Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design Mathematical models that can determine the selling volume as an alternative to improve the markup percentage. Mathematical models was designed with double regression statistic. Selling volume is a function of markup, market condition, and substitute condition variables. The designed Mathematical model has fulfilled by the test of: error upon assumption, accurate model, validation model, and multi collinear problem. The Mathematical model has applied in application program with expectation that the application program can give: (1) alternative to decide percentage markup for user, (2) Illustration of gross profit estimation that will be achieve for selected percentage markup, (3) Illustration of estimation percentage of the units sold that will be achieve for selected percentage markup, and (4) Illustration of total net income before tax will get for specific period. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang model Matematis guna menetapkan volume penjualan, sebagai alternatif untuk menentukan persentase markup harga jual produk. Model Matematis dirancang menggunakan Statistik Regresi Berganda. Volume penjualan merupakan fungsi dari variabel markup, kondisi pasar, dan kondisi pengganti. Model Matematis yang dirancang sudah memenuhi uji: asumsi atas error, akurasi model, validasi model, dan masalah multikolinearitas. Rancangan model Matematis tersebut diterapkan dalam program aplikasi dengan harapan dapat memberi: (1) alternatif bagi pengguna mengenai berapa besar markup yang sebaiknya ditetapkan, (2) gambaran perkiraan laba kotor yang akan diperoleh setiap pemilihan markup, (3) gambaran perkiraan persentase unit yang terjual setiap pemilihan markup, dan (4) gambaran total laba kotor sebelum pajak yang dapat diperoleh pada periode yang bersangkutan. Kata kunci: model Matematis, aplikasi program, volume penjualan, markup, laba kotor.

Abstract

Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM) is a type of artificial neural network. It can be viewed as a weighted directed graph in which vertices represent concepts and edges represent causal links between them. An FCM can be used as an intelligent decision support system (DSS) tool. It works by representing important issues in a given situation and their causal relationships. The evolution of a dynamic system with time can be simulated and the behavior of the systems can be predicted and explained using an FCM. In this case FCM is used to ditermine the policy to support the academic spin off. Simulation brings forth some conclusions and the best policy can be chosen.

Abstract

Some people made a wrong concept about Business Process Reengineering (BPR). Some were misunderstanding about the BPR term. In other way, so many researches were introduced to describe a better definition about BPR. The thinking about concepts, causes, and effect of BPR will make a new perception about the term of BPR itself as a better methodology instead of the other Quality Management Methodology such as Total Quality Management (TQM), Just In Time (JIT), etc. This paper will mention the context of BPR in some of case study's journal.

Abstract

A quality management recently has been the concepts that using a great mass of information flow. The unique function of information in quality management has become the driver of this study. There is a need of building the model for quality management information system before designing the information system. This paper will show two points that important for the information system. The points, database model and expert system, will be explained as the part of the information system for quality management.

Abstract

The paper discusses the decision making problem for worker selection. To solved this problem is applied the Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process, development of the ordinary Analytical Hierarchy Process which created to handle the subjectivity of multi-criteria. The best choice by Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process showed that subjectivities criteria have been included comparing by the ordinary Analytical Hierarchy Process. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Makalah ini membahas mengenai masalah pengambilan keputusan untuk memilih alternatif karyawan terbaik. Untuk memecahkan masalah ini digunakan Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process, pengembangan Analytical Hierarchy Process konvensional yang dirancang untuk menangani permasalahan yang kriteria-kriterianya lebih banyak bersifat subjektif. Pilihan karyawan terbaik dengan Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process menunjukkan bahwa subjektifitas kriteria sangat diperhatikan dibandingkan dengan menggunakan Analytical Hierarchy Process konvensional. Kata kunci: Analytical Hierarchy Process, Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to give direction to the three main economic players (industry, government and academician) in determining their strategic orientation in technology development. The model will be built in interactive framework where in making decision each player considers other possible strategic choices. A three-dimension game theory combined with an interactive decision structural model of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) will be used to find the solution. The results reveal that collaboration strategy give the highest outcome for the three players. It recommends industry and academician to make collaboration in undertaking innovation while the government should let an independent organization to manage technology development.
