Abstract

The increase in the number of foreign tourists who are interested in visiting DIY significantly because this region has various world-class attractions, one of which is Malioboro. Currently, tourist infrastructure such as road access, transportation, and revitalization Malioboro has been built so as to facilitate the tourists and local tourists to travel to Malioboro. Transportation facilities that facilitate the tourists one of them is Trans Jogja bus. Trans Jogja bus route that supports transportation from the airport to Malioboro is Trans Jogja bus with route 1A and route 3A so that needed a medium that can give information of bus route of Trans Jogja from Airport to Malioboro and vice versa. The media in the form of three-dimensional animation based on mobile android that can be more informative, making it easier for tourists to understand the route of Trans Jogja bus route. Making interactive media using 3ds max software with motion tween animation concept. the design and concept is then implemented in the form of animated movie. Application testing using black-box testing method. the results of the test show that the application is running well, the button on the application can be used, the route shown in accordance with the conventional map and can show the routes of bus routes according to the route used.

Abstract

Nature has been a great inspiration for engineering design. Flying insect, in specific, has been studied and being an inspiration in the development of flapping-wing micro aerial vehicle (FW-MAV). Each species of flying insect has its own wing kinematics, but most all of them generate the aerodynamic force with the same of three mechanism: delayed stall, rotational circulation and wake capture[1]. In this research, we conduct a parametric study on the FW-MAV with different wing shapes. There are two designs of the FW-MAV in this study, which have flapping angle of 80 and 120 deg. The three different shapes of wings are mimics from: desert locust, Monarch butterfly and rhinoceros beetle. The wings then attached to the FW-MAV and operated with voltage input of 1.5V. The force generated by the FW-MAV and the electrical current measured in a swing test, while recorded in 240 fps using action camera. From the test, we get the flapping frequency, generated horizontal force and power consumption. From this research we have several data that can be used for the further development of the FW-MAV.

Abstract

Perlakuan permukaan shot peening paling banyak diaplikasikan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan fatik dan korosi pada konstruksi pesawat terbang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari pengaruh shot peening mesin otomatis terhadap laju perambatan retak fatik pada material Al 7050-T7651 serta membandingkannya dengan shot peening mesin manual.Spesimen dibentuk sesuai dengan standar ASTM E647, diidentifikasi dengan nama base metal shot peened– automatic machine (BMSPA). Proses perlakuan shot peening dilakukan di area surface treatment PT. Dirgantara Indonesia menggunakan mesin otomatis. Selanjutnya pengujian perambatan retak fatik dilakukan dengan mesin Servopulser di Lab. Bahan Teknik Jurusan Teknik Mesin UGM, dengan beban sekitar 11% dari tegangan tarik maksimum (spesimen standar ASTM E8M) yang dihubungkan dengan analisis beban kombinasi, dengan stress ratio R=0,1. Data hasil uji tersebut diolah menggunakan metode incremental polynomial untuk mendapatkan hubungan da/dN - ΔK. Hasil uji perambatan retak fatik menghasilkan angka konstanta Paris A=1,874×10-8dan n=1,06 jika dibandingkan hasil penelitian sebelumnya untuk spesimen AR as received material-tanpa perlakuan dengan A=1,288×10-9dan n=2,02; dan BMSP base metal shot peened-manual machine  dengan A=1,286×10-9 dan n=2,01. Semakin rendah nilai konstanta Paris, menunjukkan semakin rendahnya laju perambatan retak fatik. Sehingga perlakuan shot peening dengan mesin otomatis lebih mampu menurunkan laju perambatan retak fatik daripada mesin manual atau tanpa perlakuan.

Abstract

Internet needs in education has become a basic requirement, whether it is for faculty, students, complementary components of universities such as bureaus, public relations, TU, and non-academic staff. As the number of Internet users continues to increase, especially in educational institutions, including STTA’s, an observation of the STTA Internet network data stream is conducted. A parameter to be observed is user's load, as it affects the quality of services that will be generated by the STTA Internet Network.This research provides an analysis to measure the size of user load as well as to know the amount of loss so that it can be a reference in subsequent research to reduce the amount of loss in order to fit in the good category traffic. Model sharing system is used to describe traffic data both elastic and stream at flow level.Observation results show that the average arrival rate of STTA is 11 kbps with average service rate of 59 kbps. This research uses the measured throughput of 86 Mbps. Throughput is calculated from the total number of bits of a successful packet arrivals per second via a network system. With the Internet link capacity of 100 Mbps STTA, after the analysis by the method of sharing system, it is seen that the traffic flow loss is 16%. From this traffic flow loss value, it can be concluded that the STTA’s Internet is include in medium category.

Abstract

At present in developing countries, especially in Puskesmas very rarely encountered health workers, especially specialists. Though parents are in need of specialists, especially a specialist in the field of child health sciences. Puskesmas officials often have difficulty in deciding what diseases suffered by children because of lack of knowledge about the types of infectious diseases caused by bacteria. This is where the role of an expert or an expert in the field of childhood disease is needed. Therefore, to handle the problem it requires an expert system to diagnose respiratory infections in infants so that this system can be used to diagnose respiratory infections in infants using Bayesian Network method to determine what kind of illness and how to solve it. Maksimal 200 kata berbahasa Inggris dicetak miring dengan Times New Roman 10 point. Abstrak harus jelas, deskriptif, dan harus memberikan gambaran singkat masalah yang diteliti. Pada umumnya harus diikuti dengan pernyataan tentang metodologi dan ringkasan singkat hasil penelitian. Abstrak harus diakhiri dengan komentar tentang pentingnya hasil atau kesimpulan singkat.

Abstract

Wedang Uwuh Instan Sruput is one of the business unit of Industrial Engineering Program,Faculty of Engineering,Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta.Wedang Uwuh Sruput is an innovative manufacture of wedang uwuh into instant from the original form of whole and raw spices.The resulting product results sometimes have different quality/taste in each production process.The purpose of this research is to improve product quality of Wedang Uwuh Instan Sruput,improve the composition of herb wedang uwuh product,improve the concept of packaging and improve the marketing of the wedang uwuh products.The object of this research is Wedang Uwuh Sruput Prodi Teknik Industri UST.The materials used are instant wedang uwuh maker such as ginger,clove leaf,cinnamon leaf, secang wood,cloves,lemongrass,sugar and water.Identification is done on factors that affect product quality in order to create the same product in the market.The experiment was conducted by performing several times of Wedang Uwuh Sruput production with several variations of composition/formula using Taguchi method to maintain product consistency and quality.In this experiment there are 4 factors(sugar,ginger,water and secang)with 3 level design,that is 2,8 kg;2.9 kg and 3.0 kg for sugar,1.0 kg;1.2 kg and 1.4 kg for ginger,water is 5.0 L;5.2 L and 5.4 L,while the secang is 200 gr,210 gr,220 gr.The difference of the output of Wedang Uwuh Sruput is caused by the difference of sugar content,the difference of ginger content,the difference of the amount of water and the difference of the number of secang used,the use of different raw material specification,the length of production process is not same and the production process is still manual.The result shows that Waste which has the highest weight is waiting with the value of 0.252 at rank 31.Then the calculation of sigma value at early check is at the level of 3,001 sigma and final check at 2,455 sigma level.From the calculation of sigma level can be seen that the level of quality in Business Unit Wedang Uwuh "Sruput" is still far from lean six sigma target.Therefore,the advice given to the Business Unit Wedang Uwuh "Sruput" in the form of corrective actions that have been analyzed in this study.It was found that the most appropriate composition based on consumer preferences was Sugar 2.9 kg;Ginger 1.4;Water 5 L; and Wood Secang 200 gr. Keywords: Lean Six Sigma, Taguchi, Packaging, Marketing, Wedang Uwuh Instan Sruput

Abstract

This study aims to improve the economic value of farmers' land in the district of Bantul, so that the land has a higher economic value with the appropriate plants. Many farmers are still using self-learning and experience from generation to generation in determining the pattern of plant species, so that the harvest not optimal. So we need a system that can help farmers to determine the type of tuber plants suitable for chemical substances land. The research was conducted in Bantul District for data collection in the field. The results of data collection in the field can be a benchmark for the decision of farmers to determine the type of tuber plants to be planted based on the criteria of soil nutrition. Criteria is a barometer determining the type of tuber is KTK, O, Ca, C / N, Magnesium, Carbon. This research uses genetic algorithm. The results showed that the best tuber plant rank in Bantul Regency was the first rank of red onion, followed by garut bulbs, sweet potato and root talas. Genetic algorithm can be applied for tuber selection in Bantul regency, but has a weakness because it is probabilistic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan kawasan rawan resiko bencana gempabumi di Propinsi NTB menggunakan metode PSHA untuk mendapatkan peta probabilitas peak ground acceleration secara periodik berdasarkan data gempa terbaru di zona megathrust dan zona background sebagai salah satu upaya mitigasi bencana gempabumi. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada data kejadian gempabumi di Propinsi NTB dan sekitarnya selama 116 tahun yang diolah menggunakan software Ez-Frisk 7.52. Kerangka kerja menggunakan metode PSHA dimulai dari tahapan pengumpulan data gempabumi selama 116 tahun pada koordinat -6,33° LS sampai  -11,33° LS dan 112,45° BT sampai 119,83°BT diperoleh dari katalog gempabumi USGS, ISC dan ANSS. Selanjutnya melakukan konversi magnitudo kedalam skala magnitudo momen sebelum dilakukan identifikasi gempabumi menggunakan kriteria Gardner dan Knopoof untuk mendapatkan parameter a-b. Penentuan fungsi atenuasi berdasarkan pemodelan sumber gempa yang ditentukan oleh peneliti, yaitu sumber gempa subduksi interface (megathrust) dan sumber gempa subduksi intraslab (deep background). Perhitungan nilai peak ground acceleration menggunakan dasar teori probabilitas total yang telah dikembangkan oleh Cornell. Hasil percepatan spektra akibat sumber gempa subduksi di Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat berdasarkan analisis probabilistik berkisar antara 0.04 g – 0.1 g untuk periode ulang 500 tahun, sedangkan untuk periode ulang 2500 tahun adalah 0.08 g – 0.3 g. Untuk sumber gempa shallow background berkisar antara 0.1 g – 0.3 g untuk periode ulang 500 tahun, sedangkan untuk periode ulang 2500 tahun adalah 0.2 g – 0.5 g. Sedangakan untuk sumber gempa deep background berkisar antara 0.2 g – 0.3 g untuk periode ulang 500 tahun, sedangkan untuk periode ulang 2500 tahun adalah 0.3 g – 0.4 g.

Abstract

Simulasi numeric aliran fluida tak mampat dilakukan menggunakan metode beda hingga. Persamaan atur yang digunakan terdiri dari persamaan kontinyuitas dan persamaan momentum untuk aliran tak tunak dan fluida tak mampat. Persamaan atur didiskretisasi menggunakan metode beda hingga implicit pada grid staggered. Diskritisasi turunan waktu didekati dengan metode Euler dan turunan ruang didekati dengan metode beda hinggga. Prosedur penyelesaian persamaan atur menggunakan skema pressure correction. Perbandingan hasil perhitungan nilai kecepatan u pada x=0.5 dengan hasil perhitungan dari literature menunjukkan kesesuaian yang baik.Metode beda hingga pada grid staggered mampu menyelesaikan persoalan aliran fluida tak mampat sampai dengan bilangan Rey= 104.Kata kunci: metode beda hingga, grid staggered, pressure correction

Abstract

Jumlah penumpang, barang dan jasa transportasi udara di Indonesia menunjukkan angka dan grafik yang terus meningkat. Dalam perkembangannya, pada awal tahun 2003 kapasitas Bandar Udara Internasional Adisutjipto sudah mulai dirasakan tidak layak, maka dengan latar belakang di atas maka penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitalif. Dengan pendekatan tersebut maka didapatkan Respon pengguna jasa penerbangan di Bandar Udara Internasional menunjukan 71% setuju bila bandara Jogja dipindahkan ke daerah Kulon Progo dikarenakan 89% dari responden memberikan respons bahwa lokasi Bandar Udara Internasional Adisutjipto sudah tidak layak lagi untuk menampung jumlah penumpang yang ada di bandara tersebut. Ketidaklayakan daya tampung disebabkan oleh meningkatnya jumlah pengguna jasa penerbangan dari tahun ke tahun
