Abstract

The globalization has brought about changes in human life. These changes create opportunities and challenges, both in education, politics, religion and even socio-culture. To confront these opportunities and challenges humans are required to increase his resources. Education is an appropriate means, in addition to producing a superior human, kratif, tenacious, diligent, also sustained by the value of faith.

Abstract

AbstractThis research starts from the view that education is a need of humanbeing along their life,individually, socially, and nationally. good quality ofeducation will build good individual character,so it will build good societycharacter and it will build good nation character.school as a formalinstantion is hoped to be capable of planing and developing learningproces so that condusive learning situation will happen for students toreach the purpose of education.it is to develope all students’s potention,build character and build good personality of human beings. Thisresearch used a qualitative approach, especially case study. The datawere taken by using observation, interview, and documentation. Thosedata are analyzed by using qualitative interpretative which is started bydata reduction, data and drawing conclusion. Through this approach, thewriter found some implementation of education character in MTsN PlandiJombang. Among others are: (1) Creating a conducive schoolenvironment; (2) The implementation of education character curriculum;(3) Creating an integrative character curriculum; (4) Classroommanagement; (5) Outside the classroom management. Besides, it alsodiscusses about the implementation of character education in creatingstudents’ nobility in MTsN Plandi Jombang. They are: (1) Intensive AlQur’an training; (2) Jama’ah prayer custom.Keywords: character education implementation, creatingstudents’ nobility

Abstract

The essence of Islam concept is to teach all aspects of the life, both inrelation with the Divinity (hablum minallah) and in relationship formbetween human being (hablumminannaas). These occured in any fieldsuch as law, education, society, politic, economie, inherit, health, trade,etc. The moslem intelectuals agree that the Islam education aim is toestablish a good behavaviour based on the holly book Al Qur’an, andProphetic practice or Sunnah as it is called in Arabic. According to thehistory, in moslem society, known two education systems based on thedifference philosophy, those were traditional and modern education. Thefirts one aplied at pesantren institution which the learning system wasabsolutly held the holly book, as revealed knowledge of Allah, andprophetic practice, while the second one has realized in public schoolwhich the learning system used the valid curriculum made by theauthority (state) through the office of minitry of education. The twosystems above were very different both in learning process and schoolaraiming as output. As we know, the final aim of education is to establishthe humans who possess the character based on religion (Iman andtaqwa), be able to take advantage their potential, to integrate theintelegence and feelling and be a creative human. He (Allah) havecommanded us in His Holly Qur’an, to always make the observation andto research the signs of kauniyyah,in the other word, exploring naturalresource by using human ressource.

Abstract

This article departs from the fact that the law in Indonesia is buried. Although the education is not the main factor which is caused to the bad of law, but the Islam education is play a siginifacant role for the law. It is because Islamic education is ‘the main school’ for law enforcer. In term of law, the knowledge of morality, justice, liberty and truth must be the most important subject in order to product law enforcer with their morality. In fact, those values is abused. Therefore, Islamic education as one of the main subject in universities have to play an important role with the good construction of knowledge. It is because Islamic education will shape the worldview of students in their live. When their worldview is problematic, we can not expect litigious society. This article reveals that the concept of Islamic education which is based on al-Qur’an and the Sunnah has close link with law. It is unfortunate if the concept of Islamic education which is taught in universities was wrong so as produce people who do not care laws.

Abstract

The evidence of radicalism has been prevalent in society and has even infiltrated in formal or non-formal education institutions, their way of spreading radicalism through religious teachers, through units of extracurricular activities of religion or called spiritually as well as through books, guidebook. Therefore, to prevent or prevent the spread of radical understanding among the teachers of Islamic Education has a very strategic tool. In this discussion was raised about the idea of radicalism and what steps should be done by teachers of Islamic Education in facing and or preventing the idea of radicalism.

Abstract

This research is done caused by the emergence of various environmental damage resulted from human actions in managing it. In the Qur'an there are many verses that explain about environmental education, one of which is the surah of Al-A'raf verses 56-58. Furthermore, Islamic education is an alternative in delivering environmental education. This research is to know: 1) environmental education values contained in the surah of Al-A'raf verses 56-58 tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab; 2) Implementation of the environmental education values contained in Surah Al-A'raf verses 56-58 Tafsir Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab in Islamic education. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach. The type of research is library research with data collection technique used in this research is documentary technique, namely by editing, presenting data, and drawing conclusion. Then the analysis using the content method is to analyze the contents, messages, or communication of the surah Al-A'raf verses 56-58 in the interpretation of Al-Misbah by M. Quraish Shihab on the value of environmental education and its implementation in Islamic education.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schoolas one of the Islamic educational institutions, is recognized to have a big enough share in raising and developing the world of education. Islamic boarding schoolis also believed to be an alternative to solving various educational problems that occur at this time. Islamic boarding schoolis the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesian. Islamic boarding schoolexisting now in general has undergone a change from the impact of modernization. With the increasing variety of new learning resources, and the higher communication dynamics between theislamic boarding school system and other systems, students can learn from many sources. It also gave birth to a variety of models boarding school. The models are the answer of each boarding school to the demands of the modern era that can not be avoided. One of the changes in the management of Islamic boarding school is the emergence of a modern boarding school, which combines elements of traditional Islamic education that are synonymous with classical books with modern Islamic education using modern systems and methods. Students are taught in foreign languages (Arabic and English) which allows to access the reading of general books are quite extensive including foreign literature. The combination of these two educational systems gave birth to a comprehensive educational system, not only emphasizing mastery over the classical Islamic scientific treasures but also having the integrity of modern science.

Abstract

In this digital era the learning process undergoes significant changes, from teacher's approach to students to the use of media in learning. Islamic Education Teachers need to improve their competence because of the stigma that teachers of Islamic Education are said to be "ancient teachers" who have difficulty following the development of information and technology world in learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the competence of teachers of Islamic Education in the digital era. Therefore, in this study, it is discussed clearly about the competence of teachers, milenia students, and learning in the digital era and its challenges, as well as the strategy of Islamic Education teachers in overcoming the challenges of learning in the digital age. The method used is the review literature of several journals and related references to illustrate how it should be a teacher in the digital age. In the context of teachers in the digital age, they should be able to use learning approaches that are based on information and communication technology so that learners are easier to follow because the information they get is very fast from cyberspace. The conclusion is that teachers of Islamic Education are highly demanded to develop their ability in using learning media based on technology and information in learning process and no longer require students to cling to textbooks only. So that the learning process more achieve the target and provide a broad space to learners to develop the creativity of learning

Abstract

This study proves that education funding that utilizes various existing financial sources. This study agrees with Umi Zulfa (Effective Madrasah Development Strategy through the Development of a Management Model for Madrasah Education Financing Based on Ziswa-School Retribution (Study in MI Ya Bakii Karangjengkol Kesugihan Cilacap, 2016) namely the management of education funding through the Ziswa model as a rich, abundant education fund and sustainable madrasas that can be used to improve the quality of education This research uses qualitative descriptive methods.
