Abstract

The 2013 curriculum, apart from emphasizing character education, also adopts scientific lecturers in the learning process. Since the implementation of this curriculum has become a national policy until now, there are still many teachers who have not been able to implement the ideal standard in the education process in Indonesia. Taking the case at MA Ar-Raudlah, Tumapel, and Gresik, this study aims to reveal the problems teachers face in implementing K-13 in their educational institutions. This type of research includes qualitative research with a case study approach. This study concluded that teachers at MA Ar-raudlah Tumapel Gresik had problems implementing the 2013 curriculum, namely those related to pedagogy, professional, and social competency problems. In the pedagogical competence of teachers, it is found that it is still challenging to design and evaluate learning. As for the professional competence issues related to the lack of time in preparing teaching materials, and at the same time, minimal mastery in operationalizing technology. Then the problem of social competence is related to lack of interaction with students and teacher peers in educational institutions.

Abstract

Indonesia is the largest Muslim majority country in the world. So it makes perfect sense if Islam in Indonesia becomes the centre of civilization on the international scene. However, this achievement is not easy because it demands moral responsibility that Islam indeed shows its moderate and tolerant face. Why is this important? Because the entire Islamic region in the Middle East country, only shows Islam in front of conflict and war. So, the claim that the future of Islamic civilization in the world is in the hands of Indonesia is not a mere figment. For this reason, Indonesian Islam must be able to maintain and simultaneously make efforts to support the preservation of Islam that is friendly to all elements of the nation. For this reason, in this paper, the author describes how strategies so that Islam can become a value base to give birth to attitudes of moderates in the frame of Multicultural Islamic education.

Abstract

In the age of globalization like today, rapid technological developments have resulted in less interaction between family members, friends, and neighbors, indifference have resulted. Hence the government of the latdvillage adopted a clever program of my village’s 1821 movement that hopefully cement social ties with families and neighborhoods. From the background above, researchers gleaned about [1] How is The Urgency of the 1821 Movement Program in Growing Student Learning Activities in the Rochmatul Maula Islamic Boarding School in Latukan Village Karanggeneng Lamongan [2] What are the supporting and inhibiting factors of the urgency of the 1821 movement program in Growing Student Learning Activities in the Rochmatul Maula Islamic Boarding School in Latukan Village Karanggeneng Lamongan [3] What is the solution to the inhibitory factor of the 1821 movement program in Growing Student Learning Activities in the Rochmatul Maula Islamic Boarding School in Latukan Village Karanggeneng Lamongan. In this study, researchers descriptive qualitative research methods, with interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study include: 1) The 1821 movement program is very important in building family harmony, reducing dependence on gadgets an TV, and students are more active in learning, 2) The village government and also the Islamic boarding school have provided facilities such as forming a task force and providing a comfortable place to study, and what is hindering is the lack of awareness of residents of the benefits of the 1821 movement program, 3)  Approaching citizens and providing information on the importance of the 1821 movement program.

Abstract

Educational institutions in which there is an educational process, have a function not only in the aspect of developing science, but also have a mission to improve the quality of personality through good character. In this position, the teacher has a role in instilling inclusive values (tasamuh) in the learning process that can be applied in everyday life as well as the process in developing the potential of their students. Each educational institution or each teacher will have different tasamuh values in each habituation or teaching. Get used to communicating with others using the language of unity, namely Indonesian, helping each other, not blaming others, especially fellow Muslims, especially other religions, and respecting different principles and respecting others. This study focuses on the views of Islamic Education teachers about the concept of tasamuh and the actualization of the tasamuh attitude of Islamic Education teachers in the learning process at SMK NU Lamongan, MTs Putra Putri Lamongan, SD NU Banat-Banin Lamongan. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. This study shows that teachers play a role in developing tolerant attitudes to students in the school environment, social groups and even the community, through habituation and learning Islamic Education. The teacher's perspective on inclusive attitudes also plays a role in shaping the personality of students to be more open and respect all differences.

Abstract

The education system in Indonesia has experienced many changes since the change in the decentralized political system. Legally, these changes have been legitimized with various applicable laws and regulations. The leading spirit of the decentralization of education is to provide more full opportunities for regional authorities to innovate and take advantage of local excellence in the delivery of instruction. However, in addition to the many positive things that were obtained from the decentralization of education, several unfavorable things happened. Therefore, it is necessary to further and more in-depth study of the effectiveness of the implementation of school with a decentralized pattern.

Abstract

This reseach describes creative schools in developing the psychomotor  of students in the Rumah BelajarTanah Merah Bangkalan . this research qualitative research and a case study approach. The results of this research, The creative school designed by Rumah Belajar the Tanah Merah Bangkalan Learning House has the potential to increase the psychomotor domain of children, because edutainment methods, facilities. The facilities a re in accordance with the conditions of children and various outdoor and indoor programs, giving children the freedom to freely create and innovate without having to be too strict by school rules. In essence, they can learn while playing, in creative schools new innovations are needed, especially in teaching methods and classroom design in order to be able to present the fruits of their work from the age of 3 years to the age of 9 years. Besides that, there is a practical learning pattern. The children are directly invited to understand the lesson by practicing the contents of existing lessons. Like understanding the body structure of fish, they are invited to see the fish being dissected in front of the class

Abstract

One of the mandates of education is to form a superior personality, one of which is shown by the character of independence inherent in students as a result of the educational process. Thus, it is essential to research the internalization of the character of autonomy through the learning process of Islamic religious education. Research using this qualitative method aims to determine the implementation of Islamic Education learning and internalizing values. The study found, among others: 1) In the process of internalizing the teacher plays a significant role as a transmitter of values in the Islamic Education learning process; 2) The character of independence can be internalized properly, one of which is through the habituation method used by the teacher to students when Islamic Islamic Education learning takes place; 3) The actualization of the students' independence character values varies, either during the learning process or outside of school. This indicates that the internalization of values runs quite well through daily life and students' views of the values associated with the formation of an independent personality, such as having a learning ethos, self-confidence, and creativity.

Abstract

This article discusses the relationship between curriculum and teaching and its contextualisation in learning with multicultural values. This study is very relevant considering that Indonesia is a nation that consists of diverse ethnic groups and is rich in cultural and religious differences. This anthropological inevitability requires an ability that is compatible with existing cultural realities. In this context, education plays an important role in giving birth to people who do not stutter from differences. To that end, designing a curriculum with multicultural values while translating it into the learning process is an effort to continue to be actualized. The relational model between curriculum and teaching that allows in internalizing multicultural values includes: the dualistic model, the interlocking model, the concentric model and the cycle model.

Abstract

This study discusses the formation of students' religious character through humanist education at SMK NU 2 Kedungpring, Lamongan Regency. This research is a case study research using a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, seen from the data presentation technique in this study using descriptive methods. The method used in this research with data collection techniques is the technique of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the teacher acts as a trendsetter for the development of religious character through habituation, learning and interaction that emphasizes Islamic values. The factors that influence the formation of religious character through humanist education include the commitment of teachers who are not simultaneously in the development of religious character, besides that the lack of the number of religious teachers and the limited number of school facilities and infrastructure also affects the character building of humanist-religious students.

Abstract

The history of Islamic education is inseparable from the internal and external influences on the development and growth of Islamic education, these two influences accumulatively converge into one and produce a whole form of Islamic education in Indonesia. On the other hand the existence of the history of Islamic education has also long been the subject of studies conducted by some historians, both from within and from abroad. There have been many research results that inform Islamic education in Indonesia in a complete and comprehensive form. Based on this fact, the study of the history of Islamic education needs to be analyzed and applied to be used as reference material and references by Muslims themselves to better understand the journey and growth of Islamic education itself reviewed in Ibn Khaldun's perspective.
