Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of the reading habits of learning outcomes Indonesian with fourth grade students of SDN 17 Bengkulu City. This type of research is quantitative with correlational research method. The sample in this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 17  Bengkulu City taken using technique total sampling. The research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet (questionnaire) and interview guidelines and documentation. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study using the correlation calculation. product moment. These results indicate that rcount is greater than rtable (0.320 > 0.281). From the statistical calculation result obtained significant valuet is greater than ttable (2,311 ? 1.684) with significance level ? = 0.05 (significance level of 5%), and the contribution of the variable x to y of r = 0.1024, which means that reading habits contributed 10.24% to the Indonesian student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the reading habits of learning outcomes Indonesian with fourth grade students of SDN 17 Bengkulu City correlation levels are included in the low category. Thus Ha received and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The  purpose  of  this  study  is  to describe  the  role  of  the  teacher  as  a  facilitator  in learning IPS class V SDN 12 Kota Bengkulu. The type of study used in this was descriptive      qualitative. The subjects of the research were the teacher and students of grade V SDN 12 Kota Bengkulu. The instrument of this study was the researcher by using the observation guidelines and interview guidelines. Technique of collecting data using observation and interview. The data obtained were analyzed by data reduction, data display and conclusion. Credibility test data through increasing persistence and triangulation. The results showed that as a facilitator in the learning IPS, the teacher already (1) Involving the students as the subject of learning, (2) Mastering of science to be studied, (3) Interesting and maintaining students interest. Based on the results of the study concluded that the role of teachers as facilitators of learning IPS has been implemented, but in the use of learning method and the use of instructional media must be improved again so that learning activities can be implemented more optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the Kaur language rhymes in accordance with the types of rhymes in the Kaur community of Bengkulu Province. The approach and type of research used are qualitative survey. The research location is Pengubaian Village, Gedung Sako II Village and Air Dingin Village, Bintuhan city, Kaur Selatan District, Kaur District. Subjects used as informants in the research are the chief of Kaur customary institutions in the village of Air Dingin, Community leaders Pengubaian villagers, and community leaders Gedung Sako II Village. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews to informants and documentation. The document obtained were analyzed by data reduction, data display, and conclusion. Validity of document using extension of observation, improvement of persistence, triangulation of source and member check. Research results collected fifty-two rhyme Kaur language rhymes contained in the three villages. Fourteen rhymes from the village of Pengubaian, eighteen rhymes from the village of Gedung Sako II and twenty rhymes from the village of Air Dingin. Based on the results of identification can be concluded that, from fifty-two Kaur language rhymes, which is adapted to the types of rhymes obtained, namely: a puzzle rhymes, nine advice rhymes, eight affection rhymes, three spirit rhymes, two custom rhymes, Three religious rhymes, eight witty rhymes, eleven figurative rhymes, six romance rhymes and one proverb rhymes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bahan ajar muatan lokal mengenal potensi Bengkulu lebih dekat terhadap hasilbelajar siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Eksperimental menggunakan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster random sampling. Sampel yang terpilih yakni IVA sebagai kelas eksperimen. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar tes pilihan ganda (multiple choice) yang diberikan melalui pretest dan posttest. Data hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial yaitu uji-t. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui hasil uji-t thitungsebesar 20,79> ttabel 2,064. Jadi Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan bahan ajar muatan lokal mengenal potensi Bengkulu lebih dekat terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri 04 Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

Indonesia is currently experiencing a national identity crisis. This is evidenced by the scientific study of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) that Indonesia is considered not ready to face the phenomenon of globalization in various aspects such as geography, economy, and culture. One effort that can be done by local communities as an effort to deal with the adverse effects of globalization is to use the values of local wisdom as a force. Local wisdom can serve as a filter for values that come from outside that are less suited to local cultural culture. This research is a qualitative research that express comprehensively some cases. The purpose of this research is to explore the potentials of local wisdom of Kediri people include (1) cultural background, (2) social background, and (3) agriculture and irrigation system in three subdistricts namely Kepung Subdistrict, Ngancar Subdistrict, and Semen Subdistrict. The results of this study indicate that (1) the majority of Kediri people are Javanese with strong Javanese custom by performing several rituals for nature conservation, (2) Kediri community social background with religious diversity but all goes well and peaceful and cultural preservation Strongly maintained, (3) the management of agricultural systems and irrigation society is very good and derived from generations of the Kediri kingdom proved by the existence of Harijing inscription.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the ability of students to understand the teaching materials on the history of the struggle of the people of Bengkulu local content subjects at three aspects of the history of the learning outcomes of academic skills (cognitive), awareness of history (affective), nationalism (affective). This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with descriptive methods and techniques percentage. The subjects were students of class VA amounting to 23 students. The research instrument used is a matter of objective test sheet form and the sheet observation / observasi.teknik data analysis by scoring on a multiple choice test and scoring on a sheet of observation / observation later described. From the research that VA grade students of State Elementary School 49 Bengkulu City was able to understand the history of the struggle of people teaching materials Bengkulu with an average of 68.11% in understanding the teaching materials on the history of the struggle of the people of Bengkulu local content subjects. However, if viewed from the completeness graders said VA has not been completed, because based on the assessment of students declared complete benchmark reference when getting values over 65 as much as 75-80%. It can be concluded that based on the calculation that has been obtained in the aspect of academic skills (cognitive) as many as 12 students (52.17%) were able to understand the history of the struggle of the people teaching materials Bengkulu, A total of 16 students (69.56%) had a history conscious attitude. And to nationalism as many as 19 students (82.60%) were able to have an attitude of nationalism.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the education of environmental-care characters through the Mahira Garbage-Free Program at SD Alam Mahira Kota Bengkulu consisting of planning, implementing, and evaluating. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the study were elementary school students of Alam Mahira Kota Bengkulu. Techniques Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is done by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Testing the validity of data using, persistence, triangulation technique, source triangulation and member check. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) Planning phase of Mahira Garbage free program includes preparation of work program of Mahira Bebas Sampah, scheduling activity schedule, and budget funding and activity fund source. (2) The implementation of the Mahira Garbage free program uses a strategy of habituation through conditioning, routine, programmed, spontaneous and exemplary. Implemented programs include socialization of the importance of maintaining cleanliness, daily and monthly cleanliness, provision of hygiene facilities, separating organic and inorganic waste, and utilizing waste into more useful items. (3) Evaluation of Mahira-Free Program for the students of Alam Mahira elementary school that is integrated in attitude assessment in each student progress report card. The conclusion is that the education of the environment-care character of the Mahira-Free Garbage program through the stages of planning, implementation, and Assessment.

Abstract

Penguasaan kosa kata sangat penting bagi siswa   Sekolah Dasar. Pada usia  7 – 13 tahun, anak mampu menguasai kosa kata dengan baik. Namun tingkat penguasaan kosa kata anak masih rendah dan guru masih menggunakan media yang kurang tepat, bahkan tidak mempergunakan media di kelas,sehingga siswa kurang tertarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengujiefektifitas pemakaian media boneka tangan dan pengaruh media boneka tangan pada penguasan kosa kata . Penelitian ini memakai rancangan eksperimen yang dilakukan pada satu kelompok saja tanpa kelompok pembanding (The One Group Pratest Posttest).Subyek penelitian Siswa SD ,dengan sampel data sebanyak 25 siswa. Data diolah dengan  SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada,Uji  Normalitas ,Homogenitas dan T Sampel Berpasangan dengan tingkat signifikan ?=5%, Hasil uji normalitas didapat nilai Kolmogorof-Smirnov iSig.0.200,dan Shapiro-Wilk 0.822 sehingga pada ?= 5%= 0.05 < Sig.= 0,sampel data berasal dari distribusi normal. Pada Uji Homogenitas Varians Levene Nilai Sig. 0.896, pada tingkat signifikansi ? = 5 % =0.05 < Sig.0.896 sehingga dapat dikatakan sampel data berasal dari varians yang Homogen, ,dapat disimpulkan pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%,rata-rata kemampuan kosa kata setelah perlakuan dengan memakai media boneka tangan (mean sebesar 66.98640 ) dibanding sebelum memakai media ( mean sebesar 63.7240 ), naik sebesar 3.26240. Dengan kata lain, pemakaian media boneka tangan berpengaruh signifikan pada tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Penelitian ini memberikan saran untuk mengatasi masalah yang ditemukan dalam penelitian.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1) Prestasi belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di kelas IV SD Negeri 12 Kepahiang belum memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal, 2) metode pengajaran masih kurang bervariasi. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan melalui penerapan metode simulasi pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 12 Kepahiang, untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa di kelas IV SD Negeri 12 Kepahiang melalui penerapan metode simulasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Reasearch) yang telah dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan  tindakan, tahap observsi dan tahap refleksi. Instrument yang digunakan terdiri dari lembar observasi guru dan siswa serta lembar tes tertulis dalam bentuk essay.Data tes dianalisis dengan menggunakan rata-rata nilai dan persentase ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan data observasi dianalisis dengan rata-rata skor dan kriteria skor. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu pada siklus I diperoleh nilai rata-rata skor observasi guru 27,75 dengan kreteria baik, dan rata-rata skor observasi siswa sebesar 27,25 dengan kreteria baik, pada siklus II rata-rata skor observasi guru meningkat menjadi 30,75 dengan kreteria baik dan rata-rata skor observasi siswa sebesar 30 dengan kreteria baik. Hasil analisis ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 38,70% dengan nilai rata-rata 6,82. Pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal meningkat menjadi 90,32% diikuti dengan nilai rat-rata yang juga meningkat menjadi 7,95. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode simulasi dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di kelas IV SD Negeri 12 Kepahiang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning of Civic learning in shaping  the character of  the students of grade V SD 12 Kota Bengkulu. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative naturalistic. The subjects of this research are teachers and  students  of grade V SD 12 Kota Bengkulu. The conclusions of this research are: (1) Teachers have not developed their own curriculum because they do not have time and do not understand the making of syllabus and RPP which is suitable with curriculum development. (2) Students do not understand the material given by the teacher  because the teacher only uses lecture method and does not develop contextual based learning materials, the material only from the students' book makes the students pay less attention to the teacher when the learning takes place. (3) The size of the classroom does not fully support the learningactivities.
