Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk memperoleh gambaran performa kimiawi darah, enzim anonitransferase (GPT dan GOT) serum dan kondisi kesehatan ikan lele yang dipelihara dengan kepadatan sangat tinggi dengan menerapkan teknolobi biofloc. Tujuan jangka panjang dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai dasar untuk antisipasi penerapan teknologi budidaya ikan lele yang ramah lingkungan dan berkelanjutan.  Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil ikan lele contoh dari lapangan, yaitu di daerah Comal, Pemalang yang dibudidayakan dengan teknologi biofloc.  Paramater kesehatan ikan diukur melalui hematologi serta performa  kimiawi darah.  Variabel yang diukur meliputi kadar bilirubin total, bilirubin direk dan bilirubin indirek, GPT dan GOT dalam serum darah, serta Konsentrasi berbagai sel dalam darah Ikan.  Kondisi kualitas air diukur secara rutin setiap dua minggu. Data yang terdiri dari bilirubin, GPT, GOT, konsentrasi sel dalam darah ikan lele serta kualitas air media pemeliharaan dianalisis secara diskriptif.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsentrasi enzim aminotranserase dalam serum darah mengalami kenaikan selama masaa pemeliharaan yaitu  200±5 hingga 232,3±2,5/Ul (SGOT) dan 105,3±1,5 hingga 107,7±2,5/Ul (SGPT).  Konsentrasi leukosit, eritrosit, hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan trombosit pada minggu ke 6 masing-masing sebesar 206,3±2,9 ribu sel/µl; 1,7±0,1 juta sel/µl; 6,6±0,3 g/dl; 26,2±0,2% dan 1,1±0,1 ribu sel/µl. Pada akhir pemeliharaan nilai leukosit, eritrosit, hemoglobin, hematokrit, dan trombosit mengalami perubahan menjadi 175±5,0 ribu sel/µl, 1,6±0,2 juta sel/µl, 6,4±0,4 g/dl, 21,7±1,5% dan  9,3±0,6 ribu sel/µl. Nilai bilirubin total, bilirubin direk dan bilirubin indirek masing-masing pada kisaran 0,4±0,1  hingga 175±5,0 mg/dl,  0,2±0,1 hingga 0,5±0,1 mg/dl dan 0,2±0,1 hingga 0,4±0,2 mg/dl.  Gukosa darah sebesar  154,3±5,1 hingga 188,0±2,6 mg/dl.  Dari parameter hematologis dan kimiawi darah tersebut ikan lele dumbo yang dipelihara dengan kepadatan 1.000 ekor/m2 dan teknologi biofloc memiliki kondisi kesehatan yang baik yang dapat dilihat dari angka kelangsungan hidup mencapai 95,70±3,27%. Sel hati ikan mengalami kerusakan. Kata kunci : serum aminotransaminase, bilirubin, sel darah, lele, teknologi biofloc This study was focused to obtain of the performance of blood chemistry , enzyme anonitransferase ( GPT and GOT ) in serum and catfish health conditions were rearing with very high densities by applying biofloc teknology . The goal in the long term of this research was the basic information for the application of biofloc technologies in catfish farming that are environmentally friendly and sustainable. The study was conducted by taking a sample of catfish from the field , in Comal area, Pemalang.  Catfish (Clarias gariepinus, burch) were rearing with biofloc technology . Fish health parameters measured by the performance of hematology and blood chemistry. The variables measured include total bilirubin , direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin , GPT and GOT in the blood serum , as well as a variety of cells in the blood of fish. Water quality conditions measured regularly every two weeks . The data consists of bilirubin , GPT , GOT , the concentration of blood cells in the catfish and water quality were analyzed descriptively . The results showed aminotranserase enzyme concentration in blood serum increased from 200±5 to 232,3±2,5/Ul  ( SGOT ) and 105,3±1,5 to 107,7±2,5/Ul (SGPT). The concentration of leukocytes , erythrocytes , hemoglobin , hematocrit , and platelet count at week 6 respectively 206.3±2.9 (x103) cells/µl; 1,7±0,1 (x106) cells/µl; 6,6±0,3 g/dl; 26,2±0,2% and 1,1±0,1 (x103) cell/µl. At the end of the rearing, number of leukocytes, erythrocytes, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelet count changed to 175±5,0 (x103)cells/µl, 1,6±0,2 (x106) cells/µl, 6,4±0,4 g/dl, 21,7±1,5% and 9,3±0,6 (x103) cells/µl.  Value of total bilirubin , direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin, respectively in the range of 0,4±0,1 to 175±5,0 mg/dl, 0,2±0,1 to 0,5±0,1 mg/dl and 0,2±0,1 to 0,4±0,2 mg/dl. Blood gluucose level were 154,3±5,1 to 188,0±2,6 mg/dl. The haematological and blood chemistry parameters of the African catfish were rearing at density of 1.000 individuals/m2 and appliede biofloc technology have good health condition that can be seen from the survival rate reached 95,70±3,27%. Abstract

Macrozoobenthos play an importan role in food chain stucture within coastal ecosystem. As benthic organisms their life are highly influenced by surrounding environment including as physical, chemical anf biological factors. Sea grass is a macrophyte community that serves as habitat for macrozoobenthos. The result of observation showed that the most abundant macrozoobenthos living in seagrass at Bandengan and Pulau Panjang was Polychaeta. In addition, the abundance of macrozoobenthos in seagrass increased with the increase of seagrass density.  Keywords: Benthic, seagrass, community structure

Abstract

 Kepiting bakau merupakan salah satu jenis crustacea yang daur hidupnya memiliki beberapa tahapan tingkatan umur berdasarkan lebar karapas. Habitat kepiting bakau terdapat di perairan estuari hingga laut dengan kebiasaan hidup yang berbeda, terutama dalam mencari makanan dan habitat tiap stadia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola tingkah laku kepiting bakau pada stadia umur yang berbeda terhadap makanan. Materi penelitian adalah  kelompok umur kepiting muda (lebar karapas 8 cm) dan dewasa (lebar karapas 11 cm) serta jenis makanan berupa makanan kepala ayam, ikan petek dan keong mas yang ketiganya dalam keadaan segar. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen skala laboratorium dengan 2 variabel umur dan makanan dengan 6 perlakuan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan terdapat 2 pola gerakan pola tingkah laku dimana kepiting dewasa memberikan respon langsung, sedangkan kepiting muda menunjukkan respon tidak langsung terhadap makanan.  The Mud Crab’s  is one of crustaceans species that their life circle have some stage based on carapas length. The Mud crab’s live in differences behavior between  estuarine trought deep sea, mostly in the feeding behavior in the different life stage. The purpose of this study is to know the model movement between life stage factor towards food factor. The materials used  in this research are sub-adult (carapace width 8 cm) and adult (carapce 11 cm) mud crab and the types of  fresh food in the form of chicken’s head, leiognathus fish, and golden snail. The methods used in this reasearch are  experimental laboratory  with two variables: the types of bait and life stage with six treatments. The result shows that the adult crab’s  movement give the direct responses, but the subadult crab give  the indirect responses to the food.

Abstract

Marble Goby is a fresh water fish with high economic value. The marble goby grow-out business require fish seed  from various seedling Centres. To obtain such output require adequate seeds supply from many sources as well as appropriate transportation. The optimum density of Marble Goby seed in closed transportation is not yet known, therefore, a research on this issue is needed to ensure fish seed quality and survival rate. The aim of this study is to observe the effect of different densities on the survival rate of Marble Goby sized 100 g/ind. and to observe the best density during their transportation using 10 hour – closed system. This study applied a  complete random design method with 4 density treatments, which consist of 6 ind./L, 8 ind./L, 10 ind./L, and 12  ind./L. Each treatment was subject to three replications. Data used were survival rate, energy, activity, and water quality. The study found that different density resulted in significant effect (P < 0.01) on the survival of marble goby seeds. Survival rates of each treatment are as follows: (A) 100%, (B) 95.83%, (C) 93.33%, and (D) 80.56%.  Treatment B with density rate of 8 ind/L provided the most reliable density related to the transportation of marble goby using a 10 hour – closed system.   Key words: marble goby, transportation, density, survival.

Abstract

 Muara Sungai Betahwalang merupakan ekosistem yang mendapat masukan dari kegiatan penduduk daerah pemukiman sekitar dan dari Sungai Jajar. Muatan pencemar akan mempengaruhi kondisi muara terutama substrat dasar pada sungai Betah walang. Tekstur dan kandungan bahan organik di dalam sedimen menentukan keberadaan moluska. Tekstur sedimen merupakan tempat untuk menempel dan merayap atau berjalan, sedangkan bahan organik merupakan sumber makanan bagi moluska. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman moluska, tekstur sedimen dan kadar bahan organik, serta untuk mengetahui hubungan antara variabel. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Purposive Sampling. Sampel diambil pada 5 stasiun dan masing-masing stasiun terdiri dari 3 titik. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa terdapat 10 genera dari kelas Gastropoda yaitu Littorina, Cerithidea, Turritella, Clathrodrillia, Fasciolaris, Conus, Filopaludina, Pila, Melanoides dan Telescopium dan 4 genera dari kelas Bivalvia yaitu Anadara, Mesodesma, Mytilus dan Donax. Karakteristik substrat di muara Sungai Betahwalang adalah liat dan liat berpasir dengan kadar bahan organik berkisar antara 6,2-17,4 %. Hubungan moluska dengan tekstur sedimen terutama liat mempunyai korelasi positif dengan persamaan y = 6.94x + 224.0 (r = 0.535). Hubungan moluska dengan bahan organik mempunyai korelasi positif dengan persamaan y = 33.44x + 271.1 (r = 0.507) dan R2 = 0.257   Betahwalang Estuary is an ecosystem that gets input from the activities of the surrounding residents area and from the Jajar River. Contaminant load from upstream will affect the condition of the substrate in Betah walang river. Texture and organic matter content in the sediments determine the presence of molluscs. Sediment texture is a place for molluscs to stick, crawl or walk, while organic matter is a source of food for them. The purpose of this research is to know the diversity of molluscs, sediment textures and organic matter content, and to know the relationship between those variables. The method used is survey method with sampling using Purposive Sampling method. Samples were taken at 5 stations and each station consisted of 3 spots. The results show that 10 genera of the Gastropod class were Littorina, Cerithidea, Turritella, Clathrodoillia, Fasciolaris, Conus, Filopaludina, Pila, Melanoides and Telescopium and 4 genera of Bivalves class were Anadara, Mesodesma, Mytilus and Donax. Betahwalang estuary are characterized by clay and sandy clay with organic material content between 6,2-17,4%. The relationship of molluscs with sediment texture, especially clay, has a positive correlation with the equation y = 6.94x + 224.0 (r = 0.535). The relationship of molluscs with organic matter has a positive correlation with the equation y = 33.44x + 271.1 (r = 0.507).

Abstract

Kabupaten Kendal memiliki jumlah nelayan sebanyak 17,764 orang. Hal ini menunjukkan sektor perikanan tangkap Kabupaten Kendal memiliki peranan yang strategis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kelayakan usaha beberapa usaha perikanan tangkap di Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer, yaitu hasil survei dan wawancara. Analisis kelayakan usaha dilakukan dengan pendekatan NPV (net present value), IRR (internal rate of return) dan payback periods. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa usaha penangkapan ikan di Kabupaten Kendal adalah feasible (layak), baik dari sisi NPV, IRR, maupun payback periods. Kata Kunci: NPV, IRR, payback periods, usaha perikanan laut, Kabupaten Kendal There are 17,764 fisherman in District of Kendal. So, that is mean if fisheries sector have the strategic role for District of Kendal. The purpose of this study were to analys the feasibility study of several fisheries business in District of Kendal. The research used primary data through survey and interview. The research used NPV, IRR and payback periods as key variables. The research proved if several fisheries business were feasible, both in NPV, IRR and payback periods. Abstract

Perikanan Tongkol (Euthynnus affinis) di Perairan Selat Bali  berkembang pesat sejak diperkenalkannya alat tangkap  Purse seine, hal tersebut menyebabkan semakin meningkatnya jumlah armada kapal penangkap ikan. Meskipun upaya penangkapan meningkat, akan tetapi hasil tangkapan yang didapatkan menurun. Untuk tujuan tersebut diperlukan kajian yang mendalam tentang pola sebaran suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil-a, agar ke depan dapat diketahui daerah penangkapan ikan Tongkol. Penelitian ini mengkaji perbedaan nilai persebaran SPL dan klorofil-a yang secara nyata di lapangan dengan data hasil interpretasi citra satelit Suomi NPP VIIRS, serta mengetahui hubungan distribusi SPL dan klorofil-a terhadap hasil tangkapan ikan Tongkol (Euthynnus affinis). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini adalah, tingkat akurasi citra satelit Suomi NPP VIIRS pada variabel suhu permukaan laut mencapai 98,98%, sementara untuk tingkat akurasi terhadap konsentrasi klorofil-a mencapai 95,63%. Hubungan suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil-a terhadap CPUE yaitu menunjukan pengaruh yang cukup kuat dengan nilai sebesar 0,585. Nilai r2 menunjukan nilai sebesar 34,3%, yang berarti bahwa sebesar 34,3% CPUE dipengaruhi oleh suhu permukaan laut dan klorofil-a, sedangkan 65,7% dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain Eastern Little Tuna (Euthynnus affinis) in the Waters of Bali Strait has been growing rapidly since the introduction of purse seine fishing gear, this has led to an increasing number of fishing vessels. Although the fishing effort increases, the catch obtained decreases. For this purpose an in depth study of the distribution patterns of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a is needed, so that in the future it can be known the fishing ground to assist in the effective and efficient utilization of fish resources. This study examines the differences in the value of the distribution of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a that are evident in the field with data from interpretation of Somi NPP VIIRS satellite images, and knowing the relationship between the distribution of sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a to the Eastern Little Tuna catches. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The results obtained in this study are, the accuracy of the Suomi NPP VIIRS satellite image on the variable sea surface temperature reaches 98.98%, while the level of accuracy of the chlorophyll-a concentration reached 95.63%, the relationship between sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a on CPUE is a fairly strong correlation, with a correlation value of 0,585. The value of r2 means that 34.3% CPUE is influenced by sea surface temperature and chlorophyll-a, while 65.7% is influenced by other factors..

Abstract

ABSTRAKPelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara (PPN) Pengambengan menampung kegiatan masyarakat perikanan, terutama terhadap aspek produksi, pengolahan dan pemasaran, serta pembinaan masyarakat nelayan. Pelayanan terhadap kapal perikanan sebagai sarana produksi meliputi: penyediaan basis (home base) bagi armada penangkapan, menjamin kelancaran bongkar ikan hasil tangkapan, menyediakan suplai logistik bagi kapal-kapal ikan seperti air tawar, bahan bakar minyak, es untuk perbekalan dan lain-lain. Sedangkan pelayanan terhadap nelayan sebagai unsur tenaga produksi meliputi: aspek pengolahan, aspek pemasaran dan aspek pembinaan masyarakat nelayan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak sosial ekonomi dari pembangunan dan pengembangan PPN Pengambengan. Metode penelitian adalah metode survey deskriptif yang bersifat studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan fasilitas PPN Pengambengan memberikan manfaat yang besar. PPN Pengambengan tidak mengharapkan keuntungan dari manfaat yang diterima. Hal ini dikarenakan tujuan dari PPN Pengambengan yaitu sebagai support system dalam meningkatkan kondisi sosial ekonomi dan mensejahterakan kehidupan para nelayan.Kata kunci : PPN Pengambengan, Fasilitas, Sosial EkonomiABSTRACTPengambengan Nusantara Fishing Port (NFP) provide fisheries society activities, especially production aspect, processing and marketing, and fishermen society guidance. Whereas services provide for the fishermen consists of processing aspect, marketing and guidance. This research was done to analyse the social economic aspect of the construction and development of Pengambengan NFP. A study case descriptive survey method was applied. The results showed that the present of Pengambengan NFP facilities gave great beneficial. Abstract

Bekasam is a product of fermentation of fish with an additional source of carbohydrates that have a taste salty and sour is typical, generally use freshwater fish. Processing bekasam in Kalimantan some use additional sugar as a source of carbohydrates. Data about the quality of the source with the use of carbohydrate bekasam rice already published. However, it has not yet obtained the data quality carbohydrate sources that use bekasam rice added brown sugar. The study aims to determine the effect of the different concentration of rice carbohydrate source and the addition of brown sugar in processing Red Tilapia fish bekasam during 7 days fermentation at room temperature on product quality in terms of its chemical and hedonic. The addition of rice carbohydrates sources 40% (b b-1) in the manufacture of Red Tilapia fish bekasam lowers the pH of the product, the value of TVBN, but increase total lactic acid, total sugars and amino acids lysine products, either without the addition of brown sugar or brown sugar with the addition of 3%. The addition of brown sugar 3% (b b-1) causes the levels of total lactic acid, total sugars and amino acids lysine and hedonik higher values compared to the product without the addition of brown sugar on the addition of carbohydrate source rice 35% or 40%. There is the interaction between carbohydrate source concentration differences of treatment of rice and sugar concentration differences of treatment with respect to the value of pH, total lactic acid, and amino acids lysine. The product is the best bekasam bekasam made rice a carbohydrate source with the addition of 40% (b b-1) by the addition of brown sugar 3% (b/b) with characteristic values of pH 4.66, total value of 0.90% lactic acid, sugar value total 4.20%, TVBN value 37.51 mgN (100gr)-1, amino acids lysine 0.65% and the value of hedonik 3.01 (preferred panelist). Keywords : Red Tilapia Fish; Bekasam; Coocked Rice; Brown Sugar; Quality

Abstract

Sektor perikanan berperan strategis dalam pembangunan, karena berperan menyerap tenaga kerja, penghasil bahan pangan, bahan baku industri dan sumber devisa bagi negera. Hal ini akan tercapai jika sumber daya perikanan dikelola dengan baik sehingga menghasilkan produk yang bernilai tambah dan berdaya saing tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengembangan sektor perikanan menuju hilirisasi industri untuk mendukung pembangunan ekonomi wilayah di Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian dilakukan di Kecamatan Tanjung Beringin, Teluk Mengkudu dan Pantai Cermin dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden.  Penelitian  ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder yang dianalisis dengan Location Quotient (LQ), metode deskriptif dan analisis SWOT. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan; a)  Kecamatan Bandar Khalifah, Teluk Mengkudu, Pantai Cermin dan Kecamatan Tanjung Beringin merupakan wilayah pengembangan sektor perikanan dan hilirisasi industri dalam rangka pengembangan ekonomi wilayah, b) Teknologi budidaya dan penangkapan ikan, dukungan sarana dan prasarana serta modal usaha merupakan kendala utama pengembangan sektor perikanan menuju proses hilirisasi industri, c) Potensi sumber daya perikanan, kebijakan pemerintah merupakan faktor pendukung pengembangan sektor perikanan dan hilirisisasi industri, d) Strategi industrialisasi sektor perikanan dapat dilakukan dengan cara; i) meningkatkan populasi UMKM, ii) peningkatan nilai tambah, iii) insentif fiskal bagi UMKM, iv) meningkatkan daya saing produk dan penguatan rantai pasok, v) pembangunan infrastruktur. Berdasarkan kesimpulan disarankan agar pemerintah; a)  memberikan pelatihan/ penyuluhan kepada nelayan tentang peningkatan nilai tambah hasil perikanan, b)  melakukan diseminasi teknologi budidaya dan penangkapan ikan, serta menyediakan sarana dan prasarana serta bantuan modal usaha bagi nelayan, c) memberikan penyuluhan dan sosialisasi bagi nelayan tentang pemanfaatan sumber daya perikanan  berkelanjutan, d) mempermudah akses permodalan dan pasar produk hasil perikanan serta membantu  meningkatkan daya saing dan penguatan rantai pasok sektor perikanan. The fisheries sector plays a strategic role in development, because it has the role of absorbing labor, producing food, industrial raw materials and sources of foreign exchange for the country. This will be achieved if the fisheries resources are well managed so as to produce products that produce added value and are competitive. This study aims analyzed the development of the fisheries sector towards the downstream industry to support the economic development of the region in Serdang Bedagai. The study was conducted in Tanjung Beringin Sub-district, Teluk Mengkudu and Pantai Cermin with a sample of 30 respondents. This study uses primary data and secondary data analyzed by Location Quotient (LQ), descriptive methods and SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study concluded; a) Bandar Khalifah Sub-district, Teluk Mengkudu, Pantai Cermin and Tanjung Beringin Sub-district are the right areas for the development of the fisheries sector and downstream industries in the context of regional economic development, b) Technology for fishing and fishing, supporting facilities and infrastructure and capital business is the main obstacle to the development of the fisheries sector towards the downstream process of the industry, c) the potential of fisheries resources, government policy is a supporting factor for the development of the fisheries sector and the industrialization of the industry, d) the strategy of industrialization of the fisheries sector;  i) increasing the micro small and medium enterprisess population, ii) increasing added value, iii) providing fiscal incentives for micro small and medium enterprisess, iv) increasing competitiveness and strengthening the supply chain, v) infrastructure development.
