Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of character education through self-development which was carried out in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo, the policies of the leadership of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 in the application of character education and what factors were supporting and inhibiting the application of character education through self-development in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI. 1 Palopo. This research is included in the category of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results showed that the application of character education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo was integrated into learning by taking into account three aspects, namely teaching, exemplary, and evaluation. The madrasa principal's policy in implementing character education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo is carried out by working meetings (Raker) with the board of educators in instilling character values in students. As well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of character education through self-development of students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah DDI 1 Palopo.

Abstract

The aims of this reseach to describe the leadership style of the head school at SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta to determine the performance of teachers in at SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta, to know the internal factors that contribute to developing the performance of educators in SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta, and to understand external factors that contribute in developing the performance of educators at SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta. This research is qualitative research that uses a religious approach, pedagogic approach, and managerial approach. Data collected by observation, interview and documentation. Data analyzed using by data reduction, data display, triangulation and conclusion. The result shows that leadership style of the principal of SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta applies decocratic style but apply authoritarian leadership when it is needed. Performance of teachers in SMP Negeri 2 Baebunta are accordance with the expectation of the principal where planningof learning, implementation of learning and the implementation of assessment have been going well likewise with the result of teachers’ performance includes the assessment of UTS and the UAS values are well. Internal factors consist strength and weakness include facilities and infrastructure teachers, and leadership of principal. External factor consist of opportunities and challenges can be seen from government policies, information and communication technology, and cooperation between the school parties.

Abstract

Tujuan pengorganisasian adalah agar dalam pembagian tugas dapat dilaksanakan dengan penuh tanggungjawab. Dengan pembagian tugas diharapkan setiap anggota organisasi dapat meningkatkan keterampilannya secara khusus (spesialisasi) dalam menangani tugas-tugas yang dibebankan. Apabila pengorganisasian itu dilakukan secara serampangan, tidak sesuai dengan bidang keahlian seseorang, maka tidak mustahil dapat menimbulkan kegagalan dalam penyelenggaraan pekerjaan itu. Evaluasi merupakan bagian dari kegiatan kehidupan manusia sehari-hari. Disadari atau tidak, orang sering melakukan evaluasi, baik terhadap dirinya sendiri, terhadap lingkungan sosialnya, atau lingkungan fisiknya. Evaluasi dilakukan seseorang dari hal-hal yang sangat sederhana sampai yang sangat rumit. Hal ini dilakukan supaya seseorang menentukan arah pengembangan dirinya. Evaluasi atau penilaian berarti usaha untuk mengetahui sejauh mana perubahan itu telah terjadi melalui kegiatan belajar mengajar.

Abstract

This researched focused in school climate at SMA Negeri 4 Luwu include school environment, school regulation, principal’s leadership, and interpersonal relation. Data source of this research were principle, teachers, staffs, and students of SMA Negeri 4 Luwu in Luwu Regency. Data collecting by using interview, observation and documentation. Data was analized by data reduction, data display and conclusion/verification. The research shows that there are four aspects of the school climate related to the conditions of the school climate, namely aspects of the school environment which include the cleanliness of the school environment and the regularity of the school environment, school rules which include school rules and penalties or sanctions, principal leadership which includes motivation and cooperation, and relationships. interpersonal relationships that create mutual respect, mutual trust, and caring relationships between school members.

Abstract

Konseptualisasi lingkungan atau alam dalam Islam merupakan pemahaman rasional terhadap ayat-ayat kauniyah yang terbentang di hadapan manusia, di samping ayat-ayat qauliyah yang cenderung menjelaskan tentang alam dan seluruh isinya.Keberadaan alam dan seluruh benda-benda yang terkandung di dalamnya merupakan suatu kesatuan yang tidak terpisahkan. Secara keseluruhan saling membutuhkan, dan saling melengkapi kekurangannya. Kelangsungan hidup dari setiap unsur kekuatan alam terkait dengan keberadaan hidup kekuatan lain. Kejadian alam dan apa yang di dalamnya saling mendukung sehingga ia disebut alam secara keseluruhan. Alam dan apa-apa yang ada di dalamnya seperti tumbuh-tumbuhan dan binatang termasuk manusia dan benda mati yang ada di sekitarnya, serta kekuatan alam lainnya seperti angin, udara dan iklim hakekatnya adalah bagian dari keberadaan ecologi alam

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the implementation of system information management and administrative services at SMA Negeri 1 Barru. This research is a field research using qualitative methods and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques used were interviews and observation. The results showed that the application of management information systems in supporting administrative services at SMA Negeri 1 Barru had been well implemented by utilizing all facilities and infrastructure facilities as a foothold in optimizing the application of system information management.

Abstract

This study aims to determine aspects of context, input, process and product Islamic Instructional Design in SMAN 4 Palopo. This study is a qualitative research. The approach  was management. Analysis of the data used were descriptive analysis by performing data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that: (1) According to context, form of Islamic instructional design used was a curriculum-based learning design in 2013 formulated individually. The teachers' qualifications were accordance with the educational background and pedagogical competence of some teachers was still less than the maximum, and supporting factors were computer, papers,  and printer. (2) According to input, the support  of school and effort of the teachers was still less than the maximum. (3) According to process, the suitability of the utilization of the Islamic instructional design was sometimes appropriate and sometimes not appropriate. The time of making the Islamic instructional design conducted beginning of each semester, although sometimes the Islamic instructional design has not finished and the period of utilization of the Islamic instructional design was for one semester. (4) According to product, the impact of the utilization of the Islamic instructional design have positive impacts and negative impacts, and the students' responses to the utilization of the Islamic instructional design have  positive response and negative response.

Abstract

Perkembangan pemikiran Islam kontemporer yang luar biasa saat ini, sesungguhnya, dapat diklasifikasikan dalam 5 model kecenderungan. Pertama, fundamentalis yaitu model pemikiran yang sepenuhnya percaya pada doktrin Islam sebagai satu-satunya alternatif bagi kebangkitan Islam dan manusia. Kedua, tradisionalis (salaf) yaitu model pemikiran yang berusaha berpegang pada tradisi-tradisi yang telah mapan. Bagi mereka, segala persoalan umat telah diselesaikan secara tuntas oleh para ulama terdahulu. Ketiga, reformis yaitu model pemikiran yang berusaha merekonstruksi ulang warisan budaya Islam dengan cara memberi tafsiran baru. Menurut mereka, Islam telah mempunyai tradisi yang bagus dan mapan. Keempat, postradisionalis yaitu model pemikiran yang berusaha mendekonstruksi warisa Islam berdasarkan standar modern. Kelima, moderinis yaitu model pemikiran yang hanya mengakui sifat rasional-ilmiah dan menolak kecenderungan mistik. Menurutnya, tradisi masa lalu sudah tidak relevan, sehingga harus ditinggalkan. Karakter utama gerakannya adalah keharusan berpikir kritis dalam soal keagamaan dan kemasyarakatan. Mereka ini biasanya banyak dipengaruhi cara pandang marxisme. Meski demikian, mereka bukan sekuler.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic forced the ministry of education to adopt a policy of "learning from home" according to government regulations to prevent and break the spread. One of the problems is students are not ready with the culture of learning outside the classroom using online media. In addition, teachers are still confused in deciding the methods used in online learning. From various literatures, meaningful learning models are very effective to use in the current conditions. This research uses library research method by taking analysis data from various references. The purpose of this study is to describe a meaningful learning model using online media. From the reading results it was found that there were six points in conducting the learning process with meaningful learning models namely determining learning objectives, identifying student characteristics, selecting subject matter, determining information in accordance with meaningful learning, learning the core concepts, and evaluating student learning processes and outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian ex-post facto, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa tentang pendekatan problem posing berbasis teori Polya, kemampuan siswa menyelesaikan soal-soal cerita, serta pengaruh pendekatan problem posing berbasis teori Polya terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal cerita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Palopo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Palopo yang berjumlah 144 siswa, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 siswa. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan tes. Selanjutnya data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata persepsi siswa tentang pendekatan problem posing berbasis teori Polya pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Palopo adalah sebesar 60,17 dari skor ideal 70 dengan standar deviasi = 5,359; skor maksimum = 69; dan skor minimum = 49. Sedangkan skor rata-rata kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal cerita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Palopo adalah sebesar 82,06 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi = 6,224; skor maksimum = 94; dan skor minimum = 67. Hasil analisis statistik inferensial dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana diperoleh bahwa thitung ttabel (9,634 1,690, dengan = 0,05), korelasi nilai r sebesar 0,856 menunjukkan korelasi sangat kuat, serta koefisien determinan yaitu sebesar 73,27%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa benar terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendekatan problem posing berbasis teori Polya terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal cerita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Palopo.
