BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is one of the scientific publication media, which publish the article related to the result of research or study in the field of Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics. Focus and scope of BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan, as follows: - Pure Mathematics (analysis, algebra & number theory), - Applied Mathematics (Fuzzy, Artificial Neural Network, Mathematics Modeling & Simulation, Control & Optimization, Ethno-mathematics, etc.), - Statistics, - Actuarial Science, - Logic, - Geometry & Topology, - Numerical Analysis, - Mathematic Computation and - Mathematics Education. The meaning word of "BAREKENG" is one of the words from Moluccas language which means "Counting" or "Calculating". Counting is one of the main and fundamental activities in the field of Mathematics. Therefore we tried to promote the word "Barekeng" as the name of our scientific journal also to promote the culture of the Maluku Area. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan is published four (4) times a year in March, June, September and December, since 2020 and each issue consists of 15 articles. The first published since 2007 in printed version (p-ISSN: 1978-7227) and then in 2018 BAREKENG journal has published in online version (e-ISSN: 2615-3017) on website: (https://ojs3.unpatti.ac.id/index.php/barekeng/). This journal system is currently using OJS3.1.1.4 from PKP. BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been nationally accredited at Level 3 (SINTA 3) since December 2018, based on the Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia, with Decree No. : 34 / E / KPT / 2018. In 2019, BAREKENG: Jurnal ilmu Matematika dan Terapan has been re-accredited by Direktur Jenderal Penguatan Riset dan Pengembangan, Kementerian Riset, Teknologi, dan Pendidikan Tinggi, Republik Indonesia and accredited in level 3 (SINTA 3), with Decree No.: 29 / E / KPT / 2019. Abstract

Masalah mendasar dari prediksi prediksi model curah hujan adalah keakuratan model berdasarkan proses stokhastik skala global maupun skala kecil. Statistical Downscalling(SD) merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. SD adalah model yang menghubungkan skala global GCM dengan skala yang lebih kecil (lokal) dengan jalanpra-pemrosesan .reduksi dimensi domain grid untuk mengatasi kasus multikolinearitas. Metode reduksi dimensi yang serikali digunakan adalah Principal Component Analysis(PCA). Namun PCA tidak dapat diandalkan jika ada pengamatan outlier dalam data, sehingga diperlukan reduksi dimensi yang robust. Reduksi dimensi robust menggunakanRobust Principal Component Analysis (ROBPCA) dengan estimator robust MCD. Dari hasil reduksi dimensi domain grid tersebut selanjutnya diregresikan dengan variabel responberupa data curah hujan di stasiun Ambon dengan pendekatan regresi Bayes. Pendekatan regresi Bayes ROBUST PCA menjadi salah satu alternatif pada pemodelan SD. HasilPenelitian menunjukkan Metode regresi Bayes ROBPCA cenderung lebih baik pada domain 8x8 dilihat pada kriteria kebaikan model RMSE terkecil yaitu 231,4 dan R-Squareterbesar 38,1% dibandingkan domain 3x3 dan domain 12x12

Abstract

Gas transmission system has a branch to costumer area that affects to flow rate, gas pressure, and pipe diameter. This paper discusses optimization of this transmission system. Optimum gas pressure and pipe diameter was found by minimizing cost objective function subjects to panhandle A and panhandle B constrain function. Steepest Descent method which is combined with Rangekutta methods is use to determine the optimization process. The result shows that the pipe branches affect the optimization variables.

Abstract

Transformasi Wavelet merupakan sarana yang mulai popular pada pemrosesan sinyal, seperti citra dan suara. Transformasi Wavelet merupakan alat yang sesuai untuk menganalisis sinyal nonstationer (seperti suara) dan memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam melokalisasi frekuensi dan waktu sinyal.Pada penelitian ini akan mengunakan tipe wavelet berbasis orthogonal yaitu coiflet berorde 4 dengan tingkat dekomposisi 10 dan 15. Pada pencocokan polanya menggunakan JST multi-layer perceptron.Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa Transformasi Wavelet merupakan suatu metode ekstraksi ciri yang handal untuk identifikasi pembicara yang mampu bersaing dengan tools lainnya dan Wavelet tipe coiflet memberikan tingkat pengenalan sebesar 84%.

Abstract

Every product has its certain life cycle, whether, for example, it preserve in the market or have to be withdrawed from the market. Some criterias are important to determine those decisions. But they are not in numerical form but categorial one. Fuzzy logic is a tool to transform those categorial form to numerics using membership function. This research was trying to helps management as an expert system to make a decision based on computer software.

Abstract

The choice of the bandwidth h is the main problem of kernel density function. In some situations it might be quite useful to have a set of retes corresponding to different bandwidth.It is necessary to agree which bandwidth is an appropriate one. Cross-Validation (C-V) is a well-known method to optimize the smoothing parameter h. In this research, we will analysis about three methods of Cross-Validation: Maximum Likelihood Cross-Validation, Least-Square Cross-Validation (Unbiased Cross-Validation) and Biased Cross-Validation with bandwidth choice optimal.

Abstract

(E,A,B,C,D) as a singular system is given. E, A, B and C are real constant matrices if E=I, I is a identify matrix, then (E,A,B,C) is a normal system. A unique solution of a singular system exists if (E,A) is regular. A singular system which is regular and the index is not more than one can be simplified to a normal system.The regularization of a singular system by feedback output u = Fy + v is investigated in this paper. Furthermore a sufficient and necessary condition of the existence of F such that (E, A+BFC) is regular and the index is not more than one is represented.

Abstract

Association is a technique in data mining used to identify the relationship between itemsets in a database (association rule). Some researches in association rule since the invention of AIS algorithm in 1993 have yielded several new algorithms. Some of those used artificial datasets (IBM) and claimed by the authors to have a reliable performance in finding maximal frequent itemset. But these datasets have a different characteristics from real world dataset. The goal of this research is to compare the performance of Apriori and Cut Both Ways (CBW) algorithms using 3 real world datasets. We used small and large values of minimum support thresholds as atreatment for each algorithm and datasets. As a result we find that the characteristics of datasets have a signifcant effect on the performance of Apriori and CBW. Support counting strategy, horizontal counting, showed a better performance compared to vertical intersection although candidate frequent itemsets counted was fewer.

Abstract

Metode Statistika Multivariat adalah teknik analisis statistik yang memperlakukan sekumpulan variabel dependent yang saling berhubungan sebagai satu sistem, dengan memperhitungkan kuatnya hubungan antar variabel-variabel tersebut. Analisis yang demikian biasanya dikenal atau disebut Analisis Statistik Multivariat atau disingkat Analisis Multivariat.Tujuan analisis dengan metode ini adalah menemukan dan menafsirkan struktur yang mendasari data. Pada analisis ini data yang diolah adalah data dari hasil pengukuran beberapa variabel tak bebas dan dapat saja ditambah dengan hasil pengukuran dari satu atau beberapa variabel bebas. Dengan demikian yang diukur adalah satu atau beberapa kelompok variabel, sedang datanya adalah beberapa kelompok skor.Analisis Varians adalah tehnik analisis statistik, yang biasanya digunakan untuk komparasi beberapa rata-rata populasi, berdasarkan perbandingan pasangan taksiran varians faktor-faktor tertentu. Pada kondisi multivariat, dimana analisis ini merupakan perluasan atau generalisasi dari analisis varians adalah Analisis Varians Multivariat, dan merupakan tehnik analisis data tentang perbedaan pengaruh beberapa variabel terhadap sekelompok variabel kriteria.
