Abstract

Cinema Kreatif Design Pekanbaru is a business entity in the field of camera rental services and photo studio equipment. The existing rental system is not yet effective, even though it already uses computers in processing data, but only uses Microsoft office applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word and companies experience obstacles in managing and processing data that is increasingly increasing. Errors in recording camera data and photo studio equipment that are rented and returned. This study aims to help companies provide information to customers or tenants about the specifications of cameras and photo studio equipment that they want to rent online by building a camera rental application and web-based photo studio equipment at the Cinema Kreatif Design Pekanbaru. The method used in making the application is the waterfall method, and the data collection techniques used by researchers are observation, interviews and literature. As a tool of analysis and design used is UML (Unified Modeling Language). The programming language used is PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and MySQL database. The results of the study can be concluded that with the application of camera rental and photo studio equipment, it is expected to help employees of Cinema Kreatif Design Pekanbaru in managing tool data, customer data, member data, rentals, returns and can reduce errors in the process of recording data and reduce errors in manufacturing report.

Abstract

Military communication, known tactical communications. Tactical communications support military operations is the region that does not have a fixed network infrastructure. Appropriate technology to support performance of tactical communication is Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs). Node in MANET has dynamic characteristics that will significantly influence the composition of the network topology. In tactical Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, problems that occur is the vulnerability to changes in the network topology due to node mobility. The solution face this problems is the routing protocol is suitable for use in MANET. In this study, used an approach in terms of distributed routing mechanism. In distributed routing mechanism, each node informed about the status of other nodes in the same network, and storage the information is within their local database respectively. TORA and AODV can support this mechanism, so in this study two of routing protocols will be compared in terms of dynamic adaptability, routing overhead, end-to-end delay and throughput. From this research, AODV produce better performance than TORA. For the speed of 10 m/s, the measurement of end-to-end delay is the smallest 1245.376 ms, increase in throughput of 74.363 % and the adaptability of 30.179. But the routing overhead generated greater, amounting 1359.

Abstract

The school library is one of supporting that could achieve the quality of education. It was because the library could be a source of learning in the school. Management of data processing, lending, and returning of library books could take a lot of fees and times. It was because using a ledger. Besides, the students having difficulties in order to get the books. It was because there is no technology information that provide the search engine toward a books. This research was focus on the library information system. The objective of this research were to facilitate officer in managing the library data and to make the students easy to find the books. This library application is website-based which is develop by using the PHP as programming language while MySQL as database management system. The method that used to conduct the data were structured interview, literature study, and observation which regard to the school library in making a library application. This study gives the result in the usability aspect the percentage is 79,5%, its mean that the library application could facilitate officer in processing data collection, borrowing and returning library books, moreover, the students could search the book easily.

Abstract

Until now many universities that helped the government in accelerating improving the quality of education so the creation of a competitive environment.. The abundance of data contained in the College can be put to good use in accordance with the needs and processed into useful information so as to find out the relationship between the attributes of the data in it can be on the analysis and expected output in the form of student performance has related to the period of study i.e. can be categorized into appropriate or too late in the anticipated period of study. Data mining can be used for educational institutions or institutions and often called as Educational Data Mining (EDM). In the study carried out using two models of Naive Bayes Classifier i.e. algorithms and C 4.5. as for the value of the best accuracy in the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm model (NBC) was 86.83% with ratio 80% training data, whereas in model algorithm C 4.5 was 88.10% with 90% training data ratio. Application of EDM and expected to be maximized and developed so that it can contribute to and progress in the world of education especially in data mining.

Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is defined as a single unit of sales, marketing and service strategies that prevent uncoordinated work activities between parts well and that depends on coordinated company actions. In this study, the system development model used using the waterfall model is a classic model that is systematic, sequential in building software (Mira, 2013). The advantage of this model is that the development process is very structured and systematic, through the definition of needs, so that gaps or gaps that occur between the needs and the system produced can be reduced and produce clear development direction for management. Until now, data services are still not integrated, resulting in unsatisfactory service to consumers, the absence of a customer complaint system so that companies can find out complaints in the form of criticism and suggestions to improve service to customers. In this study will build CRM on PT. Srikandi Diamond Motor by using the Waterfall model so that the system is integrated and can improve service to customers and make customer complaints so that companies can find out complaints in the form of criticism and suggestions to improve service to customers. Based on the results of the implementation and testing of this system it can be concluded that the application of data processing systems has been integrated with each other so that it can improve the quality of service to customers, in the implementation of the customer complaint system has been very helpful for companies in knowing complaints in the form of criticism and suggestions to improve service to customers.

Abstract

The process of managing data for residents in RW 01 RT 003 Kelurahan Rawa Buaya currently running, there are several identified problems, namely difficulties in finding data because it is still stored in the form of an agenda, making a cover letter that must take a long time because it is still manually recorded. The purpose of this thesis report is to design a citizen service information system using the waterfall method and for modeling the system using UML while the programming language uses PHP and for Database using MySQL. The results of this study indicate that the use of a citizen service information system can help the registration and data collection of residents in managing moving data and the process of making reports on monthly population and transparency in local RT finances as expected.

Abstract

Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology that is used to exchange information, at a lower cost, use low power, the ability to work or interact between applications through approved protocols is very good, and easy operation. The Bluetooth operating range works on the 2.4 GHz unlicensed ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) frequency band using a frequency hopping tranceiver that is able to provide real-time data and voice communication services between Bluetooth hosts. When Bluetooth devices communicate with each other, they will form a dynamic network called piconet, a network consisting of master and slave, in one piconet of no more than 7 slaves. Bluetooth also supports connections between piconets called scattemets. The mechanism for connecting between one piconet and another is called a hop mechanism.
