Abstract

This research aims at observing how advertisement define hegemonic masculinity and identifying the models of hegemonic masculinity in Indonesia. This research takes and focuses on Gudang Garam’s 2006–2010-released advertisements for the data. This research applies the analytical method of Fairclough's three-dimension of critical discourse analysis. First, the analysis is conducted by describing the advertisements. Then, the interpretation of the contexts of both the primary and secondary data. Finally, the explanation of the socio-cultural dimension. The results of this research shows that there are transformations on the representation of hegemonic masculinity from macho  to metrosexual, which is influenced by capitalism and consumerism. The transformation is only on the physical appearance, not in its essence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of innovative-learning model that includes aspects of planning, implementation, evaluation, and constraints faced by Indonesian teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Kubu. The design of this research is descriptive-qualitative. The subjects of this research are 3 teachers and the object of this research is planning, implementation, evaluation, and obstacles of application of learning model. This research used observation, interview and documentation method. Data were analyzed using identification, classification, interpretation, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) learning model planning is divided into two, namely syllabus and preparation of RPP. The syllabus used is derived from Kemdikbud and RPP is based on Permendikbud No. 103 year 2014. (2) implementation of learning based on scientific approach, ie observing, asking, trying, associating, and communicating. In addition, teachers vary the learning model with bamboo dancing, articulation, and active debate. (3) evaluation of learning based on curriculum 2013, that is assessment of process and result. (4) obstacles encountered include aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The conclusion of this research is planning of learning model based on syllabus and RPP. Implementation of learning model based on scientific approach steps. Evaluation of learning model based on curriculum 2013, that is assessment of process and result. Constraints faced include aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Teachers are advised to be more careful in preparing RPP and the school provides training related to the implementation of innovative-scientific model of learning.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan industri digital saat ini memberikan pengaruh besar pada kemajuan terhadap industri global di Indonesia. Tentu banyak pihak yang terlibat dalam industri digital tersebut. Manfaat internet saat ini dirasakan hampir di setiap segmen aktifitas manusia.  Salah satu aktifitas bisnis masyarakat yang berkembang saat ini adalah perdagangan online, atau populer disebut dengan Electronic Commerce.Untuk mendukung aktifitas e-commerce diperlukan adanya suatu sistem pembayaran berbasis internet (internet payment system). Saat ini yang berkembang di beberapa Marketplace telah menggunakan metode/sistem QR-Code (Quick Response Code) sebagai metode pembayarannya. Metode tersebut terbukti efisien dalam efektifitas transaksi e-commerce. Namun muncul juga polemik dalam masyarakat mengenai metode QR-Code. Untuk melakukan pembayaran dengan metode QR-Code masyarakat harus melek teknologi dan mengerti tentang penerapan dan fungsinya. Saat ini masyarakat terlena dengan kemudahan yang ditawarkan perusahaan e-commerce dengan metode pembayaran QR-Code tanpa mengerti dan memahami keamanan/perlindungan hukum tentang metode QR-Code yang jelas.Dengan adanya suatu kajian tentang perlindungan terhadap sistem pembayaran elektronik berbasis QR-Code diharapkan konsumen e-commerce dan masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya mengerti bagaimana penerapan metode pembayaran tersebut dan keamanan metode pembayaran tersebut dalam memberi perlindungan bagi konsumen e-commerce.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate: 1) the relationship between situational leadership and teachers’ performance, 2) the relationship between working motivation and teachers’ performance, 3) the relationship between working climate and teachers’ performance, 4) The relationship among situational leadership, working motivation, and working climate on the performance of teachers of public junior high school. The population is 98. This research used census study with the design of expost-facto. The data were collected using the questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple regressions. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant relationship between: 1) situational leadership and teachers’ performance with the contribution of 39,5%, 2) working motivation and teachers’ performance with the contribution of 69.1%, 3) working climate and teachers’ performance with the contribution of 55.0%, 4) situational leadership, working motivation, and working climate on the performance of teachers of public junior high school in Negara Subdistric with the coantribution of 77.1%.

Abstract

This researche aimed at (1) describing basic skill of Balinees counselor at Banjar distric, Buleleng regency, (2) The problem in implementing basic skill of Balinees counselor, (3) The factor causing the problem in implementing basic skill of Baliness councelor, (4) The solution describing based on the real factors in implementing basic skill of Balinees coubselor in learning procces. The design of this research is descriptive qualitative. The sample were 12 people of Balinees counselor from Buleleng regency. Data collection technique used interviewing and observation. The analysis of data was started from data reduction, proccessing/displaying, and given solution. The results of this research was most of the Balinees counselor did not apply basic skill of teaching to teach Balinees language efficiently and maximally. It was proven with (1) the diffuculty of the Balinees counselor in mastering the content of learning as a result they were difficult to teach the content of Balinees language to the learner in learning procces. (2) Lack of interest of the learning to deeply learn about Baliness language. (3) Lack of facilities in supporting Baliness counselor in teaching as a result they got a difficulty in sharing knowledge to the learner. The solution given by the researcher were staurted from variating technique of teaching of Baliness to learner in learning procces, being discipline in mastering class or atmosphere of the class during learning procces. In addition, the researcher provided correlative media in implementing basic skill of Baliness counselor. In summary, the result of this research done was not effective.

Abstract

In line with the 21st century learning of education, 2013 Curriculum (k-13) highlights the development of critical thinking, problem analyzing, problem solving, decision making, and creating something new. It requires teachers to use the new paradigm in designing the lesson plan as well as the assessment, which indicate Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). However, the implementation does not work properly as planned. Therefore this research aimed to analyze the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) in terms of designing the content of lesson plans and assessments at SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. This was a qualitative research employing a document study design. The subject of this study was the English teacher in SMA Negeri 2 Banjar. The data were collected qualitatively through observation, documentation and interview. The results showed that Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) was not expressed in the whole of the lesson plan and the assessment, it was covered in several parts of the lesson plan as well as the assessment. The results has the implication for the English teacher to develop the implementation of Higher Order Thinking (HOT) in the content of the lesson plan and assessment holistically.

Abstract

Target of this research is to identify and formulate of free-merchant woman work ethos at central of tourism area in Bali and to know relation among ethos work of free-merchant woman with socio-culture conflict. This Research used approach "Critical Etnography Research" in research paradigm qualitative. Research data collected by using partisipative observation, interview, quitionaire, and document studies. Overall of research data a nalysed by using technique analyse qualitative with analysis model pass by dots-quickly.Result of research indicate that: (1) all of free-merchant woman in Bali have typical of activity ethos and have the open character, (2) there are bearing having the character of magic-logical among ethos work of all free-merchant woman in Bali with friction of local socio-culrure, (3) patterned thinking and behavior of all free-merchants woman give very positive contribution to construction effort and added values for existention of Balines society.

Abstract

: Praktik koloniaslisme di tanah air yang berlangsung selama tiga setengah abad telah membawa banyak perubahan mendasar pada garis-garis kultural bangsa Indonesia, sebagai bangsa terjajah. Hal ini kemudian tergambar jelas dalam karya sastra poskolonial yang terbit kala itu, termasuk novel Para Priyayi karya Umar Kayam. Pendeskripsian realitas fiksi dan realitas historis tersebut telah memunculkan pola mimikri dan hibriditas. Berdasarkan pengkajian dengan metode hermeutika dan deskriptif berhasil diungkap beberapa hal berikut. Pertama, gejala mimikri yang muncul dalam novel Para Priyayi setidaknya mencakup tiga hal , yaitu (1) mimikri dalam berbahasa; (2) mimikri sebagai penyesuaian etika dan kategori ideal; (3) dan local genius mimikri. Kedua, gejala hibriditas muncul dalam lingkungan sekolah, birokrasi kepemimpinan, dan pendirian sekolah dan perhimpunan organisasi-organisasi pemuda.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui langkah-langkah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi dengan menggunakan video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, (2) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis cerita fantasi melalui video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, dan (3) mengetahui respons siswa terhadap penggunaan video anak “Malin Kundang” dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi  di kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha. Objek penelitian ini adalah langkah-langkah meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi dengan menggunakan video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, peningkatan kemampuan siswa menulis cerita fantasi melalui video anak “Malin Kundang” pada siswa kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha, dan respons siswa terhadap penggunaan video anak “Malin Kundang” dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fantasi  di kelas VII 3 SMP Laboratorium Undiksha. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes, kuesioner dan wawancara. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif-kualitatif dan deskriptif-kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) berdasarkan hasil observasi yang dilakukan, dapat dikatakan bahwa langkah-langkah pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru sudah tergolong baik/bagus. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari penilaian yang diberikan peneliti atau observer saat mengamati guru mengajar. (2) penggunaan video anak "Malin Kundang: dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dalam perbandingan skor rata-rata klasikal, yakni pada pratindakan skor rata-rata klasikal 68.14 (cukup), siklus I memperoleh skor rata-rata klasikal 76,66 (baik), sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata klasikal siswa menjadi 82,95 (baik); (3) siswa memberikan respons sangat positif dan positif terhadap penggunaan video anak "Malin Kundang" dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita fantasi. Dari hasil yang telah dicapai, bahwa penggunaan video anak "Malin Kundang"  perlu dipertimbangkan sebagai upaya untuk mengoptimalkan proses dan hasil belajar bahasa dan sastra Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce an application of geographic information system that can help Bappeda Pontianak City and other related parties in: 1) managing information of government infrastructure, 2) mapping the location of government infrastructure deployment, 3) handling historical data of government infrastructure, 4) provides information on the condition of government infrastructure so as to better support infrastructure maintenance planning and local revenue management. This research is done by storing the data attribute infrastructure into a tabular data, then mapping infrastructure based on the location where the infrastructure is built into a thematic layer. The thematic layers are then arranged overlaid with other layers and relate to tabular data so that it can be analyzed based on geographic conditions (spatial analysis) as well as analysis based on tabular data and client-server function so that the number of infrastructure points on the admin and user side amounts to same. The resulting system can handle the data input process and data search process and perform spatial functions well. The data input by the user is always validated and there is feedback to the user when an error occurs. The system is capable of handling historical data of an infrastructure based on the infrastructure point id and displaying it in the form of attribute data. The system can show the deployment of infrastructure in Pontianak City which is described in the form of maps so that users can know more clearly the location and condition of existing infrastructure. The results of research using blackbox testing by looking directly the results of existing applications.
