Abstract

Professionalism in the field of selling represent the successful key of future marketing. Salesperson which protesional is a able to be trusted and always try to give the maximal satisfaction to customer. Trust and satisfaction of customer can only be reached if salesperson owning ethical behavior and customer orientation in running aclivily and sales strategy so the can improve the sales revenue. This research test how ethical.behavior and customer orientation influence to make­up outcome performance by passing behavior performance of salesperson.Data was gained from 120 life insurance agent as respondent in Semarang Central Java. From data analysis, result was obtained, model raised in this research in accepable. It is shown by chi­quare = 105, 779, Probability = 0, 32 7, Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0, 022, Goodness of Fit Index= 0,904, Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index= 0,870, Tucker Lewis Index = 0, 994, CMIN/DF = 1, 058, Comparative Fit lndexs = 0,995. Those number indexs are standart although Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index is accepted marginally. Findings show that hig outcome performance salesperson can be achieved with ethical behavior and costumer olientation by increasing behavior performance. Cocludes with a discussion of managerial implications and direction for future reserch.

Abstract

This study aims at analyzing influences of political perception of organization, affective commitment, work satisfaction and work stress towards employee’s eagerness to drop out with a variable of moderation perception of endorsement of organization. This study was conducted at PT PQRS. Analysis method used in this study was mixed method with the explanatory sequential design. The number of the sample was 157 respondents for closed questionnaire and 3 participants for opened questionnaire. The questionnaire measurement was closed with scale 1-7. In quantitative analysis data analysis used was multiple regression analysis with moderating variable and a help of SPSS 23 program. In qualitative analysis data analysis used was descriptive analysis.In quantitative analysis of examination findings toward hypothesis, it is indicated that the variable of political perception of organization positively affects an eagerness of dropping out, affective commitment affects an eagerness of dropping out negatively, work stress positively affects an eagerness of dropping out and perception of endorsement of organization can moderate correlation between affective commitment and work stress towards an eagerness to drop out yet not between  perception of endorsement of organization and work satisfaction towards employee’s eagerness to drop out.In qualitative analysis gives results that support the results of hypothesis testing where employees reveal the existence of political behavior and work stress is high enough accompanied by the level of affective commitment and job satisfaction which is low so that it gives the impact on the high desire to get out of work. Other results indicate that organizational support can be perceived by employees so that moderation testing that is conducted get support that the desire to get out of work tends to decrease when they perceive organizational support at low levels of affective commitment and the employees’ desire to get out of work tends to decrease when they perceive organizational support at the high level of work stress.

Abstract

The business world is now facing more challenges: limited resources, increasing competition andrapidly changing environment. Demands in the distribution company also added by increasing the amount of principal that shorten the distribution channel. PT. Aga is the official distributor of paint products from PT. A for the Central Java. PT. Aga’s performance who continued to decline during the past two years after the change of management becomes a problem. The aim of this study was to examine the factors that should be improved by PT. Aga to improve its distribution performance. This study uses the relationship view as a background theory. Relationship Quality between PT. Aga with its customers, and PT. Aga’s Adaptation Capabilities are factors that will be examined related to competitive advantage and performance.The sample was 200 customers of PT. Aga. 124 questionnaires were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The analysis shows that the Adaptation Capabilities to the Environment and Relationship Qualityto its customers, have a significant positive influence on performance, either directly or indirectly.

Abstract

Penelitian dari Biro Riset lnfobank menganalisis pengaruh efsisiensi operasi (BOPO), resiko kredit ( NPL), resiko pasar ( NIM), modal ( CAR) terhadap  kinerja keuangan ( ROA), bahwa bank umum dengan total assets kurang dari 1  triliun mempunyai kinerja  keuangan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan bank umum dengan total assets 1  triliun atau lebih. Data yang diambil dari Direktorat Perbankan Indonesia dan dari Biro Riset lnfobank Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh negatif dan signifikan resiko kredit ( NPL) terhadap kinerja keuangan (ROA), pengaruh positif dan signifikan resiko pasar (NIM) terhadap kinerja keuangan (ROA) serta berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan  resiko pasar (NIM) terhadap kinerja keuangan ( ROA), dan Tidak berpengaruh modal ( CAR) terhadap kinerja keuangan ( ROA)

Abstract

The value of the company is an investor perception to the company, which is often associated with the stock price. The higher the value, the higher the company’s shareholder  wealth. One proxy of the value of the company is the Price to Book Value (PBV). PBV is the ratio of stock price to book value of the company. This study aimed to examine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Size, Earning to Growth Price to Book Value (PBV) and Return on Assets (ROA) as an intervening variable. Population of this study is all manufaturing  firm listed on IDX during 2008-2010. By using purposive sampling, the written got 123 firm to be the sample. This study used path analysis technique and sobel test, in previously, the data was examined using classical assumption test. The results of this study for the first regression model showed that the variables jointly Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and the size effect on the Return on Assets (ROA). For the second regression model showed that the variables jointly Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), size, Return on Assets (ROA) and Earnings Growth affect the Price to Book Value (PBV). Of this study also showed that the Return on Assets (ROA) has no mediating effect on the relationship between Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) to the Price to Book Value (PBV), but the Return on Assets (ROA) has a mediating effect on the relationship between size the Price to Book Value (PBV).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kultur organisasi yang aktual dirasakan oleh pegawai saat ini terhadap kinerja yang mereka capai. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 312 orang dosen pada sebuah perguruan tinggi negeri (Universitas"X"). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa tingkat independensi dalam pelaksanaan tugas, tingkat keterkaitan antara imbalan dan prestasi, tingkat toleransi terhadap perbedaan pendapat dan kritik, serta tingkat formalisasi komunikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen dalam bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran. Tingkat independensi dalam pelaksanaan tugas, tingkat kebanggaan terhadap organisasi, tingkat toleransi terhadap perbedaan pendapat dan kritik, serta tingkat formalisasi komunikasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja dosen dalam bidang penelitian. Sementara itu kinerja dosen dalam melaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat independensi dalam pelaksanaan tugas, tingkat kebanggaan terhadap organisasi, serta tingkat formalisasi komunikasi.

Abstract

This research is conducted on the basis of, or because of, the difference of research view/ the gap research concerning influence of service quality in improving competitive advantage. Research of Churchill (1994) yields conclusion, that quality of service more is having an effect on profitability than on company competitive advantage. Whlle research of James L Wahlers (1994) and Kohli (1997) yields conclusion which much the same to, that quality of service have an effect on competitive advantage. According to Kutcher (2000), competitive advantage is also influenced by strategy implementation of differentiation. There are some factors influencing the quality of service (Servqual), for example usage of information technology and company orientation.At healthcare industry, quality of service represent key factor in improving competitive advantage. This research is done at hospital which is its service indicator still under efficiency boundary/limit, where this problem depict the quality of service which still lower and competitive advantage position less beneficial.This research use all structural functionaries/officers in all management level from board of directors till supervisor as research object. Data collecting is done with enquette method which filled by the structural officers. By using SEM, it is found that quality of service influenced by usage of information technology and market orientation. Furthermore, It is found that quality of service and implementation of differentiation strategy have an effect on competitive advantage. This research model can fulfill specified criterion of "goodness of fit.” Pursuant to this matter, hence suggested that company improve competitive advantage through improvement of service quality and correct implementation of differentiation strategy.

Abstract

DENGAN  semakin aktifnya In­donesia  dalam  perdagangan internasronal,  dampak WTOakan  sangat penting bagi Indone­ sia  dalam hubungan  dengan mitra dagangrrya.   Adanya  WTO akan neningkatkan upaya multilateral dalam  melaksanakan   prosedur penyelesaian   sengketa    secara terpadu (integrated  dispute settle­ment).  Masalahnya bagi  Indonesiapenyesuaian  baik dari segi kebijakan maupun pelaksanaan adnministrasinya.Ada  4 faktor yang mempengaruhi pembangunan ekonomi Indonesia :  economic  drive. monetary  incentives: penguasaan  ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi; keadilan yang menjadi tolak ukur pembangunan.  Untuk Jangka panjang, peluang yang perlu diperhatikan bahwa setiap 2 tahun akan diadakan review dari semua kebijaksanaan sebagaimana disepakati dalam  Trade Policy Review Mechanism ([PRM).

Abstract

This research is performed on order to test the influence of the variable Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Biaya Operasional/Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), dan Giro Wajib Minimum (GWM) toward Earning Changes.Methodology research as the sample used purposive sampling, sample was accured 26Bank Pembangunan Daerah in Indonesia. Data analysis with multi liniear regression of ordinary least square and hypotheses test used t-statistic and F-statistic at level of significance 5%, a clasic assumption examination which consist of data normality test, multicolinearity test, hetersoskedasticity test and autocorrelation test is also being done to test the hypotheses.During research period show as variabel and data research was normal distributed. Based on test, multicolinearity test, hetersoskedasticity test and autocorrelation test classic assumption deviation has no founded, this indicate that the available data has fulfill the condition to use multi linear regression model. This result of research show that variable BOPO and GWM did not influence Earning Changes. Variable CAR, NIM, and LDR positive significant influence  toward Earning Changes. Prediction capability from these five variable toward Earning Changes  is 20,6% where the balance 79,4% is affected to other factor which was not to be entered to research model.

Abstract

Syarat utama yang diinginkan para investor untuk bersedia melakukan investasi melalui pasar modal adalah perasaan aman akan investasi dan tingkat return yang akan diperoleh dari investasi tersebut. Perasaan aman ini diantaranya  diperoleh  karena para investor memperoleh informasi yang jelas dan tepat waktu sebagai dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan investasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh “komponen arus kas dan earnings per share terhadap return saham pada perusahaan guna memberikan informasi sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan investasi.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan tergabung dalam kelompok indeks LQ45 periode tahun 2007 – 2009 sebanyak 60 perusahaan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian  ini sebanyak 17 perusahaan dalam 3 tahun. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan program SPSS.Hasil pengujian secara simultan menunjukkan semua variabel berpengaruh terhadap return saham dengan  nilai signifikan 0,004.  Hasil pengujian  secara parsial menunjukkan variabel “arus kas operasi dan “earning per share signifikan terhadap return saham dengan signifikansi masing-masing 0,008 dan 0,034 karena nilai signifikan lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,05. “Arus kas investasi dan “arus kas pendanaan  tidak signifikan terhadap return saham dengan nilai signifikansi masing- masing 0,621 dan 0,540 karena nilai signifikan lebih besar dari tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,05.Koefisien determinasi sebesar 22% menunjukkan kemampuan model dalam menerangkan variasi variabel dependennya dan sisanya sebesar 78% tidak dapat dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini. Sehingga masih memberi ruang untuk penelitian mendatang  untuk menambahkan  variabel-variabel lain.
