Abstract

Any elections there is always a novice group criteria voters the age of 17 years old and upward or has been married at the time of the election was held. Existing reality shows that’s voters novice possessed of different characteristics with groups of voters and it has been choose. Question of the research are how political choice a student on the legislative election 2014 and what political factors inform the choices a student on the legislative election 2014. The results show that voters choice novice based by a factor of political vision and mission candidates. In addition in determining the choice is novice based on the consideration of the voters own.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berusaha menjejaki dua pendekatan yakni tradisionalisme dan beravioralisme dalam studi ilmu politik. Kedua pendekatan ini menarik untuk ditelaah karena pertama, miliki jejak sejarah dalam perkembangan ilmu politik. Kedua, memiliki objek kajiannya yang berbeda. Bila pendekatan tradisional aspek histroris-yuridisi maka bevaioralisme lebih menekankan pada sosiologis-psikologis. Perbedaan berikutnya adalah pemikiran tradisonal berkembang secara pesat di Eropa sementara pendekatan behavioralisme berkembang di Amerika Serikat. Tidak hanya itu, kehadiran pendekatan behavioralisme dalam studi ilmu telah menjungkirbalikkan pendekatan tradisional. Tanpa mengurangi bobot dan penilaian akan perselisihan antara dua pendekatan ini—yang jelas dan pasti adalah kedua pendekatan ini memberikan sumbangsih yang sangat berharga dalam perkembangan studi ilmu politik kontemporer.

Abstract

The research purpose is to describe students’ attitudes about their major studies in social and political faculty in Universitas Islam ‘45’, which are goverment science (IP) and public administration (IAN). Attitude concern is if they regard that both major have similarities to each other since they have almost same competencies. The attitude levels are affective, cognitive, and behavior as for cognitive is the most dominant level evaluating both majors. This survey research uses descriptive method, with 27 respondents in the process of writing of final research from both major. The result shows positive tendencies from all level of students attitude (mode=4), especially cognitive. It means that both students group (government science =17 and public administration=10) has same attitude concluding that both of major studies are similar. T-test also shows no significant value (p ≥ .05) which means both students group have no differences attitude.

Abstract

Discipline theoretically is a condition that is created and formed through a process of behavior, learning, compliance, obedience, loyalty, and respect to therules and norms. Concomitant with leadership, discipline in the workplace covers aspects of morality, awareness to do something consciously, understanding theworking system based on rules and norms, exemplary leader’s personal attitude as an actualization of public service motivation. Discipline is one factor that determines the success of a leader to run an organization as expected by its members. Leader’s discipline would become a role model which is characterizedby rule obedience, teamwork, positive mental attitude, excellent physical appearance, and sound interpersonal communication skill. Discipline implementations as explained above continually would become a requirement of a leader who is intentionally serve the community, not to forget fulfill physical needs with healthy meals, appropriate suits, and effective time management so that daily activities would be fulfilled with joy and enthusiasm.

Abstract

It’s rather difference than Plato’s political idea, Aristotle expanded his political views into more scientific models. He elaborated the ideas of democracy, oligarchy, tyranny, and more which are becoming fundamental to basic knowledge of political studies. In spite of its classiness, Aristotle had put great contributions to basic political studies. All students studying politic need to see this philosophical aspect of politic and government.

Abstract

The dynamics of regional economy development that all this time is moved by domestic consumption needs to be pushed by investment and export. For thatreason, conducive investment climate is needed. It is a climate that encourages someone to do investment with cost and risk as low as possible and produces high and long term profit. There are some factors which influence the investment, namely politic and social stability, base infrastructure condition, financing sector, labor market, regulation, taxation, bureaucracy, corruption, consistency and policy assurance.

Abstract

Justice contains a universal moral values of which is a basic human right and all over the world, as well as with the Indonesian nation, social justice ideals and objectives of Indonesia as stated in the Preamble to the Constitution of 1945 Alenia fourth. But in the application of the universal values of justice, there are several different principles of justice between one to understand that theories. But in the application of the universal values of justice, there are several different principles of justice to understand. This literature study raised the theory of justice John Rawls's principle of "justice as fairness" in philosophical reflection and analysis in the context of the Indonesiaan analysis in the context of the philosophical reflection and analysis in the context of Indonesia's. Essentially seen some equality principle / John Rawls's views on social justice with the principles of social justice in Indonesia.

Abstract

Democratization process in Indonesia cannot be separated from the role of civil society which develops through nongovernmental organization. After the collapse of New Order bureaucracy regime, the process seems like apparent death. The confusion over the emergence of ‘the anti-democracy wave’ is increasingly filed through. Therefore, the hope for the raise of civil society as driving force for democratization process emerges, so that the inversion to the new authoritarianism cannot be happened.

Abstract

The ideal region development is the balance inter regional development. Disparity of region development in Indonesia has been in pathetic condition both in the balance between rural and urban area and inter regional of the west, middle, and east of Indonesia area as well. One of the efforts that can be done is from the development planning process both in sectoral and development area. The prudence in planning is preventive action to produce the exact output policy.
