Abstract

IT-based learning called e-learning is the process of transforming conventional education into digital form. Use of e-learning as a medium of learning is based on the characteristics of e-learning consists of non-linearity, self-managing, Feedback, interactivity, multimedia-style Leaners, Just in Time, Dynamic Updating, Accesibility and Colaborative Learning Easy. Using a descriptive design with questionnaires as research instruments. The number of sample of 100 respondents with a student population of the semester study program Information Systems 5 (five). It was concluded that the use of e-learning as a medium of learning at the University of Bina Darma in condition Quite Satisfied with the percentage of 60%. Eight characteristics: Non-linearity, self-managing, Just in Time, and Easy Self Accesibility already satisfied the conditions. While the characteristics of the feedback, interactivity, multimedia-style Leaners, Dynamic Updating, and Colaborative Learning has not satisfied the conditions. Abstract

This research aims to develops an application to select of college majors by using fuzzy decision making method. Set of alternatives discussed are engineering, Mathematics/Science, medical/pharmaceutical, economics/ management, psychology, law/sospol/communication, literature/arts/cultural and administrative/secretarial. While the set of criteria is language, logic/IT, science, and practice and social. Stages of to build this application are analyze, design, construction and implementation. Fuzzy decision making method are 1) Determine the decision alternatives, criteria set, and construct a hierarchical structure, 2) determine the weight of interest, the match weight, aggregating the weights of criteria and the degree of suitability of each alternative. 3) Selecting the optimal alternative to prioritize alternatives based on the aggregation of choosing alternative decision with the highest priority as the optimal alternative. Based on 10 times trial, the conclusion is the major that recommended to students is majoring in a degree of importance for each criterion based student ability. Abstract

The computer lab is one of the media facilities for learning and research at the University of Bina Darma Palembang, where the performance of the computer labs greatly affect the quality possessed by a laboratory computer, to maintain the performance of a computer lab needed a strategy to continue to enhance the development of the computer lab. Utilization of cloud computing for data storage, application software together as well as the use of infrastructure and hardware on a computer network. The design of cloud computing for computer laboratorium Universitas Bina Darma Palembang aimed at a preliminary design for a computer lab development as a center of learning and research for faculty and students. The design uses a cloud computing service model of Software as a Service (SaaS) and using the model of private cloud computing. Abstract

Poverty is the main problem in developing countries, both structurally poverty, cultural and natural. That is, poverty is no longer seen as a measure of the failure of the Government to protect and fulfill the basic rights of its citizens but the nation is a challenge to realize a fair society, prosperous and sovereign. Efforts that have been implemented by the government to determine the policy measures in the effort to reduce poverty, one of them by conducting a survey to assess the poor. The results of the survey activities of these organizations obtained for the various versions of the database poverty areas or locations. The information generated from the poverty database only includes recapitulation of the poor to the area or location. To facilitate the decision-making process will require a data warehouse model that can be used as a data warehouse to extract and identify useful information for government in development planning in poverty reduction.

Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Bina Medika is one of Vocational High School in Pharmacy in Palembang. The academic system is primarily about value, so far still conventionally done. Assessment is given by the teacher to the homeroom to be written into student report cards. The problem that often happens is often a mistake in writing student grades. Therefore, it will be made the application of student value in supporting the academic system in the vocational school using PHP-based programming language website. The purpose of the study is to generate value applications so as to reduce the errors of writing value-based websites. Development method used is Prototyping method. Abstract

Bina Darma University Library has a large collection of books that are highly qualified. This facility has been used by students to increase knowledge, but there are students who are be lazy to visit the library just to see the collection of books available in the library of the University of Bina Darma. Therefore needed a mobile digital library applications. This application can facilitate student at the University of Bina Darma Palembang in obtaining information about libraries like to see a collection of books and order books anywhere and anytime without having to come Librarianship. Mobile digital library application will use the Rational Unified Process (RUP) as a system development method for building these applications. Of the existing problems, then on to a topic that can be lifted into the discussion with the title "Digital Library Mobile Applications Bina Darma University Palembang Method Using Rational Unified Process (RUP)".

Abstract

Hotel selection is influenced by the objectives and the needs of visitors. Strategic location and comfortable atmosphere are also a consideration. Lack of information about the hotel became one of the problems for the visitors to determine the desired hotel when they come to a city. This research attempts to develop a decision support system that will help to make decision in hotel selection that involve number of parameters such as distance to the destination of visits, cost, facilities, and hotel class. As a case study in this research is the hotels selection in city area of Palembang, South Sumatra. Decision support system that developed in this research used mathematical method with Fuzzy Association to determine the score. Abstract

Abstract: Education is spearheading the human form smart and competitive so as to produce qualified human resources and able to compete. A good education should start from an early age. With proper education, will be able to produce children who have the intellectual quality. The exact method can provide a good mindset for children early age so that they can stimulate their memories which can also be a solid foundation in the process of intellectual development of children. The existence of the current smartphone makes it easy for children to learn. This study aimed to establish a learning application for android-based early childhood. System development method used is the Waterfall model. Applications built is expected to help the children an early age to learn both to recognize numbers, recognize letters, recognize words and counting. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect user satisfaction on the website library South Sumatra using webqual 4.0 method. Data collection in this research is done by spreading kuisioner to 40 respondent. The result of correlation test in research shows that the quality of usage and quality of information have a positive relationship while the quality of interaction has a negative relationship with user satisfaction. When viewed based on t test shows that the variable quality of usage and quality of information have a positive effect on user satisfaction library website south sumatera. While the quality of interaction variables do not have a positive effect on user satisfaction library website of South Sumatera, thus the quality of library service website of South Sumatera needs to be increased in order to increase user satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to determine behavioral intention in the use of e-learning system using models UTAUT. The phenomenon underlying the research is: It is not yet optimal use of e-learning by students information systems in the learning process, not yet optimal socialization of the existence of e-learning, so that is not maximized and yet utilization measurability of the impact of using e-learning for lecturers.This study is limited in its scope: analysis of the influence of performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence on behavioral intention in the use of e-learning on the lecturer in the University of Bina Darma. results showed that Performance Expectancy of Behavioral Intention in the use of e-learning system had no significant effect while the Effort Expectancy and Social Influence on Behavior Intention in the use of e-learning system.
