Abstract

In this article is developed a data envelopment analysis (DEA) model to solve a budget allocation problem to the decision-making units (DMU's) in an organisation. The allocation is depend on multi-input/output. To develop the model is used some of numerical examples. The results of calculation by DEA model are an optimum budget allocation in lower and upper bound and a fix value between them Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Dalam artikel ini dikembangkan sebuah model data envelopment analysis (DEA) untuk memecahkan masalah pengalokasian anggaran ke masing-masing unit pengambil keputusan (UPK) dalam sebuah organisasi, yang mempertimbangkan multi-input/output. Dalam mengembangkan model, dilakukan dengan beberapa contoh numeris. Hasil perhitungan dengan model DEA ini, didapatkan alokasi anggaran optimal yang berupa batas bawah dan atas serta nilai alokasi diantara kedua nilai tersebut. Kata kunci : data envelopment analysis, efisiensi, alokasi anggaran.

Abstract

This paper discusses a jobs scheduling on a single machine to minimize variance of job completion time. The objective is especially important in situations where it is desirable to provide customers or jobs with approximately the same treatment. In this case, data are collected from P.T. 'XYZ'. The focus of discussion is LB/KB Departement (Leather Board/Carton Board) with carton board's production line, which produces carton board. Carton board's size is 150 x 110 cm and its thickness from 0,6 mm to 2,5 mm. In this paper a comparison analysis, the deviation of the objective value given by a heuristic (Vh) method from the objective value given by P.T. 'XYZ' (Vp), is made. The percentage of deviation Vh from Vp is 50,36 %, which shows that the performance of heuristic is better, that is variance of job completion time by heuristic method smaller than by P.T. 'XYZ'. Besides the above discussion, the weakness dan superiority of heuristic are analyzed too. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Makalah ini membahas penjadwalan jobs pada single machine dengan tujuan meminimumkan varians waktu penyelesaian job, yaitu untuk memberikan konsumen atau jobs kurang lebih perlakuan yang sama. Data yang diambil dalam pembahasan ini berasal dari perusahaan P.T. 'XYZ', di mana departemen yang menjadi fokus pembahasan adalah Departemen LB/KB (Leather Board/Karton Board) dengan lintasan produksi karton board yang menghasilkan produk carton board ukuran 150 x 110 cm, dengan ketebalan 0,6 mm sampai dengan 2,5 mm. Dalam makalah ini dilakukan analisis perbandingan jadwal jobs pada proses produksi di perusahaan yang telah ada dengan jadwal jobs menggunakan metode heuristic, yaitu menggunakan persentase penyimpangan Vh (varians waktu penyelesaian jobs metode heuristic) dari Vp (varians waktu penyelesaian jobs perusahaan). Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa persentase penyimpangan Vh dari Vp sebesar 50,36%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa performance metode heuristic lebih baik, yaitu varians waktu penyelesaian jobs-nya lebih kecil daripada metode perusahaan. Selain itu, dalam makalah juga dianalisis kelemahan dan keunggulan metode heuristic yang digunakan dalam penjadwalan pada single machine. Kata kunci : penjadwalan single-machine, varians waktu penyelesaian, prosedur heuristic.

Abstract

Fiber glass products are widely used in the industry. High quality fiberglass product requires a composition and to obtain the optimal composition, an experiment needs to be done. In this project, experimental designs in 2k-p fractional factorial design and Taguchi method were carried out to obtain the optimal composition. According to the impact test results based on the model by the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) for fiber glass, it was found that the 2k-p fractional factorial design method and Taguchi methods are the same. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Produk fiber glass banyak digunakan di dunia industri saat ini. Produk fiber glass berkualitas tinggi dibutuhkan suatu komposisi, dimana untuk komposisi yang tepat diperlukan eksperimen. Desain eksperimen 2k-p fractional factorial design dengan metode Taguchi telah digunakan untuk mendapatkan komposisi yang optimal. Hasil pengujian kekuatan impak dengan bentuk dan pengujian sesuai JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) pada fiber glass didapatkan bahwa metode 2k-p fractional factorial design dengan metode Taguchi tidak berbeda. Abstract

The decisions to choose appropriate tools for solving industrial problems are not just tools that achieve optimal solution only but it should consider computation time too. One of industrial problems that still difficult to achieve both criteria is scheduling problem. This paper discuss comparison between mixed integer programming which result optimal solution and heuristic method to solve job shop scheduling problem with separable sequence-dependent setup. The problems are generated and the result shows that the heuristic methods still cannot satisfy optimal solution.

Abstract

The effectivity improvement of production facility in factory is not only on facility manitenance but also on human resources. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) gives an optimal solution to effectivity improvement. A case study of TPM implementation have done in non sewing department of PT Kerta Rajasa Raya. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Peningkatan efektivitas dari fasilitas produksi di suatu perusahaan bukan hanya terbatas pada perawatan fasilitas kerja saja tetapi juga sumber daya manusia. Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) memberikan suatu solusi optimal terhadap peningkatan efektivitas dengan melibatkan semua sumber daya manusia yang bertanggung jawab terhadap fasilitas produksi. Suatu studi kasus terhadap pengimplementasian TPM dilakukan di departemen non jahit PT. Kerta Rajasa Raya. Kata kunci : TPM, MTTF, Autonomous Maintenance.
