Abstract

Character education is understood as an effort to instill intelligence in thinking, appreciation in the form of attitudes, and experience in the form of behavior that is in accordance with the noble values ​​that become one's identity. Character education that is instilled in Islamic education is the creation of the nature of students who have good morals. The importance of character education is because part of the current generation's problems is a moral crisis. The research method used in qualitative research with field research uses a descriptive approach. Based on data analysis, it was found that the form of character education material in learning the moral creed at MI Miftakhul Falah requires teaching, exemplary, and reflection on morals, worship, and aqidah. The most important point in character education is teaching children to behave according to the guidance of the Koran and Sunnah. The implementation of character education in teaching moral principles at MI Miftakhul Falah is carried out in three ways, namely in-class learning activities, outside-class activities and outside-school activities. Existing facilities and infrastructure, admittedly or not, have contributed to facilitating character education in teaching moral principles with existing materials and using habituation, exemplary, and reflection methods as well as methods that activate students in the learning process.

Abstract

Social media is a source of information that can change all aspects of human life. This is inseparable from technological developments that have penetrated womenfolk, especially young mothers. Among young mothers, social media is considered superior in the speed of interaction, all information can be easily obtained. Not only that, social media is also a special space for young mothers to share experiences. Not even a few then consider it a contemporary label for the sake of maintaining prestige. The view of society sees women who are still dominated in all respects by men. For women, social media is a means to prove that women can actualize themselves well. So that social inequality towards men can be overcome, women are active in social media and there is no direct control given by parents, there are efforts to control given by parents. In limiting the behavior of gadget players that are not in accordance with the values ​​and norms in society.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of school-based management. In this regard, this study aims to determine the Implementation of School-Based Management to Improve the Quality of Education at SMP Negeri 17 Purworejo. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection used interviews, observation, and documentation, and the validity of the data used triangulation, and data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research resulted in four conclusions: (1) School autonomy in improving the quality of education at SMP N 17 Purworejo has been running according to the provisions of the applicable regulations. (2) School participation in improving the quality of education at SMP N 17 Purworejo is by involving all relevant school stakeholders. Participation is carried out in planning activities, policy making, as well as in the implementation of education in schools. (3) The leadership of the principal in improving the quality of education at SMP N 17 Purworejo is going well. The principal is able to carry out his role as a leader and manager in a balanced way. (4) School teamwork in improving the quality of education at SMP N 17 Purworejo is carried out with strong cohesiveness and togetherness, so that they are able to solve problems optimally.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of school quality management. In relation with that in mind, this study aims to determine SMK Quality Management Maarif NU 1 Bener Purworejo in Improving the Quality of Education and Trust Society. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation, and the validity of the data using triangulation, and data analysis techniques including data collection, reduction data, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research resulted in four conclusions: (1) Planning for SMK Maarif NU 1 Bener Purworejo in improving education quality and public trust, namely: First, setting quality standards, which refers to the 8 National Education Standards. Second, quality mapping, which based on the results of the School Self-Evaluation and SNP (National Education Standards). Third, preparation of a quality compliance plan. (2) Implementation of Maarif NU 1 Bener Vocational School Purworejo in improving the quality of education and public trust is carried out through fulfillment of Content Standards, Process Standards, Graduate Competency Standards, Standards Educators and Education Personnel, Facilities and Infrastructure Standards, Management Standards, Educational Assessment Standards, Financing Standards. Next, all the components schools also have a high commitment to the implementation of quality fulfillment. (3) Evaluation of SMK Maarif NU 1 Bener Purworejo in improving the quality of education and Community trust is carried out through the School Self-Evaluation. At this stage, school develop evaluation instruments and then form an evaluation implementation team. (4) Follow up Continue SMK Maarif NU 1 Bener Purworejo in improving the quality of education and public trust is carried out as a continuous cycle, namely through: Corrective Action, this corrective action is taken if the results do not achieve what was expected has been targeted; and Standardization Action, this corrective action is carried out if the results reached the target that had been set.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of akhlakul karimah. In connection with this, this study aims to determine the Management of PAI Learning in Realizing the Generation of Akhlakul Karimah at SMK N 3 Purworejo. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection used interviews, observation, and documentation, and the validity of the data used triangulation, and data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) PAI learning planning in realizing a generation of good morals at SMK N 3 Purworejo is carried out before the beginning of the year's learning begins. In terms of making teaching tools, teachers make preparations by making annual programs, semester programs, syllabus and lesson plans according to the material and directions of the school principal. (2) PAI subject teachers at SMK N 3 Purworejo have carried out the learning process in accordance with what had been previously prepared. Implementation of learning is carried out in accordance with the educational calendar, a predetermined schedule, and in accordance with the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) that has been made. (3) Teachers who teach PAI carry out an assessment of the success of learning PAI in realizing a generation of good morals at SMK N 3 Purworejo in several ways, including by having written exams/tests (daily and end-of-semester assessments) and assessing students' attitudes/morals in daily life. The standards used as a measuring tool for assessing the success of students in learning PAI learning are changes in the attitude of students and their practice in behaving, speaking, behaving, and changes in the attitude of students towards teachers in everyday life. (4) Each PAI teacher carries out follow-up learning by reporting learning outcomes in each subject taught to the school principal. Reporting of learning outcomes is carried out every semester. Learning outcomes in the form of assessments will be recapitulated and reported both orally and in writing. Learning outcomes are also conveyed by homeroom teachers directly to parents/guardians of students when taking the study results report book.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of school-based management in improving the quality of education. In this regard, this study aims to determine School-Based Management in Improving the Quality of Education at SMP Negeri 02 Purworejo. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection used interviews, observation, and documentation, and the validity of the data used triangulation, and data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This research resulted in four conclusions: (1) School autonomy in improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Purworejo with School Based Management (SBM) has been running according to the provisions of the applicable regulations. (2) School participation in improving the quality of education, namely that schools always involve school committees in planning and establishing policies, school committees also play an active role in assisting the implementation of education in schools in their capacities as advisers, program supporters, controllers, and even mediators. (3) The leadership of the school principal in improving the quality of education is very effective in managing the existing infrastructure and if something is incomplete, he immediately tries to complete it so that the learning process runs optimally. (4) The school work team carries out its duties as a school development team, namely by providing input to schools as material for consideration in making decisions, carrying out coaching to improve teacher abilities, making school development plans and preparing reports on the implementation of tasks.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of akhlakul karimah. In this regard, this study aims to determine the management of character education in creating a generation with good morals at SMP Negeri 4 Purworejo. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection used interviews, observation, and documentation, and the validity of the data used triangulation, and data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The inculcation of values ​​and morality in creating a generation of good morals at SMP Negeri 4 Purworejo is carried out by the principal, teachers and staff and all school members. The teacher integrates character through learning lesson plans and through school extra-curricular activities, providing motivation. (2) Modeling of values ​​and morality in creating a generation with good morals is carried out by the principals of all teachers and employees as well as parents. They realize that their behavior is a model for their students. Therefore all school members are always careful in behaving and speaking in front of students at school. (3) SMP Negeri 4 Purworejo facilitates values ​​and morality in creating a generation of good morals. Schools provide opportunities for students to solve problems related to school activities. The school principal, employee teachers always listen seriously to students' complaints and suggestions. The teacher involves students directly so that it influences the character of students. (4) The development of values ​​and moral literacy in creating a generation of good morals is carried out by SMP N 4 Purworejo to provide critical, creative thinking skills and communicate clearly. (5) Developing a values ​​education program to create a generation of good morals that is carried out by SMP N 4 Purworejo, namely by including it in extra-curricular learning.

Abstract

Balance scorecard management can assist the education process which includes a management system for continuous quality improvement and with balanced management in each unit. In its application in the world of education, it has four perspectives, financial, customer, process, and learning / growth perspectives. So it is necessary to study and conduct research on the management of school balance scorecards in improving the quality of education, especially in study groups (KB). This study aims to describe and explain (explanatory) BSC management carried out by KB Muslimat NU Nur Ikhlas, including describing the supporting resources used to improve the quality of education. This research is a qualitative research. Data collection used interviews, observation, and documentation, and the validity of the data used triangulation, and data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that in terms of the quality of education achieved by KB Muslimat NU Nur Ikhlas it is relatively better for the PAUD level which has not been established for a long time. (1) The perspective of the Balanced Scorecard which is applied to non-profit organizations/institutions such as in the KB Muslimat NU Nur Ikhlas requires modification. If for profit organizations for a financial perspective are incoming cash and working capital, then for non-profit organizations the main focus is not on financial achievement, but on achieving customer-focused goals, in the context of government organizations is the community, then public services must be provided at a cost level competitive and efficient. (2) In the business world, whatever the business is, including business in educational services, namely Learning Groups (KB), in order to be successful in their business, they must provide satisfaction to their customers, both internal and external customers. (3) The ability to educate and train teachers is different, so an effort is needed to assist teachers in finding appropriate strategies and methods in learning so that they can guarantee quality improvement and solve their respective learning problems. (4) From the perspective of learning and growth with the aim of strategies to develop teacher creativity to develop quality and affordable learning methods, it can be measured by increasing teacher creativity and the variety of methods used in learning (outcome), as well as seen from the student: teacher ratio and the ratio of teaching aids : pupil.(quality control).

Abstract

This study describes extracurricular management for students at Integreted Islamic Pre-School Alhamdulillah Yogyakarta. The purpose of this study was to find out how extracurricular management is implemented at Integreted Islamic Pre-School Alhamdulillah Yogyakarta. This paper was conducted using a qualitative method and a descriptive approach based on observations and interviews conducted at Integreted Islamic Pre-SchoolAlhamdulillah. Based on the research conducted, extracurricular activities at Integreted Islamic Pre-SchoolAlhamdulillah are carried out every day. The extracurricular activities that are carried out every day, namely: drum band, painting, and dancing. Extracurricular management is also carried out starting from the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating stages.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Adiwiyata School at MAN Purworejo which includes 4 components of the Adiwiyata program, namely environmentally sound policies, Implementation of Environment-Based Curriculum, Participatory-Based Environmental Activities and Management of Environmentally Friendly Support Facilities. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The informants for this research were the School Adiwiyata Team, the Principal, Deputy Principal for Facilities and Infrastructure, School Public Relations, Teachers, Employees and Students. Research location at MAN Purworejo Data collection techniques with triangulation through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that: (1) the implementation of environmentally sound policies has been carried out by changing the vision and mission to support environmental management and there is an allocation of funds for the Adiwiyata program in efforts to protect and manage the school environment, an environmentally sound curriculum is implemented by integrating environmental insight material into subjects , participatory environmental activities are carried out through various environmental actions both held by schools and agencies and managing environmentally friendly facilities by utilizing Green Houses, green open spaces and school yards for learning. (2) Schools have attempted several activities involving students in the Adiwiyata program, including involving students in environmental actions, and environmental workshops and waste recycling training. The obstacles faced were the lack of cooperation and the lack of awareness of students regarding madrasa concerns.
