Abstract

Eco-airport used to reinforce critical decisions and supervision, to improving the operations and quality. In simulation of Urban Modeling Interface (UMI), the environmental component is shown, FAR (Floor Area Ratio) aspects used to determine the density of buildings in an area, Lyfecycle aspect used to determine the amount of pollution produced by the building sector in the region, energy operation aspects used to know the needs of energy are in use. In this study was obtained, the content of the highest CO2 emissions in the building owned by floor 2 of ATC with 679.77 kgCO2 CO2 / m2.

Abstract

Parallel processing is a process of calculating two or more tasks simultaneously through the optimization of the computer system resource, one treatment models is a desktop system. The model allows to perform parallel processing between computers with specifications different computers. An implementation of a model network of workstations using MPI (Message Passing Interface). In this study, applied to the case of the low-pass filtering (LPF), a process in the image or the image of the shape of the filter that retrieves the data at low frequencies. filtering programs lowpass using the cosine transform MPI implemented by modifying the algorithm in the process on each node (computer). Depending on the test results, so that the processing speed of a parallel system is influenced by the number of nodes / processes and the number of frequency components that are processed. In the treatment of single larger process, the time it takes more and more and the value prop affects only the amount of high frequency data is filtered on the field. While parallel processing of more and more computers involved in the filter calculation process low-pass, plus the time required to perform the calculation.

Abstract

As one of the products of google, google drive software can be worn and used by computer users who have access to the Internet by using a gmail account. With this account also users of android based smartphone which is also a product of google google drive can access using the equipment. The easier and cheapness of the equipment that is used as cloud computing services to support the academy. This service is an application of academic information used by parents of students to access academic information in the form of academic data. The main source of data from a web server and is designed to upload data automatically academic on google drive, so that data can be read by users who have android smartphone. Academic data that can be seen in the form of pdf format. The software that is made is also tested by utilizing a user who has access to the service academies. The test results showed that the existing data on google drive in accordance with the student registration number is entered and accessed on android smartphone and a value is given using questionnaires and calculated the Likert method was 81.57%.

Abstract

Majority of Industrial Engineering student at Riau Island Univeristy - Batam are workers who mostly worked in the electronics industry and shipbuilding with different kind of work.In this research, the variables to be studied is work load  which is done on whether the worker was within normal limits and develop VO2 consumption equation for each of these jobs by doing research using bike ergonometer and doing manual handling. The data obtained from  recording of the heart rate, as well as student worker health data is later processed and searched the prediction equation using statistical methods such as the independence of the error test, test multicollinearity between independent variables and stepwise methodThe results showed from 240 students, 80% of student work on the electronics manufacturing and the rest in other areas and does not work. It is also at submaximal measurements using Ergocycle bike show in the 8th minute decrease in heart rate and so is the removal of objects in a decrease in heart rate in the 10th minute and classified in extreme jobs. There was also a correlation between VO2 maximum height and heart rate in order to get the equation VO2 = -0054 +0015 High HR + 8939 Keywords : consumption VO2, bike Ergocycle, workload, type of work

Abstract

User Interface Design and User Experience both on a website will make visitors want to linger on those websites. But otherwise, a User Interface Design and User Experience bad a website makes visitors leave the website. This study, will analyze the website at the College of Technology Adisutjipto (STTA) Yogyakarta from the point of view of the user interface and user experience that is part of the Human Computer Interaction (HCI), in order to evaluation  and follow-up the website STTA to better meet expectations of users / visitors. The test result can be concluded that website STTA has Usability and Quality of Information is good, and Content, Pleasure, Classic Aesthetics, Expressive Aesthetics is enough

Abstract

The fast progress in telecommunication, especially in data communication, makes anyone get the information they need easily. It also makes more traffic in the channel. The intensity of the traffic is one of the parameters that considered by the IT unit. In this paper, the intensity of the traffic in institution A is calculated using Sharing System Teletraffic Model. Abstract

This research is aimed to know the effect of mixing time, mixing speed and curing temperature on morphological and mechanical properties of epoxy-albasia wood fiber composites. The method used in the manufacturing process was hand lay-up method. The fibers with 30 mesh and 25% volume fraction are mixed with epoxy for the time variations of 15 and 45 minutes by speed variation of 695 rpm, 773 rpm, and 853 rpm. In order to investigate the effects of curing temperature, the same mixture was blended manually for 20 minutes and cured with the temperature variation of 40, 50, 60, 70 and 800C. Experimental results show that mixing the fiber and matrix with the speed of 695 rpm for 15 minutes increases the tensile strength but slightly declines the impact strength. This phenomenon could be possibly caused by the longer the mixing time, the higher the amount of foreign particles entered into the mixture that could affect its properties. Both the tensile and impact tests show that the temperature of 80oC is the optimum curing temperature for epoxy-albasia wood fiber composites. Crack deflection presented by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) micrographs results in an increase in the crack propagation path and in the energy-dissipating events in the region immediately ahead of the crack tip.

Abstract

The important aircraft combat role for air defense, based on the state to develop a fighter with capabilities increasingly sophisticated. Until 2016, the fighter who is still being developed fighter 4th generation and 5th generation. Basically, the classification generation combat aircraft does not have a basic standard. In this study, will be evaluating of fighter technology in the world of the configuration aspect. Based on the configuration and design goals, there were marked differences between the 4th and 5th generation. Studies in the literature data come only in the form of printed and electronic articles are public domain data. Part studied in pattern 4th and 5th generation are nose, wing, fuselage, tail, engine and weapon configurations. The fifth generation fighter concept is low Radar Cross Section, so that the aircraft is difficult to identify the other. This concept is in the design of the internal weapon bay, blended wing body, internal fuel tank, low observable inlet, and the use of radar absorbent material in the composite. Each aircraft that does not have these characteristics, it is included in the fourth generation. The results of the study can be used as reference for the development of 4th or 5th generation fighter.

Abstract

This study aimed to establish the type of Savonius wind turbines that capable of generating electric power of 200 Watts. This objective relates to Bantul District Government program which plans to build wind turbin generating electrical power (Pembangkit  Listrik Tenaga Bayu, PLTB) 200 Watt as a backup power source for powering cooling fish caught by fishermen in the southern coast. Savonius Turbine chosen with consideration that it has simple construction so that the cost is not expensive, not depending on the direction of the wind, and is suitable for small power plants.Design of Savonius turbine blade has been completed, the turbine blade height 168 cm and a diameter of 55 cm. Blade turbine mounted on an arm along 55 cm from the turbine shaft and separate 120º. The turbine is supported by a 3-foot-tall turbines framework 2,5 m iron box 4 cm x 4 cm. The test simulated to determine the turbine rotation has been performed at varying wind speeds, i.e. 2 m /s, 4 m /s and 6 m /s.Based on test results, the turbine is capable of rotating an average of 54,2 rpm at a wind speed of 2 m /s; 86,8 rpm at a wind speed of 4 m /s; and 124,2 rpm at a wind speed of 6 m /s. These test results indicate that the Savonius turbines can be used to drive a generator producing the need of electrical energy

Abstract

Abstract— 3D computer graphics are often referred to as 3D modeling is the process of developing a mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of an object (either inanimate or living) via specialized software. The design of aircraft at the present time can use a variety of methods one using software Blender and NURBS technique. In the manufacture of aircraft models used animation production process flow is divided into three stages: pre-production, production and post-production. Pre-production stage such as modeling, texturing, rigging. Stage productions such as animating, lighting, rendering. In the manufacture of pre-production stage takes precision accuracy settings using NURBS techniques. While in the post-production stage that is animating, lighting and rendering is done by using video editing blender. Keywords—NURBS Technique, design, 3D animation
