Abstract

Determining the distribution route is one important thing that must be considered by the company to get a cheaper product selling price. PT. XYZ is a cement manufacturing company with consumers spread across several regions. Due to the large number of consumers that must be supplied, the company has problems in determining product distribution routes that can produce a low total cost of distribution. In this method, the saving matrix method is used to obtain distribution routes that can produce the minimum distribution costs. From the results of the study, four sub routes of product distribution were found with distance savings of 1176 Km.

Abstract

Abstract — CV. 777 is a spice import company that has problems in mitigating events that are quite detrimental to the company. Starting from late arrival until over stock in the warehouse. The method used is the House Of Risk and SWOT methods, where with these methods the highest risk can be known and mitigation actions will be taken. This research resulted in 14 Risk Events and 27 Risk Agents where the Risk Agent with the highest ARP value will be followed up using the SWOT method. In the study, one Risk Agent with the highest ARP value or the one with the strongest influence was found, namely Risk Agent A12 with an ARP value of 255 (fluctuations in demand for goods by customers), while the Risk Agent with the weakest influence was A4 with an ARP value of 3 (imported goods). excessive) and A26 with an ARP value of 3 (miscommunication between employees). The risk agent with the highest ARP then continued using the SWOT method and resulted in four strategies, namely SO strategy, ST strategy, WO strategy, and WT strategy. With the mitigation strategy produced by the company, it will be able to minimize the risks that can occur to the company.

Abstract

Distribution channels have an important meaning for achieving company success in the field of marketing so that company management is required to always be responsive and able to adapt to environmental changes. Input and output data processing is done by giving weights to the input and output using the DEA CCR primal model by maximizing the input-oriented-based objective function. The results of processing the efficiency scale show the relative efficiency level of the scale of each DMU in the company. The efficiency scale is obtained through the formulation of the DEA CCR primal model between each DMU input and output. If the DMU gets an input and output efficiency value of less than 100%, then the DMU is said to be relatively inefficient. Meanwhile, if the efficient value is equal to 100%, then the DMU is said to be relatively efficient. Of the 5 distribution cities, Sidoarjo, PaluKendari, Bandung and Lamongan which were analyzed, there were 2 cities that were inefficient or experiencing waste in their input and output variables, so the company needed to reorganize the level of use of inputs and outputs it achieved and utilize them optimally to get output that is optimal. targeted.

Abstract

The existence of a ship project carried out with a tender system by the LPSE allows all shipyard industries to bid on the project, this causes the chances of winning to become smaller, the determination of the tender price greatly determines the size of the profit that can be obtained and the percentage of the possibility of winning the project in a shipping industry. Therefore, the strategy of determining the bid price is very important. The statistical method used is multi discrete distribution, and multi normal distribution, while the bidding model uses Friedman (1956) and Ackoff & Sasieni (1968) models. The results obtained the best bid price strategy to win an auction or tender is the model that produces the lowest optimum mark-up, namely the Friedman model with multi normal distribution, while for Ackoff & Sasieni it produces a higher bid than the Friedman model except in certain company conditions.

Abstract

Maintenance activities are generally considered as supporting activities in the production process. However, this activity is very important because it contributes directly to the smooth running of the production process and productivity. PT. XYZ is a company engaged in mass media or newspapers since September 8, 2015. In the newspaper production process, PT. XYZ experienced delays in the production process due to damage to the component parts of the printing machine, in which the Offset printing machine is the core printing machine that is always used to print newspapers. Based on data on the frequency of damage during 2020 which was obtained from observations and interviews with operators, damage to machine components for 1 year on the offset printing machine counted 73 times that it was damaged. Thus making the machine stop operating from the effective working time of the machine, which is 264 days/year. This is due to the unavailability of a machine maintenance schedule because the company is still implementing a breakdown maintenance system. Thus the researcher aims to calculate the value of the identified critical components and calculate the effective time of machine operation for scheduling replacement of critical components of offset printing machines using the Reliability Centered Maintenance method. Based on the results of data processing using the Reliability Centered Maintenance method, the contactor component is determined as a critical component where the value of the Risk Priority Number is 72 with an average checking time of 11,250 minutes and component replacement time of 7 times/year. For this reason, it can be concluded that the contactor is a critical component with a damage value of 72 and the scheduling time for component replacement is 7 times in 1 year.
