Abstract

Kegiatan budidaya microgreens memiliki beberapa keuntungan terutama pada nutrisi tanaman. Nutrisi yang terkandung pada microgreens lebih tinggi daripada tanaman yang dipanen saat dewasa. Tanaman microgreens memiliki beberapa kandungan seperti vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B1, phytochemical dan betakaroten. Microgreens memiliki peluang besar dalam bisnis. Saat proses komersialisasi dapat dimasukkan dalam kotak berisi subsrat maupun sudah dipotong.Kegiatan sosialisasi microgreens dilaksanakan di kelurahan Jemur Wonosari, Kecamatan Wonocolo, Kota Surabaya. Partisipan sosialisasi ini adalah perwakilan dari kelompok tani dan seluruh ketua RW Kelurahan Jemur Wonosari. Adapaun bahan yang digunakan adalah benih tanaman sayuran, rockwool, air, dan cocopeat. Alat yang digunakan adalah tray microgreens dan spray air. Hasil Kegiatan sosialisasi budidaya microgreens ini membawa dampak positif bagi masyarakat khususnya dalam pengetahuan mengenai sistem urban farming. Masyarakat lebih megetahui sistem urban farming lainnya selain hidroponik. Microgreens dapat menjadi alternatif menjaga ketahanan pangan skala tiap hunian.

Abstract

Kultur jaringan merupakan salah satu teknik budidaya tanaman secara vegetatif yang dapat digunakan untuk perbanyakan tanaman dengan waktu yang relatif singkat dengan menggunakan media tanam yang mengandung unsur hara mikro, makro dan zat pengatur tumbuh. Pengenalan dan pelatihan teknik kultur jaringan yang ditujuhkan kepada guru MGMP Biologi se-Jawa Timur dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai tambahan pengetahuan dalam memperkenalkan kultur jaringan saat mengajar di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan virtual web conference. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner didapatkan peserta mengalami kenaikan hasil sebesar 59,26% tentang pengenalan dan pelatihan teknik kultur jaringan (teknis kultur jaringan, tahap persiapan, tahap inisiasi, tahap multiplikasi, tahap aklimatisasi).

Abstract

In Indonesia, an education system is implemented where students with special learning needs can get education in public schools. One type of child with special needs that is accepted by public schools is a slow learner. Slow learner children usually have various things during learning, such as difficulty in understanding abstract concepts, low motivation to learn, slow to understand material, and need to understand repetitive material. Therefore, community service is needed which aims to provide special assistance to slow learner students to help students learn mathematics. Partners in this service are 2 slow learner students from 2 schools in Yogyakarta. The stages of this service consist of 3 stages, namely the preparation, mentoring and evaluation stages of learning. The results of the service show that there is an increase in mathematical understanding for slow learner students. Students become easier to understand the mathematical material presented by various methods and teaching aids that have been developed by the team.

Abstract

Di wilayah kelurahan Jemur Wonosari memiliki potensi pertanian yang sangat berkembang misalnya tanaman hidroponik yang sudah maju serta terdapat sayur dan buah yang juga ditanam di wilayah Kelurahan Jemur Wonosari, seperti pisang, dan beberapa tanaman buah lainnya. Dari beberapa tanaman tersebut batang pisang bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai POC (Pupuk Organik Cair) untuk merangsang pertumbuhan buah dan biji yang digunakan pada pertanian di Jemur Wonosari. Kegiatan sosialisasi tentang POC (Pupuk Organik Cair) ini bertujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada POKTAN dan masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan limbah batang pisang menjadi lebih bermanfaat untuk sektor pertanian Metode yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi pembuatan POC (Pupuk Organik Cair) oleh mahasiswa KKNT Kelompok 57 2022 di kelurahan Jemur Wonosari dibagi menjadi empat tahap yaitu observasi, diskusi, percobaan, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan. POC (Pupuk Organik Cair) dibuat dari sisa tanaman berikut alat dan bahan yang digunakan yaitu batang pisang, gula atau molase, EM4 atau MOL, air bersih dan ember kapasitas 20L. Partisipan kegiatan soasialisasi ini dihadiri oleh 15 orang terdiri dari Kelompok Tani Mina Sari yang berjumlah 4 orang, dosen pendamping lapangan, PIC, dan anggota kelompok yang terdiri dari 9 orang. Hasil kegiatan sosialisasi ini berdampak positif bagi POKTAN dan masyarakat sekitar karena dapat meningkatkan keterampilan untuk memanfaatkan limbah disekitar dapat membuat pupuk organik.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults, there are many changes experienced by adolescents, causing various kinds of problems, including reproductive health and psychology. The posyandu activities in Jati Kalang village, Prambon Sidoarjo didn’t run optimally. The community service activities are aimed at optimizing youth posyandu activities. This activity was attended by 12 health cadres and 33 adolescent organizations. This activity starts with the formation of health cadres by involving cadres and youth in Jati Kalang village and joining by workshop and training. The result of this activity indicates that the youth posyandu activities in Jati Kalang have been active again, through the formation of adolescent health cadres, and the holding of workshops and training health cadres on government programs related to youth posyandu, prevention of anemia, adolescent nutritional, adolescent reproductive health counselling and implementation five table system, as well as the delivery of medical equipment to support youth posyandu facilities. Youth posyandu activities held every 2 months at Jati Kalang village hall Prambon Sidoarjo. Conclusion: The adolescent of Jati Kalang village were very enthusiastic to participate in the youth posyandu activities. The series of activities had run fluent and received a good response from the community.

Abstract

Hate speech is one of the serious problems related to the presence of the internet, particularly social media. Media literacy education on hate speech is one of the efforts to overcome the problem. This community service was held in Klaseman Village, Sukoharjo. It aims to increase the community service target’s media literacy on hate speech. The community service target is expected to be able to access the internet wisely and avoid the practice of hate speech. The result achieved from the community service is that the target of community service had the knowledge and skills to prevent and counter the spread of hate speech on the internet.

Abstract

The Cultivation of high-density fish requires artificial feed with high protein content for growth. The higher the protein contained in the feed, the more expensive the feed price, while the feed is the largest cost reaching 60-70% of the production cost. In addition to the problem of feed in high-stocking density fish farming, of course, the waste disposal is also getting higher, which causes failure in the cultivation business. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to make a breakthrough in the cultivation system, one of which is catfish farming using a biofloc system by utilizing heterotrophic bacteria proven to reduce ammonia waste discharge in ponds. The results of this study need to be immediately socialized through training activities for high school teachers. The pretest and post-test results of trainees based on the percentage of activity objectives showed an increase with an average of 55%. It is hoped that the results of the training for high school biology teachers will not only get new knowledge about the application of biofloc to catfish farming. The knowledge gained can be disseminated to students in their schools to support better biology learning

Abstract

SSumberejo is one of the villages in Batu City which has potential in the agricultural sector. Around 2020 it was announced as a tourist village picking vegetables. To accommodate and facilitate the activities of farmers, a Barokah Village Owned Enterprise (Bumdes) was formed. The increasing demand for vegetables in the market demands that agricultural production must also be increased. Consequently, the need for fertilizer will increase. During this time mostly use chemical fertilizers and in a long time. This will cause an imbalance of nutrients in the soil. For this reason, an action is needed to find a solution to improve nutrients in the agricultural land. One of them is utilizing vegetable waste and other organic waste as material for making liquid organic fertilizer. This training involved 12 students who were involved in the Community Service 2022 program. Where they will provide training stages starting from providing training materials and hands-on practice in making liquid organic fertilizer (POC). POC is made from vegetable waste, cheese waste (whey) and bioactivator (Molika) and a bucket with a capacity of 20 L. This training was attended by 15 Bumdes members, 3 field assistant lecturers. The result of this training activity is an increase in the knowledge and skills of Bumdes members to utilize vegetable waste to make liquid organic fertilizer

Abstract

Community service activities were attended by 29 participants from 33 registrants via Google form, this activity was carried out online using Google Meet. The purpose of this activity is to increase participants' knowledge about the importance and benefits of the stages in preparing standard operating procedures for their business. Another objective is to increase knowledge about the implementation of good standard operating procedures. Community Service activities are carried out through 3 stages consisting of: the preparation stage, the implementation stage, which consists of several phases, namely: the initial phase, the working phase (the servant introduces the activity participants, the servant conducts material presentation). The next stage is the activity evaluation stage which consists of evaluating the activity process and evaluating the results of the activity. The objective of community service activities has increased with an average increase of 47.84%. This shows that the knowledge of participants in community service activities regarding standard operating procedures has increased and is in accordance with the objectives of the activity.

Abstract

Pengabdian warga yang dilaksanakan ini bertujuan untuk memberi pendampingan serta penyuluhan di desa Kalanganyar. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan mengaplikasikan sistem presentasi, pembicaraan interaktif, serta praktek langsung guna meningkatkan keahlian serta kreatifitas. Keinginan dari pendampingan yang sudah dikerjakan ini, warga tak hanya memiliki pengetahuan saja. tetapi juga pengetahuan luas selaku pengusaha kecil yang kreatif serta inovatif dalam pengolahan minyak goreng sisa ataupun minyak jelantah sebagai bahan baku pembuatan lilin aromaterapi. Pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk  tingkatkan ekonomi, tetapi juga pemahaman akan kebersihan, kesehatan lingkungan serta bahayanya pelaksanaan minyak goreng secara berulang.
