Abstract

Rumah sakit UNS merupakan rumah sakit pendidikan milik UNS yang juga memberikan pelayanan untuk pasien BPJS. Belum ada penelitian terkait kepuasan pasien BPJS rawat jalan terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah sakit tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui profil tingkat kepuasan dan prioritas perbaikan yang perlu dilakukan di instalasi farmasi rumah sakit UNS terhadap pelayanan kefarmasian pada pasien BPJS rawat jalan. Penelitian ini termasuk non-eksperimental bersifat deskriptif menggunakan kuesioner. Responden dipilih dengan teknik convenience sampling. Untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pasien dan evaluasi pelayanan digunakan metode SERVQUAL. Sedangkan, untuk mengetahui prioritas perbaikan dilakukan analisis dengan Customer Window Quadrant. Hasil penelitian menunjukan tingkat kepuasan pada dimensi tangible, reliability, assurance, responsiveness, dan empati berturut-turut sebesar  94,24%, 94,80%, 91,11%, 95,70%, dan 93,96%. Sedangkan, prioritas utama yang perlu dilakukan IFRS UNS yaitu kecepatan pelayanan kefarmasian, dan pemberian informasi mengenai obat secara lebih mendetail.

Abstract

Amilum pro tablet (Amprotab) sebagai bahan penghancur memiliki kekuatan pada aksi kapiler yang akan menarik cairan ke dalam tablet dan diharapkan dapat mempercepat waktu hancur tablet sehingga mempermudah ibuprofen untuk melarut. Kecepatan hancurnya tablet ditentukan oleh posisi bahan penghancur. Secara intragranular tablet akan dipecah menjadi partikel penyusun. Sedangkan secara ekstragranular tablet akan dipecah menjadi granul. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode penambahan bahan penghancur secara intragranular, ekstragranular dan kombinasinya terhadap sifat fisik dan profil disolusi tablet ibuprofen. Pembuatan tablet ibuprofen dilakukan dengan metode granulasi basah. Tablet formula 1 dibuat secara intragranular, formula 2 kombinasi intragranular-ekstragranular dengan perbandingan 50:50 dan formula 3 secara ekstragranular. Granul kering yang homogen kemudian diuji sifat fisik granul meliputi : waktu alir dan sudut diam. Kemudian dicetak dengan diberi tekanan kompresi yang sama. Evaluasi tablet meliputi keseragaman bobot, kekerasan, kerapuhan, waktu hancur, penetapan kadar dan disolusi. Hasil yang diperoleh dibandingkan dengan literatur standard dan dianalisis secara statistik. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa penambahan amprotab sebagai bahan penghancur secara intragranular dan ekstragranular dengan perbandingan konsentrasi yang berbeda mempengaruhi sifat fisik pada keseragaman bobot, kekerasan, kerapuhan dan waktu hancur serta profil disolusi tablet ibuprofen, tetapi tidak berpengaruh pada kadar ibuprofen yang terkandung dalam tablet. Formula tablet yang baik yaitu F2 karena menghasilkan tablet yang memenuhi semua syarat uji sifat fisik tablet dan profil disolusi tablet ibuprofen.

Abstract

SWOT analysis is first step for formulating the strategic, to analyze the external and internal environmental factors. The purpose of this research is to analyze the external and internal environmental factors which influence pharmacy department, formulating the strategic management of the pharmacy department that can increase good works Pharmacy Department of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta .The method for the research is realized by collecting secondary data related to drugs management in pharmacy department, and then collect the primary data by conducting direct observation in the form of interview with Chief Pharmacy Department and distribute questionnaires to the doctor, officials, and patients. To determine the management of drug using the drug management indicators and to determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats using SWOT analysis. The result showed that the internal environmental factor such as drug management in selection phase, selected drugs by DOEN is 6%. Procurement phase, the percentage of capital available along with all the used fund can only absorbs the average of 95,6% of the real total, percentage according to between planning with the fact to inappropriate drug 105,01%, and the average availability of medicine of 35 days. On distribution phase, the expired or damaged medicine out of the supported 0%. Use phase, showed by the waiting time for outpatient uncompounding prescription is 30,47 minutes and compounding prescription is 60,01 minutes. External environmental factors in pharmacy department such as opportunity: human resources in pharmacy department need to practical training, a good service in pharmacy department, drugs is complete; threats focused on existing hospitals in Surakarta, good services for customers quality, long waiting time for drug in pharmacy department. Pharmacy Department of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta was on the first quadrant. The strategy which can be used by Pharmacy Department of RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta in this condition is to support the aggressive growing policy (growth oriented strategy).

Abstract

Study of bioactive mesocarp on palm fruits has been conducted previously. Therefore, this research aims to make a preparation of antioxidant skin lotion palm fruit mesocarp (Borrasus flabellifer) and to evaluate the effects of antioxidants on skin preparation lotion palm fruit (Borrasus flabellifer) by In-situ.This study was an experimental study by making a preparation of skin lotion on the stability of the corresponding and testing the antioxidant treatment with a sample of 30 rats male wistar strain. The antioxidant test was divided into 5 groups randomly: negative control (-), positive control (compound sunscreen brands parasol SPF 33), group 1 (lotio extract palm fruit mesocarp with a concentration of 0.2%), group 2 (lotio palm fruit mesocarp extract with concentration of 0.4%) and group 3 (lotio palm fruit mesocarp extract with concentration 0.8%).The results of in-situ states showed 0.8% extract of palm fruit mesocarp exhibited the least erythema score which was an average of 1.7. It was comparable to positive control which exhibited similar erythema score.

Abstract

Tanaman pisang kepok kuning (Musa paradisiaca Linn.) dipercaya memiliki aktivitas antibakteri karena mengandung senyawa saponin, flavonoid dan alkaloid. Ekstrak pelepah dan bonggol pisang kepok kuning terbukti mampu menghambat pertumbuhan S. aureus dan E. coli. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat potensi antibakteri ekstrak dan getah pelepah serta bonggol pisang kepok kuning terhadap bakteri Pseudomonas aeruginosa dan Klebsiella pneumoniae. Sampel ekstrak dibuat dengan metode ekstraksi maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96% dan sampel getah dibuat dengan proses pemarutan dan penyaringan, dilanjutkan dengan uji aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode difusi agar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Daya aktivitas antibakteri didapatkan dengan mengukur diameter zona hambat yang terbentuk dengan 6 variasi konsentrasi yaitu 200 mg/mL, 250 mg/mL, 300 mg/mL, 350 mg/mL, 400 mg/mL dan 450 mg/mL. Kontrol positif menggunakan amoxicillin 25 µg/disk dan kontrol negatif menggunakan aquadest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak dan getah pelepah serta bonggol pisang kepok kuning memiliki aktivitas antibakteri. Diameter daya hambat paling besar terhadap Pseudomonas aeruginosa dihasilkan oleh ekstrak bonggol dengan kategori kuat (10,57 mm ± 0,35) sedangkan pada Klebsiella pneumoniae dihasilkan oleh ekstrak pelepah dengan kategori sedang (8,62 mm ± 0,45).

Abstract

Creams and ointments are topical dosage forms used in the manufacture of drugs. Topical anti-inflammatory drug is a solution to problems of gastrointestinal side effects caused by taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug orally. The compound 2,5-bis (4-nitrobenzilidine) cyclopentanone is an analog of curcumin which has better anti-inflammatory activity than curcumin. This study aimed to determine the antiinflammatory effect of cream and ointment from 2,5-bis (4-nitrobenzilidine) cyclopentanoneagainst edema in mice induced by formalin. This research were experimental randomized complete design using a single factor. Twenty mice were divided into 4 groups: group I were given a cream base, the group II were given ointment base, group III were given cream compound 0.25% and group IV were given ointment compound 0.25%. The data were processed into AUC values and the percentage of anti-inflammatory effectwere calculated. Results were analyzed using ANOVA and T-test statistics. The results showed that between the dosage form had statistically difference of anti-inflammatory effect (p<0.05). The ointmentshowed a greater value of antiinflammatory activity rather than cream.

Abstract

Penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak tepat akan berdampak terhadap terjadinya resistansi. Oleh karena itu, studi penggunaan antibiotik perlu dilakukan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan, termasuk rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran penggunaan antibiotik di bangsal penyakit dalam Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan dengan menggunakan metode Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC)/Defined Daily Dose (DDD). ATC/DDD adalah metode perhitungan penggunaan antibiotik secara kuantitatif yang direkomendasikan oleh World Health Organization (WHO). Pengambilan data dilakukan secara retrospektif menggunakan sumber data excel berupa rekapitulasi rekam medik. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien rawat inap dewasa di bangsal penyakit dalam sepanjang tahun 2017. Sejumlah 973 data dari keseluruhan populasi memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan pada karakteristik pasien, profil antibiotik dan perhitungan kuantitatif dengan metode ATC/DDD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa golongan antibiotik yang paling banyak digunakan adalah golongan sefalosporin sebesar 51,41%, sedangkan jenis antibiotik yang paling banyak diresepkan yaitu ceftriaxone dengan jumlah sebesar 25,86%. DDD/100 patient-days tertingi adalah ceftriaxone dengan nilai 27,79 DDD/100 patient-days. Perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan dengan menggunakan metode Gyssens untuk mengetahui rasionalitas penggunaan antibiotik.

Abstract

Simvastatin were given in diabetes mellitus patient to reduce the risk of cardiovascular event.  Many studies have shown the effectiveness of statins in improving lipid profile. However, effects of statins on glucose metabolism are still unclear. The study aimed to investigate effect of simvastatin on increasing fasting plasma glucose.This retrospective cohort study using medical records included adult diabetes mellitus patient aged 18-60 years old that inpatient in 2014. We studied profil in fasting plasma glucose (FPG) in this population between before and after simvastatin therapy. Data were limited to patients who had 4 FPG measurements, 2 measurement before and 2 measurement at least a month after medication. Diagnosis of diabetes had to be present before the first FPG measurement.Coefficients kontingency analysis evaluated correlation between simvastatin and increasing of fasting plasma glucose.In this study, 15 patients were eligible. Before simvastatin therapy, 8 patients had normal level of FPG and 7 patients had abnormal level but it were decrease. After a month of simvastatin therapy, level of FPG had increased became abnormal in all patient.  Statin use is associated with a rise of FPG in patients with diabetes (p < 0.0001).

Abstract

Bulbs of garlic has been known to contain a compound that is potentially as alternative medicine for burns. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the water extract and ethanolic extract of garlic bulbs on second degree burn healing in mice. The test was conducted on 12 male mices divided using a completely randomized design (CRD) into 4 treatment groups consisting of P-1 without any treatment, P-2 by administering Bioplacenton®, P-3 with ethanolic extract and P-4 with watery extract. Lab studies have shown the average percentages of recovery for 18 days for P-2, P-3 and P-4, were 48%, 60% and 63% respectively. One way ANOVA test results obtained p value = 0.011 (p <0.05), it means there were differences in the healing duration of burns in four treatment groups. LSD test results showed that the group which had significant relationship were P-1 and P-4 wherein the Mean Difference was 0.90000. Thus it can be concluded that the group P-4 which is a water extract group was the most effective for the second degree burns healing.

Abstract

Masker gel peel-off merupakan salah satu bentuk sediaan kosmetika perawatan, yang bertujuan untuk mengangkat kotoran yang menempel di kulit wajah. Komposisi basis dalam formulasi masker gel peel-off sangat menentukan respon sifat fisik dan stabilitas sediaan berupa pH, daya sebar, waktu kering dan viskositas. Permasalahan yang sering dialami dalam formulasi masker gel peel- off yaitu waktu kering dan viskositas yang tidak memenuhi standar. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk optimasi formula dalam sediaan masker gel peel-off nanopartikel ekstrak labu kuning, untuk mendapatkan formula optimal basis PVA, propilenglikol dan karbomer yang memiliki stabilitas fisik sesuai persyaratan. Design expert digunakan sebagai software untuk menentukan formula optimal menggunakan metode D-optimal, dengan respon sifat fisik pH, daya sebar, waktu kering, viskositas dan sentrifugasi. Formula optimal yang digunakan adalah formula dengan nilai desirability mendekat 1. Ekstrak daging labu kuning dibuat dalam ukuran nanopartikel dengan rasio kitosan: Na TPP: Ekstrak (5:1:1) kemudian dilakukan pengukuran transmittan dan ukuran partikel (PSA). Hasil optimasi nanopartikel didapatkan ukuran partikel ekstrak 256,4 nm dengan nilai transmittan 99,88%. Optimasi formula diperoleh komposisi formula optimal PVA (3,951 g), karbomer (0,576 g) dan propilenglikol (5,473 g) memberikan respon sifat fisik berupa pH (5,99), daya sebar (5 cm), waktu kering (6,10 menit) dan viskositas (9252 cps). Uji T menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara hasil optimasi berdasarkan software design expert dengan uji konfirmasi formula optimal (p 0,388> 0,5).
