BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is one of the scientific publication media, which publish the article related to the result of research or study in the field of Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Focus and scope of BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan, as follows: - Pure Mathematics (analysis, algebra & number theory), - Applied Mathematics (Fuzzy, Artificial Neural Network, Mathematics Modeling & Simulation, Control & Optimization, Ethno-mathematics, etc.), - Statistics, - Actuarial Science, - Logic, - Geometry & Topology, - Numerical Analysis, - Mathematic Computation and - Mathematics Education. The meaning word of "BAREKENG" is one of the words from Moluccas language which means "Counting" or "Calculating". Counting is one of the main and fundamental activities in the field of Mathematics. Therefore we tried to promote the word "Barekeng" as the name of our scientific journal also to promote the culture of the Maluku Area. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is published four (4) times a year in March, June, September and December, since 2020 and each issue consists of 15 articles. The first published since 2007 in printed version (p-ISSN: 1978-7227) and then in 2018 BAREKENG journal has published in online version (e-ISSN: 2615-3017) on website: (https://ojs3.unpatti.ac.id/index.php/barekeng/). This journal system is currently using OJS3.1.1.4 from PKP. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been nationally accredited at Level 3 (SINTA 3) since December 2018, based on the Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia, with Decree No. : 34 / E / KPT / 2018. In 2019, BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been re-accredited by Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia and accredited in level 3 (SINTA 3), with Decree No.: 29 / E / KPT / 2019. Abstract

A few phenomena are completely described by a single number. For example, the size of a population of rabbits can be represented using one number, but how to know the rate of population change, we should consider other quantities such as the size of predator populations and the availability of food. This research will discuss a model of the evolution from two populations in a Predator-Prey system of differential equations which one species “eats” another. This model has two dependent variables, where both of functions not hang up of times. A solution of this system will be show in trajectory in phase plane, after we get and know equilibrium points until this model be a balanced solution.

Abstract

Multiple regression analysis as a statistical technique that can be used to analyze the relationship between a single dependent (respon) variable and several independent (peredictor) variables. Application for this analysis to be done specially in social economic. HBAT is a manufacture of paper products. Surveys of HBAT customer will be used to application multiple regression analysis in this paper to explain relationship satisfication between the other variables. Methods to selective entering and deleting among these variables until some overall criterion measure is achived. Objective methods for selecting variables that maximizes the prediction while employing the smallest number of variables. Results is the best model from multiple regression analysis is Y = -1.15106 + 0.36900 X6 - 0.41714 X7 + 0.31896 X9 + 0.17435 X11 + 0.77513 X12, means that customer satisfaction is significantly influenced by the complaint resolution, product quality, salesforce image, e-commerce activities, and product line. Besides that the assumptions in multiple regression analysis are met. SAS software has facility more complete than SPSS, Minitab, and R.

Abstract

The dynamics of a 2D positive system depends on the pair of nonnegative square matrices thatprovide the updating of its local states. In this paper, several spectral properties, like finitememory, separablility and property L, which depend on the characteristic polynomial of thepair, are investigated under the nonnegativity constraint and in connection with thecombinatorial structure of the matrices.Some aspects of the Perron-Frobenius theory are extended to the 2D case; in particular,conditions are provided guaranteeing the existence of a common maximal eigenvector for twononnegative matrices with irreducible sum. Abstract

Jaringan jalur transportasi pada suatu daerah memegang peranan penting dalam mobilitas masyarakat antar satu daerah, baik antar kota maupun antar tempat yang satu ke tempat yang lain. Berbagai macam alat transportasi digunakan baik alat transportasi umum maupun pribadi. Ditengah aktivitas yang padat masyarakat yang berekonomi menengah kebawah cenderung menggunakan taksi sebagai solusi untuk membantu aktivitas agar tepat waktu, ditengah kepadatan lalu lintas. Jalur taksi pada umumnya lebih bervariasi daripada jalur kendaraan umum karena tidak mempunyai jalur yang ditetapkan. Sopir taksi dalam hal ini cenderung memaksimalkan tarif/ongkos yang didapat untuk itu sering diambil jalur yang dapat memaksimalkan tarif/ongkos tersebut. Dalam paper ini dikonstruksikan model aljabar maks-plus untuk rute/jalur taksi yang dianggap maksimal dan akan ditempuh oleh seorang pengemudi taksi.

Abstract

Has done research on different container and the syringe bulb to determine the number of moles of air. If the gas or air is introduced into the syringe or bulb then the more air is forced into it. The analysis uses Boyle-Mariotte law shows that the number of moles of air in the syringe with constant temperature and number of moles of air at constant volume is a sphere with eqqual 0.02 mol. Thus two different media (cylindrical and spherical), giving the same number of moles. Obtaining the number of moles show that the application of Boyle-Mariotte is derived from the ideal gas law is appropriate.

Abstract

This paper give an analitical technique to approximate future lifetime distributions. Approximations of the future lifetime distribution based on the shifted Jacobi polynomials, andit yielded the sequences of a exponentials combination. The results of approximations of the future lifetime distribution in this cases study based on Makeham’s Law. It is very accurate inthe case study.

Abstract

Hilbert space is a very important idea of the Davids Hilbert invention. In 1907, Riesz and Fréchet developed one of the theorem in Hilbert space called the Riesz-Fréchet representationtheorem. This research contains some supporting definitions Banach space, pre-Hilbert spaces, Hilbert spaces, the duality of Banach and Riesz-Fréchet representation theorem. On Riesz-Fréchet representation theorem will be shown that a continuous linear functional that exist in the Hilbert space is an inner product, in other words, there is no continuous linear functional on a Hilbert space except the inner product.

Abstract

Observation of the stress and strain in materials steel, brass and anneal is done by testing to determine the tensile modulus of elasticity of the material. The results showed that the modulus of elasticity of the material brass is smaller than the brass alloy steel and steel materials, caused by the formation of the composition of the material is different. The relationship between stress and strain are used to gain slope value, and this value used to determine the modulus of elasticity of steel materials, brass and anneal. The analysis showed that the magnitude of the modulus of elasticity of brass material brass=(20.10  1.60) x109 Pa, anneal materials anneal=(68.10  2.20) x109 Pa, and steel materials steel=(201, 00  5.30) x109 Pa. The results of tensile tests conducted on all three materials can be used to determine the comparative figures Poisson. The analysis showed the amount of comparative figures in steel material Poisson msteel=0.106  0.002, brass material mbrass=0.104  0.002 and anneal materials manneal=0.103  0.005.
