Abstract

The problem faced is the lack of student interest; this is because biology subjects make students easily bored and assume biology is one of the difficult subjects. At the time of observation the teacher is more dominant in the learning process, so students' creativity is lacking. Learning models are needed that are appropriate learning models so as to be able to increase student creativity in sparking ideas, answers, solving problems or questions, skills in seeing problems from different points of view, the ability to give birth to new and unique expressions and able to improve students' abilities in terms of skills or develop students' ideas in the learning process. This type of research is classroom action research with a Number Head Together (NHT) type of cooperative learning model. The results of the first cycle students' creativity test results 78.94% while in the second cycle increased 5.27% with a percentage of 84.21%, the results of observations on students in the first cycle showed the results of 65.27% experienced an increase of 10.45% in the cycle II with the results of a percentage of 75.72% and the results of observations of the activities of teachers in the first cycle obtained 72% in the second cycle increased by 16% to 88%. From this study it was concluded that through the Number Head Together (NHT) learning model can increase creativity Grade XI student MIA 2 MAN Siabu.Keywords: Creativity, Number Head Together, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

his study aims to produce a teaching material based on the scientific approach that is valid, practical, and effective and can increase creativity in biology learning in high school class X. The method used in this development is the 4-D Model (Four D Model) development model, which consists of four stages are: define, design, develop, and spread (disseminate). Development research is a research method for developing products and improving products. The defining stage is carried out by the determination of learning conditions by analyzing competency standards and boundaries of the subject matter that will be taught by the teacher based on the 2013 curriculum content standards. The planning stage for the preparation of instruments needed in this study and the design of prototype teaching materials. Development stage 1) expert appraisal followed by revision, and 2) development trials limited to students (developmental testing). Stage of dissemination (disseminate) by publishing teaching material that has been developed in the form of a journal. The ability of students has increased, this can be seen from the percentage of classical completeness of students in the first trial of 36%, and the percentage of classical completeness of students in the second trial was 83%. In other words an increase in the biological representation of students in the ecosystem material from the first trial to the second trial increased. Keywords: Development, Teaching Materials, Creativity

Abstract

The low ability of students in the field of mathematics based on the results of the Trend In International Mathematics And Science Study (TIMSS) research has become an evaluation for governments and teachers in the process of learning mathematics. Abstract mathematical learning concepts are one of the causes of students' difficulty in understanding mathematics. Therefore, in teaching mathematics, teachers must provide a bridge so that mathematics looks more concrete for elementary school students. Real Mathematics Education (RME) is one approach that teachers can use in learning mathematics. RME is an approach to learning mathematics that uses the context of everyday life to introduce mathematics. The context of everyday life is a concrete bridge to introduce abstract mathematical concepts. The purpose of this study is to apply RME in mathematics learning to improve problem-solving abilities and mathematics learning outcomes of 5th-grade students at Muhammadiyah Argosari Elementary School. This type of research is classroom action research. The implementation of this research consisted of two cycles. The results of this study indicate that RME can be used as alternative learning to improve problem-solving abilities and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of cooperative learning models of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type on learning to improve student learning outcomes. The subject of this research was the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Batang Onang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research design used was the Kemmis and Mc model. Taggart which includes the stages of planning, action and observation, and reflection. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets, student activity scale, and LKS. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Based on the results of data analysis in the first cycle of meeting I showed an increase in student mathematics learning outcomes. Research Results, namely an increase in student learning outcomes The average grade value when the pre test is only 38.67. The class average value increased by 63 in cycle I. The average grade value in the first cycle still did not meet the KKM set by the school. In the second cycle the average value of the class experienced an increase of 85.33. Classical learning completeness in the first cycle was only 53%. In cycle II classical learning completeness becomes 96%. This shows an increase in students' classical learning completeness by 43%. Keywords: Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Learning Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Dengan melihat tingkat kompetensi guru dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran dikelas masih kurang perlu dilakukan supervisi ( pengawasan ) sehingga mutu pembelajaran dan hasilnya  dapat meningkat, 1). Bagaimana Perkembangan proses supervisi kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SD Negeri 157019 Pinangsori 12 ? 2). Bagaimanakah peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru di SD Negeri 157019 Pinangsori 12 setelah diterapkan pendekatan supervisi kolaboratif ? 1).Tujuan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru di SD Negeri 157019 Pinangsori 12 2.) untuk mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru di SD negeri 157019 Pinangsori 12 setelah diterapkan pendekatan supervisi kolaboratif. Prosedur Penelitian ini meliputi 2 Siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri atas Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 157019 Pinangsori 12, dengan obyek penelitian guru – guru SD Negeri 157019 Pinangsori 12 yang berjumlah 18 orang guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan supervisi kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru  Pada Prasiklus rata – rata kompetensi guru sebesar 52,27 %, pada siklus I terjadi peningkatan kompetensi sebesar 70,45 % dengan kriteria cukup. Sedangkan Pada siklus II kompetensi guru mengalami kenaikan sebesar 88, 64 % dengan kriteria baik. Kata Kunci : Meningkatkan Kompetensi Profesional guru, Pendekatan Supervisi Kolaboratif.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penilitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah Concept Sentence. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan yang terdiri dari 34 orang siswa. Sedangkan teknik dan alat pengumpul data yaitu tes dan observasi. Hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari tes Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 61,76%, pada siklus II menjadi 76,47% dengan peningkatan sebesar 14,71%. Kemudian aktivitas belajar biologi siswa meningkat, hal ini diperoleh dari persentase 60,25% siklus I, dan 75,25% pada siklus II. Sehingga peningkatan sebesar 15%.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low student learning outcomes. The type of study is class action research. The Learning Model used is (GQGA) Giving Question And Getting Answer. The subject of this study is a student of grade X SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batang Gadis consisting of 21 students. The technique and Data collector tools are tests and observations. The results of the study can be seen from the student study results test at Cycle I with an average value of 62%, in cycle II to 76% with an increase of 14%. Then the students ' biological learning activities increased, it obtained from a percentage of 53% cycle I, and 73% in cycle II. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models in the thematic learning of 5th grade students in primary schools in terms of critical thinking skills. The sample in this study was elementary school in the ylang and elementary school in the orchid group in Semarang Regency. The research sample was taken using probality technique, namely the sampling area or cluster sampling so that the research sample consisted of 6 elementary schools with a total of 110 students. The results of the study gained from the experimental class with a total student (N) of 56 students with an average value of 81.74, while the control class obtained an average value of 77.59 with (N) as many as 54 students. T test results obtained the value of the calculated t coefficient of 2.305 and a sig value of 0.023 <0.050, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted meaning that there are significant differences in the application of problem based learning and discovery learning models in terms of critical thinking skills of 5th grade students in elementary school on learning thematic.Based on the results of the study indicate that the problem based learning model of learning is more effectively used than the discovery learning model.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) mengetahui cara pengembangan produk instrumen sikap toleransi dalam pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas 5 SD, (2) mengukur tingkat validitas dan reliabilitas intrumen sikap toleransi dalam pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas 5 SD, (3) mengetahui kualitas instrumen sikap toleransi dalam pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas 5 SD.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan jenis 3 D yakni (1)Define, (2)Design, (3)Development. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 5 SDN Tegalrejo 04, SDN Ledok 02, dan SDN Salatiga 01 Kota Salatiga. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket sikap toleransi berupa skala Likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) pengembangan instrumen sikap toleransi dalam pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas 5 SD yaitu mengkaji silabus, menentukan tema, sub tema dan pembelajaran, menentukan KI/KD dan indikator, membuat RPP, membuat kisi-kisi pengukuran, membuat instrumen, validasi pakar, uji coba produk awal, penyempurnaan hasil ujicoba produk awal, ujicoba lapangan lebih luas 1 dan 2, penyempurnaan hasil ujicoba lapangan lebih luas 1 dan 2. (2) validitas instrumen dalam ujicoba produk awal 0,410 ≤rhit ≥0,713, maka validitas instrumen tinggi; ujicoba produk akhir ke 1 0,432 ≤rhit ≥0,743, maka validitas instrumen tinggi; dan ujicoba produk akhir ke 2 0,375 ≤rhit ≥0,756, maka instrumen validitas instrumen tinggi.  Instrumen terdiri 30 butir pernyatan (100%) dinyatakan valid. Reliabilitas yang dihasilkan dari ketiga ujicoba lapangan terbatas, sampai lapangan lebih luas ke 2 berturut-turut menunjukkan α sebesar 0,947,  α =0,948 dan α=0,958, maka instrument sangat reliabel. (3) Kualitas instrumen sikap toleransi dalam pembelajaran tematik siswa kelas 5 SD tergolong baik dan layak digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student chemistry learning activities and to understand students' chemical concepts through the use of art-based chemistry activities. This research is a classroom action research conducted in 2 cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA Padang Bolak State High School 2, which numbered 30 students. Data sources come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques through observation, tests, questionnaires, and interviews, then analysed using qualitative descriptive. The results showed an increase in the understanding of students' chemical concepts in the first cycle obtained 53.33% and the second cycle 83.33%. The percentage of biochemical activity of students in the first cycle was 58.68% and the second cycle was 81.06%. Based on the results of the study, it can conclude that the use of art-based chemical activities could improve students 'understanding of chemical concepts and students' chemical learning activities in synthetic bonding material in class X MIA, SMA Negeri 2 Padang Bolak 2018/2019 academic year. Keywords: Classroom Action Research, Art-based Chemistry Activities, Understanding Concept.
