Abstract

. Quarter-life crisis adalah perasaan khawatir yang hadir atas ketidakpastian akan kehidupan mendatang yakni seputar hubungan pribadi, sosial, keluarga, pekerjaan,  yang terjadi sekitar usia 20-an. Mahasiswa merupakan individu yang termasuk terkena dampak quarter-life crisis karena berada pada usia dewasa awal atau emerging adulthood. krisis emosional yang dialami mahasiswa dalam jangka waktu panjang karena menerima tantangan quarter-life crisis dapat menyebabkan berbagai dampak negatif terhadap kehidupan , salah satunya stres dan depresi. Islam dalam kitab suci Al-Qur’an memberikan beberapa cara untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri individu dalam rangka menjawab tantangan quarter-life crisis tersebut, yakni dengan mengenal konsep diri, berpikir positif, keyakinan dan tindakan, berserah diri (Tawakal), bersyukur serta evaluasi diri (Nur Huda, 2016). Penelitian ini melibatkan 200 mahasiswa dengan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan skala likert yaitu sekala konsep percaya diri dalam Al-Qur’an (Nur Huda, 2016) dan Skala quarter-life crisis (Christine Hassler,2009). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemahaman terhadap konsep percaya diri dalam Al-Qur’an terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap masalah quarter-life crisis pada mahasiswa sebesar 11.2% (p0.01). Hasil korelasi Pearson menunjukan skor positif 0.335 yang menguatkan hubungan antar variabel sehingga semakin tinggi pemahaman konsep percaya diri dalam Al-Qur’an yang dimiliki, maka semakin tinggi masalah quarter-life crisis pada mahasiswa.

Abstract

Human life can never be separated from the condition of psychological well-being. Every human being strives to create a prosperous life, both in physical, social, and mental conditions so that the quality of his life increases. One of the factors that influence psychological well-being is gratitude. This is because gratitude is able to create a positive outlook on events that occur in life. This study aims to determine the relationship between gratitude and psychological well-being in students who workin college part-time. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between gratitude and psychological well-being in students who study part-time work. The subjects of this research are students who study part-time at the Ushuluddin faculty and theUIN Raden Intan Lampung religious studies class 2017totaling 70 students. Thetechnique used atechnique samplingtotal sampling.   The data collection technique used a gratitude scale of 19 items (ɑ = 0.865) and a psychological well-being scale of 21 items (ɑ = 0.868).The results of the study indicate a relationship between gratitude and psychological well-being in students who workcollege part-time in. The data analysis used was the Pearson product moment correlation. The results showed that the two variables had a significant relationship. rxy = 0.510 with p = 0.000 (p 0.01), this indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between gratitude and psychological well-being in students who studywhile working  part-time  so that the hypothesis is accepted. The higher the gratitude, the higher the resulting psychological well-being. The effective contribution of 26% is influenced by the independent variables in this study and 74% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study is aim to know the relationship between work performance and work satisfaction on special school’s teachers in Samarinda City. The hypothesis of this study is there is a positive correlations between work performance and work satisfaction on special school’s teachers. There are 60 teachers as subjects in this study, those are 16 men and 44 women. This study has used Koopmans’ work performance scale (2014) and Spector’s work safisfaction scale (1985). Result of Spearman correlation test shows that the correlation coefficient obtained by 0.369, with a significance value of 0.002 (p0.05. There is a positive correlation between job satisfaction and work performance on special school’s teachers. Job satisfaction has an effect of 13.6% on performance seen from the coefficient of determination of (r²) = 0.136. The remaining 86.4% is the influence of other factors. Other findings indicate that by gender there was no difference in job satisfaction and performance between male and female respondents. Similarly, there is no difference in the two variables based on years of service. Other psychological factors for the performance of special school teachers still need to be investigated further.Keyword: work performance, work satisfaction, special school’s teachers

Abstract

Online counseling, or cyber counseling, or virtual counseling, is one of the new trends that has emerged since the COVID-19 pandemic. This trend is attached to teenagers aged 17 to 19 years who currently sit in college on average. Living side by side with technology, it is easy for them to keep up with these new developments. However, whether online counseling services, or cyber counseling, or virtual counseling, are able to reduce the most common anxiety symptoms that arise in individual mental health disorders. This type of research is a survey, which involves 172 students from XY University, West Sumatra which are divided into user and non-user groups of online counseling. Descriptive statistical analysis technique was used to see the difference in scores between the two groups. The results showed that the anxiety level in the online counseling user group was higher than the non-user group.Keywords: online counseling, anxiety scores, adolescents

Abstract

Sabar bermakna mencegah, mengekang, atau menahan. Sabar merupakan suatu sikap utama dari perangai kejiwaan yang dapat menahan perilaku tidak baik dan tidak simpati. Sabar merupakan kekuatan jiwa untuk stabilitas dan baiknya orang dalam bertindak. Penelitian ini mengukur 19 item variabel sabar secara unidimensional yang dikonstruk sendiri oleh peneliti. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 103 mahasiswa yang berada pada tahap perkembangan dewasa awal hingga dewasa akhir. Seluruh item dianalisis dengan menggunakan Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). Hasilnya, dari 19 item, 1 item tidak valid sehingga di drop. Artinya, hanya 18 item yang benar-benar mengukur variabel sabar.Keywords: Sabar, Pengukuran, Confirmatory Factor Analysis

Abstract

SRL is an individual process to achieve goals or targets, by managing and improving themselves (Manab 2016). With the support of a good SRL can encourage success that occurs especially for adolescents in the process of growth and development, a good SRL can improve student / teen achievement (Jantz 2011). According to Zimmermen and Pons, SRL has three factors, personal, behavioral, and environmental. One of the main factors of personal factors is the goals. To determine the correlation between the goals of graduating on time and self regulated learning (SRL) among sophomores in medical faculty of Malahayati University.A quantitative research with analytic design and cross sectional design and samples were collected by using accidental sampling. Data were evaluated with SPSS. The total sample of 122 students with moderate on-time graduation goals were 116 respondents (95.1%) . The students with high SRL were 62 respondents (50.8%). Statistical analysis using the Pearson test showed a p-value of 0.018 with a correlation test of +0.214. The goals of graduating on time with self-regulated learning in sophomores of Medical Faculty of Malahayati University are correlated. With low correlation power and positive correlation direction, the higher the goal of graduating on time, the higher the SRL, the goal of graduating on time affects the SRL by 4, 6%.

Abstract

Confidence is a condition about a person's beliefs that look at him positively and can reach something he wants without any doubt. This study aims to determine the relationship between permissive parenting with adolescent self confidence in SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between permissive parenting with adolescent self confidence in SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung. The subjects of this study were adolescents of class VIII at SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2019/2020, taken using a purposive sampling technique. This study uses a data collection method in the form of a psychological scale, namely a confidence scale of 31 items (α = 0.889) and a permissive parenting scale of 30 items (0.929). The collected data were analyzed using the product moment analysis technique from Karl Pearson assisted with SPSS 22.0 for windows. The results of data analysis showed that rxy = 0,600 with p = 0,000 (p 0.01). This shows that there is a very significant relationship between permissive parenting with adolescent self-confidence, so that the hypothesis is accepted. These results make an effective contribution of 0.360 or 36%. In other words, the permissive parenting variable contributed 36% effectiveness to the variable confidence.Keywords: Self Confidence, and Permissive Parenting

Abstract

Resilience is the ability of a person or individual to rise from the problems being faced. Resilience is very important to be owned by every individual because if an individual does not have resilience, then the individual will be difficult to rise from adversity due to the problems faced. This study aims to determine the relationship between self efficacy and emotion regulation with resilience in 58 adolescents living in Mahmudah orphanage in Bandar Lampung. The sampling technique used is total sampling and then analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that there is a relationship between self efficacy and emotion regulation with resilience in adolescents living in orphanages with correlation coefficients R = 0.645 and F = 19.634 with p = 0,000. Then, there is a relationship between self efficacy with resilience in adolescents living in orphanages, the results of the analysis obtained are the value of rx1y = 0.373 with p = 0,000. Furthermore, there is a relationship between emotional regulation with resilience in teens living in orphanages, the results of the analysis obtained are the value of rx2y = 0.601 with a value of p = 0.002.

Abstract

Psychological Well-being adalah keadaan bahagia, kepuasan hati yang menyenangkan yang timbul bila kebutuhan dan harapan tertentu individu terpenuhi. Kebutuhan dan harapan tersebut dapat terpenuhi apabila seseorang mendapatkan dukungan dari lingkungan sekitarnya dan menanamkan rasa syukur terhadap dirinya sehingga kondisi psychological well-being dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan rasa syukur dengan psychological well-being pada PNS menjelang masa pensiun sejumlah 41 subjek. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu sampling total kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan rasa syukur dengan psychological well-being pada PNS menjelang masa pensiun dengan koefisien korelasi (R)=0,756 dan F=25,309 dengan p=0,000. Penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan psychological well-being pada PNS menjelang masa pensiun, hasil analisis yang diperoleh yaitu nilai rx1y=0,597 dengan p=0,000. Selanjutnya, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara rasa syukur dengan psychological well-being pada PNS menjelang masa pensiun yang diperoleh dari hasil perhitungan dengan nilai rx2y=0,656 dengan p=0,000.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the relationship of empathy and conflict behavior in early adolescents who have dual-career parents. There were two instruments: The Basic Empathy Scale (BES) by Jolliffe and Farrington (2006 and Conflict Behavior Questionnaire (CBQ) by Robin Foster (1989). A total respondents of this study were 252 adolescents (N male = 95; N female = 157) obtained online through self-selected polls. By the Spearman's Product Moment correlation analysis, the results showed that there was a significant negative between empathy and conflict behavior in early adolescents with dual-career parents (r = -0,277 p 0.05). The results also showed that there were significant differences in conflict behavior between ages 13 years to 16 years, where the age of 14 years was higher (M = 152.83) in experiencing conflict behavior compared to other ages. The implication of this research highlighted the importance of developing empathy in adolescents as an effort to minimize conflict with parents.
