Abstract

The aims of this study was to develop teaching Materials of Natural Science based on integration-interconnection related on Al-Quran in MTsN Jambi Out City with the validity and hight efektivity. This Research is a study R & D with developed specimen by Ahsyar. Employing of this specimen is adapted by according the needs of this study. and according the needs of this study. and according by object and product characteristics to be developed. This developed specimen invoive by 7 steps. Thats are / there are : 1. Needs analysis and student characteristics. 2. Objective formulation. 3. Formulate the material points. 4. Preparation of evaluation instrumens. 5. Preparation of the script / prototype. 6. Perform expert validation. 7. Test and revise. The research instrument of quality questionnaire and perception of the likert created in the form of validation and specialist of integration-interconnection and Natural and Science teacher response is have a very reasonable criteria. Recentage of ideality by specialist obtain the valve with the average of 87,46% and ideality precentage according to the Natural Science is 95%. Students perception to teaching material on range trial of tained by average percentase of 96% learning effectiveness criteria is 75% of 100% amount of students and effectiveness applied of Natural Science learning based on student cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran matematika adalah kebanyakan guru menerapkan metode ekspositori dalam pembelajaran matematika. Sehingga menyebabkan guru lebih berperan aktif dibandingkan siswa itu sendiri dan menimbulkan kejenuhan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, harus dilakukan variasi dalam metode mengajar yaitu salah satunya dengan mengembangkan model pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif sebagai media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan menambah motivasi siswa untuk belajar. Komputer dapat menjadi solusi dalam menghasilkan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif yang membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif pada materi statistika dengan menggunakan program Macromedia Flash 8 serta mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap manfaat penggunaannya dengan menyebarkan angket terbuka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Yadika Kota Jambi. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan angket terbuka kepada siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Yadika Kota Jambi. Setelah angket dikembalikan, data kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa lebih termotivasi dan lebih mudah memahami materi matematika dengan menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif. Selain itu, bahan ajar yang bersifat interaktif ini dapat memberikan umpan balik siswa terhadap materi yang ditampilkan. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar guru menggunakan bahan ajar berbasis multimedia interaktif pada saat menyampaikan materi statistika dan materi lainnya karena dapat membuat siswa lebih termotivasi dalam belajar matematika dan lebih mudah memahami materi pelajaran yang ditampilkan.

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes in Integrated Science subjects are due to several things such as learning activities that are still teacher-oriented so that students are less actively involved in the learning process. This study aims to see the effect of the Discovery Learning model using simple teaching aids on student learning outcomes in Merangin 10 State Junior High School. This type of research is Quasy Experiment with research design Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population used in this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 10 Merangin. The research sample was taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used for learning outcomes is an objective test that has previously been tested. Based on the results of research and data processing t-test analysis at the 5% significance level, it was obtained t count> t table, namely 5.27> 2.06, meaning H_1 was accepted. Based on the Effect size test, the d_s was obtained at 1.98. These results indicate that the learning model of Discovery Learning with the help of simple teaching aids has a major influence on student learning outcomes in Integrated Science subjects at Merangin 10 State Junior High School.

Abstract

This research was conducted to contruct the critical thinking test instrument for the students to facilitate the learning procces especially on the subject of physic. This study aims to get a picture of the characteristic of critical skills test thinking; quality of the test instrument is critical thinking; and the state of critical studenst thinking regarding temperature and heat matter. This research is a mixed method research strategy that involves the processe of collecting and analyzing data in one lesson.Sheet of essay validation, the observed aspects are material,construction and language. a collection methods used are test technique. Data analyst techniques used are quantitative descriptive analyst, qualitative descriptive analyst and descriptive stastistics analyst. The results of the study showed that (1) Instrument characteristic of students critical thinking skill test is made by ennis indicator tranlation (1966) namely basic clarification; basic in making desicions and support; inferece; Basic Clarification; strategy and tactic.The test instrumentMade is an essay with temperature and heat material.essay test is one form of written test. The composition consist of items of question items trough the description of words that reflect students thinking ability (2) the quality of the thinking skills test instrument is borrowed from the aspect of validity, distingualisting power, the level of ease and reability of the data analiyst show the good category.(3) stateofthe students thinking test skills identified critical thinking test obtained from the results of data analyst are categorized being with score of 69,25.

Abstract

This study discusses the learning cycle of learning cycles in integrated Natural Sciences subjects towards student learning activities at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental design with a posttest only control design, while the data is carried out using a questionnaire. This study found that the use of the cycle learning model had a significant effect on student learning activities at SMP Negeri 22 Jambi City. From the data analysis using the "t" test, it is obtained –table≤ tcount ≤ + ttable or -1.999 ≤ 3.76≤ +1.999 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the calculation of the effect size, it is obtained d = 0.9 with a proportion of 82%. This shows that the learning cycle learning model has a significant effect on student learning activities compared to conventional learning models. Teachers can use the learning cycle learning model in learning activities, especially in Natural Science subjects so that students can actively participate in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning result of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al JauharenTanjung Johor Jambi by using cooperative script method in integrated science learning.This research is PTK (Classroom Action Research),using cooperative script method.Data collection conducted with observation sheet and test, which is conducted in the end of each cycle. The subjects of this research are students of class VII A Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al JauharenTanjung Johor Jambi numbered 30 people.In the application of this cooperative script method, gained an improvement in student learning result in each cycle. Cycle I average score of students is 72.3 with 66.67% student’s completion index. Cycle II average score of students is 77,37 with 80% student’s completion index.Improvement of cooperative script application succeed can be seen from the gain index, which cycle I increase 0.6 (medium), cycle II 0.7 (high). From the results of this research it’s recommended that cooperative script method can be applied by teachers in science learning in school, to improve learning result.
