Abstract

 The study aimed at measuring the effect of translanguaging approach in teaching Arabic reading comprehension to the second semester students of Indonesian Education Department, Universitas Iqra Buru. 64 students involved as the participants through simple random sampling technique. 32 students participated in each of the experimental and control group. The researchers used reading test of written test to obtain information about the students’ achievemnt in reading on the use of translanguaging approach and it was distributed to the respondents after the last treatment given. To find out the mean score, standard deviation and the t-test value between the pretest and the posttest the researchers used the SPSS 17 program. The researchers found that the use of translanguaging approach in learning Arabic reading comprehension improves the students’ ability of Arabic reading comprehension is better than the conventional method.

Abstract

This research is aimed to reveal the appropriateness of Arabic textbook for the first grade of Islamic Elementary School/ Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) published by Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia in 2014 by using scientific approach. In analyzing this textbook, the researcher used library research and analyzed it by using content analysis and utilizing the theory of Arabic textbook arrangement by Nashir al-Ghali, besides that, the researcher also analyzed it by considering four aspects of Arabic textbook arrangement by Mackey which involves: selection, gradation, presentation, and repetition. And to identify either the textbook is appropriate or not to use based on 2013 curriculum standard, therefore, the researcher used regulation of Ministry of Religious Affairs (PMA) of Indonesia, Number: 0912 years 2013 about 2013 curriculum for madrasah of Islamic education and Arabic subjects as references. The result of the analysis on Arabic textbook with scientific approach of 2013 curriculum for the first grade of Islamic elementary school (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) published by Ministry of Religious Affairs in 2014 showed that it was relevant and appropriate to be used to the students at the first grade of elementary level (Madrasah level) as material source that can support to achieve the goals of Arabic learning.

Abstract

Facebook is a social media that is very popular with students in Indonesia. Thus, this study attempted to examine the increased of students’ Arabic acquisition through Facebook group learning. This research was quantitative research using quasi-experimental design. The sample of this study consists of two classes from the students of the Arabic language education department at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim. The instrument of this research was writing test. The results of this study indicated an increase of students’ Arabic acquisition so the researchers concluded that Facebook groups can improve the students’ ability to write in Arabic.

Abstract

Student Problems Arabic Language Department Mohammedia University in Matamaram: Students can not appreciate the vocabulary skills. Students can not read well and do not understand what they have read. To acquire those skills, education needs to be taught in a way that is appropriate for students. Such as the program of reading aloud to help students.In this study, the researcher used the qualitative approach. The qualitative research is usually special in social science, which is essential to the observation of people in their environment, their treatment, their languages and their methods. The researcher starts from the data and may use the scientific theories for clarification.The results are: training in reading of the students of the Department of Arabic Language Education, Since the academic year 2014-2015. It has succeeded in helping students. This program was a "visual reading training" for the students of the Arabic Language Department two hours a day. The process begins with reading aloud, presents and shows the new vocabulary individually in front of the classroom, reflects and shows the material they read and then has the opportunity to question and answer with their friends. They read again a literal reading, then write in their writing what they think about their reading. This program succeeded in solving students' linguistic problems. Students are able to read well, acquire language and vocabulary proficiency.

Abstract

The results of this study are: 1) the educational curriculum in the KKNI which contains: (a) educational objectives consisting of cognitive, managerial, behavioral and behavioral aspects, (b) material for reading skills, and (c) composition; 2) Textbooks contain: (a) objectives and achievement indicators, 1) Arabic language curriculum based on IQF which contains: (a) educational objectives consisting of cognitive, managerial and behavioral aspects, (b) themes that are in line with the Ahwal Syahshiyah department, (c) teaching methods that are used, (d) basic rules, (e) evaluation of reading skills, (f) vocabulary. 3) This book is good to use because it affects the improvement of academic achievement.The results of the study show that the education process considers students as the center of explorative, applied and collaborative teaching and learning activities.

Abstract

Kecintaan terhadap agama Islam hendaknya mulai ditanamkan sejak dini. Beragam cara dapat diupayakan, salah satunya dengan menggunakan metode sederhana yakni pengenalan huruf hijaiyah sebagai huruf yang digunakan didalam menyusun kata bahasa Arab yang merupakan bahasa kitab suci dan tuntunan agama umat Islam sedunia. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh media pembelajaran edukatif dalam hal ini berupa jigsaw puzzle terhadap minat belajar huruf hijaiyah anak usia dini kelas B di TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 6. Pendekatan eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian pre-eksperimental design adalah metode dalam penelitian ini. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh anak didik kelas B tahun ajaran 2017-2018 yang berjumlah 12 anak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh rata-rata pre-test 15,415 dan rata-rata post-test 32,375. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan t-test diperoleh thitung = 9,133 untuk dk = 11 dan α=5% diperoleh ttabel sebesar 0,69745 yang berarti thitung ttabel, maka Ha diterima. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan minat belajar peserta didik kelas B TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 6. Perhitungan besar peningkatan kosakata anak digunakan normalized gain.

Abstract

The world today has witnessed a strong demand for learning the Arabic language whether in the Arab countries or the non-Arab countries and this language is gaining importance day by day. The teaching of Arabic has expanded throughout the world, and its educational approaches have expanded, including the communicative approach. The aim of this study is to present a proposed vision for teaching Arabic language through communicative approach. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical method. The study concluded that the learning program of communicative Arabic language should has several things, including: the educational aspects of the implementation of pedagogy, the role of the teacher, the role of the learner and the role of subjects, focus skills, other interests like teaching time, information technology and environment, and good preparation of the Arabic language communication textbook

Abstract

This study aimed at discovering various uslub used in the Arabic language. The researcher used library research and analyzed it by utilizing the theories of balaghah and analyzing how native speakers use their Arabic. Every language has its way of the technique of structuring words. Moreover, this way of technique means the method or the style used to share one's ideas and feelings so that they reach to their supposed target and could be understood by all the readers or the listeners. So does it what occur in the Arabic language that has various ways of teaching which will not only focus on the shift of reading marks but also on diction, subjects positioning, verbs, or objects those who play a role in making the way if teaching happen. To see a level of Arabic language proficiency, the way one uses uslub with its relevancy to the situation and condition can be seen as one parameter. Furthermore, the discussion on uslub cannot be separated from ilm balaghoh. Ilm balaghoh consists of 3 fields of discussion such as albayan, al maani, and al badi which have interlinked relation with uslub. This is because even each field might have its focus to be discussed, they will still collide in the discussion of uslub.

Abstract

Interferensi sering terjadi pada pembelajar bahasa asing karena adanya dominasi gramatikal bahasa pertama pada diri pembelajar ketika mereduksi makna ke dalam bahasa target atau bahasa kedua. Interferensi dapat diidentifikasi dengan dua pendekatan, yaitu; analisis kontrastif dan analisis kesalahan berbahasa. Tujuan dari hasil studi dan analisis yang telah dilakukan, untuk mengetahui beberapa struktur bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa pertama yang masuk dan mendominasi dalam struktur bahasa arab. Hal ini tampak jelas pada beberapa kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh pembelajar bahasa dalam berbahasa Arab dalam ragam bahasa tulis  (insya’) ataupun lisan (mukhadatsah), dan kesalahan tersebut ditemukan pada beberapa pola dan struktur kalimat dalam mengungkapkan sebuah makna (ta’bir) atau makna yang diungkapkan oleh pembelajar dengan bahasa yang digunakannya.Terdapat beberapa unsur sintaksis bahasa Indonesia (L1) yang mendominasi dalam pola struktur bahasa Arab pada ragam bahasa tulis ataupun lisan yang digunakan oleh pembelajar bahasa Arab (L2), dan dominasi bahasa pertama tampak jelas dan ditemukan pada beberapa kesalahan pada bahasa kedua, diantaranya yaitu; 1) Pola kalimat P+O+S dengan kata kerja transitif. 2) Pola kalimat P+S+O dengan kata kerja transitif. 3) Pola kalimat D + M dengan menggunakan kata tugas (Jar). 4) Subjek dengan menggunakan an + Fi’il mudhorik. 5) Kalimat pola D + M dengan variasi Kaana wa akhowatuha. 6) Penggunaan kata sifat (tarkib bayani). 7) Penggunaan sifat berbentuk kalimat. 8) Penggunaan penghubung antar kata. 9) Penggunaan bilangan dalam kalimat. Kata kunci: interferensi bahasa, sintaksis, bahasa Arab, metode deskriptif kualitatif.

Abstract

Public speaking merupakan suatu teknik mengomunikasikan pesan atau pendapat di depan banyak orang, dengan maksud agar orang lain dapat memahami informasi yang disampaikan atau bahkan mengubah pandangan atau pendapat mereka masing-masing. Kegiatan kultum beberapa bahasa menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan public speaking santri ma’had Darul Hikmah. Sehingga adanya penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk meneliti bagaimana mencetak skill pubilc speaking santri ma’had Darul Hikmah melalui kegiatan kultum beberapa bahasa.Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian studi khasus karena penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis setiap individu dan menggali fenomena pada potensi public speaking skill santri ma’had dengan beberapa bahasa asing.Penelitian ini, dapat diketahui bahwa dalam mencetak public speaking skill seorang santri dapat dilakukan dengan beberapa cara, seperti cara yang dilakukan oleh Ma’had Darul Hikmah. Di Ma’had tersebut, para santri diajarkan agar terampil dan terbiasa berbicara didepan umum melalui kultum yang diadakan setelah sholat magrib. Tujuannya adalah untuk melatih keberanian santri saat berbicara di depan umum, dapat pula menjadi sebuah persiapan santri sebelum terjun di masyarakat.
