Abstract

This thesis has a goal, namely to find out how far the implementation of the Talented School concept in improving student achievement at Muhammadiyah 21 Elementary School Surabaya. Its purpose is to contribute ideas for concept implementing schools and educational institutions in the Semampir sub-district, Surabaya. The hope is to be able to contribute ideas for the development of Muhammadiyah 21 Surabaya Elementary School which can become a pilot school both at the Semampir sub-district and Surabaya city level within Muhammadiyah circles. In this study, the author uses a descriptive qualitative method that takes data directly from the existing reality. The author gets information that the curriculum at this school has been planned and structured effectively, not just decoration. But it must be applied in learning effectively as well. The success of a plan that has been prepared cannot be carried out by one party alone. In school educational institutions, success can be determined from an educator who is an expert in talent development, besides that it is supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure and directed leadership. To explore the hidden talent in each student, an educator must be done continuously. In addition to expert educators and adequate infrastructure, parents must also be supported, either directly or indirectly.Tesis ini memiliki tujuan yakni ingin mengetahui sejauh mana Implementasi Konsep The Talented School dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah 21 Surabaya. Kegunaannya adalah memberikan kontribusi pemikiran bagi sekolah pelaksana konsep dan lembaga pendidikan yang berada di wilayah kecamatan Semampir Surabaya. Harapannya mampu memberikan sumbangsih pemikiran demi perkembangan Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah 21 Surabaya bisa menjadi sekolah percontohan baik di tingkat kecamatan Semampir maupun tingkat kota Surabaya dalam kalangan Muhammadiyah. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang mengambil data langsung dari realita yang ada. Penulis mendapatkan informasi bahwa kurikulum pada sekolah ini sudah terencana dan tersusun secara efektif, tidak hanya sekedar hiasan. Tetapi harus di aplikasikan dalam pembelajaran secara efektif pula. Keberhasilan suatu rencana yang sudah tersusun tidak bisa dilakukan oleh salah satu pihak saja. Dalam lembaga pendidikan sekolah, keberhasilan bisa ditentukan dari seorang pendidik yang ahli dalam pengembangan bakat, selain itu didukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai serta kepemimpinan yang terarah. Untuk menggali bakat yang terpendam dalam setiap peserta didik harus dilakukan seorang pendidik secara terus menerus. Selain pendidik yang ahli dan sarana prasarana yang memadai juga harus didukung oleh orang tua baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

Abstract

This study aims to: first, describe how the school's strategy achieves academic achievement, second, describe how the strategy achieves the achievement of Tahfidz Al Quran, and third, describes the supporting factors, obstacles and solutions. This study uses a qualitative methodology with data collection techniques interview, observation and documentation. Research informants are the Principal, Deputy Principal and Director of the Pondok. After the data was obtained, then the data were analyzed with the stages of data analysis in qualitative research, namely domain, taxonomy, and componential analysis, analysis of cultural themes. Then check the validity of the data using triangulation of data sources. In this study, the researchers found several research results, namely, first, several strategies for achieving academic achievement were (1) setting a target for the UNBK class average score, (2) focusing more on UNBK lessons in semester 5, (3) mapping students based on scoring diagnostic tests, (4) self-motivation mentoring by teachers (5) involving parents in UNBK preparation, (6) strengthening control of students' daily worship. Second, several strategies for achieving Tahfidz's achievements are (1) determination of quality assurance (2) preparation of human resources, (3) tahsin, muroja'ah and exam programs. Third, among the most significant inhibiting factors is the availability of teacher human resources. The solution is recruitment and coaching. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: pertama, mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi sekolah tersebut mencapai prestasi akademik, kedua, mendeskripsikan bagaimana strategi mencapai prestasi Tahfidz Al Quran, dan ketiga, mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor pendukung, penghambat dan solusinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah dan Direktur Pondok. Setelah data diperoleh kemudian data dianalisis dengan tahapan analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif yaitu analisis domain, taksonomi, dan komponensial, analisis tema kultural. Kemudian pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menemukan beberapa hasil penelitian yaitu pertama, beberapa strategi pencapaian prestasi akademik yang ditempuh adalah (1) menetapkan target nilai rata-rata kelas UNBK, (2) lebih fokus pada pelajaran unbk pada semester 5, (3) pemetaan siswa berdasarkan scoring tes diagnostik, (4) pendampingan motivasi diri oleh guru (5) melibatkan orang tua dalam persiapan UNBK, (6) menguatkan kontrol ibadah harian siswa. Kedua, beberapa strategi pencapaian prestasi Tahfidz adalah (1) penetapan jaminan mutu (2) penyiapan SDM, (3) program tahsin, muroja’ah dan ujian. Ketiga, di antara faktor penghambat yang paling siginifikan adalah ketersediaan SDM guru. Adapun solusinya adalah rekruitmen dan pembinaan.

Abstract

The learning method is one of the important elements in the implementation of learning in schools. Mastery of learning methods for every teacher is an obligation that must be fulfilled as a professional figure of education and must always be developed regularly. The formulation of the problem in the research are: 1. How is the Ability to Read Al-Qur'an in Additional Guidance Students of Class VIII and IX Virtually (ZOOM) at SMP Al Falah Surabaya? 2. How is Learning to Read the Qur'an for Additional Guidance Students for Classes VIII and IX with the Virtual Peer Tutor Method (ZOOM) at Al Falah Junior High School Surabaya?. This research is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that 1). Peer tutor learning to improve reading of the Qur'an in additional tutoring students of class VIII and IX virtually (ZOOM) at SMP Al Falah Surabaya is going well. This method is an alternative for learning the Qur'an at the school. 2). The results of the implementation of peer tutoring are very good. Judging from student responses and teacher support from reading the Qur'an and other teachers. The main result of this activity is that this activity becomes a positive culture in the school environment in order to support school programs that not only make students smart but also have moral or noble character. In addition, the interaction between students makes them not only enjoy knowledge for themselves but share knowledge with each other which makes for a good atmosphere of social interaction. Metode pembelajaran merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di sekolah. Penguasaan metode pembelajaran bagi setiap guru adalah suatu kewajiban yang harus dipenuhi sebagai sosok tenaga yang profesional kependidikan dan senantiasa harus terus dikembangkan secara berkala. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian adalah: 1. Bagaimana Kemampuan Baca Al Qur’an pada Siswa Bimbingan Tambahan Kelas VIII dan IX secara Virtual (ZOOM) di SMP Al Falah Surabaya? 2. Bagaimana Pembelajaran Baca Al Qur’an pada Siswa Bimbingan Tambahan Kelas VIII dan IX dengan Metode Tutor Sebaya secara Virtual (ZOOM) di SMP Al Falah Surabaya?. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1). Pembelajaran tutor sebaya untuk meningkattkan baca Al Qur’an pada siswa bimbingan tambahan kelas VIII dan IX secara virtual (ZOOM) di SMP Al Falah Surabaya berjalan dengan baik. Metode ini sebagai alternatif bagi pembelajaran Al Qur’an di sekolah tersebut. 2). Hasil dari pelaksanaan pembelajaran tutor sebaya sangat baik. Dilihat dari respon siswa dan dukungan guru dari mata pelajaran baca Al Qur’an dan guru lainnya. Hasil yang paling utama dari kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan ini menjadi budaya positif di lingkungan sekolah dalam rangka mendukung program sekolah yang tidak hanya menjadikan siswa menjadi pintar tetapi juga bermoral atau berakhlaq mulia. Selain itu juga interaksi antara siswa yang menjadikan mereka tidak hanya menikmati ilmu untuk dirinya tetapi saling berbagi ilmu yang menjadikan suasana interaksi sosial yang baik.

Abstract

This paper discusses the importance of character education for students in dealing with social disruption and dehumanization of society 5.0 . Around the 2010s the idea of the industrial revolution 4.0 was launched with intellectual engineering (artificia intelligence) and the internet of things as the main foothold for the connectivity of human life with machines. The main principle in this revolution is that it is easy, cheap, fast and accessible anywhere (simple, cheaper, faster and accessible). Therefore, the industrial revolution 4.0 is understood as a new civilization that will present opportunities for success as well as challenges for humans and their lives, especially the younger generation (millennials). ) as an agent of social change and a milestone in the history of his life. Digitization of information has provided very wide and even unlimited opportunities for every human being to access information and communicate and interact quickly and easily at a very low cost, so that slowly the industrial revolution 4.0 has fundamentally caused changes in mindset and behavior even identity as a human.

This paper discusses the importance of strengthening the character of students in the face of societal cultural disruption in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Around the 2010s the idea of the industrial revolution 4.0 was launched with intellectual engineering (artificia intelligence) and the internet of things as the main foothold for the connectivity of human struggles with machines. The main principle in this revolution is that it is easy, cheap, fast and accessible anywhere (simple, cheaper, faster and accessible). Therefore, the industrial revolution 4.0 is understood as a new civilization that will present opportunities as well as challenges for humans and their lives, especially the younger generation (millennials). as an agent of social change and a milestone in the history of life. The digitization of information has opened up very broad and even unlimited opportunities for every human being to access information and communicate and interact quickly and easily at a very low cost. While on the other hand the industrial revolution 4.0 will fundamentally cause a change in mindset (mindseat) and behavior and even identity as a human being. This era will also disrupt various human activities, such as economic, political, social and even religious issues. Al-Qur'an-Based Character Education as a solution to prepare and fortify humans, especially the younger generation (millennials) in interacting and communicating through digitalization of the virtual world by sticking to noble values sourced from the Qur'an and Sunnah. Prophet Muhammad SAW Tulisan ini membahas tentang pentingnya penguatan karakter siswa dalam menghadapi disrupsi budaya masyarakat di era revolusi industri 4.0.   Sekitar tahun 2010an gagasan revolusi industri 4.0 ini diluncurkan dengan rekayasa intelektual (artificia intelegensia) dan internet of thing sebagai pijakan utama bagi konektivitas pergumulan manusia dengan mesin. Prinsip utama dalam revolusi ini adalah mudah, murah, cepat dan terakses dimanapun (simpler, cheaper, faster dan accessible) Oleh karena itu  revolusi industri 4.0 difahami sebagai sebuah peradaban baru yang akan menyuguhkan peluang sekaligus tantangan bagi manusia dan kehidupannya terutama generasi muda (milenial) sebagai agen of social change dan tonggak penentu sejarah kehidupan. Digitalisasi informasi telah membuka kran kesempatan dan peluang yang sangat luas bahkan tanpa batas (unlimited)  bagi setiap manusia untuk mengakses informasi dan berkomunikasi serta berinteraksi dengan cepat dan mudah dengan biaya yang sangat murah.  Sementara disisi yang lain revolusi industri 4.0 secara fundamental akan menyebabkan berubahnya pola pikir (mindseat) dan prilaku bahkan jati dirinya sebagai manusia. Era ini juga akan mendisrupsi berbagai aktivitas manusia, seperti masalah ekonomi, politik, sosial bahkan agama. Abstract

This study aims to describe the importance of optimizing the strategic role and the main task of special supervisors (GPK) in inclusive schools. An inclusive school is a formal educational institution that organizes a special education system for children who have limitations and special needs. The implementation of inclusive education can be carried out in general schools by providing a special portion of time for learning by bringing in special mentoring teachers (GPK) who are assigned to guide and provide special services on inclusive education. On the other hand inclusive education can also be held independently in a formal institution with a learning system that is constructed based on the needs of students such as SLB (Extraordinary Schools). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. With this research it is expected to reveal various qualitative information with careful and meaningful analysis-descriptions. Data sources in this study include principals, special supervisors and class teachers. Data collection is done by interview, observation, and documentation. As for the data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and data analysis. The context of this research is the implementation of inclusive schools in Sidoarjo district for elementary and junior high school levels. The results of the study include (a) Knowing the model of implementing inclusive education in general schools by bringing in special tutors (GPK) (b) The importance of the presence of special tutor teachers (GPK) for the success of inclusive education in accordance with MoNE Regulation No. 70 of 2009.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of transformational leadership management on the performance of educators and education personnel. many things are related in order to support the success of an Islamic educational institution one of which concerns the style displayed by the figure of the leader or the pattern of behavior that he displays in leading. In general leadership style there are two leadership styles namely task oriented style (task oriented), and member oriented style (employee-oriented). In subsequent developments along with social changes the model and style of leadership underwent a change in the style of transactional leadership, transformational leadership, and visual leadership. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. Data from this study were obtained from the school principal, board of teachers and other school staff at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive - qualitative. The results of the study indicate that transformational leadership management is able to improve the quality of the performance of educators and education personnel in SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to answer the formulation of the maslahah of memorizing the Qur;an which is urgent to be developed in every Islamic educational isstitution, both scools and madrasas because it is an effort to maintain the originality of the Qur’an which is an absolute obligation for muslim, to form noble personalities and improve the quality of live intelligence. Therefore, the success of the tahfidz al-Qur’an program for educational institutions is important. From obsrvation made at MI. Qomarul Wathon Lamongan there is no special valid, parctical, and effective tahfidz al-Qur’an learning model that is used to standrdize the tahfidz al-Qur’an lerning process. This research is a field research. The approach is qualitative to produce a valid, practical, and effective tahfidz al-Qur’an learning model. The type of research (qualitative). The data collection uses observation techniques, interviews, and which are used to validate the developed model. The model validation process is carried out by experts and practitions. The result of research and development of the tahfidz al-Qur’an learning model in MI. Qomarul Wathon Lamongan is in the form of stages of learning tahfidzal-Qur’an which emphasizes the frequent parctice (dill system), with the following steps: (1) the teacher perceives (2) the teacher provides examples of reading verses that will be memorized correctly (talqin) (3) student read the memorized verse at least 5 times repetition by looking at the manuscripts (4) the teacher writes the keywords (beginning of the verse) to be memorized (5) student raed the verse to be memorized by looking at the keywords (beginning of the verse) that has been written at least 5 times repetition (6) Student recite the verse to be memorized without looking (bil ghoib) at least 5 repetitions (7) Student listen to each other’s memorization, and ask questions by randomizing the number of verses or connecting verses. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mejawab rumusan maslahah menghafal al-Qur’an urgen untuk dikembangkan di setiap lembaga pendidikan Islam baik Sekolah maupun Madrasah karena merupakan usaha menjaga orisnilitas al-Qur’an yang mutlak menjadi kewajiban bagi umat Islam, membentuk prinadi mulia dan meningkatkan kecerdasan. Oleh karena itu, mensukseskan program tahfidz al-Qur’an bagi lembaga pendidikan adalah hal yang penting. Dari observasi yang dilakukan di MI. Qomarul Wathon Lamongan belum ada model pembelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an khusus yang valid, praktis, dan efektif yang digunakan untuk menstandartkan proses pemebelajaran tahfidz al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan. Adapun pendekatannya adalah diskriptif kualitatif untuk mengahsilakn model pemebelajaran tahfidz al-Qura’an yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengemnagan (kualitatif). Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan teknik obeservasi, wawancara, dan yang digunakan untuk validasi model yang dikembangkan. Proses validasi model dilakukan oleh pakar/ahli dan praktisi. Hasil penelitian dan pengembagan model pembelajran tahfidz al-Qur’an di MI. Qorul Wathon Lamongan itu berupa tahapan-tahapan pemeblajran tahfidz al-Qur’an yang menekankan pada seringya latihan (sistem drill), dengan langkah-langkah: (1) Guru mengapersepsi (2) Guru memberikan contoh bacaan ayat yang akan dihafal dengan benar (talqin) sebanyak 5x pengulangan (3) Siswa membaca ayat yang dihafalakan minimal 5x pengulangan dengan melihat mushaf (4) Guru menulis kata kunci (awal ayat) yang akan dihafalkan (5) Siswa membaca ayat yang akan dihafalkan dengan melihat kata kunci (awal ayat) yang telah ditulis minimla 5x pengulangan (6) Siswa melafalkan ayat yang akan dihafal tanpa melihat (bil ghoib) minmal 5x pengulangan (7) Siswa saling menyimak hafalan temannya, dan membrikan pertanyaan dengan mengacak nomor ayat maupu sambung ayat.

Abstract

The book Fihi Ma Fihi is one of the master pieces of a Sufi figure named Jalaluddin Rumi, which contains Rumi's lectures in prose. Contains lecture materials, reflections, and comments that discuss issues surrounding morals which are complemented by interpretations of the Koran and Hadith. The formulation of the problems in this study are: 1). How is the concept of moral education from the perspective of Islamic education? 2). What are the values of moral education contained in the book Fihi Ma Fihi by Jalaluddin Rumi? 3). How is the relevance of the value of moral education in the book Fihi Ma Fihi to Islamic Education? This research is a qualitative research in the form of descriptive and the type of research is library research. The object of research in this thesis is a literary work in the form of a book entitled Fihi Ma Fihi Karya Jalaluddin Rumi. The approach taken by the author to obtain data is to search for books that are relevant to the object of study with primary data sources coming from the book Fihi Ma Fihi. The method used by the author in this thesis is the documentary method, which is looking for variable data in the form of notes, manuscripts, book transcripts and so on. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Based on the analysis conducted by the author, it can be concluded that: 1). The values of moral education in the book Fihi Ma Fihi include Love, Khauf and Raja ', Tawakal, Ikhlas, Muraqabah, Dhikr to Allah, Istikamah, Tawadu', Patience, Mujahadah, Forgiveness and Glorification of others. 2). The value of moral education in Jalaluddin Rumi's book Fihi Ma Fihi can be reflected in the process of spiritual education in humans so that they follow what Allah, the Lord of the universe and the universe wants. It is the process of achieving the perfection of human spiritual potential which is shown by the attainment in the form of spiritual cleanliness, breadth in thinking, depth of understanding of knowledge, the virtue of morals, which leads people to God. Buku Fihi Ma Fihi merupakan salah satu master piece dari seorang tokoh sufi bernama Jalaluddin Rumi, yang memuat ceramah-ceramah Rumi dalam bentuk prosa. Berisi tentang materi perkuliahan, refleksi, dan komentar yang membahas tentang masalah seputar akhlak yang dilengkapi dengan tafsiran Al-Quran dan Hadis. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1). Bagaimana konsep pendidikan akhlak perspektif pendidikan Islam? 2). Bagaimana nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terkandung dalam buku Fihi Ma Fihi karya Jalaluddin Rumi? 3). Bagaimana relevansi nilai pendidikan akhlak pada buku Fihi Ma Fihi terhadap Pendidikan Islam? Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif yang berbentuk deksriptif dan jenis penelitiannya adalah kepustakaan (library research). Objek penelitian dalam tesis ini adalah karya sastra berupa buku yang berjudul Fihi Ma Fihi Karya Jalaluddin Rumi. Pendekatan yang dilakukan oleh penulis untuk memperoleh data adalah dengan mencari buku-buku yang relevan dengan obyek kajian dengan sumber data primer berasal dari buku Fihi Ma Fihi. Metode yang dilakukan penulis dalam tesis ini adalah metode dokumenter yakni mencari data variabel yang berupa catatan, naskah, transkip buku dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan penulis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1). Nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak pada buku Fihi Ma Fihi meliputi Cinta, Khauf dan Raja’, Tawakal, Ikhlas, Muraqabah, Berdzikir kepada Allah, Istikamah, Tawadu’, Sabar, Mujahadah, Memaafkan dan Memuliakan terhadap sesama. 2). Nilai pendidikan akhlak dalam buku Fihi Ma Fihi karya Jalaluddin Rumi dapat tercermin dari proses pendidikan rohani pada manusia agar ia mengikuti apa yang dikehendaki Allah, Tuhan semesta dan jagat raya ini. Merupakan proses pencapaian kesempurnaan potensi spiritual manusia yang ditunjukan dengan pencapaian dalam wujud kebersihan rohani, keluasan dalam berpikir, kedalaman pemahaman ilmu, keutamaan akhlak, yang membawa manusia menuju kepada Tuhan.
IMPLEMENTASI METODE PEMBELAJARAN AL-QUR’AN (Studi Komparatif Penerapan Metode Iqro’ dan Ummi di TPA Kecamatan Solokuro Lamongan) Zainal Arifin

Abstract

The focus of this research is to find out and explain the Implementation of Al-Qur'an Learning Method with Iqro' Method in TPA Solokuro Lamongan District, to know and explain the Implementation of Al-Qur'an Learning Method with Ummi Method at TPA Solokuro Lamongan District, and to know and explain the advantages and disadvantages of learning the Qur'an with the Iqra' and Ummi methods. This research method is qualitative with a comparative mindset/analysis. Data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the implementation of the Iqro' method of learning Al-Qur'an in TPA Solokuro Lamongan District which consists of TPA Syifa'ul Qulub, TPA Umar Bin Khottob and TPA Al-Musthofa in its application is not based on the procedures of Iqro' itself because the Iqro' method does not have a central institution like other methods. (2) The implementation of the Ummi method of Al-Qur'an learning at the TPA Solokuro Lamongan District which consists of the Al-Ittihad TPA and the Fathurrohim TPA in its application has used the standards and procedures of the Ummi Foundation institution. (3) The advantages of the Iqro' method include: using the CBSA system (Active Student Learning Method), in its application using private; Communicative; may be with the tadarus system. While the weaknesses of the Iqro' method are: recitation readings are not introduced from an early age, there is no learning media, and it is not recommended to use murottal rhythms. The advantages of the Ummi Method include a quality-based system, systematic stages, continuous material and strict control. While the weakness of the Ummi Method is that it requires a lot of teachers, takes a long time and costs a lot. Fokus dari penelitian ini diantaranya untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan Metode Iqro’ di TPA Kecamatan Solokuro Lamongan, mengetahui dan menjelaskan Implementasi Metode Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan Metode Ummi di TPA Kecamatan Solokuro Lamongan, serta mengetahui dan menjelaskan kelebihan dan kekurangan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an dengan metode Iqra’ dan Ummi. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan dengan pola pikir/analisis komparatif. Metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an metode Iqro’ di TPA Kecamatan Solokuro Lamongan yang terdiri dari Tpa Syifa’ul Qulub, TPA Umar Bin Khottob dan TPA Al-Musthofa dalam penerapannya tidak berdasarkan pada prosedur dari Iqro’ itu sendiri karena memang metode Iqro’ tidak memiliki lembaga pusat seperti metode lainnya. (2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran Al-Qur’an metode Ummi di TPA Kecamatan Solokuro Lamongan yang terdiri dari TPA Al-Ittihad dan TPA Fathurrohim dalam penerapannya sudah menggunakan standar dan prosedur dari lembaga Ummi Foundation. (3) Kelebihan metode Iqro’ diantaranya: menggunakan sistem CBSA (Cara Belajar  Siswa aktif), dalam penerapannya menggunakan privat; Komunikatif; boleh dengan sistem tadarus. Sedangkan kelemahan metode Iqro’ yaitu: bacaan-bacaan tajwid tak dikenalkan sejak dini, tak ada media belajar, dan tidak dianjurkan menggunakan irama murottal. Adapun kelebihan Metode Ummi diantaranya yaitu sistem yang berbasis mutu, tahapan yang sistematis, materi yang kontinu dan kontrol yang ketat. Sedangkan kelemahan Metode Ummi yaitu membutuhkan pengajar  yang banyak, waktu yang lama serta biaya yang besar.
