Abstract

This journal discusses the leadership approach and leadership model applied by the Head of Madrasah MI Ma'arif Kemangguan. The purpose of this study is to determine the leadership approach and leadership model that is carried out and applied by the Head of Madrasah MI Ma'arif Kemangguan. This research was conducted in order to determine the leadership approach taken by the head of the Madrasah MI Ma'arif Kemangguan in carrying out his duties as a leader. In addition, this study also examines the leadership model carried out by the Head of Madrasah MI Kemangguan. In this study, the author uses a qualitative method, by conducting interviews with informants. The main resource person in this study was the Head of Madrasah MI Ma'arif Kemangguan. In addition, as information or supporting data in this study, namely conducting research on two teacher boards of MI Ma'arif Kemangguan and one student guardian of MI Ma'arif Kemangguan. The result of the research is to know the leadership approach and leadership model that is carried out by the Head of Madrasah MI Ma'arif Kemangguan. The leadership approach taken by the Head of Madrasah MI Ma'arif Kemangguan is by using a situational approach, namely the pattern of behavior shown by a leader when leading and able to influence the activities of others, both as individuals and groups. While the leadership model carried out by the Madrasah Head of MI Ma'arif Kemangguan is a participatory leadership model in which the leader holds little control in the decision-making process, here the leader only describes the problem which is then discussed together with his subordinates.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of increasingly stringent educational institution competition at all levels, especially at the Early Childhood level. In this regard, this study aims to determine the application of the 4P marketing mix strategy in realizing superior schools in RA Queen Al Khadijah District. The method used by researchers in researching this case is to use a qualitative approach, because a qualitative approach is used to describe, describe systematically, factually and accurately about the facts and the nature of the relationship between the phenomena being investigated. The sources of data obtained are by using observation, interviews, and documentation. The strategy used by RA Queen Al Khadijah is to implement a marketing mix strategy or better known as 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion). Product, price, place and promotion strategies were all carried out by RA Queen AL Khadijah in providing satisfaction to consumers, increasing the number of students, the quality of students so that the label as a superior school would be given by consumers.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the extent of the role of political parties in the management of budget determination, especially the budget in the education sector. This paper is qualitative by conducting a study and analysis of related laws and regulations, as well as juxtaposing them with a number of relevant scientific writings. The result shows that the position and role of political parties is very significant in the budget-setting management process.

Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to describe and analyze excellent educational services through a Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) at SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen and (2) to find out the impact and results for realizing effective schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a qualitative research method. Sources of data used are resource persons, namely principals, teachers, students, and parents of students as well as documents. Data collection methods used are observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative techniques, with the validity of the data using triangulation of data collection techniques and sources. Excellent education services through the Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS) at SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen with steps (1) planning, by forming a work team, preparing Standard Operating Procedures (POS), preparing facilities and infrastructure, and preparing development instruments, (2 ) socialization and capacity building to teachers and administration, students, school committees and parents, (3) implementation trials, (4) implementation, and (5) monitoring, evaluation and follow-up. The application of the Moodle Learning Management System (LMS) at SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen can create an effective school, which is characterized by (1) efficient use of inputs, (2) effectiveness of learning implementation and education management, both planning, socialization, testing, implementation, and monitoring, evaluation, and follow-up), (3) output productivity, namely learning and accountable education management, and (4) outcome relevance, namely implementation, involvement, and student satisfaction in Learning From Home (BDR). Abstract

Since ancient times, humans who live in groups must have known the term leadership or other designations that mean the same. Leadership is absolutely necessary when there is a cooperative interaction between two or more people in achieving goals. Leadership is concerned with someone influencing the behavior of others for a purpose. More broadly, leadership is the process of the leader creating a vision, influencing the attitudes, behavior, opinions, values, norms, and so on of its members to realize the vision. Leadership touches various aspects of human life such as how to work, neighbors, society, and even a state. Leadership, management, and administration are interconnected efforts and have a very close relationship. Leadership is the essence of management, and management is the essence of administration.

Abstract

This article aims to find out the elements of the organization and at the same time try to build a model for the development of private universities based on these elements. The article uses descriptive narrative method. The result is that there are 7 elements: strategy, structure, system, shared values, style, staff, and skills. PTS carries out the tri dharma: teaching, research, and community service. The development of private universities relies on the transformative managerial ability of its leadership in the midst of a disruptive global flow.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the cognitive development of early childhood in the Qurota A'yun Gandrungmangu Cilacap Playgroup through concrete objects. This research is qualitative research with research subjects being school principals, teachers, and students of the Qurota A'yun Gandrungmangu Cilacap play group. The instruments in the research were interview sheets, observations, and documentation. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: 1) the cognitive development of children in the Qurota A'yun Gandrungmangu play group has developed as expected; 2) through concrete objects such as color balls, puzzles, natural materials can develop early childhood cognitive abilities.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of character problems in students. In this regard, this study aims to determine the management of character education in moral student realization in SDN 1 Karanggayam. This survey is a qualitative survey. Data collection through interviews, observations and documentation. Validity of data using triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and inference drawing. This research led to his five conclusions: (1) Instill in students a sense of values ​​and morality, and aim for character education. These values ​​and morals align with the Madrasa's vision and mission. Instilled character stats include: Religious, sincere, hardworking, smart and caring. (2) The organization of character education, where teachers are role models for madrasah students, is working well. These values ​​and morals are implemented in different ways depending on each teacher's style. (3) Character education leadership includes activities that improve teacher-student relationships, provide students with opportunities to voice their opinions, and motivate students. (4) The control of character education is done by providing students with the development of moral values ​​and literacy. These skills are: Critical thinking, creative thinking, clear communication skills, listening skills, and good moral habits.
