Abstract

We enhanced DFSS Characterize and Optimize Phases to deal with multiple and functional response optimization. The enhancement basically starts with a development of functional meta-models of CAE outputs that are fast-to-compute and accurate enough within a certain design space. Having developed the multiple and functional meta-models, the influence of design variables to the functional responses are then obtained via visualization and sensitivity analysis based on Sobol's index. Multi-objective optimization is finally applied to search for design variable settings that give optimal functional responses. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Di artikel ini kita memperkaya fase-fase Characterize and Optimize dari design for six sigma (DFSS) methodology untuk bisa menyelesaikan rekayasa produk dan proses kompleks yang mengandung banyak respons fungsional. Pemerkayaan dimulai dengan pembangunan meta-model fungsional dari keluaran computer aided engineering (CAE) yang diperoleh lewat rancangan eksperimental. Kemudian, dilanjutkan dengan pembangunan sebuah algoritma untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat pengaruh dari variabel-variable rancangan ke respons fungsional secara visual maupun analitis. Akhirnya, optimasi multi obyektif diterapkan untuk mencari nilai-nilai variabel design yang mampu memberikan respons fungsional secara optimal dan tangguh. Kata-kunci: perancangan berbasis komputer, response fungsional.

Abstract

The future industry is the one who can manage the information system. Today, communication technology and distributed system computerization already have the ability to implement system that able to exchange and share information between different users. Product Data Management (PDM) is an up-to-date and excellent method on managing the exchange and share of information. PDM is able to integrate and manage data analyzing process and documentation of the related product component physically. By adjusting the CAD/CAM on certain condition, the PDM will function maximally by using the information based on STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product Data model). This article will explain the relationship between PDM system and CAD/CAM on industry. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Sistem informasi merupakan ujung tombak sebuah perusahaan yang unggul di masa depan. Komputerisasi dengan sistem yang terdistribusi dan teknologi komunikasi saat ini memiliki kemampuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem yang dapat menukar dan men-share informasi antar user yang berbeda. Teknologi yang mendapat cukup perhatian luas dalam hal pertukaran dan sharing informasi ini adalah Product Data Management (PDM). PDM dapat mengintegrasikan dan mengatur proses pengolahan data dan dokumen teknik yang berhubungan dengan komponen fisik produk yang bersangkutan. PDM akan berfungsi maksimal apabila kesesuaian dengan CAD/CAM diatur sedemikian rupa, dihubungkan dengan informasi berbasiskan STEP (Standard for the Exchange of Product Data model). Artikel ini akan menjelaskan hubungan antara sistem PDM dengan CAD/CAM dalam industri. Kata kunci: PDM, Manajemen Data, CAD/CAM, STEP.

Abstract

This article described a result of research design of performance measurement system in hotel business with Performance Prism Model. As long as, performance measurement system at hotel X not yet representatived organization performance according to comprehensif and integrated. Because of needed redesign performance measurement system with new model. From the objective condition of hotel X, Performance Prism model more representative than others. The result of design described that stakeholder in hotel X such as: customer, employee, supplier, owner and investor, and regulator and community. From the performance measurement system design are obtained 36 types Key Performance Indicator (KPI) such as: 6 KPI of customer, 9 KPI of staff manajerial, 9 KPI of staff operational, 4 KPI of supplier, 3 KPI of investor, and 5 KPI of regulator & community. Result of implementation performance measurement system with scoring system indicates that the amount of scor current performance indicator is 50,75%. Result of measurement can be based management act evaluation and choice planning improvement organization and all Stakeholder requirements must be request. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Artikel ini menguraikan hasil penelitian perancangan sistem pengukuran kinerja pada sebuah perusahaan dalam bisnis hotel dengan model Performance Prism. Selama ini, sistem pengukuran kinerja di Hotel X belum merepresentasikan kinerja organisasi secara komprehensif dan integratif. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan perancangan kembali sistem pengukuran kinerjanya. Dari kondisi objektif hotel X, model yang tepat digunakan adalah model Performance Prism dibanding model lain. Hasil rancangan menunjukkan bahwa stakeholder hotel X meliputi: konsumen, tenaga kerja, supplier, pemilik/investor, serta pemerintah dan masyarakat sekitar lingkungan hotel. Sistem pengukuran kinerja memuat 36 KPI yang meliputi 6 KPI konsumen, 9 KPI staff manajerial, 9 KPI staff operasional, 4 KPI supplier, 3 KPI pemilik/investor, serta 5 KPI pemerintah dan masyarakat di sekitar lingkungan hotel. Dari hasil implementasi sistem pengukuran kinerja dengan proses scoring system menggunakan metode OMAX menunjukkan nilai current performance indicator yang telah dicapai oleh hotel X adalah sebesar 50,75%. Hasil pengukuran menjadi landasan pihak manajemen mengevaluasi dan menentukan rencana kerja perbaikan sehingga harapan dari semua stakeholder dapat terpenuhi Kata kunci: Pengukuran Kinerja, Performance Prism, Hotel.

Abstract

Surveying the differences of importance level of service variables is a must for service providers. The ten service variables are tangible, reliability, responsiveness, competence, courtesy, credibility, security, access, communication, and understanding the customer. The categories of service providers to be compared are recreative (represented by supermarket and restaurant) and non recreative (represented by hospital and education/university) characteristics. The result shows there are no differences among recreative and non recreative service providers. But there are some differences among each service providers, because of unique characteristics of each service provider. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Diduga ada perbedaan tingkat kepentingan variabel layanan pada jasa yang bersifat rekreatif (supermarket, restoran) dan non rekreatif (rumah sakit, pendidikan/perguruan tinggi). Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan tingkat kepentingan variabel-variabel layanan pada bidang-bidang jasa tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat sepuluh variabel layanan yang akan disoroti, yaitu tangible, reliability, responsiveness, competence, courtesy, credibility, security, access, communication, dan understanding the customer. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan tidak ada beda tingkat kepentingan variabel layanan antara jasa rekreatif dan non rekreatif. Namun terdapat perbedaan tingkat kepentingan pada masing-masing jasa, karena adanya perbedaan karakteristik jasa. Kata kunci: Servqual, tingkat kepentingan.

Abstract

The population of green consumer have been increasing enormously over last few decades. Hence, many managers prefer to reduce or to avoid environmental impact that may arise from their industrial activity, including product design and development. Regarding that phenomenon, this paper describes the Green Quality Function Deployment (QFD) II method that is utilized to evaluate the concept of lamp. The Green QFD II integrates quality, environmental, and cost aspects into Concept Comparison House (CCH). Weight of each aspects has been determined by utilizing the Analitic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The best product and it characteristics are presented at the las section of this paper. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Semakin berkembangnya green consumer menyebabkan banyak industri yang mulai memikirkan masalah lingkungan dalam setiap aktifitasnya, seperti halnya dalam proses perancangan dan pengembangan produk. Pada artikel ini akan dibahas metode Green Quality Function Deployment (QFD) II yang diterapkan untuk mengevaluasi konsep produk lampu. Metode ini tidak hanya mempertimbangkan aspek kualitas tetapi juga memperhatikan aspek lingkungan dan biaya ke dalam matriks-matriksnya. Ketiga aspek tersebut masing-masing dijabarkan dalam Quality House, Green House, dan Cost House. Untuk memberi bobot pada tiap aspek, pada penelitian ini digunakan metode Analitic Hierarchy Process. Pada Green QFD II ini, untuk mengevaluasi konsep produk digunakan matriks Concept Comparison House (CCH) yang mampu mengintegrasikan aspek kualitas, lingkungan, dan biaya. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah diperoleh konsep lampu terbaik dan karakteristik lampu yang berkualitas, ramah lingkungan, dan biaya rendah. Abstract

The research aimed at getting ingredient composition of soy sauces that preferred by consumers, by means of Taguchi method. The first organoleptik test was carried out to find out consumers' responses to tastes, colors, and thickness of X soy sauces relative to other soy sauces. The results were applied as a reference in pre-experiment. Experiment results indicated that soy sauce whose composition was 23332233 was the most preferable soy sauce by consumers. The proposed' soy sauce was subject to final organoleptik test to find out consumer preference and position of the proposed' soy sauces. The results indicated that 65.4% of respondents liked the proposed' soy sauces. Tastes and thickness of the proposed' soy sauces have been more preferable by consumers relative to other soy sauces. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan komposisi bahan baku kecap yang disukai konsumen, dengan menggunakan metode Taguchi. Uji organoleptik pertama dilakukan untuk mengetahui respon konsumen terhadap rasa, warna dan kekentalan kecap X terhadap kecap pesaing. Hasilnya digunakan sebagai acuan pre eksperimen. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa kecap dengan komposisi 23332233, paling disukai konsumen. Kecap usulan diuji organoleptik akhir untuk mengetahui kesukaan konsumen dan posisi kecap usulan terhadap kecap pesaing. Hasilnya, 65,4% responden menyukai kecap usulan. Untuk rasa dan kekentalan, kecap usulan lebih disukai daripada kecap pesaing. Kata kunci: Taguchi, Rasa, Warna, Kekentalan, Organoleptik

Abstract

Aplication of Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) technology to provide the data information, especially at manufacture the warehouse, it can not be done quickly, exactly (real-time) and efficient because the product write system and product data entry is still done manually to the ERP system. This conditions effect to the product first in first out (FIFO) system that does not well, and there is a relatively high of employees. To solve the weakness that happened in ERP technology implementation, it must be done integration with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. This integration produce lowering activity at warehouse become 50%. This activities lowering provide the velocity, data exactly, and also employee efficiency. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Aplikasi teknologi Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) dalam menyampaikan informasi data, khususnya pada gudang barang jadi perusahaan tidak dapat dilakukan dengan cepat, tepat (real-time) dan efisien karena sistem pencatatan produk masih dilakukan secara manual serta memasukkan data produk juga dilakukan secara manual ke sistem ERP. Pemasukan dan pencatatan data yang masih manual berdampak terhadap sistem first in first out (FIFO) produk yang tidak terlaksana dengan baik, dan tenaga kerja yang digunakan relatif banyak. Untuk mengatasi kelemahan yang terjadi pada penerapan teknologi ERP tersebut, maka dilakukan integrasi dengan teknologi Radio Frequency Identification (RFId). Dalam penelitian pada sebuah gudang barang jadi di suatu perusahaan furniture, maka integrasi tersebut menghasilkan pengurangan aktivitas sebesar 50%. Pengurangan aktivitas ini menghasilkan kecepatan, ketepatan data serta efisiensi tenaga kerja. Kata kunci: ERP, RFId, FIFO.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of studies an Available to Promise (ATP) system by looking beyond what traditionally highlighted in literature concerning Supply Chain. Advanced ATP systems are implemented in practice depends on the company's strategy. However, The performance measures of ATP system become very important and more complex in order to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of ATP system in a supply chain. This paper concludes seven factors influence ATP system in a supply chain.
