Abstract

This study aims to improve the thematic learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 019 Rambah. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students of SDN 019 Rambah, Rambah District, Rambah Regency with a total of 24 students. The results obtained from this study, namely the learning outcomes of students in class V SDN 019 Rambah increased in the first cycle amounted to 79.16% with an average of 80.6 then the second cycle increased to 91.66% with an average of 88.4% . While the observations of teacher and student activities also increased. The success of researcher activity in cycle I was 92.85%, increasing in cycle II to 96.42%. Thus the application of the snowball throwing cooperative learning model can improve the thematic learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 019 Rambah.

Abstract

This research is designed to help improve teacher discipline in carrying out teaching activities and in line with teacher professional ethics. The research in the form of a School Action Study (PTS) was conducted in two cycles, each of which was conducted in two sessions. Each cycle consists of four phases, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection technique was done by filling out the observation form during the action research. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of professional ethics development by the principal is very helpful for SMP Negeri 5 Speed teachers to further improve their self-quality and performance management in terms of discipline awareness. Implemented in the teaching and learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to listen to children's stories class IV SDN 005 Rokan IV Koto through student training methods. The instrument of this research consists of instrument of activity sheet of teacher and student and test result of learning. The results of this study found that the average student on the preliminary test was categorized average with an average value of 63.20 and in the first cycle rose to 67.20 with low category, whereas in cycle II the average ability of students was categorized high with average value average 82, and 96% complete, where the value of student completeness has been achieved. This shows that the students 'ability to listen to children's story with the fourth grade students' training method SDN 005 Rokan IV Koto can be improved through the practice method.

Abstract

The research problem is planning of the adaptive physical education learning for students with special needs at SDLB Negeri 40 Kabupaten Solok has not been implemented as expected. Form of this research was used descriptive qualitative with direct observation and unstructured interview method. The key informan of this research is the head master and another informan are teachers and students with special needs. Analysis of data using qualitative analysis techniques. Based on the result of a series observations and interviews, show the result that planning of the adaptive physical education learning is not appropriate curriculum and teachers whose teaching is not sport educatian teacher

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine whether the through application of syllable method can improve students’ beginning writing skills of class IA at StateElementary School District 183 Pekanbaru on Indonesian subject. The observation of the first cycle of 1 st and 2 encounters are as follows: teachers’ activities 25 % and 75 %, students’ activities 71.79 %, and 78.84 %, students’ writing skills 66.66 % and 79.48 %. The result observations of the second cycle 1st and 2nd encounters are as follows: the activity of teachers 75 % and 100 %, students’ activities 87.17 % and 90.38 %, students' writing skills 87.17 % and 100 %. Based on the above results it can be concluded the application of syllable method can improve students’ writing skills in the class 1A of State Elementary 183 Pekanbaru .

Abstract

This study aims to improve the cognitive abilities of children through playing block activities. The subject of the study were students in TK Islam Babbusalam in Rokan Hulu of group B. The result obtained that the cognitive abilities of children in the 35% cycle I and increased in the cycle II to 75%. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship of reading comprehension skills with the ability to write paragaraf argumentation of students of grade VIII.1 SMP N 7 Bukittinggi. This type of research is classified as quantitative research using correction method. The sample in this study is the students of gradeVIII.1 SMP N 7 Bukittinggi registered in the academic year 2016/2017 as many as 29 students. Data collection is done through comprehension reading tests and the ability to write paragraphs of argumentation. Based on the results of research, showed the existence of a significant relationship between the ability to read comprehension by writing argumentation with r calculate the correlation of 0.976 with sigma 0.000 greater than r table 0.470 at the level of α 0.01. With the sense that there is a significant relationship between reading ability and writing skills. With its determinant coefficient of 0.952. It can be understood that r square of 0.952 can be KP of 95.2%. This means that the ability to read comprehension helps the development of students' ability to write argumentation and about 5% assisted by other factors, can take the form of motivation or perseverance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the ability to read students' understanding through the implementation of DRA (Directed Reading Activity) strategy in Indonesian Lessons.Subjects in this study were students of Class VI SDN 015 Rokan IV Koto Kab. Rokan Hulu of the academic year2016-2017 with a total of 20 students. While the object in this study is the application of DRA Strategy. The steps taken in classroom action research are: 1) Planning / preparation of action, 2) Implementation of action, 3) Observation, and 4) Reflection. The results of the discussion and analysis found thatthrough DRA Strategy (Directed Reading Activity) can improve the ability to read comprehension on the Indonesian Language Lesson students of Class VI SDN 015 Rokan IV Koto Rokan Hulu District. Based on the results of the study note that Reading Ability Understanding students in the first cycle increased 63.2, while in cycle II there was an increase with average classical 86 with high category.

The research conducted on the students of grade V SD 014 Rambah Rokan Hulu, that is to know the extent of relationship between exsplosive power of leg muscle to long jump results obtained t count = 0,615, t table = 0,396 thereby can be drawn a conclusion there is explosive power of leg muscle with the results of long jump students V SD 014 Rambah Rokan Hulu.

Abstract

Based on the analysis showed that the increased ability of teachers to assign a minimum completeness criteria from the first cycle to the second cycle. Achievement Kelompok Kerja Guru Sekolah activities contained in the action II. Therefore it can be concluded that through Kelompok Kerja Guru Sekolah can enhance the ability of teachers set minimum completeness criteria in SD Negeri 018 Rambah. Thus it can be recommended to teachers and other researchers that the activities of the Working Group Master can be used as an alternative to improve the ability of teachers set Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM)
