Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di sekolah dasar, peningkatan aktivitas, dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dua siklus. Masing-masing siklus dilakukan dalam dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IVA SD Negeri Godean I, Kecamatan Godean, Kabupaten Sleman. Subjek siswa sebanyak 34, terdiri dari 17 siswa laki-laki dan 17 siswa perempuan. Objek penelitian adalah mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di sekolah dasar memerlukan persiapan yang matang. Persiapan yang dilakukan antara lain pemilihan materi yang cocok, pemahaman karakteristik siswa, pembentukan kelompok ahli yang heterogen, pengamatan dan pendampingan selama diskusi di kelompok ahli dan kelompok asal yang langsung ditindaklanjuti, dan sumber belajar tambahan. Penerapan strategi implementasi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw yang tepat dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Creativity of learners has become more and more important in the era of glabal competition, because the complexity of problems of all aspects in the modern era keeps on increasing all the time. The teaching and learning mathematics at the elementary school has to give the positive contribution so as to encourage the students’ creativity as optimally as possible. Open ended technique of teaching and learning mathematics can assumptively give alternatives of the ‘true’ solutions to students by experiencing investigation against mathematic problems using their deep thnking skill, so that they can construct alternatives of solution creatively. Key words:   Creativity, Open Ended Technique of Teaching and Learning Mathematics

Abstract

In Indonesia, social skills learning strategies into one of the specified component as a graduation requirement PPG (Professional Teacher Education). The policy as the aspect of the process that is weighted PPL large enough space that is 30 Placement assessment of social skills in the process of field practice, is the right decision, given the social skills can be seen clearly in the Program Particularly Student Conduct Study Elementary School Teacher and has implications reflecting broad holistic or overall competence, behavior is a person in general showed a tendency to someone in something.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan media berbasis audio visual ini dilatarbelakangi terdapatnya hasil belajar siswa yang rendah tentang tokoh-tokoh kemerdekaan Indonesia. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan media berbasis audio visual ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar tentang tokoh-tokoh kemerdekaan. desain penelitian dan pengembangan media berbasis audio visual menggunakan model brog and gall yang diadaptasi dari dick and carey. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan media menunjukkan bahwa skor hasil belajar siswa meningkat sesudah menggunakan media berbasis audio visual, hasil pretest kelompok eksperimen adalah 50.45 dan hasil posttest 85.75. Sedangkan hasil pretest kelompok kontrol adalah 58.45 dan posttest adalah 90.35.  Dari penelitian pengembangan ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media berbasis audio visual dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Character education relates to all of ability of any individual to interact with the environment, which copes with moral, attitude and behavior. One’s character is supposed to be good if he / she has moral knowledge, sense and action. Substantially, moral education is carried out affectively which deals with mentality, courage and hope, image and belief. Best belief of something is the result of learning process, coping with rational internalization about truths and well-being. Social Science is hoped to serve the moral education content, since it facilitates students with ability to adapt to the environment, to build knowledge, and to nurture the culture. All of those performances can be developed by the aplication of varied approaches of Social science.

Abstract

Character education has been termed as a process of nurturing values to students to have self-reliance against God, themselves, others, environment and national awareness, which are implemented on their thought, attitude, sense, speech and action based on the norms of religion, law, ethics, culture and custom. Character education at school must involve the stakeholders. The implementation of character education is carried out through launching learning experience which is rooted from building character on students. Character education is integrated classroom practice of all subjects, which can adopt some approaches, one of which is contextual approach bringing real practice in classroom. This approach can hopefully achieve not only cognitive, but also affective and psychomotor skills.

Abstract

This is qualitative description research about implementation of Problem Based Learning method and image media in learning Indonesian with reading material story. The purpose of this study, are: 1) describe the application of learning model Problem Based Learning and media images in reading story; 2) describe the involvement of the student, and 3) describe the ability to read stories fifth grade students of SDN Sambirejo 3. The subjects of this research were students and teachers Indonesian class V SDN Sambirejo 3 2015/2016 school year. Data collected through observation, interview, test, and document analysis. The validity of the data used two techniques, the triangulation of methods and triangulation of data sources. Comparative critical analysis technique is a technique of data analysis in this study. Application method of Problem Based Learning and Media Images in reading stories had some problems. These obstacles include: (1) the teacher has not been accustomed to in the application of methods, (2) the students still were not fully explore the capabilities of learning, and (3) time management was  less appropriate. From learning activities that have been carried out, there was an excess obtained among other things, teachers were able to use the media images properly and the students also enjoyed using the learning with media images, as well as student activity developed well in the classroom. The final value of learning is as below the average value of 77.2 with the percentage of completeness 85% or 17 students. Based on the finding of research, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem Based Learning method and the use of media images can make students active in learning and reading skills increased

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) apply lesson study in the development of learning materials based on local potential to improve the professional competence of primary school teachers in Kebumen in 2016; (2) produce learning materials based on local potential through lesson study as an effort to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen in 2016. This study overall approach development (Research and Development / R & D). These research subjects were elementary school teachers in Kebumen numbered 50 people. Selection of study subjects according to the school characteristics, was by observing the accreditation status of the school and teacher status. The collection of data  were through (1) Focus Group Discussion (FGD). (2) observation, (3) test, (4) study the documentation, (5) interview, (6) checklish behavior, and (7) video. It can be concluded: (1) Lesson study based on learning materials development of local potential improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen 2015. (2) Lesson study can produce learning materials based on local potential quality. Improving the quality of the results of the implementation of lesson study the development of learning materials based on local potential to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers in Kebumen 2015 reached 90%.Keywords: professional competence, lesson study, the local potential.

Abstract

Tujuannya adalah untuk  mengidentifikasikan berbagai persoalan dalam interaksi sosial siswa Sekolah Dasar dan mengembangkan rancangan konseptual model pembelajaran toleransi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak Sekolah Dasar. Pendekatan penelitian ini dengan recearch and development. Tahap pertama dengan survey untuk need assesment, tahap kedua pengembangan modul pembelajaran toleransi. Responden 21 siswa Sekolah Dasar dan 24 guru wali kelas yang berasal dari tiga Sekolah Dasar di Madiun. Satu sekolah mewakili Sekolah Dasar Negeri dan dua sekolah mewakili Sekolah Dasar swasta. Pengumpulan data dengan metode angket, wawancara dan diskusi kelompok. Analisis data dengan deskriptif kualitatif, selanjutnya dijadikan sebagai bahan pertimbangan untuk mendesain model pembelajaran nilai-nilai toleransi. Data hasil diskusi kelompok terfokus digunakan untuk perbaikan disain model pembelajaran nilai-nilai toleransi. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1)  terdapat kesenjangan yang cukup lebar antara harapan guru dengan kondisi siswa (2) Modul pembelajaran nilai-nilai toleransi dinilai memiliki materi aktivitas yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran, (3) Pemilihan strategi dan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan memiliki visibilitas yang tinggi dapat dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar dan semua guru memandang perlunya pembelajaran toleransi di Sekolah Dasar, walaupun terdapat variasi perbedaan strategi penyampaian, yakni sebagai kegiatan intrakurikuler, ekstrakurikuler dan disisipkan dalam mata pelajaran selain PPKN

Abstract

In effort of the nation surival, a society need a set of educations which are then termed as competence so as to be proffesional, competitive and merit. The basic competence has become the substance of success in live and living. The breakdown of the nation’s economy, education, culture and also monetary affairs is not due to the lack of the government power, rather a lack of the basic competence possessed by the political actors, which needs to be questioned. Unfortunately, the prosperity of Indonesian nature can not bring Indonesia to become the master in our own nation, but it does them poverty due to live under pressure of other nation. It has been caused by the lack of the basic competence of our nation in managing, preserving, utilizing the nation’s prosperity.
