Abstract

One of the problems in the learning process for elementary school children is the lack of focus and concentration in learning because teachers often use conventional models and do not interactive. The failure to achieve mastery of learning is caused by students' weak understanding of the material being taught, and the lack of teacher creativity in developing learning models so that the learning outcomes obtained are less than optimal. The researcher aims to analyse the effect between the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model and learning motivation of elementary students on learning outcomes in PPKn subjects. In this study the quantitative experimental method was used with the pretest and posttest experimental designs used. The sample used was 30 students. Data collection techniques is using a pretest-posttest and giving questionnaires to students. The data analysis technique uses a two-way analysis of variance to test the hypothesis. However, a requirement test was carried out, which included a normality test and a homogeneity test. Based on the analysis of the results, there is a relationship between applying the PjBL learning model and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Civics subjects in elementary schools. It was concluded that applying the PjBL learning model and learning motivation could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Departing from the negative impacts caused by digital media, the term digital parenting emerged as an effort to minimize its negative impacts. The reason for carrying out this research is because of the many facts that many have not implemented digital parenting. The purpose of this study is to analyses whether there is an effect of digital parenting on behaviour. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a simple linear regression data analysis technique. The participant of this involving parents totaling (n=75) and being respondents. The data collection method is using Google form questionnaire which was distributed through the WhatsApp group as an intermediary for the homeroom teacher. The technique for data analysis that is used is regression line analysis. There are three results from this study: first, the influence of digital parenting on behaviour, digital parenting variable has a contribution effect on student behaviour variables. Second, most of the digital parenting patterns have been implemented, starting from supervision, restrictions, giving responses, and positive evaluations of parents on digital devices. Third, Student behaviour shows positive impact after digital parenting is implemented. So it can be concluded that it turns out that digital parenting influences student behaviour.

Abstract

Each culture has its own mathematics, and mathematics is born of culture. And ethnomathematics exists as a link between mathematics and culture. This study aims to analyze the ethnomathematics contained in the soccer game of Aceh's coastal children. This type of exploratory research uses an ethnographic approach. The subjects in this study were Acehnese coastal children aged five to twelve years who were playing ball in the afternoon, totaling 18 people. The selection of the subject of the study was carried out using the incidental sampling technique. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. There are four forms of data analysis in this study such as domain, taxonomic, component, and cultural themes. The results of this study show that children, while playing, have used knowledge in mathematics, such as the concepts of line alignment, addition and difference, comparison, the theory of opportunity, numbers and rounding, and measurement, without realizing it. In addition, the mathematical concepts used in football games show that Acehnese coastal children have their own ethnomathematics, as evidenced by their being able to do mathematical modeling, understand the concept of harmony, and argue. So that ethnomathematics in the soccer game of Aceh coastal children is shown in the form of mathematical behavior that reflects children's understanding of problems and how to solve them using mathematics.

This research used a survey research method to obtain the data from one of the public schools. Questionnaire consisting of quantitative and qualitative data was used and disseminated via Google Forms to all the parents in one primary state school. This study is involving 132 parents. The data were then analyzed by using descriptive analysis. As a result, the study showed that the parents who were primarily categorized as economically disadvantaged status were involved in their children's learning in various ways, such as explaining, completing, and checking their child's worksheets or assignments. This study also found indication that low-income parents faced difficulties in assisting their children during online learning, making most parents resistant to online learning. Abstract

Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is one of Indonesia's newest National Assessment instruments for students' literacy and numeracy competencies. In policy implementation, the teacher is the spearhead in preparing students for AKM. This study aims to analyze the teacher's perspective in dealing with AKM. This phenomenon is studied through phenomenological-type qualitative research. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews. The participants in this study were fifth-grade elementary school teachers. A total of 11 participants were recruited voluntarily. Qualitative data analysis was carried out using the Bodgan and Biklen model, with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The study results show that teachers' confusion in preparing for MCA is caused by; first, teachers' understanding of AKM still needs to be improved and seems partial. Second, the ability of students to show unpreparedness in terms of skills in working on computer-based problems. Third, the condition of facilities and infrastructure in schools needs to be improved. In preparing for the implementation of AKM, teachers are faced with problems originating from aspects of teachers, students and facilities and infrastructure.

This research is research and development with the Borg & Gall model. Data collection was carried out through interviews, scales, and questionnaires. Data analysis used the N Gain test, Independent Sample t-Test, Paired Sample t Test, and the MANOVA test. The results showed that digital picture storybooks were feasible to use based on the results of the validation of material experts and the results of validation of media experts and practical use based on the results of the teacher's response questionnaire and the results of student responses. The results of the N Gain test showed an increase in self-efficacy and student learning interest in the experimental group, which was higher than the control class.
