Abstract

Broadcasting dominated "Jakarta" program and foreign programs. Local broadcast program is minimalist, even zero. This fact as the impact of media conglomeration. How is the implementation of local programs serving on various television stations in DIY? How does endeavor to KPID DIY enforce the fulfillment of local programs serving at DIY? How the role of KPID DIY? The paradigm of this research is quantitative-qualitative data based on primary and secondary. As a result, there are 11 television station has not aired local programs with a duration of at least 10 percent of the time it broadcasts per day. KPID DIY has lifted the first written reprimand letter to 12 television station managers in DIY.

Abstract

This research is a cultural research. The theme is the existence of culture in Tanjung village, Pakis Aji, Jepara. This research is aimed at finding out khasanah about the existence of local culture happened in Tanjung village. This study uses an ethnoghrapy approach to find out the exixtence the Reog, Barongan, and Janggrong culture in Tanjung village. The findings of this research are: 1) The existence of Reog, Barongan, and Ketoprak culture have been started to be faded. This is because of aversing of young generatios in that village to study and practice about the cultures. Fortunaltely, there is a prominent figure who can perform Reog, Barongan, and Ketoprak; 2) whereas the Janggong culture has been lost in that village. It is because the performer of Janggong passed away. Fortunately, a gong buyut that is a tool of Janggrong is still exist until now. This tool is as an evidence of archaeological site occured in Tanjung village.

Abstract

The research analyses the influence of communication climate and leadership style towards teacher motivation at Demak Regency. The background of the research is the decrease of teacher motivation at Demak Regency. The problem of the research refers to the data on the Office of Education, Youth and Sports of Demak Regency showing the low teacher’s motivation. Is there an influence of communication climate towards teacher’s motivation at Demak Regency ? Is there an influence of leadership style towards teacher’s motivation at Demak Regency ? Is there an influence of communication climate and leadership style towards teacher’s motivation at Demak Regency ? and how far do the communication climate and leadership style influence teacher’s motivation at Demak Regency ? The purpose of the research is to find out and measure the influence of communication climate and leadership style towards teacher’s motivation at Demak Regency. The theory applied in the research is Maslow Hierarchy theory, X-Y Mc Gregor theory and perception on motivation theory by using positivistic paradigm. The type of the research is explanative, that is explaining causal relationship inter-variable through hypothesis examination. The population of the research is all State Senior High School teachers having status of Civil Servant at Demak Regency. Sample is taken by using proportional sampling and the amount of respondent is 74 people. The method used in the research is primary data uptake using questionnaire. Data analysis technique uses Multiple Linier Regression. The result of the research concludes that communication climate and leadership style influence teacher’s motivation at Demak Regency as much as 61,7% and the rest of 38,3% was affected by other variables beside communication climate and leadership style. The result of the research is in line with the theory of perception on motivation explaining that person’s working vitality will influence the way they perceive the situation of his working environment. The person’s working vitality will appear when there is a concern, conformity, reliance and satisfaction. The assumption of the leader describing that the officer works not only for the fee but due to the reliance, expression and the responsibility given by the leader in working, appropriate with X-Y Mc. Gregor theory. The findings is also appropriate with Maslow hierarchy theory stating that the needs fulfillment and working environment’ conform make person’s working motivation better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the method, implementation and influence of da'wah of Muslimat NU in Nyamuk Karimunjawa Jepara. This type of research is field research with qualitative approach. The subjects in the study were NU Muslimate chiefs, and members of NU Muslimat. Technique of collecting data using interview, observation, and documentation, while data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that 1) Method of da'wah of Muslimat NU in Nyamuk, Karimunjawa, Jepara Regency is quite good, because da'wah method is done through organization activity. In the activities of da'wah is done through activities in Mosque and Mosque in some Moslem Village and hold public recitation every year at harah Muslimat NU; 2) Implementation of da'wah of Muslimat NU in Nyamuk, Karimunjawa, Jepara District include: delivering ukhuwah Islamiyah material to all members of Muslimat NU, giving understanding and freedom to NU members to associate with anyone without any negative assumptions to organizations other than Muslimat or NU, establishing cooperation and coordination with other women's Islamic organizations in religious and social events, providing compensation to those in need, conducting muslimat recitation activities in mosques and mosques; 3) The influence of da'wah Muslimat NU in Nyamuk, Karimunjawa, Jepara Regency include: can foster women about religious and social, giving knowledge and understanding about Islamic teachings to members of jama'ah, there are educational institutions that kindergarten and TPQ, Who participated in the development of Nyamuk Village, there are many mosque-learning activities in Musholla or Mosque in Nyamuk Village.

Abstract

The practitioner role of public relations is main subject in the study and research of public relations. Based on survey to 60 practitioners of public relations in Yogyakarta, it was obtained the finding that the dichotomy of managerial and technician role no longer occurs fully. Manager in some aspects has involved in working the technician roles. Then, the public relations staff started to involve in managerial role especially in the role of communication facilitator. This becomes an indication that the role of public relations is increasingly important for organization. It is not only for manager of public relations but also for their staff. Keywords: public relations, organization, managerial role, technician role Peran praktisi public relations merupakan bahasan utama dalam studi dan penelitian public relations. Berdasarkan survei terhadap 60 praktisi public relations di Yogyakarta diperoleh temuan bahwa dikotomi peran manajerial dan teknisi tidak lagi berlaku sepenuhnya. Manajer dalam beberapa hal sudah terlibat untuk menjalankan peran-peran teknisi. Sedangkan staf humas sudah mulai terlibat dalam peran manajerial terutama dalam peran fasilitator komunikasi. Hal ini menjadi pertanda bahwa peran public relations semakin penting bagi organisasi, tidak hanya untuk posisi manajer humas tetapi juga untuk staf humas. Abstract

This study aimed to obtain the latest information regarding the successor to the current struggle of Sunan Giri, and the linkage with the existing variables. This research is descriptive qualitative. Subjects in this study is shobirin as the head of the Foundation grave of Sunan Giri. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used by qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that Sunan Giri is also known as a science tauhidi, as well as fiqh science. He was very careful when decide the law, fearing that does not accordance with the teachings of the Prophet. In the matter of worship, known as Sunan Giri not compromise with the old customs and beliefs. About worship, Sunan Giri should be implemented purely and consistently. the mean is not to be mixed with the animism. Implementation of worship must be in accordance with the rules in the Al-qu'an and Sunnah. Sunan Giri used to broadcast Islamic Art. The art form of art song and game like a child's jamuran game, jelungan, bendi Gerit, Gula Ganti, Cublak-Cublak Suweng, lir-ilir song and others. He also created the musical Asmaradhana and Pucung.

Abstract

This paper examines the news Compass and the Independent Voice of the National Conference and Konbes Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) which was held on 14 to 17 September 2012. What is studied is how the media was proclaiming the national conference, as every news certainly has viewpoints and special interests who either consciously or no effect on how to write his message. Technically, fifteen articles were published both studied through framing device belongs Zhondang and Kosicki. What then is found in this study shows that in general the compass to be more careful as well as the synthesis of more put particularity of the General Assembly in the spectrum of nationalism or the problems of nationality and not provocative Suara Merdeka which tend to be more vivid and striking on the issues that are currently hot discussion.But be aware that this assessment reveal several trends in the news several specific reports that do not necessarily reflect a particular ideology, although the picture can give dikomparasi and further siseintesakancoverage through the coverage of different objects.

Abstract

Public speaking is a person's skill to be able to speak in public. In public speaking activities, there is a need for harmony between the speaker and listener so both can communicateeach other well. The purpose of this study was to describe the form of Verbal and Non-verbal Communication Implementation in Public Speaking Activities for Students at the Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, Amtsilati Putri Bangsri Jepara. These problems were discussed through field studies. The data obtained through free interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The results showed that the public speaking activities of students at the Darul Falah Islamic boarding school Amtsilati Putri Bangsri Jepara were: (1) Forms of verbal communication implemented in Public speaking activities in the form of spoken words, use of language and understanding of the meaning of the material delivered by the speaker. (2) Forms of nonverbal communication implemented in public speaking activities of santri at Darul Falah Amtsilati Putri Islamic boarding school in the form of spatial and temporal cues, including visual cues (kinesic, facial expression and eye contact), hand signals, and the use of vocal cues which include paralinguistic sound quality and vocalization.

Abstract

Impersonal communication is the most basic thing. Through the good impersonal communication, the relationship that tied in is good too. In “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” movie, there are some scene that describe impersonal communication among the actors. Besides as the place of impersonal communication, “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” contains the preaching contents that can be use for faundation of attitude and standing. The movie was released on July 2015 that directed by Kuntz Agus. The purpose of the research is to know how the pattern of impersonal communication in “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” movie, and search the preaching contents that contained in it. The kind of the research is descriptive qualitative and semiotic data analysis of Roland Barthes type. The result of the research is the communication that used among the actors of “Surga yang Tak Dirindukan” movie. It is diadic communication (communication between two people), that happen on primer and secunder. But sometimes also use triadic communication (communication among three people). Some preaching contents that contained in it are helping someone who needs, being a good leader, being a loyal wife, being a good sincer kind mother and sincerity to yield.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the message contained in the book "Learn to Bees and Flies" by KH. Agoes Ali Masyhuri published by Zaman. The book contains advice on how to live with the rules of Islam in order to live a blessing or goodness from God. After the authors carefully, the message contained in the book "Learn to Bees and Flies" contains a message of faith that is about believing in God and the qualities he has and also the moral character that explains how to behave to fellow beings of God. The three messages of sharia, the message to always run the worship that is required of God to man. Researchers use content analysis method or content analisys that is analyzing the content of data under study by using qualitative approach. From the results of this study we can find out what the content of da'wah contained in the book "Learn to Bees and Flies".
