Abstract

The problems faced by private organizations and government agencies, especially in Palembang were about the female employees who have double roles and levels of work stress they face. This is certainly a challenge for every private organization and government agencies in order to improve the quality of organizational commitment through work professionalism. Employees who have multiple roles may have severe problems, they tend to often experience work stress conflicts, because their role as an employee is difficult regardless of the role of housewife. The purpose of this research was to know the conflict of double role and level of work stress to organizational commitment to the household worker. The respondents were a housewife who works in government agencies Public Broadcaster Radio Republic Indonesia Programa 2 South Sumatera. The results of this study indicate that the increase in commitment and professionalism of work due to field work programs for employees who have double roles. Negative effects of job stress must be minimized because it can adversely affect organizational commitment. Employees who have double roles should effectively manage time to minimize work stress as a result of double roles.

Abstract

This research aimed at identifying the strategic management of the principal in attracting prospective learners in Islamic Intergrity Secondary School Ar-Ridho Palembang, how the implementation in attracting prospective students in Islamic Intergrity Secondary School Ar-Ridho Palembang, Evaluation and follow-up of principal strategy in attracting candidate students in Islamic Intergrity Secondary School Ar-Ridho Palembang, This research was qualitative. The subjects of this research were principal, committee of Students’ Admission and some parents. The instruments were interviews and observations. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman model. The result of the research was that during the two years of Students’ Admission implementation, the headmaster and Students’ Admission committee experienced difficulties in cooperation with the foundation, especially on Students’ Admission funds. Technically all the preparations include the formation of the committee, the determination of activity, budget, schedule, determining the location of the activity, the target of the activity, and the determination of the material in the activity already programmed. The media used to remember the minimal cost is limited based information from parents whose children are learning in Secondary School Ar-Ridho Palembang Ar-Ridho. Evaluation was done in the closing meeting of Students’ Admission, the things are evaluated include the match between the number of learners with the target capacity, the weaknesses was on the method or committee. Keywords: Strategic Management, Headmaster, Students’ Interest, SDIT Ar-Ridho

Abstract

High intensity sexual violence of children in Indonesia, especially pedophilia has taken a lot of attention among academics and society. The aim of this research was to provide insights and thoughts about education character for pedophile actors as a strategy in dealing with immoral problems, and expected to be a reference as society and academics in implementing character education among pedophiles. This reserach was a literature review that sees pedophiles as serious issues that need to be resolved quickly through the concept of education character. Where educators in carrying out character education need to use some strategies such as moral feeling and loving, moral acting, moral modeling and repentance (back) to our God.

Abstract

This quantitative research of causal design was aimed at testing the effect of principal’s supervision towards teachers’ performance of Madrasah Aliyah Swasta in Lima Puluh Kota. The population were 172 teachers. The sample were taken by using Sloviv formula. The data were collected by using questionnaire Likert scale. The data were analyzed by using double linear regresion, Ftest, ttest dan Rtest. The results obtained indicate that 1) there was positive significant effect of principal’s supervision towards teachers’ performance; 2) no significant effect of teachers’ professional development towards teachers’ performance; 3) the principal’s supervision and teachers’ professional development gave significant effect towards teachers’ performance (sig) < 0,05. Based on the coeficient analysis, the principal’s supervision and teachers’ professional development gave effect 17.8% towards teachers’ performance of Madrasah Aliyah Swasta in Lima Puluh Kota and 82,2% from another variable which was not discussed in this research. Keywords: Principal’s Supervision, Teachers’ Professional Development, Teachers’ Performance, Madrasah Aliyah Swasta, Lima Puluh Kota

Abstract

This research was to describe the implementation of school culture in developing character education for caring environment in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 163 Kecamatan Kemuning Palembang. The results obtained through observation and documentation of school culture in developing character education for caring environment had been applied well, it can be seen from the condition of class which clean, tidy, beautiful. All students were responsible, maintain and caring the school’s environment. In this research, there were 1-4 students disturbed their friends and play the water, so the development of character education became less effective.

Abstract

This study aimed at describing the Implementation of discipline character in SD Negeri 7 Tanjung Raja. It is a descriptive study using qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 7 Tanjung Raja. Data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. The validity of the data used triagulation technique which checked or compared some data, including the components of knowledge, awareness or willingness, and actions taken in implementing discipline character. This character could not succeed as long as there were no sustainability and harmony between education environments likes household and family as the first and main character formation and education environment. To improve the quality of discipline character in education, the implementation and evaluation were needed in all level of education. The results of this study showed that the discipline character in education could change the attitudes and behavior of teachers and students of SD Negeri 7 Tanjung Raja be better, for example teachers and students would shake hands when they came or left the school, finish the ceremony in turn, and dressed neatly in accordance with the appointed day, no more students who came late or skipped school. The development and implementation of discipline character was a must do action to create the students who were accustomed to behave more disciplined.

Abstract

This study purposed to find out how finance management in one of the international-based schools in the development of global issues of education today is useful to improve the quality of education in Indonesia. This research was qualitative, where in this paper I saw the strategies used by school in running the management of educational finance. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews with principals, vice principals, treasurers, and the results of financial observations in the Primary School of Indonesian Creative School Pekanbaru. The results showed that the management of educational finance had been done well 1) the process of budgeting according to the procedure; 2) sources of finance obtained from several sources of funds; 3) the constraining factor in the management of educational finance belongs to the flow of disbursement of funds long enough; 4) supervision and accountability in the educational finance is going well; and 5) Foundations, principals, vice principals, treasurers, school committees, teachers and UPTD Education involved in the education finance management process.

Abstract

Education is able to support future development while education could develop the potential of learners in facing global competition. In the educational world, the teachers’ professionalism is needed in order to gain a qualified output. To achieve this goal, principals are very influential in developing teachers’ professionalism. Related to the problem, the purpose of this paper was to know the principals strategy in developing teachers’ professionalism. The method used in this research was qualitative. To develop the teachers’ professionalism, the principal did organize a portfolio assessment system in the context of teacher’s certification preparation to obtain an certificate educator through Professional Persistence (PKP) in the form of Classroom Action Research (PTK). The expected results, it can develop the teachers’ professionalism in managing the teaching and learning process. Keywords: Effective Leadership, Principal, Teachers’ Professionalism.

Abstract

This study aimed at 1) determining the implementation of the program maket day which is one of the schools flagship program, 2) knowing the role of market day program in developing the entrepreneurship character of learners SMK Negeri 1 Penukal Kab. Pali. The ability of learners to be developed not only academic aspects but also non academic. This research was a descriptive qualitative using phenomenolgy approach, data source obtained through interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed inductively, the exposure of the research result was descriptive. From the research results obtained that the implementation of Market Day program implemented by the school runs regularly every Friday and related to the building a positive culture for the citizens of the school. Students finally recognize and understand and familiar with trading activities and eventually grow in the students of the character of an entrepreneur is responsible, risk-taking, independent, hard work, communicative and can carry out financial management.

Abstract

The students who has grand mother as mother  were in danger on moral. The students were only controlled by the grand mothers, and it made less education. The grand mothers were too over on giving love, it made the students were spoiled and they did deviant behavior. The Islamic Secondary School Nururohmah has many students who have grand mother as mother did a special way on educating students by understanding Kitab Ta’lim Muta’alim.
