Abstract

This study seeks to bring the management of education not only in normative; simply stating and describing, but transformed in the form of performative actions; that is actual and concrete action. One of them is the effort presents the idea of cultural-based character education. The dynamics of the times will keep rolling including education, then the necessary efforts to deconstruct an old-fashioned texts that had evolved in the world of education. This effort is not an sich demanding professional attitude in the management of education, but also how to build a dialectic between the text being taught with the existing reality. Character education theme can be used as an alternative for the education of this nation, what is the purpose of this character-based learning, idea is able to advocate inequality and discrimination social-cultural happening in society. Understanding and contextual understanding of how began a good character education on the learners obviously have an impact on the understanding of the behaviour, acts that can be accounted for. Expected in the end of education can advocate for learners in a mensikapi culture that concussion occurred in the community with arif and wise with the emphasis on local wisdom values (local wishdom) an egalitarian and humanistic.

Abstract

This study aims for detect the existence of groundwater using magnetic sensor. I doing so, we calculated the value of the Earth’s magnetic field on the land area with large around 150 metres in Pandeyan sub district of Boyolali Regency. We used a linear magnetic hall sensor with SS49E type as our analytical proportion to the strength of the magnetic field. We made a magnetic measurement program who compiled in the microcontroller chip and the result will be show in the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). When we took the data there, we found three spot with highest value, lowest value and fickle value of the magnetic field. After found these, we tried drill them to find the source of groundwater. The first spot as the highest with value of the strength of the magnetic field is 550 and we found the source of groundwater in a depth of 6 metres. The second spot as the lowest with value of the strength of the magnetic field is 549 and we found the source of groundwater in a depth more than 9 metres. The last spot is unique because the strength of the magnetic field always changing between the range 549 to 550 and we found the source of groundwater in a depth 7.5 metres. So that, it can be interpreted that the magnetic sensor can be used to find the source groundwater. The higher the value of the strength of the magnetic field then will be closer to groundwater.

Abstract

Healthy teeth for everyone is very influential on the structure of its teeth. Abnormalities in the shape of the teeth can only be definitely diagnosed by a dentist through the examination and analysis of x-ray panoramic photos, which will determine how large abnormalities in dental and medical measures that need to be done. How to diagnose is then applied by the researchers in this study, by building a knowledge-based artificial intelligence system that is back propagation neural network. Processes on the system developed consists of a color conversion process on the x-ray image into greyscale, noise removal x-ray, image enhancement, image segmentation teeth, the process of training and testing the neural network. From the amount of image data dental panoramic x-ray is used, namely 20 and 10 training data test data as well as parameter input unit 15, 7 hidden units, 1 unit of output, learning rate 0.01, epoch 1000, the momentum of 0.95. Accuracy obtained through cross-validation test by 80% for data of normal tooth, 86.67% for dental data is not normal, and 100% for a normal tooth and the tooth is not normal on non cross validation test. Therefore we can conclude this study was quite successful in developing a system to diagnose abnormalities of the teeth, because it has a fairly high representation accuracy in providing analysis, as well as the analysis of a dentist.

Abstract

In a scope of data communication through the network, security and communication performance are needed to be considered. However, security and performance are contrary to each other. If we choose to improve security aspect then the performance will decrease, and vice versa. The data communication performance is affected by network bandwidth and throughput, otherway we can improve data transmission performance by reducing the file size before we send it through the network by using compression algorithm. The compressed bits will be sent through the secured network by using secure shell protocol. However, the usage of compression might increase the processing delay which affect transmission performance. The testing will be conducted by measuring communication quality of the result by using unification of secure shell protocol and Zlib compression algorithm. In this research, we designed and made a software that allows data exchanging with considering the aspect of efficiency and security. The testing will be conducted to determine the impact of the unification of secure shell protocol and compression algorithm on high performance network.
