Abstract

Seeing the potential of natural resources, human resources as well as the functional of cocoa that can be processed into chocolate. The upstream and downstream industries development is needed. The downstream industry needs policies to encourage the growth of SMEs processing cocoa production. One of the constraints of SMEs growth among the society is the lack of knowledge about chocolate including cocoa processing. Whereas processed cocoa products could actually be produced in a household scale. Therefore it is necessary for training and mentoring program to develop the chocolate business groups in the community. Through the science and technology program, a development program was conducted to two housewives group (PKK) consist of 10 people in RW 07 Kedung Badak, tanah Sareal Bogor. The training provided are production of processed chocolate, exclusive packaging, hampers/parcel packaging, entrepreneurial motivation, on line marketing, basic finance and administration. The achievement of targets and outcomes of the program reach almost 100 percent. The groups of women have started businesses with their own brand chocolate products, receiving orders, assist in the marketing of chocolate stores and souvenir shops, held bazaars and fairs and even some members had participated as a training assistant of processed chocolate. Some constraints are the PKK group still has not registered PIRT and halal certificate with their own brands, they still cooperate with an SMEs partner. This is due to the waiting time on procedures for obtaining the certificate. Another obstacle is the problem of capital source for expansion, including semi-automatic packaging equipment.

Abstract

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT NON PRODUKTIF MELALUI KETERAMPILAN PEMBUATAN TAWAS DARILIMBAH KALENG BEKAS MINUMANABSTRACT Leuwiliang Village, Leuwiliang District, Bogor Regency, is a village that has a fairly dense population with diverse livelihoods. Village Government information is known as 25% of the population has not had a job, so classified as a non-productive society with a very limited educational background and skills. The people of this group are right as partners of abdimas to be given an advanced skills in order to be independent. In this abdimas given the skill to make alum from waste used drink cans. The existing hope can transform into a working society and become a productive society. Instead it can improve the economic prosperity of the village. Abdimas this time was chosen from RW 10 residents of Leuwiliang village with potential both men and women. In addition, also selected the Foundation of Islamic Education Saefulloh Assadiyyah (YAPISA) which can provide a means of producing alum from the raw materials used tin cans. Implementation of this program is done through training and demonstration skill of alum making from raw materials of beverage cans for household scale until finished product with good alum quality, this training had be done 4 time in July and August 2017. The results are very satisfying, the community was very enthusiast, they able to make alum products well and able to demonstrate how to use alum products for purification of turbid water.Keywords: abdimas, alum, KOH, waste used tin cans. ABSTRAK Desa Leuwiliang Kecamatan Leuwiliang Kabupaten Bogor, adalah desa yang memiliki jumlah penduduk cukup padat dengan mata pencaharian yang beragam. Dari informasi pemerintah Desa Leuwiliang diketahui sebanyak 25% penduduk belum memiliki pekerjaan, sehingga tergolong sebagai masyarakat non-produktif dengan latar belakang pendidikan dan keterampilan yang sangat terbatas. Masyarakat kelompok ini tepat sebagai mitra Abdimas untuk diberikan keterampilan lanjut agar bisa mandiri. Pada abdimas ini diberikan keterampilan membuat tawas dari limbah kaleng bekas minuman. Harapan yang ada dapat mengubah menjadi masyarakat berkarya serta menjadi masyarakat yang produktif. Alih-alih dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi di desa tersebut. Abdimas kali ini dipilih dari warga RW 10 Desa Leuwiliang yang potensial baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. Selain itu dipilih juga Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Saefulloh Assa’diyyah (YAPISA) yang dapat menyediakan sarana berupa tempat memproduksi tawas dari bahan baku berupa kaleng bekas. Pelaksanaan program ini dilakukan melalui pelatihan dan demontrasi keterampilan pembuatan tawas dari bahan baku kaleng bekas minuman untuk skala industri rumah tangga sampai dihasilkan produk jadi dengan kualitas tawas yang baik. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan 4 kali pada bulan Juli dan Agustus 2017. Hasil yang didapat sangat memuaskan, masyarakat sangat antusias mengikuti tahap demi tahap pelatihan dan mampu membuat produk tawas dengan baik dan mampu memperagakan bagaimana menggunakan produk tawasnya untuk menjernihkan air keruh.

Abstract

Jagung merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman pertanian dan memiliki arti ekonomis yang cukup potensial dalam menopang kehidupan bagi masyarakat Lombok Barat. Terlebih lagi Nusa Tenggara Barat adalah salah satu provinsi penghasil jagung terbesar di Indonesia. Produksi jagung yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok tani KARYA MAJU dan KARYA KARYA BAKTI di Desa Giri Tembesi selama ini hanya memanfaatkan bulir jagungnya menjadi pipilan kering saja sementara bongkol jagungnya tidak dimanfaatkan secara optimal, karena setelah panen selain dijual dengan harga rendah, dan sebagai pakan ternak, bahkan selebihnya terbuang percuma sebagai limbah. Hal ini dikarenakan oleh minimnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang dimiliki masyarakat. Pengabdian yang dilakukan dengan membentuk kelompok usaha melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan (workshop) pembuatan briket ini bertujuan untuk 1) Memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru kepada kelompok tani dalam pembuatan bahan bakar alternative yaitu briket, 2) Memberikan solusi alternative pada kelompok tani untuk mengatasi permasalahan limgkungan melalui pengolahan limbah bongkol jagung menjadi produk briket, 3) Terbentuknya kelompok usaha briket, sehingga harapannya dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan perekonomian masyarakat setempat. Adapun metode pelaksanaan dari kegiatan program hibah pengabdian ini meliputi tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan yang meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi, dan pelatihan (workshop), serta tahap monitoring dan evaluasi. Adapun sasaran konsumen dari produk briket ini adalah masyarakat di Desa Giri Tembesi sendiri dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan sehari-hari sebagai pengganti bahan bakar fosil yang semakin mahal, serta masyarakat disekitarnya yang dapat distribusikan melalui warung rumahan, pasar tradisional maupun media social seperti WA ataupun FB.Kata Kunci:.Briket, Usaha, Bongkol JagungPKM BRIQUETTE BUSINESS GROUP TROUGH THE UTILIZATION OF CORN STALK WASTEAbstractCorn is one of the agricultural crop commodities and has economic potential that is quite potential in sustaining life for the people of West Lombok. Whats more, West Nusa Tenggara is one of the largest corn producing provinces in Indonesia. The production of corn produced by the farmer group KARYA MAJU and KARYA KARYA BAKTI in Giri Tembesi Village has only used the corn grains to become dry shells only while the corn nodules are not used optimally, because after harvest they are sold at low prices, and as animal feed, even the rest is wasted as waste. This is due to the lack of knowledge and skills possessed by the community. Dedication made by forming business groups through socialization and workshop on making briquettes is aimed at 1) Providing new knowledge and skills to farmer groups in the manufacture of alternative fuels, namely briquettes, 2) Providing alternative solutions to farmer groups to overcome the problem of environment through processing corn corn waste into briquette products, 3) Establishment of briquette business groups, so that their hopes can improve the economic welfare of the local community. The implementation method of this service program dedication grant includes the planning stage, the implementation phase which includes socialization activities, and workshops, as well as the monitoring and evaluation stages. The consumer target of this briquette product is the community in Giri Tembesi Village itself in fulfilling their daily needs as a substitute for increasingly expensive fossil fuels, as well as the surrounding communities that can be distributed through home stalls, traditional markets and social media such as WA or FB.

Abstract

Real Working Lecture (KKN) is shown to the student Forms of Devotion society which is thelanguage of prayer one embodiment Forms Tri Dharma College. KKN demanding activitiesrequire students to be able to solve problems that occur in the community, developing thepotential that exists somewhere either from natural resources and human resources, helpbuild a place to be more advanced than before by studying and working in a certain time.KKN students participating in the Faculty of Education University of Djuanda empowerpeople Semplak West Village with a basis to develop models of waste bank management. Thewaste problem is still a staple of the customs surrounding communities. The garbagedisposal is not in place result in the environment becomes uncomfortable and also can be afield of disease. With the garbage bank as the work program KKN the Faculty of Education isexpected to villagers in Semplak West could change bad habits for the better by savinggarbage and befriending the trash, not only to make an economic value, but it has a noblepurpose, namely to make the environment clean, healthy and comfortable, because a healthyenvironment not only for others but feel for ourselves.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah program dari fakultas keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk mengenalkan mahasiwa kepada dunia nyata dimana mahasiswa dapat mengaplikasikan ilmunya secara langsung kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertajuk KKN di desa Sukakarya kecamatan Megamendung kabupaten Bogor Jawa barat. Mahasiswa pelaksana kegiatan terdiri dari 20 orang mahasiswa, dimana kegiatan ini  dilaksanakan dalam waktu 40 hari. Permasalahan yang ditemukan berdasarkan observasi awal adalah Kualitas pendidik PKBM PAUD yang rendah, Kurangnya perhatian terhadap remaja dan anak-anak, Kurangnya pengetahuan betapa pentingnya kesehatan dan pendidikan, Rendahnya tingkat ekonomi masyarakat. Sehingga digagaslah beberapa program yang dirasa perlu dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat. Beberapa kegiatan yang terlaksana menjadi luaran dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah Pendampingan PKBM PAUD  diantaranya bedah kelas, pedampingan penyusunan administrasi dan pelatihan guru, pendampingan BTAQ yang meliputi kegiatan TPA dan RISMA, Keaksaraan Fungsional, Program penyuluhan Kesehatan, Program Ekonomi Kreatif, serta Program Kegiatan Kemasyarakatan seperti pembangunan ruang pintar dan kegiatan hari kemerdekaan.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Terpadu, Program Tepatguna, Pemberdayaan masyarakat.THE IMPLEMENTATION OF INTEGRATED EDUCATION AND THE APPROPRIATE SOCIAL PROGRAM TO IMPROVE THE SOCIAL QUALITY OF LIFEABTRACT The  social dedication is one of the Teacher Training Facultys Program.   The students face the real social situation and transform their class kowledge to solve the real social program.  The real Social Working was held in Sukakarya Village tha a part of Bogor Regency, West Java.  Those programs had been done for forty days by twenty students.  Previous study had detected the unqualified PAUD teachers, there was no social committe concerning the children and teenagers development.  Many of the social members were not aware of the important of health and good education.  The economic problem was also a big deal to solve. The program had been progressed based on those problem appeared in Sukakarya village.  Some programs that had been done are the accompanied of PAUD school administration, the renovation of PAUD class,  the seminar to improve PAUD teachers capability, Quranic Study included Al Quran  room for kids and teenagers, the increasing of the known of the letter of the alphabet, the healthy training program, the development of the creative economic program, the smart corner in order to facilitate the children for literature and finally, this program ended after the celebration of Independence Day.

Abstract

The improvement of the social piety as a thanksgiving to Allah SWT would be this years theme.  The essence of the theme is the nature of obedient to Allah SWT and an awareness of the importance of maintaining human relationship. The important of being grateful for the fortune given by Allah SWT, so the Muslim would be stronger faith and brotherhood. The slaughtering and distribution was held on Friday 25 September 2015 in Bogor Djuanda University as a role processes of Ied Adha in Bogor Djuanda University. The activity was conducted by the cooperation of foundation of Amaliyah, LPPM Bogor Djuanda University, and DPP Al-Ittihadiyah. The slaughtering was begun at 05.30 a.m. First, checking the condition of the animals by the husbandary lectures and students. Then, the distribution was done by the coupon. The data showed that 137 receiver from the employee, students, PKD in Bogor Djuanda University, and some corporate institution such as BTN Syariah, BJB, and Polsek Ciawi. 18 cows and 11 goats were distributed to 2000 peoples around Bogor Djuanda University (Gadog, Tipas, Warung Seri, and Sindangsari).

Abstract

Perpustakaan adalah lokasi untuk membaca yang memiliki manfaat luar biasa untuk menambah ilmu pengetahuan. Melalui kegiatan membaca, manusia dapat menjadi lebih berkualitas. Dalam perkembangannya, kebutuhan membaca diakui untuk memenuhi kebutuhan utama manusia untuk hak asasi. Namun dalam pemenuhannya terkadang memperlihatkan sesuatu tidak memuaskan, seperti belum tersedianya perpustakaan atau taman baca, keterbatasan buku yang ada, dan keterbatasan dana dalam pengadaan perpustakaan sehingga hal ini berpengaruh terhadap tingkat membaca masyarakat. Rendahnya masyarakat dalam hal kebersihan lingkungan terutama dalam pembuangan sampah.Kata kunci: minat baca, perpustakaan, kesadaran masyarakat, pembuangan sampah. IMPROVING QUALITY OF EDUCATION AND EMPOWERMENT OF RURAL COMMUNITY AS RESEARCH RESEARCH BASED ON TAUHIDABSTRACTLibrary is one of the reading places which has tremendous benefits to increase knowledge. Through reading, people can be more qualified. In its development, the need for reading recognized as one of the basic human needs as a human right. However in its fulfillment sometimes shows some of the things that are not satisfactory, such as the unavailability of a library or reading park, the limitations of the existing books and funds in the procurement library, its influences to the lack of public interest in reading.

Real Work Lecture is one manifestation of Tri Dharma College namely community service.Real Work Lecture has a positive impact for the community, both in terms of development ofinfrastructure, economic development, education, religious and environmental hygiene. Inaddition, the Real Work Lecture is also has provided invaluable experience for students KKN2016 had engaged in service learning her in Kampung Cipicung village Kabandungandistricts Kabandungan Sukabumi, about how to live in the midst of society, how to socializewith people, to exchange thoughts with the public, and take on the life sciences communityto incorporate economic sciences of Islam to the local community that this Cipicung villagecan grow in terms of local and cultural potential. Abstract

Semakin pesat perkembangan teknologi, maka tingkat kebutuhan akan sumber daya manusia terhadap potensi yang ada di lingkungan tempat tinggalnya menjadi semakin tinggi. Terkait dengan pembelajaran di sekolah, untuk mencapai hal tersebut maka harus dilakukan suatu inovasi dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satunya yaitu dengan cara menginovasi perangkat-perangkat pembelajaran untuk menumbuh kembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Untuk memunculkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, harus ada permasalahan yang harus di pecahkan siswa didalam kelas. Perangkat pembelajaran yang mampu memunculkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang didalamnya menghadirkan suatu permasalahan yang harus dipecahkan oleh siswa melalui penalaran dan pemikiran.Peran Perguruan Tinggi melalui Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi adalah melaksanakan Pendidikan, Penelitian dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat melalui metode penyuluhan, presentasi, demonstrasi dan metode praktek/latihan dalam Pembelajaran Inovatif dan Interaktif Dalam Pembelajaran IPA di SMP St. Andreas Jakarta Barat. Subjek pengabdian kepada masyarakat  ini adalah seluruh Guru IPA di  SMP St. Andreas Jakarta Barat. Hasil kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah adanya implementasi pembelajaran Inovatif dan Interaktif dalam pembelajaran di dalam kelas, dengan mengamati kegiatan siswa dan guru dalam proses pembelajaran, didapatkan skor tertinggi dari aktivitas siswa adalah 100% dan aktivitas Guru tertinggi adalah 96%,  sehingga siswa memperoleh pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan dapat mengasah rasa ingin tahu dan ketertarikan siswa dalam pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Pembelajaran Inovatif &  Interaktif, IPAINNOVATIVE AND INTERACTIVE IN SCIENCE LEARNING ABSTRACTThe more rapid technological development, the level of the need for human resources to the potential that exists in the environment where he lived becomes higher. Associated with learning in school, to achieve this it must be done an innovation in the learning process. One of them is by way of innovating learning devices to cultivate the creative thinking ability of students. To bring up the creative thinking ability of students, there must be a problem that must be solved by students in the classroom. Learning tool that is able to create students creative thinking ability is a learning tool which in it presents a problem that must be solved by the students through reasoning and thinking. The role of Higher Education through the Tridharma of Higher Education is to carry out Education, Research and Community Service. Devotion to the Community through extension methods, presentations, demonstrations and practice / training methods in Innovative and Interactive Learning in Science Lessons at SMP St. Andreas West Jakarta. The subject of community service is the entire Science Teacher at SMP St. Andreas West Jakarta. The result of this Community Service activity is the implementation of Innovative and Interactive learning in learning in the classroom, by observing the student and teacher activity in the learning process, the highest score of student activity is 100% and the highest Teacher activity is 96%, so the students get the learning which is contextual and can hone the students curiosity and interest in learning.

Abstract

The literacy of independent business is upgrading literacy activities through learning business skills that can increase the productivity of individuals and groups independently for students who have attended the basic literacy competence training. The program provided is expected to be the provision of skills in raising the household economic level. The learners would have independence economic skill with the additional income. The implementation of KUM program was held in October-November 2014 which includes training salted egg and coconut oil making. It was conducted in village of Banjar Waru, Ciawi, Bogor. The participants had a good motivation during this program (evaluation of literacy and skills training). Learning by doing method considered as an essential task because people could practice the theory given directly. The result was useful enough, UNIDA through LPPM was booked and bought artificial and palm oil in order to enliven the result seminar of research and service in 2014. The obstacles encountered relatively be overcome, the time table should be adjusted based on the learning and lecturers schedule.
