Abstract

Coordination is important in industry, so this research try to observe coordination problem which appear at PT'X" and then give alternative of coordination system. The problem that is identified in this research are excess volume of inventory, bullwhip effect, and length of cash to cash cycle. Selling coordination system is proposed as information share from end customer to every stage of supply chain without distortion by forecasting process. Production coordination system is proposed as balancing of production output with actual demand to reduce inventory level without decrease customer servive level, and reduce risk of unsold product. Some pay of coordination systems is proposed by considering effect of cash to cash cycle time, free cash of capital, and product cycle at supply chain. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Koordinasi merupakan hal yang penting dalam suatu industri, oleh karena itu penelitian ini mencoba melihat permasalahan yang muncul dalam hal koordinasi pada PT 'X' dan kemudian memberikan alternatif sistem koordinasi. Permasalahan yang teridentifikasi antara lain tingginya tingkat inventory, variabilitas permintaan yang tinggi (bullwhip effect) dan cash to cash cycle time yang panjang dari sistem pembayaran. Bentuk koordinasi penjualan yang diperlukan adalah penyaluran informasi aktual dari permintaan konsumen akhir pada setiap tahapan di dalam supply chain tanpa adanya distorsi akibat proses peramalan. Koordinasi pada produksi yang diperlukan adalah penyesuaian output produksi dengan kebutuhan aktual pasar untuk mengurangi tingkat inventory tanpa mengurangi service level konsumen dan mengurangi risiko produk yang tidak terjual. Beberapa bentuk koordinasi pada sistem pembayaran diusulkan dengan mempertimbangkan pengaruh cash to cash cycle time, free cash of capital, dan kecepatan aliran produk pada supply chain. Kata kunci: supply chain, inventory, bullwhip effect, koordinasi sistem produksi, penjualan dan pembayaran.

Abstract

Withholding effort is a tendency employee to reduce work contribution as the possibility of an individual in giving less than maximum effort on tasks associated with the job. The purpose of this study is to analyze the remuneration fairness influences, supervisor competencies and group cohesiveness on withholding effort. The population in this study was all administrative employees with the status of civil servants and probationary civil servants who were actively working in the Institute Hindu Dharma Negeri Denpasar. The number of respondents were 80 people. The research data was primary data obtained from questionnaires. This study used confirmatory factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis as analytic technique. The results show that fairness of remuneration has a negative and significant effect on the withholding effort, supervisor competencies has a negative and significant effect on the withholding effort, group cohesiveness  has a negative and significant effect on the withholding effort.

Abstract

Recognition of unnatural patterns in control charts is important to get more understanding about the process problem. Shewhart control chart can recognize shift pattern only, while the others cannot be detected by this chart. Neural networks were proposed by many researchers to achieve the better recognition of the patterns. A system of neural networks needs to be fitted to this problem by realizing the behaviors of control charts. Each behavior will affect the development of each part of the system. Some problem need to be pointed also when dealing with the patterns of the control chart.

Abstract

This paper discusses the development of simultaneous optimization model to determine component tolerance of assembly product and plant for manufacturing processes by considering quality tolerance limits, and delivery time constraint to minimize total cost in collaboration environment of make-to-order manufacturing systems. Total cost of the system consists of manufacturing costs and quality loss costs as the tolerance function, operational costs for multi-plant manufacturing collaboration which includes: setup costs, material handling costs, operating costs of assembly, manual operations costs, and transportation costs. Formulation of the model developed uses mixed integer non linear programming as a method of solution search. In the numerical examples presented, the optimization process results an optimal solution. Optimal solution is not sensitive if the changes in quality tolerance constraint and delivery time constraint is not large. Abstract

Research on Partnership strategy between PT. INKA and SMI (Small Medium Industry) conducted using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SWOT Analysis. Problem statement: (1) Type of criteria required to build Partnership Strategy (2) How to formulate Partnership Strategy between them. Results: (1) Performance of partnership model as follows : effectivity, profesionalism, supervisory, controlship, financial, development potency, and birocration procedure. (2) Weighted criteria effectivity 0.354, profesionalism 0.24, birocration procedure 0.159, supervisory 0.104, controlship 0.068, development potency 0.045, and financial 0.031. Model 2 (proposed) is a partnership model on partnership development between PT. INKA and SMI with the management of Financial Management Council (Badan Pengelola Dana BUMN). Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Perumusan strategi kemitraan PT. INKA dan Industri Kecil Menengah diteliti menggunakan AHP dan SWOT. Permasalahan adalah kriteria-kriteria yang dibutuhkan dalam menyusun dan merumuskan strategi kemitraan antara PT. INKA dan industri kecil binaan. Hasil penelitian (1) Penilaian kinerja dari model kemitraan terdapat beberapa kriteria yang digunakan yaitu: efektivitas, profesionalitas, pembinaan, pengawasan, modal, potensi pengembangan, dan prosedur birokrasi. (2) Bobot kriteria: efektivitas 0.354, profesionalitas 0.24, prosedur birokrasi 0.159, pembinaan 0.104, pengawasan 0.068, potensi pengembangan 0.045, dan modal 0.031. Model 2 (usulan) adalah model kemitraan yang memfokuskan pengembangan kemitraan antara PT. INKA dan IKM dengan pengelolaan yang lebih profesional dengan adanya Badan Pengelola Dana BUMN yang bersifat mandiri. Kata kunci: Perumusan strategi, AHP, SWOT, Model kemitraan BUMN-IKM.

Abstract

The development of renewable energy technologies (RETs) has moved forward significantly; while the current environmental problems that some attribute to, among others, the combustion of fossil fuels to produce energy has contributed to the attractiveness these technologies. In some instances, governments support RETS and have put in place subsidies to encourage people and companies to implement or use them. Companies have responded to this as it not only brings monetary savings from using energy efficiently but can also be valuable for their image as more and more consumers are becoming environmentally conscious. Many companies have decided to take a similar route and is interested in using RETS and other environmentally friendly technologies to meet its energy requirements. The report has addressed the issue of looking at the technical and financial feasibility of installing some or all of the identified renewable energy technologies (wind energy and solar thermal), and has been structured in line with the following approach. In this report, the following approach/preliminary assessment method based on Investment Costs, O & M Costs, Operational hours/year, Ease of Installation, O&M Procedures, Social Acceptability, Greenness of technology.

Abstract

Work equipments and environment which are not design ergonomically can cause physical exhaustion to the workers. As a result of that physical exhaustion, many defects in the production lines can happen due to human error and also cause musculoskeletal complaints. To overcome, those effects, we occupied methods for analyzing the workers posture based on the SNQ (Standard Nordic Questionnaire), plibel, QEC (Quick Exposure Check) and biomechanism. Moreover, we applied those methods for designing rolling machines and grip egrek ergono-mically, so that the defects on those production lines can be minimized.

Abstract

Linear Programming Model consists of one objective function and at least one constraint. The parameters in the objective function are called objective function coefficients. Objective function coefficients represent the contribution of one unit of its corresponding decision variable to the objective function value. The exist objective function as well as its constraints in the linear programming model are characterized as crisp. Such assumptions are often considered as unrealistic. This research models and solves the Linear Programming Model in the case where objective function coefficients are in the form of triangular fuzzy number and the constraints are fuzzy as well. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Model Pemrograman Linear (MPL) memiliki sebuah fungsi objektif dan satu atau lebih kendala. Pada fungsi objektif terdapat parameter yang disebut koefisien fungsi objektif (objective function coefficients). Koefisien fungsi objektif menggambarkan kontribusi satu satuan variabel keputusan terhadap nilai fungsi objektif. Koefisien fungsi objektif yang selama ini dikenal dalam pembahasan MPL bersifat tegas (crisp)., demikian pula dengan kendala. Tulisan ini membahas suatu pendekatan terhadap perumusan dan penyelesaian MPL dalam hal koefisien fungsi objektifnya berbentuk bilangan kabur segitiga (triangular fuzzy number) dan kendalanyapun bersifat kabur. Kata kunci: model pemrograman linear, parameter pemrograman linear, bilangan kabur, koefisien fungsi objektif, bilangan kabur segitiga, kendala kabur.

Abstract

Joint replenishment problem (JRP) is a type of inventory model which aims to minimize the total inventory cost consisting of major ordering cost, minor ordering cost and inventory holding cost. Different from previous papers, this study considers one warehouse, multi items and N retailers. An innovative heuristic approach is developed to solve the problem. In this paper, we consider a multi echelon inventory system and seek to find a balance between the order cost and the inventory holding costs at each installation. The computational results show that the innovative heuristic provides a near exact optimal solution, but is more efficient in terms of the computational time and the iteration number.

Abstract

Sustainability has recently become an important issue which received growing attentions from government, society, industries as well as academia. There have been concerns on relatively rapid growth in population and increased quality of life despite limited natural resources and landfill capacity. Closed-loop Supply Chain (CLSC) is one of many approaches to mitigate the abovementioned disproportion. This article aims to study closed-loop supply chain by explaining the definition, description, pros and contras, relevance, case studies from literature, and potential research; such that its role as an agent of sustainable development can be recognized.
