Abstract

Writing descriptions is a skill that has been taught in grade VI elementary schools such as MIN 6 Cilacap. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Calibrated Peer Review (CPR) method in students' writing learning. To answer the stated objectives, the research method used was pre-experiment using one class as the sample. The number of research samples was 40 students consisting of 21 male students and 19 female students. To see the effectiveness of the method in learning, researchers used the pre-test as a first step to measure students' abilities then post-test after giving the treatment. The results showed a significant effect on the pre-test and post-test scores where the initial score was a mean of 65.3 and the final score was an average of 72.5. There was a good effect on the results of learning to write student descriptions because of any significant development in teaching. Thus, the CPR method is effective in students' writing learning

Abstract

Article research on the development of the right trick LKS was made to determine the prototype of the development of the LKS, to find out the validity of the development of the right trick LKS in stacking multiplication material, and to measure the effectiveness of the stacking multiplication skill worksheet in grade III students at SDN 50 Bulu Datu Palopo. This research method is the method of research & development (R&D). The development model used in this development is the four. D model, but this study only performs the 3D stages, namely define, design, develop. The subjects in this study were class III.B SDN Bulu Datu Palopo totaling 24 students. The data collection techniques in this study used observation, tests, documentation, interviews, and questionnaires. Based on the needs analysis shows that in learning mathematics multiplication stacking requires a teaching material in the form of stacked multiplication worksheets. Data analysis techniques to test the effectiveness using the T-test and to test the validity using Aiken's formula. The results of this study indicate that the development of the stacking multiplication trick worksheet developed was declared valid by the three validators with a recapitulation of the value of 0.67. The precise trick LKS teaching materials are categorized as effective based on the results of the T-test and the pre-test and post-test results.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of mathematics learning in elementary school students by using zoom cloud meetings during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative. The technique of collecting data using participatory observation and using observation guidelines. The place of this research is SD Muhammadiyah Prambanan. The research subjects are 15 grade students of elementary school with a total of 5 people. The technique of determining participants using purposive. Data analysis was used with the assistance of atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study provide information that learning mathematics using the zoom cloud meeting consists of three things, namely learning conditions, the implementation process, and learning outcomes. Where each finding has its respective sub-components. The findings of this study can be used as a teacher strategy in developing abilities and competencies in teaching elementary school students using the zoom cloud meeting platform. The recommendations of this study are for elementary school teachers in any discipline. The strategy in the results of this study can be used as an indicator for achieving success in learning.

Abstract

The research aims to identify needs, develop the design and level of validity of the integrated folklore learning module as a background story in the area of South Sulawesi class IV MI Datok Sulaiman. The method used by researchers is Research & Development (R & D), while in developing a product in the form of teaching materials the researcher refers to the 4D model which consists of three stages, namely: the define stage, the design stage, and the developing stage. This research was conducted at MI Datok Sulaiman which is located at JL. Dr. Ratulangi NO, 16 Balandai, Bara District, Palopo City. The instruments used by researchers were questionnaires, interviews, and tests of students' understanding. The results of the needs analysis show that students like modules that are colored, pictured, and have multiple-choice assignments. And the results of student questionnaires such as 72% liked the task of telling and writing the contents of the pictures provided by the teacher. Systematically, the integration starts from folklore material into two main sub-materials, namely: intrinsic elements and the main character of a story. The decomposition of the material becomes a component of the folklore that has been written in the module. The results of the validity of teaching materials were assessed by three experts, including content experts, design experts, and pre-activation. The validity range was 0.78-1.00 and was included in the valid and very valid category.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the motivation of learning mathematics in elementary school through the implementation of the Jigsaw learning model based on the use of numbered cards as an effective strategy to increasing students’ motivation to learn mathematics by involving research samples of 52 students.  this study analyzed using a descriptive quantitative approach with Quasi Experiment Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Collecting research data using instruments such as teacher and student observation sheets and questionnaire instruments that have been validated by expert validators. The results of this study indicate that the students’ motivation in the experimental class is better than the control class, with evidence that there has been an increase in the learning process which has an impact on increasing students’ motivation to learn mathematics consistently from the first meeting to the third meeting with the good assessment categories.   the results of this study are that the use of numbered cards makes it easier to organize students’ group learning activities through the implementation of the Jigsaw learning model, stimulates the development of students learning concentration, and is even more enthusiastic for students to be actively involved in completing their learning tasks.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the needs, design, and validity of teaching materials in the form of teaching material for the diversity of ethnic groups in South Sulawesi for the fourth grade students that have been developed. Based on the results of observations made by researchers that grade IV students in the material of ethnic diversity in Indonesia, students need a concrete (real) learning in the form of an interesting textbook. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research using a 4-D research model consisting of four stages, namely 1) the devine stage consisting of initial condition analysis, student analysis, material analysis, and learning objectives analysis 2) design stages or designing a product 3) the development stage or product development 4) the dessiminate stage or dissemination. The subjects of this study were students of class IVB consisting of 25 students. This research data collection method in the form of teacher and student questionnaire instruments, interviews, tests, observations and validation sheets. Based on the results of the validity of the linguists, and the design of the content of the teaching materials received an assessment in the range of 0.78-100 and the pre-activation of teaching materials was in the range of values from 0.89 to 1.00, which means it was categorized as valid and very valid.
