The purpose of identifying and assessing children with special needs training is to improve: 1) early childhood teacherâ€™s knowledge about types of special needs children, 2) skills of early childhood teacher in identifying special needs children, and 3) skills of early childhood teacher in assessing special needs children. This activity was attended by 20 early childhood teacher from Peek A Boo School and Permata Bunda Schools in Sidoarjo. The methods used in training activities are lectures, group discussions, and practices. The results of this activity were obtained that after attending the training: 1) there was an increase in the knowledge of early childhood teacher regarding the types of children with special needs from 65% to 90%, 2) The skills of teachers in identifying also increased, from 10% to 55% able to identify children with special needs , and 3) an increase in assessment activities of children with special needs, from 10% to 50%. Thus, this training can effectively increase the knowledge and adequacy of early childhood teacher to identification and assessment activities of children with special needs.

One of the provinces with the highest illiteracy rate in Indonesia is Papua Province, which is 28.75% of 70.26% in 11 Provinces in Indonesia. Especially in Jayawijaya district, 25.80% of the people are still illiterate. This is due to the extensive geographical conditions, difficult to reach areas, the spread of Papuans that are not evenly distributed in isolated areas. In order to overcome the high rate of illiteracy in Jayawijaya District, especially in the Walelagama District ofWalelagama village, Wamena Christian Teacher Training and Education School as the education practitioner responsible for the quality of education in the Central Papua Mountains carried out literacy assistance programs for the Walelagama village community in Wamena in the District Jayawijaya, Papua. The program was held for 3 months for residents of Walelagama villages aged 15-45 years who had never attended school or dropped out of school. It is hoped that through this assistance, the reading and writing skills of Walelagama residents will be better, so that it can influence the lifestyle of the people in Walelagama village. After literacy assistance, there was a change in the literacy skills of the people studying in the Walelagama village. This was measured from the initial test and the final test given to the study residents before mentoring and after mentoring.

Waste is a problem that must be faced by residential communities both in urban and rural settlements, so it needs to be systematically structured and sustainable. Conventional waste handling that has been implemented by the community cannot produce an appropriate solution, this is evident that there is still a large volume of waste that has not been managed properly. The purpose of implementing community service activities in the village of Sedapurklagen in Benjeng Gresik is to utilize household waste through compoter and biopori as well as the application of Biopori to treat household waste that can also reduce waterlogging during rain. The implementation method is used so that the purpose of this service activity is to empower the community about managing household waste to be composted through composter, as well as training on composting from composter and biopori. The target of this activity is the mothers of family welfare coaching (PKK) in the village of Sedapurklagen, Benjeng Gresik. The result of this service is that the community has begun to process organic waste to make compost and million biopori pipes around the Posapur, Sedapurklagen Gresik to reduce the presence of standing water during the rainy season.

Education is one means for transferring knowledge. With a variety of media used, it is expected to be able to provide the expected information. Political education is one of them, with the hope that people understand and understand what is meant by politics. Especially in rural communities where the tendency to have minimal information about politics. In this activity, political education uses the andragogy method, where learning is specifically for adults. Invite the community to play an active role in the problems that exist. Focus Group Discussion is one vehicle for community involvement, they can express their opinions. The main target in this activity is the youth group. The results of service are: 1. The implementation of "Political Education and Establishment of Village Fund Supervisory Groups" departs from two things, namely the first concerning the urgency of community participation in village governance. Second, departing from concerns about the tendency of community apathy in managing village funds, 2. The process of organizing this service is carried out by the andragogy method in which participants are stimulated through group discussions, and are also given the opportunity to express their opinions during the course of thematerial. is when initiating the formation of a superv isory group, they carefully observe it, and are very enthusiastic in discussing how the oversight mechanism will be carried out.

Almost all developed and progressed countries, reading activities are a necessity, as well as clothing, food and shelter needs. Reading is an important activity for having good generations that have a broad insight in everything and certainly are sensitive to the conditions of the surrounding environment. One way to grow and increase the reading interest for rural communities so that it becomes a culture is to establish a library, more precisely the Village Library. In this activity, the team of English Department formulated the problem of how the perspectives of the Kepunten Village community on reading habits in the Village Library were mainly about the procurement of the number and collection of books, reading interest, community interest, introduction, utilization and application of English literacy. The method used in seeing the results of the Devotion Program to Society (PPM) of English Language Education Program was described quantitatively. The results showed that reading habits from an early age supported by a variety of reading materials in Indonesia or English Language can encourage local people to develop themselves through village libraries supported by the local government, Devotion Programs to Society and Facilities that support the management and development of Village Libraries to better and better.

Shredded is a processed product from beef, the process of making it simple through the initial stages is the meat is shredded and then cooked until it becomes shredded. This effort can be done simply with various creations, the problem is quality (hygienic) and management. The aim of the activity is to provide alternative solutions to some of the problems faced by producers in order to develop and be able to compete with other major snack industries and the availability of a sustainable skilled workforce. The location of the service was determined purposively in the darmo / Wonokromo sub-district of Surabaya as the place for the abon business partners and the local maternal labor. The results of this dedication concluded that at the production stage that needs to be considered is the quality of raw materials, because it affects the quality of the abon final product, in the production of large quantities required shredder machine technology. In return, management capital is needed for 2 months, with the added value of shredded production of Rp. 73,333.33 / kg

The desire of the Sumber Rejeki catfish farmer group to do their own hatchery, but often failures, this causes low income and is not continuous. In addition, the groups of farmers also want to increase their knowledge and skills related to the procedures for spawning catfish naturally and semi-naturally until catfish seeds are ready for sale. The aim of training and mentoring is to find a breakthrough solution for easy-to-use technology to spur gonad maturation, accelerate spawning and mass production of seeds in a continuous and continuous manner with laserpuncture induction technology. Measuring the success of training and mentoring participants can operate the laserpuncture unit correctly, can determine the location of the reproductive acupoint correctly and can induce male and female catfish parents with laserpuncture technology correctly and the catfish parent induced by laserpuncture can mature gonads, quickly spawning and producing catfish seeds in bulk and continuously that are ready for sale.

Rong Dalem Village in Omben District, Sampang is a Government that implements community service programs in solving social and environmental problems in its area. Important issues in the village are lack of awareness of education, lack of health facilities and infrastructure, lack of initiative and creativity of the community in utilizing the potential of the village and its environment, and knowledge in finding solutions to meet the needs of clean water. For the problemof education, there are still many people who only go to education only to the level of elementary school. Even though they have the financial capacity, the community is more oriented to education in Islamic boarding schools and looking for work than schools. For health problems, the public does not understand the conditions of personal and family health and the lack of health facilities and infrastructure. For the problem of creativity, people are still unable to process and develop existing crops such as peanuts, siwalan trees, tubers and others. The community is only more interested in expanding the potential of tobacco plants alone. As for the problem of meeting clean water needs, during the dry season water resources are difficult, but in the rainy season the water is not absorbed by the soil. The purpose of this activity is: to give insight to the community to be aware of education, be aware of their potential and environment so that they are motivated to build, develop, and empower society and the environment. The method of implementing this activity is by conducting counseling and training. The results of this activity are that the community of Rong Dalem are aware of and understand the importance of education, the development of their potential and environment, and are able to manage water resources by practicing the way of making drainage channels and water tanks.

The purpose of the KKN-PPM activity is to make people aware of the importance of environmental conservation through groundwater conservation and empowering the people of Kalanganyar Village to build rainwater infiltration wells to help optimize water absorption. The output targets of the products produced in this program are: 1. Establishment of environmental cadres in the division of groundwater conservation as an effort to sustain the program, 2. Establishment of infiltration wells, and 3. Skills in maintaining infiltration wells. The method of implementation carried out is the preparation, debriefing and departure of KKN-PPM students, the development of appropriate technology (TTG), the implementation phase, and the assistance of environmentalcadres in the division of groundwater conservation. Conclusions from the KKN-PPM activities on groundwater conservation using infiltration wells in Kalanganyar Village, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province are: 1. The people of Kalanganyar Village have not used rainwater in the rainy season which caused rainwater runoff to flood and have limited water during the dry season, 2. Increasing knowledge of the people of Kalanganyar Village about environmental preservation and groundwater conservation using infiltration wells, 3. KKN-PPM Kalanganyar Village Sedati District Sidoarjo Regency provides a pilot in the form of infiltration wells in Kalanganyar Village to be used as a pilot for groundwater conservation in the village Kalanganyar.

Medicinal plant is a plant that has many efficacy especially in the health field. because of the efficacy of the medicinal plants in community service activities in the form of training is done processing of medicinal plants by processing ginger (Zingiber officinale) into instant ginger. this training to program at village level to educate women on various aspects of family welfare Bulurejo Benjeng Gresik. the purpose of this activity is to utilize medicinal plants and can improve the health of the community independently by utilizing medicinal plants, as well as provide knowledge to the community of the importance of medicinal plants for health and gives an understanding of how management and utilization of medicinal plants, as well as familiarize the people to plant and utilizing medicinal plants in the home environment, the methods used are active learning and parcipatory learning, which includes lectures, practice of processing plants healthy and continue with the discussion of the results of this training, this training showed knowledge about the importance of medicinal plants for health, as well as skills processing of medicinal plants for program at village level to educate women on various aspects of family welfare.
