Abstract

There are some major factors which influence second language learning. Motivation is an important factor that determines the success of learners of Arabic or English as second language. There are two types of motivation: Instrumental motivation and integrative motivation. The instrumental motivation is the desire to achieve the goals from the study of a language without having opportunity or chance to use the target language with members of the target community. In contrast, the integrative motivation refers to language learners that interact with members of the target language group, and refers to language learners who admire the country and the culture of target language. This essay will compare and contrast both types of motivation.  This essay, then, argues that instrumental motivation is more important than integrative motivation. This is because of some reasons. For example, meeting the requirements of school or university, getting good grades, passing the exam, looking for a job or looking for higher salary job based on foreign language skills, etc.

Abstract

The condition of the Islamic state (Islamic world) was bad after the fall of the Abbasid state. Then followed by three major countries. The Osmanli Devleti was the original center of Asia Minor on the northwestern tip of the Islamic world, and expanded its territory to many parts of three ancient continents: Europe, Asia and Africa, where it lived throughout Asia Minor and much of Southeast Europe, and North Africa. In the early fourteenth century, when the Osmanli Devleti was founded, this was only a small emirate within the confines of the Muslim world based on the idea of ​​an invasion of Christians. This small border country, which did not seem important at that time, gradually developed, with the annexation and annexation of the Byzantine and Balkan regions. The Osmanli Devleti has lived for more than two centuries. In this instinct, the Osmanli Devleti extended almost two hundred and thirty-one years, including conquest and cultural work carried out by every authority. In this study, researchers wanted to find the basic rules of the Osmanli Devleti.

Abstract

Learning plays an important role in maintaining the lives of a group of human beings (nations) in the midst of increasingly fierce competition among other nations that advance ahead of learning. From here learning is a process so that humans can make life more alive that has a better direction and can be useful for other humans, so that human life can survive as humans who are educated, moral and civilized. But many are found in the learning process that occurs without regard to the psychological and sociological conditions of students which will actually have a negative impact and will result in mental and soul disturbed and damage the social order. This shows that "learning" or "knowing language" does not always, even often, do not involve "teaching". What must exist in a state of language learning like this is (1) the need to learn / obtain a communication system (language), and (2) there are examples or "models" of communication. Therefore, in a language learning there must be a communicative learning method that can shape abilities both internally and externally, which not only improve in terms of cognitive but also in terms of affective, psychomotor and can affect the environment with positive values and constructive so that the results of the learning process can be perfect and reliable.

Abstract

Nahwu is very Important to Understand the Arabic text. However, most learning Nahwu less applicable especially for beginners. The application of ”Inquiry-Discovery” learning method, the Nahwu at Students Halaqah Wustho Ngalah Islamic Boarding School. This study purposes to know the significance of differences students understanding level on the Nahwu before and after the ushing the “Inquiry-Discovery” learning method at grade Nahwu at Students Halaqah Wustho Ngalah Islamic Boarding School. Being the method used for data collection in this study is Testing, Observation, interview,test and using the formula T-test while the Test formula by using SPSS.16 applied to determine whether there is influence of the using “Inquiry-Discovery” learning method to improve understanding Nahwu. The result showed there are the effectiveness of using “Inquiry-Discovery” learning method to improve the eleventh graders understanding on the Nahwu at Students Halaqah Wustho Ngalah Islamic Boarding School it can be seen from the test T over T-table values (4,683> 2,120) wich means are Ho refused and Ha accepted.

Abstract

In a learning process, teacher should be knowing and understanding abaout teaching and learning media, so the purpose of teaching will be successfully effectively such as in choosing media as learning tools. Mastery of vocabulary with picture media as learning tools can make students easy to communicate, well, active, effective and can memorize studying fastly especially in teaching memorize vocabulary. The method of this rsearch is quantitative descriptive with percentage counting formula. The instrument used in data collection are picture about profesion and the result of the test from researcher. The result of this research are 1) applying picture media can improving student skill in memorize vocabulary Arabic for student in MI Darut Taqwa Sengonagung Purwosari Pasuruan 2) it is based on improving mark from pre-test to post-test especially in memorize Arabic vocabulary between teaching vocabulary with picture media or without picture media for MI Darut Taqwa Sengonagung Purwosari Pasuruan.

Abstract

Arabic language learning, especially in translating many experiencing problems, then that becomes the problem formulation of this thesis is: What are the problems of translating Arabic into Indonesian language for students of classes V MI. Darut Taqwa Sengonagung? What efforts do students and teachers in addressing the problems of translating Arabic into Indonesian for students MI. Darut Taqwa Sengonagung? This type of research that I use in this paper is a field research (field research), which the authors plunge directly into the environment under study is Darut Taqwa Islamic Elementary School Sengonagung Purwosari Pasuruan. Efforts will be undertaken Arabic teacher in overcoming these difficulties, among others: a) Advise students to have Arabic dictionary. b) Advise to read books in Arabic and translating practice. c) Repeating lessons students are not yet understood or explained back and extending the exercise to translate. d) Provide better teaching complex sentences in position. While the efforts of the student in overcoming the problems of translation, namely: a) Attempt to have the Arabic-Indonesian dictionary also memorize Arabic vocabulary. b) Trying to master grammar theoretically and practically. c) Ask the teacher if experiencing difficulty in learning Arabic then attempted his own. d) Reading a book in Arabic is easy and translating practice.

Abstract

Audio visual Media in learning Arabic, is one of the essential components that have the same position with the other components. The accuracy of teachers in choosing and using media learning very beneficial against the effectiveness of delivered subject matter to students and influence on student achievement. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the audio visual media in learning Arabic in grades VII middle school An-Nurul Jadid Pandaan Pasuruan and to know the factors that become advocates and a barrier against the application of audio visual media in learning Arabic in grades VII middle school An-Nurul Jadid Pandaan Pasuruan. Research results exposed that the influence of audio visual media in learning Arabic in grades VII middle school An-Nurul Jadid Pandaan Pasuruan felt quite help students to achieve the indicators of the Arabic language. Factors restricting the application of audio visual in Arabic language learning in Class VII middle school An-Nurul Jadid Pandaan Pasuruan is a condition of financial schools haven't allowed against the procurement of means of learning in the form of audio-visual media. While supporting the application of audio visual factors in learning Arabic is the professionalism of teachers, the student's enthusiasm toward learning the use of audio visual media.

Abstract

Arabic has officially become the sixth world language with English, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese, with the recognition of the United Nations and many international organizations that they have realized the role of the Arabic language in the dissemination and preservation of human civilization. It is in this context that there has been a great deal of interest in the dissemination of Arabic to non-speakers around the world. And opened a number of scientific institutions and institutes play an important role in this area, and specialists in the development of curricula and teaching materials and methods of teaching Arabic to non-children. Abstract

Engineering is an attempt to apply certain teaching methods in the classroom. In other words, technique is a specific activity that is implemented in the classroom in accordance with the method and approach chosen. Thus the approach is axiomatic, methods are procedural and techniques are operational-implementative.The technique which in Arabic is ushlub is the same as strategy (this last term is used in this paper). Strategic is implementational, meaning what actually happens in the classroom to achieve learning objectives. Therefore this active Arabic learning strategy is grouped into four categories, namely listening learning strategies, speaking, writing, and grammar.

Abstract

Arabic area is an Arabic language environment which is a place where one interacts with others through the use of Arabic as a communication tool. The environment is the first facility for someone to obtain any language both mother tongue and second language. Arabic as a second (foreign) language can be obtained through the Arabic environment or known as bi'ah ‘arabiyah. This bi'ah is very important especially in realizing speaking skills in daily communication. This can be obtained formally or informally at certain levels of education. If these two environments do not exist then obtaining language skills will be difficult to achieve. Moreover, creating it in a multicultural University environment is not impossible, but a strong strategy and concern are needed to create the bi'ah ‘arabiyyah.
