Abstract

Humanistic thought in education has always been interesting to be discussed. As between two figures who discuss humanistic education is Naquib al-Attas and Paulo Freire. The purpose of doing research is the study of humanistic thought from the second related about: (1) the meaning of humanistic psychology in education; (2) the thought of humanistic Naquib al-Attas and Paulo Freire; (3) the Humanistic Education in Islam; and (4) Seeking similarities and differences of humanistic thought both figures in the context of Islamic education. A research method in this research is qualitative research. The collection of data in this study using the method of documentation. Data analysis was done by providing a hidden meaning to the data that was successfully collected based on primary data. The technique of the validity of the data by triangulation. Based on the results of research conducted, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) the Humanistic in Islamic education is a process of education that paying more attention to aspects of human potential as being given a chance by the Almighty God to develop the potential in themselves;  (2) the MenurutNaquib al-Attas, humanistic religious concept puts human being having regard to responsibility. Meanwhile, according to Paulo Freire, humanistic is the concept of giving freedom to the individual human being; (3) the Humanistic Education in Islam is an effort of the embodiment or manifestation of the self in the world of Islamic education; (4) the equation of the theory of both figures are located on its object, the man. While the difference is based on human concepts, goals, and values.

Abstract

Study this library gives an overview of the educational characteristics of Muhammadiyah. Education in Muhammadiyah has based its own distinctive compared to education in General. Through this research note that chicken claw Muhammadiyah is a response to the education policy of the Government in the implementation of the curriculum that is applied. The integration of the system and the results of education that combine Islamic Science and general knowledge is philosophical thinking as well as the educational vision of Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Changes to a new paradigm of education management demand professionalism principal leadership. Through transformational leadership, principals should be able to optimize the potential of the school as well as possible. The leadership of the principal with regard to skills and competencies either principal or hard skill was to affect the entire school's resources to achieve the goals and objectives that have been set at school. An effective principal leadership is a leadership that is able to empower the entire potential at school with optimal, so teachers, staff, and other employees feel established by the school. Good leadership certainly very impacts on whether the objectives of the Organization are achieved because the leader has an impact on his performance.

Abstract

Research objectives for describing an application of scientific learning approach on Islamic religious education lessons in Elementary School Muhammadiyah Sapen and application of authentic assessment in the subject Islamic studies, as well as the description do approach to scientific learning and assessment can improve the quality of learning of authentic Islamic education in Muhammadiyah Sapen elementary school. The type of research used is evaluative research program with research approaches to mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative). The technique of collecting data through in-depth interviews and documentation.  The results of these research findings are as follows (1) On scientific learning administration device owned by the teachers have not been adequate because of the completeness of an administration owned teachers still refers to KTSP curriculum. Padaproses PAI has not fully observed the teaching steps in scientific learning, which includes observations, asking questions, trying, rational and communicate. (2) on the assessment process, authentic teachers still experience difficulties especially since the high and complexity of curriculum assessment of 2013. (3) the quality of learning Occurs in the primary PIE Muhammadiyah Sapen experience increased, ranging from improved process i.e. business guru PAI SD Muhammadiyah Sapen to creatively make administration curriculum tailored to 2013 and the end result be the values obtained showed an increase in students from semester to semester II

Abstract

The condition of the spiritual and social attitude among the students, especially students in Indonesia are Muslim, presumably enough concern. If for a moment we see the condition of the Congregation to pray in the mosque and there was very rarely, mushalla teens ages junior high and senior high school students active in the prayer congregation. Similarly, in terms of social attitudes, it is not uncommon to cause conflict and strife, even to a brawl which led to the death. These conditions encourage the Government to incorporate aspects of spiritual and social attitudes as the must-have competencies in the curriculum learners 2013. It is, therefore, a problem that wants to be revealed in this study is what efforts should be done to develop the spiritual attitude of and social students? Among the efforts to develop the spiritual and social attitude of the learners is through positive psychology review. To develop attitudes of spirituality are: (1) familiarize prayer is Dhuhr Congregation; (2) organized a prayer Friday; (3) the movement comes to the mosque;  (4) hold a prayer lesson matriculation and reading Qur'an. To develop the attitude of grateful are: (1) get used to say thanks;  (2) make a list of grateful; (3) make a list of the names of the people who are supposed to be delivered thanks; (4) make thank you greeting cards; (5) class grateful; and (6) if I become. Whereas in order to develop the attitude of honesty are: (1) individual tasks or Deuteronomy honestly; (2) hold honesty. To develop the character of the apology were: (1) build self-awareness in students that the man did not escape the error: (2) write a letter of apology; and (3) organize apologizing class

Abstract

The duty of an educator is giving a knowledge to their students, train a skill, as well as to determine direction and belief. In implementing the tasks and this requirement so an educator must have patience, creativity, be an example and had to have basic knowledge in teaching, belong applies the methods of truth and a proper.Therefore, the use of the proper model is also necessary for The elementary school subdistrict Slahung, district Ponorogo, learning the Indonesian language his ability to read technical use the model talking stick with music a student of The elementary school subdistrict Slahung, district Ponorogo years lessons 2016/2017 increase.The increase was shown as follows: (1) in cycle 1 first meeting motivation ( interest ), the role of and liveliness students in reading technical increased than before use the model talking stick with music , are still less maximally because the outcomes learning still about 60 % , (2) cycle 1 the second lessons students have somewhat increased to 70 % , (3) cycle 2 and sub-basic subjects of different from the round first and second but still use the model talking stick with music in Learning so interest, the role of and liveliness students in reading technical in and teaching process increase with the outcomes learning around 80 % .This proves that model talking stick with music acceptably well by students because in it contains elements learning while playing

Abstract

It has become a common culture that learners often have difficulty in understanding the subject matter. arabic language is considered a scourge that is daunting and very difficult to understand. It became one of the sockets of the 90s to learners why they become lazy and reluctant to focus when dealing with the eyes of the Arab Language. It's no wonder a lot of values among learners are insufficient or still under the minimum total criterion set by the school. Then the Educational Gaming method is considered capable of providing solutions to the problems experienced by a student, that is because of that kid, in general, are very fond of all kinds of game.  In this method can also provide an opportunity for parts can learn while playing which is a trait typical of a child. It can make learning to be more meaningful since learners are stimulated to develop their creativity, the ability to think, as well as their imagination.
