Abstract

This business plan aims to identify, analyze and develop the business strategy of Herona Express related to freight forwarding services, branch brand image and airline cooperation in its development. This business plan uses internal SWOT, TOWS RBV and VRIO analysis and external porter analysis's five models and Pestel analysis. This business plan explains how Herona Express will develop its business by adding services and branch brand image and cooperate with airlines so that the income that will be obtained will increase. It is expected that the business development plan produced can help its development for the next five years. This business development plan is projected with a payback period for 0.5 years or for 6.5 months and an IRR of 100%. This business development plan shows that business development is profitable and feasible to run.

Abstract

Lee Kuan Yew merupakan Perdana Menteri Singapura pada periode 1953-1990. Dalam masa kepemimpinannya, Lee menuai pro-kontrasi gaya kepemimpinan yang  otoriter sekaligus demokratis, yang kemudian disebut sebagai mobokrasi atau hybrid regime atau ‘Demokrasi ala Asia’ yaitu membatasi kebebasan demokrasi dengan tujuan untuk dapat memelihara tradisi komunitas di Singapura. Oleh beberapa pakar, Lee digambarkan sebagai pemimpin yang kharismatik, diktator, dan sekaligus pemimpin transformasional, karena mampu memotivasi dan membawa kemajuan besar pada semua sektor. Model kepemimpinan Lee telah menjadi alat pemelihara proses politik dan ekonomi Singapura yang berkinerja tinggi dan stabil, dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Lee berhasil merubah Singapura menjadi negara maju dan negara metropolitan ketiga di dunia dengan waktu yang relatif singkat (tiga dekade). Oleh The Heritage Foundation dalam 2013 Ten Economic Freedom, Singapura mendapat peringkat kedua dunia dengan skor rata-rata 88.0 sebagai negara yang memiliki kepatuhan hukum, pemerintahan yang terbatas, efisiensi, dan pasar tebuka. Selain itu, Singapura berhasil memperoleh GDP US$14.000, serta negara yang bersih dari korupsi.Kata Kunci: kepemimpinan, demokrasi, otoriter, Lee Kuan Yew   Lee Kuan Yew was the Prime Minister of Singapore in the period of 1953-1990. During his leadership, Lee evoked the controversy of an authoritarian and democratic leadership style, which was known as mobocracy or hybrid regime that limits the democratic freedom with the aim at maintaining the traditions of the community in Singapore. Some experts think that Lee is described as a charismatic, dictator and transformational leader because he is able to motivate and bring great progress to all sectors. At the same time, Lee's leadership model has become a tool for maintaining Singapore's high-performance and stable political and economic processes. Lee managed to turn Singapore into a developed country and the third metropolitan country in the world with a relatively short time (three decades). By The Heritage Foundation in the 2013 Ten Economic Freedom, Singapore was the second rank in the world with an average score of 88.0 as a country that has legal compliance, limited governance, efficiency, and open markets. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada PT WB dengan tujuan menganalisis pengaruh Kompetensi dan Kinerja Karyawan terhadap Pengembangan Karir di perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri konstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan sampel 100 responden sebagai sampel sekaligus populasi atau disebut sampel jenuh. Model test menggunakan SPSS versi 23.0.0. Uji validitas dan reabilitas dengan menggunakan taraf signifikan 0,05 dan uji multikolinearitas dengan ambang batas toleransi 0.10, uji normalitas menggunakan tes Kolmogorov-Smirnov. Didapatkan hasil kesimpulan bahwa kompetensi karyawan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan dan kinerja karyawan juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengembangan karir karyawan.

Abstract

The appeal of an advertisement is measured whether it can attract the attention of the viewers or not. For this purpose, TOP instant coffee uses a credible endorser to advertising its brand. This study is aimed to analyze the influence of the endorser’s credibility on brand equity and purchase intention. This research involved 162 respondents those are instant coffee lovers. The result found that the endorser credibility has positive impact on brand equity, but there’s only one aspect that influence brand equity, that is trustworthiness. Other aspects of endorser’s credibility partially influence brand equity. Endorser credibility also has positive impact on purchase intention, but only for one aspect, that is trustworthiness. Others aspects those are attractiveness and expertise have no effect on purchase intention. Brand equity also influence positively on purchase intention. Three aspects of brand equity including perceived quality, brand awareness and brand loyalty have significant effect on purchase intention, however only brand association that has no effect on purchase intention. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between financial performance to expected return in bank sector listed on Indonesian stock exchange (BEI) in 2009 – 2017, by partial and simultaneous equation model. The research population was limited to banking sector and research’s sample was used to sampling based on the total of biggest assets from 11 banks. This research used panel data model with regression analysis on E-views 10 programme to gauge the impact of independent variables (Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non-Performing Loan, Net Interest Margin, Return on Assets, Loan to Deposit Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Price to Book Value) to the dependent variable (expected return). The results showed that CAR, NPL, NIM, ROA, DER, LDR, and PBV ratios have significant and positive impacts on expected return by simultaneous equation model. In partial equation model, CAR, NPL, NIM, and ROA ratios have not significant and have positive impacts on expected return. DER’s ratio has significant and positive impact on expected return. LDR and PBV ratios have significant and negative impacts on expected return.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the level of liquidity as measured by the Current Ratio, the level of profitability measured by Net Profit Margin and the level of leverage measured by the Debt to Asset Ratio effect on Company Value as measured by Price to Book Value in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2010-2017. The analytical method used begins with descriptive analysis, model estimation, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, then hypothesis. The results of this study indicate that the Current Ratio, Net Profit Margin and Debt To Asset Ratio significantly influence the Price To Book Value both partially and simultaneously. Judging from the magnitude of the regression coefficient Net Profit Margin is the largest, it means that the contribution of changes in the Net Profit Margin to Price to Book Value is the largest of the independent variables in this study. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as a reference for Investors in making investment decisions as well as for the Management of the Company to increase Company Value.

Abstract

This research aims to test the influence of capital structure towards the stock price to the firm size as variable moderation. The population used is company property and real estate sectors listed on the Indonesia stock exchange during the year 2015 to 2017. The sample in this research as much as 78 obtained with the method of purposive sampling. This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression for hypothesis testing. The test results show that the capital structure has an effect on stock prices, and capital structure has an effect on stock prices moderated by the firm size.
