Abstract

Coordination is important in industry, so this research try to observe coordination problem which appear at PT'X" and then give alternative of coordination system. The problem that is identified in this research are excess volume of inventory, bullwhip effect, and length of cash to cash cycle. Selling coordination system is proposed as information share from end customer to every stage of supply chain without distortion by forecasting process. Production coordination system is proposed as balancing of production output with actual demand to reduce inventory level without decrease customer servive level, and reduce risk of unsold product. Some pay of coordination systems is proposed by considering effect of cash to cash cycle time, free cash of capital, and product cycle at supply chain. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Koordinasi merupakan hal yang penting dalam suatu industri, oleh karena itu penelitian ini mencoba melihat permasalahan yang muncul dalam hal koordinasi pada PT 'X' dan kemudian memberikan alternatif sistem koordinasi. Permasalahan yang teridentifikasi antara lain tingginya tingkat inventory, variabilitas permintaan yang tinggi (bullwhip effect) dan cash to cash cycle time yang panjang dari sistem pembayaran. Bentuk koordinasi penjualan yang diperlukan adalah penyaluran informasi aktual dari permintaan konsumen akhir pada setiap tahapan di dalam supply chain tanpa adanya distorsi akibat proses peramalan. Koordinasi pada produksi yang diperlukan adalah penyesuaian output produksi dengan kebutuhan aktual pasar untuk mengurangi tingkat inventory tanpa mengurangi service level konsumen dan mengurangi risiko produk yang tidak terjual. Beberapa bentuk koordinasi pada sistem pembayaran diusulkan dengan mempertimbangkan pengaruh cash to cash cycle time, free cash of capital, dan kecepatan aliran produk pada supply chain. Kata kunci: supply chain, inventory, bullwhip effect, koordinasi sistem produksi, penjualan dan pembayaran.

Abstract

This study examines the barriers faced by Indonesian manufacturing organizations in the implementation of TQM. Out of a total sample size of 364 selected organizations identified for a multi-response survey, 78 organizations responded. The analysis identified 11 pertinent factors acting as barriers that are most frequently faced by the local organizations. These are issues related to human resource, management, attitude towards quality, organizational culture, interdepartmental relation, material, machine and equipment, information, method and training.

Abstract

The value of an information is more valuable than the value of an investment. To make in information needs a system that can produce an accurate & priceless information. Management Information System needs to be defined more details to get a specific information, especially for production activity (manufacturing). Manufacture Information System can support the whole manufacture activity to make a good product in means of time, cost and also quality. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Nilai sebuah informasi lebih berharga daripada nilai investasi. Oleh karena itu, dalam membuat sebuah informasi diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat membuat sebuah informasi yang tepat dan akurat. Sistem Informasi Manajemen perlu didefinisikan lebih detail untuk mendapatkan informasi yang lebih spesifik, khususnya untuk kegiatan produksi (manufaktur). Sistem Informasi Manufaktur dapat mendukung kegiatan manufaktur secara keseluruhan untuk menghasilkan produk yang baik dari segi waktu, biaya dan kualitas. Abstract

This research gives an alternative to build production schedule using Evolutionary Algorithm. The objective function is minimizing production makespan. Shortest Processing Time (SPT) and Longest Processing Time (LPT) methods are used as initial solution. The algorithm is implemented on house ware factory and the result show the final solution has makespan 26,74 % less than initial solution. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian ini memberikan alternatif dalam menyusun suatu jadwal produksi dengan menggunakan Evolutionary Algorithm. Fungsi tujuan yang akan dicapai adalah meminimumkan makespan produksi. Metode Shortest Processing Time (SPT) dan Longest Processing Time (LPT) digunakan sebagai solusi awal. Algoritma ini kemudian diterapkan pada pabrik peralatan rumah tangga dan solusi akhir menunjukan Evolutionary Algorithm memberikan makespan 26.74% lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan solusi awal. Kata kunci: Evolutionary Algorithm, Penjadwalan.

Abstract

We considered the nonparametric regression model : Zj = X(tj) + ej, j = 1,2,…,n, where X(tj) is the regression curve. The random error ej are independently distributed normal with a zero mean and a variance s2/bj, bj > 0. The estimation of X obtained by minimizing a Weighted Least Square. The solution of this optimation is a Weighted Spline Polynomial. Further, we give an application of weigted spline estimator in nonparametric regression. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Diberikan model regresi nonparametrik : Zj = X(tj) + ej, j = 1,2,…,n, dengan X (tj) kurva regresi dan ej sesatan random yang diasumsikan berdistribusi normal dengan mean nol dan variansi s2/bj, bj > 0. Estimasi kurva regresi X yang meminimumkan suatu Penalized Least Square Terbobot, merupakan estimator Polinomial Spline Natural Terbobot. Selanjutnya diberikan suatu aplikasi estimator spline terbobot dalam regresi nonparametrik. Kata kunci: Spline terbobot, Regresi nonparametrik, Penalized Least Square.

This research is done to measure and analyse of "X" Corporatio's performance used Balanced Scorecard method. This research is done because the measurement system that used for this time is just measure the performance of financial perpective Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengukur dan menganalisa kinerja di PT."X" dengan menggunakan metode Balanced Scorecard. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena sistem pengukuran yang dipakai selama ini hanya mengukur kinerja dari financial perspective. Kata kunci: Pengukuran dan analisa kinerja, Balanced Scorecard.
