Abstract

The acoustic guitar is one of the most popular musical instruments because music itself is a universal language that everyone can understand. Acoustic guitars are available in many choices such as wood types, brands, prices, and many sizes. Many people who want to buy a guitar are often confused when they have to choose an acoustic guitar that suits their needs, this happens because there are many aspects of an acoustic guitar that must be considered as already mentioned. The demands of work and the busyness of today’s society This makes many people unable to choose and see the acoustic guitar according to their needs in music stores. Therefore, this system was created as an acoustic guitar recommendation system, so that people can choose an acoustic guitar that suits their needs and buy an acoustic guitar online based on people’s preferences. The recommendations given by this system are obtained from calculations using the simple additive weighting method or known as the weighted addition method. This simple additive weighting method has been tested in this study and can be implemented correctly and as needed. End-user satisfaction is also obtained using the end-user computing satisfaction (EUCS) method so that the recommendation system that has been successfully built can be said to be very good for users in providing acoustic guitar recommendations.

Abstract

Many studies can be used as references regarding the application of information systems in companies that can optimize business processes. Information Systems can be designed according to the needs of each company. Concerning the company, PT Artindo Pratama Sejahtera is a private company engaged in paint production. One of the problems in business processes at the company is when the sales report activity from the salesperson to the warehouse admin section needs to be recorded in the database because it still uses the short message/chat application media. In addition, the short messages/chats often pile up. Based on the literature review that has been done from previous research, these problems can be overcome by implementing an information system. The purpose and contribution of this research are to optimize business processes in reporting activities so that they become integrated. The output of this research is a website-based Sales Reporting Information System. Before the Information System was implemented at PT Artindo Pratama Sejahtera, functionality testing was carried out by system users using the User Acceptance Test (UAT) method with the black box testing model and obtaining results according to company needs so that they could overcome the problems described earlier.

Abstract

Mobile phone technology has undergone developments which makes it can provide a variety of facilities to support productivity and efficiency in the form of smartphones. Emarketer digital marketing research institute estimates that in 2018 there will be more than 100 million active smartphone users in Indonesia. In early 2019, the number of smartphone users reached 355 million, which more than 33% of the total population of Indonesia reached 268.2 million. With the large number of smartphone users, the number of mobile application downloads will also increase. This phenomenon is accompanied by the development of Esports (Electronic Sports) in Indonesia. The method used for the design and manufacture of systems in this thesis is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method, because the data that the authors obtained from RevivalTV are suitable with this methodology.

Abstract

Educational game is a learning media that is educating, where the media can encourage students to think creatively and carry out activities with fellow students in playing games in learning activities. Educational games are very interesting to develop, there are several advantages of educational games compared to conventional educational methods, one of the main advantages of educational games is the visualization of real problems. Based on the pattern belongs by the game, players are required to learn so they can solve existing problems. With these developments, it can be used as children's learning to introduce waste, which many still do not understand in terms of sorting organic and non-organic waste. environment and add value to the waste itself. The current waste problem is getting more and more unavoidable. It will be more complex if it continues to be left unchecked. The education carried out starts from early childhood with the aim of instilling a pattern of cleanliness and discipline in disposing of waste. This educational game based on Android is supported by smartphone technology that is growing rapidly. This game can be used as an alternative medium of learning in Early Childhood Education in changing conventional learning methods into learning simulation games, so as to develop the children's creativity, because educational games have elements of challenge, accuracy, reasoning and ethics. Currently, smartphones are also equipped with many new facilities that allow users to do many things. Smartphones have also been equipped with operating systems such as Android. Android is an operating system for Linux-based Mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware, and applications. Abstract

In the User Experience (UX) analysis carried out using the User Centered Design (UCD) approach, the research is based on user-oriented design. A website based on the UCD process will definitely generate high levels of satisfaction for its users. In this research, user experience analysis was conducted using a User Centered Design approach with Product Market Fit concept orientation. This concept is often ignored so that it becomes a major factor in the failure of a business start-up. The collection was carried out through several processes, namely in-depth interviews and distribution of questionnaires to a total of 30 respondents. The results of the questionnaire can be used as a reference to find out which aspects are good and which are still lacking. The aspect of displaying information on the monitor screen when opening a website gets the highest score of the other aspects with a percentage of 93% user satisfaction. The conclusion for each aspect states that the curious websites that are analyzed get a decent title.

Abstract

So far, in determining and looking for criteria for good/excellent seeds, farmers do not have the right tools or methods. The selection of good/superior seeds is done based on personal experience and views, even some of the Sinabung refugees who cultivate carrots do not know the source of the seeds they use. Varieties of carrots are also very many kinds, almost 40 kinds of varieties. Each variety has different growing criteria and requirements. Thus, this becomes an additional difficulty factor in determining the quality of the type of carrot seed to be planted. This of course affects the production of carrots at harvest. Harvest production is not proportional to the area of land used. Based on the problems above, the search for superior seeds using a decision support algorithm can provide recommendations. This algorithm will provide recommendations for the quality of carrot seeds based on the criteria or characteristics that must be prepared in the selection of plants. The algorithm developed uses the Weighted Product (WP) algorithm. The WP method is a recommendation method with weighting against predetermined criteria. The weights given are based on research results and expert experience. From the results of this trial, several recommendations for prospective carrot plants are sorted based on the results of the algorithm calculations and can be used as superior seeds that produce greater production. The results of the study are expected to because of this research, the system has succeeded in providing recommendations for the best carrot seeds that can help increase carrot production and help economic resilience for farmers displaced by Mount Sinabung.

Abstract

PT XYZ is one of the Travel Agent companies in Indonesia that is aware the value of information security, as shown due to the ISO 27001:2013 certification in 2021. However, there are still areas that must be adjusted to improve the company's Information Security Management System. In this study, the CAPD (Check-Act-Plan-Do) technique was used, with the KAMI Index supporting as an information security evaluation tool in compliance with ISO 27001:2013 standards. Check examines the firm's present state, Act evaluates the areas identified in the KAMI Index, Plan analyzes the evaluation outcomes and makes recommendations in accordance with ISO 27001: 2013 and Do offers recommendations to the company. The results of the evaluation show that PT XYZ received a score of 623 from 645 and the value is in the green area, indicating that it is in the "Good" category. The evaluation findings from PT XYZ's KAMI Index are decent but have not yet achieved the highest rating. To help PT XYZ, maximize the Information Security Management System, its existence is utilized as a finding that is compared to the ISO 27001: 2013 standard and results in recommendations for improvement.

Abstract

Genshin Impact is a game that has lots of amazing playable and time-limited characters. Many F2P players are in a dilemma most of the time, and can’t choose the characters they should draw. This research’s aim is to design and develop a web-based decision support system capable of ranking the best characters based on five combat roles to help F2P fans or player to select the best character, using the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) method. SAW is capable of choosing the desired criteria (DPS, Heal, Shield, Buff, and Elemental) and each of their weight. The result of the recommendation is for Genshin Impact fans to be able to make a decision on whom they should pull-based. The implementation of this method is in the form of a prototype of a website making it easier for users to use the system anywhere and anytime.
