The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. In collecting data using observation and in-depth interviews and continued with interactive analysis. The research subjects that were observed and made the speakers were kindergarten (TK) teachers in Cirebon and Bandung, junior / senior high schools in Cirebon and Bandung, and instructors (students) theater in art colleges (ISBI Bandung), as well as communities in Cirebon and Bandung that use theater media in the learning process. The results of this research show that theater as a performing art is essentially a medium of communication. The conclusions of the results of this study indicate that theater must be understood as an institution, media, and part of the communication process in exploring knowledge, exchanging knowledge, and utilizing the knowledge gained.

Abstract

The up and down of relations between the government and the media have been the topic of various studies for decades. Historically, relations between the two parties were characterized by unequal power relations. Reform and development of digital communication technology gives hope for press freedom in producing and distributing information to the public free from government interference. This study aims to describe the relationship between cyber media and key informants, especially government officials in covering diversity issues. This research is based on research conducted with a normative theory perspective, applying a case study method for 2 (two) years, beginning with content analysis of 200 (two hundred) articles on diversity in cyber media, followed by discussions with 30 (thirty) media journalists cyber, 15 journalists in Jakarta, and 15 in Medan. Abstract

Mine--which is always described as a hard and risky workplace--cannot be separated from gender issues. On the other hand, currently many women are able to work in the mine, and even they have very good work performance. This research is intended to explore how they adapt and interpret their work, and how they undergo a dual role as workers and housewives. This research was conducted using qualitative approach with phenomenological research method, in-depth interviews as a form of dialectical interaction. Respondents are woman coal mining operators at PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC), an international scale coal mine located in East Kalimantan. The informants are women who operate heavy equipment in the mine. The result shows that women arevable to adapt to the workplace where they were involved in, without seeing physical differences between men and women. They are able to play a dual role as workers and housewives. It can be concluded that in the mine women are able to adapt the work situation and condition without boundary that mine is the masculine workplace. It corrects various opinions, that women are people who are marginalized by the presence of mines.
