The forming elements of the show are: elements of dance, literature, fashion, stage, theater, motion and dance and elements of music have their own characteristics, and are very different from the ketoprak that is on the island of Java. On this occasion the author only specializes in the discussion of musical elements in the Ketoprak Dor performance art, which is about how the form of music and its function in the Ketoprak Dor performance art.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze, Technique of Singing in Opera. The purpose of this research is to know Technique of Singing. The theory used is vocal technique, sound processing, sound formation, breathing, frasering, head voice, powering, vibrato, interpretation, singing, opera,  aria, The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive method, namely a research method that aims to describe in detail and clearly about a phenomenon that became the focus of research. On the basis of it can be started that the overall appearance of Diana Damrau is interconnected to build on the builder’s point to make the appearance of Diana Damrau towards spectaculer.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out whether the storybook or the Kancil fairy tale influences the imitating behavior of the Sunggal 41 ABA 41 Kindergarten students and sees how storytellers are very influential in conveying the message content of a story. This research method uses descriptive, which is taking a problem or focusing on actual problems as they were at the time the research was conducted. The description in this study was to see the imitating behavior of the Sunggal 41 ABA Kindergarten students. The results of the study found that fairy tales or stories of the Kancil can enrich knowledge by recognizing various types of animals that are used as characters in a story or fairy tale or in increasing children's understanding of good and bad things. Children who tend to not be able to focus on one thing / object in a certain period of time are challenges and homework that the teacher must overcome when telling stories / storytelling. Short time and schedule of storytelling / storytelling activities obtained at school are not enough to-create-imitating-behaviors-of-children.

Abstract

The myths and cultures associated with Mount Lawu. The most mysterious mountain and save a million mysteries in Java. Myths and culture that evolved into a puzzle in the novel Aroma Karsa by Dee Lestari which is interesting to explore more and so real depictions. This study aims to get an overview of the myths and culture of the people on the slopes of Mount Lawu that are in effect. This research is content analysis using a literary anthropology approach. Data sources were from Aroma Karsa's novel by Dee Lestari. The results of this study are depictions of myths and cultures in the form of (1) myths and culture through the location of the place or location, (2) myths and culture through the techno-economic owner's community, (3) myths and culture through the sociology of the owner's community, (4) and myths of culture through cosmology. The depiction of myths and culture has a conservation impact or still preserves the heritage of the ancestors of the community on the slopes of Mount Lawu. Knowing human relationships with other creatures created.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of the University of North Sumatra Consolatio Choir, regarding planning, implementation, and monitoring of evaluations that have been carried out. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach. Data collection is obtained through: interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research informants were the Chair of the Daily Management Board, Conductor, and Members of the USU Consolation Choir. Data analysis was performed using qualitative data analysis and with technical inductive analysis. Qualitative research is basically building theory, so in this study there is a new theory that is built namely "Service Management". Service here means that organizational management does not expect profits, but the organization still exists. USU's Consolatio Choir, an informal organization, from the outset of planning, the organization has presented the organization's vision and mission to prospective members from USU students and alumni, which in its implementation, the organization's mission went well and everything that was done selflessly and feared God . After the evaluation monitoring, there were still a few weaknesses in non-technical management by BPH. Conclusion of research, choirs can be formed from USU students, or can even be formed from any group who wants to sing in a choir.
