Globalization bring new challenges that must be answered by education. Need to change strategy education in preparing humans Indonesia in order to provide answers to the global challenges and opportunities globally. Method in this study using a research method descriptive qualitative. This study provides an overview of the global education through local wisdom. Study guide SMA 18 cities Palembang. Data collection techniques used in this study is observation, interviews, and documentation. Result of this research is a global education based local wisdom is required in order to improve the quality of education can compete in the middle of globalization. Global education very need to be applied to the current conditions. Global education based local wisdom is expected to create education competitive and innovative quality and reliable, which is able to compete in the middle of globalization. The purpose of this research was to describe the implementation process inquiry and to understand improving creativity of children 4-5 years old play cooperatif. The study was conducted on group A Kindergarten with of seventen children. This study used action research methods by Kemmis and Taggart which consist of 4 stages (plan, action, observation and reflection). This study consisted of two cycles, each cycles consisting of 8 sessions. Data collecting techniques used observation, field notes and documentation. Data analysis using quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data analysis with descriptive statistics that compare the result obtained from the first cycle and the second cycle. Analysis of qualitative data by analizing data from the observation, fields notes and documentation during the study to the steps of data reduction, data display and data verification. The result of this study showed that there was the improving creativity through play cooperatif with score in pre cycle 24,6 had improvement to 43,9 and become 67,8 in cycle II and excellent growing category

Education was a part of the learning process, the wrong learning process can cause studentsâ learning outcomes become less maximal, one effort in improving studentsâ learning outcomes was by using the model of learning. Examples are Time Token, Picture Puzzle and Index Card Match. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of student learning outcomes by using Time Token and Picture Puzzle learning models with Time Token and Index Card Match. The method in this research is Quasi Eksperimental method. Data collection techniques used in the form of giving a test of multiple choice questions. The result of this research is the learning model of time token model and Picture puzzle of the preliminary test score 31,72 and the final test is 88,78 and the t value in paired data t test is 34,69. While in the class of time token learning model and index card match has a preliminary test score of 20.28 and the final test of 81.40 and the value of t on the t test of pairwise data 46.69 while the t value in the t test of unpaired data is 4.11. So it can be concluded that there is comparison of learning outcomes between time token learning model and picture puzzle with time token and index card match.

Abstract— One of the pedagogic competence of teachers was to utilize information and communication technology for learning purposes, such as making computer-based learning media. This study aimed to produce a product in the form of a visual and audio mathematics video made by FKIP students. The learning model used was Project Based Learning, where students worked in group completing the learning video project using windows live movie maker software within a period of one month. This research was a qualitative descriptive research, which focused on process and product assessment. Assessment process seen from the periodical report and self assessment and product assessment viewed from oral presentation, peer review (assessment), and final report. The final product in the form of a learning video presented in the presentation already contained the concepts and problems of mathematics and how to solve it. In addition to supporting students to creativity to solve mathematics problems in everyday life by learning video, this research was also an innovation in learning mathematics. Keywords— Project based learning, learning media, learning video, windows live movie maker Abstrak— Salah satu kompetensi pedagogik guru adalah dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi untuk kepentingan pembelajaran, seperti pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis komputer. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk berupa video pembelajaran matematika berbasis audio visual yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa FKIP sebagai calon guru pada mata kuliah media pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah Project Based Learning, dimana mahasiswa bekerja dalam kelompok menyelesaikan proyek video pembelajaran menggunakan software windows live movie maker dalam kurun waktu satu bulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang berfokus pada penilaian proses dan produk. Penilaian proses dilihat dari laporan bertahap dan self assesment serta penilaian produk dilihat dari presentasi produk, peer review (assessment), dan laporan akhir. Produk akhir berupa video pembelajaran yang ditampilkan dalam presentasi sudah mengandung konsep-konsep dan permasalahan matematika serta cara penyelesaiannya. Selain mendukung mahasiswa untuk berkreativitas menuangkan permasalahan matematika dikehidupan sehari-hari dalam bentuk video pembelajaran, penelitian ini juga merupakan inovasi dalam pembelajaran matematika. This article discusses the role of youth in preventing the idea of radicalism in Indonesia. The data in this article were collected through references such as books, journals, newspapers, and the internet. This study found that radicalism is a common phenomenon that can occur in a society with various motives; social, political, cultural and religious that were characterized by violent, extreme and anarchic actions as a form of rejection the symptoms. Youth as the next generation is the main target of radical adherents. This is possible because youth are easily instigated with the wrong view and mind associated with radicalism. Therefore, with its diverse roles, youth can prevent this radicalism in various ways. First through the increase of education knowledge and understanding the religion. Second, read a lot of references. Third, always want to improve themselves, and the last set the goal of life.

The experiment was conducted at state elementary school of 242 Palembang. The study was conducted over 3 months. Subjects were students of class V. amounting to as many as 35 people, consisting of 16 female students and 19 male students. Data obtained from the students involved in this study at state elementary school of 242 Palembang, observer and parties other related parties. Techniques of data collection by way of tests and observation. The indicators that are expected in the study of this class action is the accurrence of 70% increase in learning outcomes students achieve mastery learning. The results of this study for 88.57% of the students have completed study and 11.43% of students do not pass the study. This number clearly shows that there has been a significant and the results are in accordance with the expectation that student's mastery of 80%.

Abstract— This study attempts to critically analyze the practices of foreign language teaching particularly English which commonly pay less attention to the accompanying intercultural communication and also to propose an alternative solution to support and promote the character education in this country. It is commonly believed that the practices of the English language teaching are always accompanied by the insertion of foreign cultural values which are not always in harmony with our own values. In line with the national education goals, it seems that the most possible way to overcome this problem is by integrating the Indonesian local cultural values in the practices of the English language teaching to promote character education, which is commonly believed to play important roles in encouraging, improving, and maintaining the spirit of nationalism of our future generation Keywords— local culture, teaching and learning, English, character education Abstrak— Kajian ini hendak mencoba menelaah secara kritis praktek-praktek pembelajaran bahasa asing khususnya Bahasa Inggris yang umumnya kurang memperhatikan aspek akulturasi budaya yang menyertainya dan juga mencari alternatif solusi pemecahannya demi mendukung tercapainya pendidikan yang berbasis character building di negara ini. Pada kenyataannya, praktek pengajaran bahasa Inggris senantiasa menyediakan ruang adanya insersi nilai-nilai budaya asing masyarakat penuturnya yang belum tentu sejalan dengan nilai-nilai budaya masyarakata kita. In Indonesia, some school-aged children have violated the culture of the Indonesian nation, the lack of application of character education at home or at school causes them to do illicit acts or do not reflect school-aged children such as brawling among students, free sex, using drugs. Education value of the characters in order to form the successor of the nation of Indonesia who believe and piety to God Almighty and morals, knowledgeable, and become a democratic citizens and responsible is needed in order to form the successor of the Indonesian nation. Implementation of character education among school students is very helpful in establishing good character and praised by using strategies through learning, through extracurricular, through the development of school culture. Not only themselves and parents, the school also plays an important role in helping the implementation of character education to unform the character of students who are praised and obey Indonesian culture.

Abstract— Globalisasi yang diikuti dengan perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang semakin cepat juga menjadi pemicu utama akulturasi budaya Barat terhadap budaya tradisi. Masyarakat Indonesia masa kini, yaitu masa teknologi informasi membutuhkan rekonstruksi pemikiran, persepsi, serta nilai dasar realitas yang berlaku. Visi realitas baru didasarkan atas kesadaran akan saling-terhubung dan saling-tergantung semua fenomena fisik, biologis, psikologis, sosial, seni dan budaya. Akademisi bidang seni yang berkecimpung dalam pendidikan seni budaya di Indonesia diharapkan mampu beradaptasi terus menerus dengan perkembangan zaman tanpa menghilangkan peran aktif nilai-nilai luhur budaya bangsa yang terbukti mampu menjadi tempat ziarah sekaligus membawa peserta didik berhasil memasuki lorong dari masa kini hingga ke arah masa depan dengan kreativitas yang progresif dan dinamis. Kesenian tradisional memiliki pola atau pakem yang membuat kesenian itu menjadi khas. Namun pakem itu bukanlah aturan mati melainkan dapat dijadikan potensi yang dapat berkembang, berubah dan bercampur satu sama lainnya. Seni tradisi secara alami mampu mengakomodasi perubahan isi sesuai dengan kepentingan situasi. Keywords— Budaya Global, Akademisi Seni Abstrak— Globalization, which is followed by the rapid development of information and communication technology, is also a major trigger for the acculturation of Western culture towards traditional culture. Today's Indonesian society, namely the age of information technology requires the reconstruction of thought, perception, and the basic values of prevailing reality. The vision of the new reality is based on the consciousness of interconnected and interdependent all physical phenomena, biological, psychological, social, artistic and cultural. Art academics who are involved in arts education in Indonesia are expected to be able to adapt continuously with the times without eliminating the active role of noble values of the nation's culture that proved to be a place of pilgrimage as well as bringing students successfully enter the hall from the present to the future with a progressive and dynamic creativity. Traditional art has a pattern or grip that makes the art becomes distinctive. But the standard is not a dead rule but can be a potential that can develop, change and mix with each other.
