Abstract

Efforts to develop the Islamic educational institutions is a necessity in the context of global economic developments which lately gave the signal the importance of increasing the independence and competitiveness of a coun- try in the international community, especially Indonesia will be confronted with the implementation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Ef- forts to reform the Islamic educational institutions can be done by improv- ing the quality of education. Similarly, the portrait on the challenges of educational institutions ahead with the competition so high that very many services offering of the educational institutions. The efforts of educational services marketing can be done with a good image branding strategy.In order to build relationships in the frame of branding image in the Is- lamic educational institutions is done by building brand awareness which is followed by building institutional perceived quality.

Abstract

Counseling is one of the counseling services, which serves to help the counselee gain understanding and clarify his views, to be used throughout his life, so he can make choices that are desirable and useful. Peer counseling skills, can occur when counselors are able to use counseling techniques and communication as well as mind-managing skills, called mind skills, which can be trained with experiential learning. This paper attempts to provide arguments and theoretical foundations about; the importance of peer counseling and counseling in Isalam, in enhancing peer counseling skills with mind skills in each counseling, since empirical studies have found that there are some counselors who can not provide comprehensive counseling services. Counselors in the field tend to be trapped with their own thoughts, so often overwhelmed by negative self-talk, and more play the role of a more experienced man, and then move his experience to the counselee

Abstract

This article is aimed to introduce the possible implementation of laboratory training in order to reduce a dicotomic based learning in Islamic education. Laboratory training assumes that first-hand experience in observation and manipulation of the materials of science is superior to other methods of developing understanding and appreciation. Laboratory training is also frequently used to develop skills necessary for advanced study and research. During the binarary opposition between West and East, between Islam and non-Islam, the educational institution needs a empircal ground of laboratory training as useful ways to provide the learners and educators attitudes and practical experiments to understand the possible effects of that dicotomy. This study further argues that laboratory training is to make sure that students are encouraged to have religious humanism as a philosophical basic of the Islamic teaching.

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the government to achieve the expected educational objectives. Starting from the centralization policy that changed into decentralization and then democratization to curriculum changes that are considered able to improve the quality and quality of education in Indonesia as a whole. However, the reality of educational output that occurs today is still covered by increasingly complex problems. Of all the problems of education, social disharmonization is the most striking picture indicating that education fails to form a civilized human being. This article seeks to review the evaluation of moral education on the subjects of Islamic Education and Civic Education. Both of these subjects are considered the most responsible for the ethics of thinking and behaving of educated human beings. According to the curriculum applied today the plans and learning process has been running well, but need to be re-constructed in the evaluation of student learning outcomes. In the hope that the main judgment is not just from the cognitive domain as a complete learning in the classroom, but more than that it is a real and permanent affective and psychomotor assessment in the student until he grows in the midst of a harmonious social society.

Abstract

Modern schools today keep expanding. A fact that can be seen, the product material, material, and human beings of modern schooling continue to color changes and the times. There are great expectations, the schools developed the Muslim community is also in synergy with the changes and development of the times. Tarbawi style Prophet Muhammad should be presented in the field of Islamic education process. The style of the Prophet Muhammad in initiating, managing, and developing school’s system has been able to produce an extraordinary man. The Companions of the Prophet Muhammad be a reflection of the success of the school is implemented Prophet Muhammad since the early delivery of the teachings of Islam. Studies in this paper tries to lift the behavior of historical facts Uswatun Hasanah in creating civilization prestigious to next-generation Muslims. Through qualitative methods, and data collection techniques snawball sampling, data sources can be tracked easily. From data collected found, portraits in some persekolah Islam at Madura is less well ordered because of the lack of willingness of managers to assess the values taught by the Prophet valuable in the texts of Islam (Quran and Hadith).

Abstract

Learning is a relatively permanent change in behavior as a result of ex- perience (intentional) and applied to other knowledge and able mengko- munikasikann to others. For this purpose, we need a lesson organized and interconnected with each other. New paradigm known as brain-compatible learning or brain-based education that is based on the brain’s ability to appear with stunning implications for teachers and learners around the world. Based on disciplines in neuroscience, biology and psychology, our understanding of the relationship between education and brain now leads us to the role of emotions, patterns, meanings, environment, music, move- ment, and enrichment. At the level of the concept of early childhood edu- cation, coaching and development of children associated with the forma- tion of human character completely. ECD is essential for the survival of the nation, it is important and needs to be taken seriously by the govern- ment. Abstract

Law  No.  20  of  2003  on  National  Education  System  which  mandates  that  the provision  of  education  conducted  by the  school-based  management  principles  / madrasah   is  evidence   of  seriousness   of  the  government   in  addressing   the aspirations of the people associated with the increased demands of the quality of education.  In order  to answer  the challenges  in the field  of education  and the expectations  of  society  in  the  form  of  guidance  to  improve  education  quality, school-based management / madrasah (MBS / MBM) is an absolute thing that must be addressed and implemented, because theoretically MBS / MBM no longer make the government as the central authorities of education, but occurs disenteralisasi autonomy and education in Madrasah.

Abstract

This research is an experimental research using pre-test post-test control group design. The subjects consisted of 56 high school grade X High School students selected using purposive sampling technique. Then 56 female students were placed into the control group and experimental group with the provisions of Class X Language 3 as a control group, while X Language 2 as the experimental class. Data collection was done by using test and non test. To ensure that the instrument has the validity and reliability that qualify, then conducted factor analysis and reliability test. Data analysis technique used for hypothesis is t-test technique. The results of this study indicate that the Word Box Association Method effectively increases learning motivation and the ability to memorize students. The average score of learning motivation and the ability to memorize at the time of posttest between the control group and the experimental group differed significantly. The mean score of learning motivation and memorization ability of the experimental group is higher than the control group's average score.

Abstract

This paper presents the theory of humanistic learning in improving student achievement. Learning is a process of acquiring science that is no other estuary to acquire values, knowledge, and practical skills as an effort to become a perfect human being. In this modern era education tends to be pragmatic. As a result of this is the process of education is no longer pay attention to student potential. The theory of humanistic learning is a theory whose focus of discourse focuses on the behavior of a human being. This theory assumes the student succeeds if the student understands her environment and herself. In this learning theory learners are expected to be free, courageous, unbound by others' opinions and manage their own personally responsibly without prejudice to the rights of others or violate applicable rules, norms, disciplines or ethics as well as teachers only as facilitators. With the free of students in developing their potential is expected to improve learning achievement.

Abstract

Education is the largest field of investment in building and shaping men(insanul kamil). Education touches are believed capable of forming a hu-man resources civilized and qualified. The family as an educational insti-tution first and foremost for children, has a considerable role in realizingthese ideals. The family as an institution has a function that is important inshaping personalities, social, religious attitudes of children. Error interac-tions within families due to less optimal family members in carrying outtheir roles and functions of each can give rise to various problems in thefamily. Kids are the most important asset in a family, religion and nation ofIndonesia. Therefore, Islam as a religion that rahmatan lil Alamin payingattention and signs in the implementation of education within the family.The role of parents and families have a tremendous impact on the growthand development of children.
