Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the socio-emotional skills of elementary school students through the Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) approach through three procedures, namely the development of new, more adaptive thoughts and behaviors, guiding students to utilize problem-solving strategies by playing and telling stories, and provide concrete examples with abstract ideas and emotions by learning new skills. This type of research is experimental research with Single Subject Design. The subjects of this study were 3 students at Bangkalan Martajasah Elementary School who had a low level of socio-emotional skills. The results showed that there was an increase in socio-emotional skills before-after getting a CCPT intervention. The conclusion that can be drawn from the study is that the CCPT intervention is effective in improving socio-emotional skills both individually and in groups. Suggestions from this study are that supervising teachers can use the CCPT approach as a preventive and curative effort for students who have low socio-emotional skills. For further research, it should be followed up using pure experiments using a control group.

Abstract

The Organization of the curriculum is a tool makes it easy to achieve student success in learning learning materials effectively. Teaching and learning activities that take place in the classroom without a clear curriculum will lead students to understand the lessons delivered. Organise the curriculum means choosing objectives are clear and objective and in accordance with the needs and interest of students. The organizational model of the curriculum is a subject approach, combined subjects, broad scope, integrated curriculum, core curriculum, activity curriculum. There are many elements contained in the Organization of the curriculum which could be a reference, ie: (1) the concept of Generalization, (2), (3) skill, and (4) values. There are several criteria in formulating an effective curriculum organization, ie: (1) the scope of the material (scope), (2) b. Sequence (sequance), and (3) c. placement of material (grade placement). Some procedures in reorganizing the curriculum can be through: (1) subjects, (2) patchwork, (3) analysis of activities, (4) social functions, (5) opinion surveys, (6) error studies, and (7) problem analysis teenager.

Abstract

Education can improve the degree of human life. The decline in the competitiveness of Indonesian workers is an evaluation of the role and function of education in Indonesia. Indonesia is the most populous country in Southeast Asia and most of its population works overseas as unskilled laborers. The role and function of education is being questioned, considering that education is the most appropriate tool to obtain a better future. Indonesia with its characteristic as an archipelago and has many ethnic groups and cultures is very different from other countries. Indonesia has thousands of islands, thousands of tribes, ethnicities, and cultures that should be used as the strength in supporting the creation of higher quality education. Indonesia through the local wisdom possessed by each region is expected to be able to become an excellence in creating globally oriented education and based on local wisdom. The values of local wisdom can be included in various joints in the implementation of education held based on the principles of the implementation of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce multimedia based on multiple intelligences and Pancasila values in the Educational Psychology course which: (1) is theoretically valid, (2) has a level of implementation, (3) attractiveness, and (4) high usefulness , and (5) effective in achieving learning objectives. This research includes development research. This study uses a simplification development model from Borg & Gall which includes: (1) preliminary study, (2) planning, (3) product design, (4) product validation, (5) product testing, and (6) final product. At the planning stage and product testing, the researcher is more clear to use a few modified steps from Dick & Carey. The results showed that the multimedia developed had very valid values with a percentage of achievement of 92%, had a very good level of implementation with 93% achievement percentage, 95% attractiveness rate, very useful with 92% achievement percentage and very effective with 95% achievement percentage to achieve the learning objectives in the material of human development theory, which is Educational Psychology.

Abstract

This research was purposed for knowing Students Respon Characteristic in Problem Based Learning Model based on SOLO Taxonomy. We know that, taxonomy was able to help teacher and students on the learning process. It was used for facilitating mental process, and reach out the aims of learning process. This research is qualitative, which has three steps of analyses. The first step is data reduction, the second is data presentation, the last is data verification. This researchment proves that elementary school student’s cognitive are in multistruktural level. It is proved by ten of twelve student’s answer that stop on the third question, eventhough, two of them are in higher level. SOLO taxonomy is easy to do in learning process, it can help teachers to know students cognitive level, so that they are able to choice the best strategy that fit in to learning process.

Abstract

This research presents the strengthening of mahasantri's memory towards Nahwu and Shorrof learning using mnemonic learning approach in Marhalah Tamhidiyah, Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. Mnemonic learning is an innovative and creative learning concept, which prioritizes fun learning and joy full learning, where students are invited to memorize while playing by utilizing all available media and learning resources around them. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The results of this research shows that the learning of Nahwu and Shorrof with the mnemonic learning approach in Marhalah Tamhidiyah Ma'had Aly Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo is done through; first, making of learning materials or teaching materials that are interesting and innovative are intended to arouse the motivation of students, help and facilitate students in learning Nahwu and Sharraf easily, effectively and efficiently. Abstract

This research was conducted at Karang Anyar 01 SDN Bangkalan. With the subject of the study were 34 fourth grade students. This study aims to determine the effect of contextual learning on the learning achievement of class IV students in civic education subjects at SDN Karang Anyar 01 Bangkalan. To find out the hypothesis proposed by the author is accepted and rejected. So the author uses data analysis with the t-test in the Paired Sample t-Test category, namely the t test used to determine whether or not there are differences in the mean between the two groups of pairs in pairs (related). The conclusion of the results of this study is "There is the effect of contextual learning on the learning achievement of class IV students in civic education subjects in SDN Karang Anyar 01 Bangkalan". Which shows t-count obtained at 9.0992. With a significant level of 5% it is worth 1,993. In other words, the price of t count is greater than t table  that is 9,0992 > 1,993 so automatically, the alternate hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected.

Abstract

Formal education is a conscious effort that has been carried out by managers of educational organizations. This education empties into the learning process of cognitive aspects, the ability to achieve academic achievements and tested through written examinations in school. Formal education has limitations reaching the affective and psychomotor aspects of students. These two aspects have a realm for presenting superior and high personality characters. Education should bring the character of students in accordance with the expectations of the vision and mission of the educational institution. These problems need to take steps to establish religious extracurricular activities in the form of Islamic Day and routine prayer services in schools so that they can form personalities based on religious values and norms. This study uses a qualitative research approach and the type uses case studies. This research was conducted at the Brawijaya Mojokerto Islamic Middle School which aims to determine the planning of religious extracurricular programs in schools, religious extracurricular activities in efforts to shape the religious character of students in schools, and evaluate the religious extracurricular implementation of the formation of religious character of students in schools.

Abstract

Motivation of achievement is the interest to achieve success in academics. Motivation of achievement demonstrated by efforts and seriousness in following each lecture and exercise the tasks. Mc Lelland suggests there are six characteristics of individuals who have the motivation high achievers among these: strong feelings for mecapai purpose, responsibility, take risks, are evaluative, creative and innovative, and like a challenge. To find out motivation of achievement in course learning materials development, then it needs to be done a study. This research used the qualitative approach. The model used in this study was a case study. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the interview and observation during course  learning materials development support the motivational characteristics of achievers. This means, in general student PGSD level II has motivated achievers in course learning materials development.
