Abstract

Plastic waste is one of the wastes that is difficult to decompose naturally and requires a long time to decompose completey. Its single-use use results in a significant level of plastic bag consumption, resulting in the accumulation of plastic bag waste which can cause environmental pollution. The purpuse of this study was to describe the application of the andragogy approach in improving people’s life skill through training on recycling plastic bag waste. The research theory used are training theory, andragogy theory, and community education. The research theory used is descriptive with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documention. The main reason for using this instrument is to find out the appllication of the andragogy approach in improving people’s life skill through training on recyling plastic bag waste and obtaining research data as analytical material to support the prepation of reports. The results of this study illustrate the application of an andragogy approach through training on recycling plastic bag waste that can improve people’s life skill. The conclusion of this study is that this andragogy approach can increase people’s knowledge and skill in recycling plastic bag waste into various handicraft creations and can raise public awareness to reduce environmental pollition caused by the accumulation of plastic waste.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of an education and training program for Santri Ready to Use (SSG) at the Daarut Tauhid Islamic Boarding School in Bandung which is oriented towards the formation of good and strong characters (BAKU). The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of the planning, implementation, and impact of the results of the education and training of Ready-to-Use Santri  that form good and strong characters (BAKU). The research theory used is the theory of character education, education and training, and the concept of character building in public education. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were three people, consisting of coaches, program managers, trainers in Santri Ready to Use (SSG). Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation studies. The findings from this character education and training are 1) Planning, namely the preparation of the program is carried out by the SSG Daarut Tauhid program manager, so that there is synergy in determining the program to be implemented. 2) The implementation of character education and training is carried out using a strategy based on mosque activities and field practice. 3) The results of this education and training of good characters which include sincerity, honesty, humility, and strong character including courage, discipline, toughness, has met the needs of the training participants and has been implemented in daily life. The conclusion of this research is that the impact of education and training of ready-to-use students in the formation of standard characters has6been successful and the participants are able to apply these standard character values.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an effort made to give strength to the community so that the community is empowered and independent in their daily lives. This article aims to describe community empowerment in the economic field through tourism development in Tarusan, the southern coastal district. In addition, this article also seeks to see how the economic conditions of the people in the Tarusan area of the southern coastal district as a tourist area or district are. In writing this article the author uses a literature study relating to the methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and processing research materials (Zed, 2008: 3). The results of the study explain that community empowerment in the economic sector through tourism development in Tarusan, the southern coastal district, has a positive impact on the economic growth and income of the local community. With the development of tourism, the community's economy also increases because of the large number of tourists or tourists visiting this area. Therefore, the most important thing in empowerment is the participation of the local community, the role of community leaders and local, district or city governments.

Abstract

Pelatihan listrik adalah salah satu program pelatihan di Balai Latihan Kerja Karawang yang diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah dalam peningkatan keterampilan khususnya di bidang listrik. Pada proses pelatihan, pasti selalu ditemukan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan apa saja yang menjadi faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelatihan listrik dalam meningkatkan kompetensi tenaga kerja di Balai Latihan Kerja Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor pendukung dalam pelatihan listrik yaitu tingginya minat dan motivasi peserta pelatihan, adanya dukungan dari lingkungan sekitar serta sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam pelatihan listrik seperti terdapat media atau alat pembelajaran yang rusak dan terdapat beberapa peserta pelatihan yang lambat dalam penguasaan materi.

Abstract

One of the government's efforts to empower the community during the Covid 19 pandemic is the penta helix collaboration in the digital village. The purpose of this research is to investigate the pentahelix collaboration model in empowering digital village communities in the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The theory used in this study is the theory of community empowerment, the theory of the era of digitalization of online marketing media, the theory of evaluative methodology in community empowerment and the penta helix theory as a supporter of community empowerment. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. In this study the instruments used were observation, interviews and documentation. The main reason for using this instrument is to collect data regarding the extent of the Penta Helix collaboration in empowering people in digital villages and draw conclusions about this by interpreting the data. The research population is all elements in Ibun District, Bandung Regency and the samples are two village heads, two heads of non-formal education institutions, five members of the community and two MSMEs managers who are currently in the process of developing digitalization. The results of the study show that there is synergy carried out by stakeholders such as the government, private sector, institutions and communities in the development of digital villages in the era of globalization. The conclusion of this study is that the penta helix model that is applied in the Ibun sub-district collaborates well, this can be seen in the development of the ability of village communities to carry out digital activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the stigma of Equality Education graduates from the employer's point of view and its impact on their decision to accept prospective workers from Equality Education graduates. Equality education is known as a flexible education system that is not limited by age, time, or learning methods. The flexibility of the learning system is considered by the community that equality education is a place to get a diploma with the easy way. On the other hand, in the world of work, competencies are needed that must be possessed by job applicants. One of these competencies is generated from the learning process in the scope of formal and non-formal education. Employers in deciding to accept a worker certainly have considerations, one of which is of course the stigma that is formed in society. This research method uses a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 100 employers (HRD/Personnel/Business Owners) in Tasikmalaya City. Collecting data using a questionnaire and deepened by interviews. Data analysis with descriptive approach and simple linear regression analysis using statistical software version 23.0 for windows. The results showed that the stigma of equality education graduates had a positive but not significant effect on job acceptance decisions.

Abstract

This study aims, firstly, to determine the process of implementing extracurricular activities in fostering student discipline at SMK Negeri 11 Bandung. The theory used in this study is the theory (Soegeng PP., 1995:23) in Tu'u (2004: 31), the theory of the 1995 National Discipline Crash Working Group Team (GDN 1996:29-30) in Tu'u (2004: 32), and theory (Maman R. 1999:168) in Tu'u (2004: 32). This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, with the research subject 5 students of class XI SMKN 11 Bandung. The instruments used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses technical analysis (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing). The results showed that there was a change in the level of discipline of students who took part in scout extracurricular activities. This is based on the results of homeroom interviews, student observations and a study of student record documentation on BK teachers at SMKN 11 Bandung. The conclusion of this study shows that the scout extracurricular has an impact on the level of student discipline. Keywords: Discipline, Scout Extracurricular.

Abstract

Kompetensi yang menjadi luaran pendidikan kesetaraan berbasis keagamaan yaitu kemampuan bahasa arab, namun semenjak adanya pandemi Covid 19, mengalami kesulitan mencapai nilai diatas 75 skor KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal). Sehingga, perlu mengintegrasikan metode pembelajaran antara role playing dengan teknik muhawaroh, bertujuan menemukenali pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, variatif, dan partisipatif. Pendekatan kuantitatif menerapkan pre-eksperimen design dengan bentuk the one shot case study, yaitu desain penelitian yang melibatkan satu kelas eksperimen, dilaksanakan tanpa kelas pembanding dan tanpa tes awal (pretest). Responden yang terlibat berjumlah 32 orang, dengan tahapan penelitian yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan hasil. Uji eksperimen telah menunjukan skor ketuntasan KKM kurang dari 75 berjumlah 3 orang (9,4%) yang belum tuntas, sedangkan di atas skor 75 berjumlah 29 orang (90,6%), persentase skor ketuntasan tersebut termasuk pada kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan uji statistik dengan tenik uji-t one sample test, nilai Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 0,05 atau nilai t hitung 7,238 t tabel 1,7, maka terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berbicara bahasa arab setelah diterapkannya metode pembelajaran role playing melalui teknik muhawaroh, dengan nilai rata-rata diatas 75. Simpulan penelitian ini, menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode yang variatif mampu meningkatkan kemampuan belajar berbicara bahasa arab peserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk dapat mengetahui bagaimana bentuk pembinaan keluarga dalam mewujudkan keluarga harmonis pada Pendidikan Pembentukan Bintara Polri Di SPN Polda Jabar. Adapun metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa program pembinaan keluarga Harmonis ini merupakan program yang diprogramkan Kepala Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia (Kapolri) yang didukung penuh oleh Lembaga Pendidikan dan Latihan (Lemdiklat) Polri dan dilaksanakan oleh lembaga Pendidikan dan Sekolah Polisi Negara (SPN) yang ada di seluruh Indonesia, serta kerja keras dari Gadik/ Gadikan, Pembina/ Instruktur dalam melakukan pembinaan yang dilakukan secara terprogram dalam segala aspek di setiap pembinaan yang nantinya mampu menciptakan keluarga harmonis bagi para Peserta Pendidikan Pembentukan Bintara Polri di SPN Polda Jabar.

Abstract

Adanya jumlah pengangguran dan kemiskinan di Indonesia yang menjadi perhatian pemerintah memiliki jumlah yang cukup besar. Beberapa upaya sudah dilakukan untuk mengurangi jumlah pengangguran dan kemiskinan, salah satunya melalui pendidikan yang memberikan keterampilan yaitu pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui kegiatan pelatihan guna membangun dan menumbuhkan sikap kewirausahaan kepada peserta. Masalah yang dikaji adalah pelaksanaan pelatihan kecakapan hidup, hasil dari pelatihan kecakapan hidup dalam membangun sikap kewirausahaan, kendala-kendala yang dihadapi dalam membangun sikap kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan pelaksanaan pelatihan kecakapan hidup, mendiskripsikan hasil dari pelatihan kecakapan hidup dalam membangun sikap kewirausahaan, dan mendeskripsikan kendala-kendala yang yang dihadapi dalam membangun sikap kewirausahaan. Begitupun dengan penelitian ini bertujuan (1) untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan program pelatihan keterampilan hantaran ibu-ibu dan remaja puteri supaya memiliki kegiatan lain selain mengurus rumahtangga (2) untuk mengetahui hasil program pelatihan keterampilan hantaran dapat merubah nilai ekonomi masyarakat menjadi lebih baik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Triangulasi dilakukan untuk menjelaskan keabsahan data dengan menggunakan sumber dan metode. Prosedur analisis data yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di LKP Henny`s di jalan Pasatren no 36 A. Rt 01/Rw  15. Kelurahan Cibabat, Kecamatan Cimahi Utara , Kota Cimahi dengan responden penelitian sebanyak 5 orang dengan pengelola berjumlah 4 orang dan alumni yang etlah mengikuti latihan hantaran 5 orang. Dan hasil dari penelitian yaitu (1) pelatihan hantaran ini telah mampu diikuti oleh masyarakat sekitar LKP yang mayoritas peserta didiknya yaitu ibu-ibu dan remaja putri yang tidak memiliki kegiatan lain selain mengurus pekerjaan rumah (2) para peserta didik lebih produktif dan telah mampu menghasilkan peluang usaha dengan mengaplikasikan dan menerapkan ilmu yang sudah didapat.
