Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural dapat dikatakan sebagai respon terhadap fenomena budaya, sosial, dan konflik etnis yang muncul di tengah masyarakat yang berlandaskan multikultural. Multikulturalisme merupakan sebuah pemahaman yang menerima adanya masyarakat majemuk sehingga menghindari konflik horizontal yang ada dalam masyarakat. Konteks pendidikan multikultural hanya menanamkan tata tertib kehidupan seperti menghormati, berkasih sayang, tulus, serta bertoleran terhadap keanekaragaman budaya yang hidup ditengah masyarakat plural. Tujuan utama dari pendidikan multikultural ialah memproduksi generasi-generasi umat yang memiliki ilmu, keterampilan serta mampu menerapkan kehidupan bersama dalam masyarakat sebagai ummat yang terbaik/khoiru ummah

Abstract

This aims of this research is to reveal whether a scientific approach in teaching and learning of art and culture can improve achievement of IV grade students at MI Salafiyah Syafi'iyah II Klinterejo Sooko Mojokerto. Data collection used in this research is some documents of students in the form of activities before and after praticum of _kolase_ that used a scientific approach consisting of learning activity material. Data sources of this research are from educators, observations that have been made during the activity with various media in the collage. The method of data analysis in this research is the quantitative data analysis of experimental research. Based on the results of data analysis known that there is a very significant difference between the value of learning arts and crafts before getting a scientific approach and after a scientific approach. The scientific approach can improve students' achievement and can help students who have low ability, then there is a positive and significant influence between the scientific approach to the learning of arts and culture for IV grade students at MI Salafiyah Syaf'iyah II craft Klinterejo Sooko Mojokerto. Based on the results of this research, it is suggested for the teacher to use scientific approach because it can be used as a way to help students achievement in learning because the scientific approach includes observing, asking, reasoning, trying, and communicating so that students can improve their intellectual abilities, specifically the ability of high level thinking and obtain high learning outcomes.

Abstract

Religious education is education that gived knowledge and forms attitude, personality and in practicing religious teaching conducted in their ife. Theta three religious adhered by Mendowo people , they are Islam, Hindu, and christian. The eople conducted their religious activities in harmony though they adhere different religion. The research result shows that such religious education in Mendowo village as routinely reitation in mosque, dzikir, weekely reitation door to door, giving place for learning alqu'an in each village. It is for Islam. For Hindu, there are legenan, pasraman, and pacalang. Cristian has sunday school in church, door to door worship done in Thrusday which is called spiritial worshipers. The harmony between the ummah can proved by together in worship on the village celebration, helping each other in the moment of holiday each religion, and community self-help on the house building, street, grave, and village.

Abstract

The integration of multicultural values ​​is a process to acquire the knowledge, the development of attitudes and behavior in order to live mutual respect, tolerance, full of peace, mutual aid, and non-violence. Islamic religious education is education that is focused more on the improvement of mental attitude manifested in deeds, both for the purposes of self and others, both theoretical and practical. This study three research focus, firstly any form of multicultural values ​​in the learning of Islamic religious education at SDN 1 Balun Turi Lamongan ?, Second, How is the implementation of multicultural values ​​in the learning of Islamic religious education ?, Third, How to enabling and inhibiting factors integration of value - the value of multicultural learning PAI at SDN 1 balun Turi Lamongan ?. The research is a qualitative descriptive approach. Collecting data through interviews, observation and documentation. The method is the data analysis data reduction, presentation of data, conclusion drawing / verification. The results of this study indicate that 1) Form of multicultural values ​​which are applied in the process of integration in which PAI learning Inclusive Value (Open), Human Values ​​(Humanist), the value of tolerance, the value of Please Help, the value of Justice (Democratic) and nuse values ​​Equality and Fraternity (brotherhood), 2) the implementation of the integration of multicultural values ​​in PAI learning done in the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning. 3) The supporting factors that exist as a unified educational curriculum, textbooks laden multicultural content and the enabling environment as well as religious. While the inhibiting factor is the lack of media diversity in the school environment, multicultural load content in the RPP is still less so is dominated environmental factors.

Abstract

Thailand has two different parts of the region ranging from ethnics, culture, national and religion. However, due to religious differences, the trade route, which was a more profitable trading route in Southern Thailand, inhabited by Malay Patani, made the Siamese Kingdom want the area. The desires of the Siamese Kingdom were successful. So Patani Malay became part of the Thai Kingdom and its government system followed the policies adopted by the Thais, including in terms of Islamic education in Patani. Since then, conflicts began to occur as the policies adopted by the Thais were considered unsuitable for the Patani Malay in many various ways including forming an Islamic organization. As a result, the Patani could become independent without being under Thai auspices. However, these efforts and strategies have also not been successful, but only to negotiate so that conflicts can continue to be overcome both through cooperation with other Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Europe countries.

Abstract

Diversity becomes a necessity in the continuity of human life both from a group to a nation. However, lack of understanding among difference people can be an obstacle that will lead to conflict in public life. In contrast, diversity can become benefits factor in the life of society. And Religion is part of diversity that can become source of conflict between people. Islam as the religion of rahmatan lil'alamin (blessing for the whole universe), from the beginning despite having affirmed that the true religion is Islam, but in principle and social life, Islam recognizes religious entities, other religions and allow their followers to perform and practice their own worship. This paper explains how Islam gives a great respect for religious diversity and teaches the follower to be tolerant to other religion. In this paper, also explained how Al-Qur’an as main source of teaching in Islam gives the description of tolerance in religious diversity and it is supported by the argument of some of scholar of Islam. This paper reminds us that religious appreciation and practice does not stop at the stage of “I” exclusiveness claims that lead to a personal relationship with God, nor at “YOU” inclusiveness stage that mix the teaching all of religion but at the openness of “WE”, where religious appreciation of human values is emphasized (humanist and tolerance) without mix the religious sacredness .

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the unsupervised exam program through the character education of students at the Athirah Bone Islamic High School. In this study using descriptive qualitative methods, the subject of the principal's research, curriculum, class teachers, school employees and Athirah Bone Islamic High School students. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation and objectivity. The results showed the effectiveness of the unsupervised exam on character education based on the hadith of Islamic Athirah Bone high school students. Through exams without supervision students have the character of Honesty, discipline, responsibility, independence, and personality.

Abstract

The study aims to explore the paradigm of Islamic education, democratic education to face the globalization challenges in Indonesia. This research method was a qualitative approach with type of literature study. Paradigmatically, democratic education is the process to develop all human potentials that values of plurarity and heterogeneity as a consequence of cultural, ethnic, ethnic, and religious diversity. The emphasized main values in democratic education are equality and tolerance. Whereas in Islamic education, the values of transcendence taught in the curriculum must be practiced in daily life in order to achieve the pious charity conference. The challenges of globalization that have penetrated into the world of education have become a driving force for inclusive and sustainable educational innovation.This study is expected to provide contributions for academician, education practical, and teacher in Indonesia as an actualization of Islamic education and democratic education to confront globalization challenges in Indonesia.

Abstract

In everyday life, we often encounter children with diverse characters. There are children who are easy to foster and some who are difficult to foster, some are keen to learn and some are very lazy to learn, some of them learn to progress and some of them learn just to avoid punishment. Actually the bad qualities that arise in the children above are not born and their nature. These traits arise due to the lack of early warnings from parents and educators. So it is a big mistake if we underestimate the small mistakes made by children. In fact, there are no educators who want punishment to be used in education unless forced to. Gifts or compliments are far more important than punishment. In the world of education, this method is called the reward and punishment methods. With this method, it is hoped that students can be motivated to do progressive deeds. This study aims to describe and analyze teacher perceptions about reward and punishment and its implementation in learning in MAN 2 Medan Model.

Abstract

This research goals to gain the design for a learning program to guide students in pondok pesantren on achieving financial literacy throughout fiqh mu’āmalāt learning that is based on kitab kuning. We used R&D approach 4D model that reduced into three stages: define, design, and develop. It was gained a syllabus that completed by lesson plan, student worksheets, nor assessment instrument as well, that validated by experts and practitioners and reliability counted based on test.
